Lucky You -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Sunday, and it's time for another Stella Says Sketch Challenge for Bugaboo Stamps. It all happens over on the Catch the Bug Blog!  It begins today and runs for two weeks.

With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, I'm making cards for the holiday.  I decided to add another one to my stash using today's sketch for Stella Says Sketch.

Using Edward St. Patrick's Day,  I created this:

I colored Edward St. Patrick's Day with Copic markers, then followed the current sketch to create my card.  Here's the sketch:

The  shamrock paper is by AMB Illustrations.

I hope you can join us the next to weeks at Catch the Bug Blog for the newest Stella Says Sketch Challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Outside Looking In -- for Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenges. Challenges run for 2 weeks, and are always sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop. Today's challenge has the theme of "Outside Looking In".  You can interpret this however you'd like.  Use those window dies that you own.  Make an outdoor scene, if you wish.  I used the awesome Window View and Window Layer from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  Layer everything together, I created this:

The deer looking in the window is from Window Layers Collection. The window frame with the floral bouquet is part of the Window View Collection.

I framed the whole card with a die from a company no longer in business (Craftin' Desert Divas), I cut it out with a piece of paper from the Happy Birthday Collection.  The pretty pink textured paper is from the Sentimental Canvas Paper Pack.

The banner die and stamp are by Crafter's Companion.

I hope you can join us this next 2 week's for our Outside Looking In Challenge.  I'd love to see how you interpret this, and we have great prize for you to win!

Love Pup -- An All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

It's the 22nd of the month, and that means the All Dressed Up Stamps design team is showcasing this month's New Releases today.  Every 7th and 22nd of the month, you can find some inspiration for the new releases from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.  This month, there are 3 new releases being showcased.

You know I love dogs, so I went a bit wild when Wendy, the talented artist of All Dressed Up Stamps first showed me one of this month's New Releases -- Woof You. I was so pleased when it was sent my way to design with.

Here is my version of Woof You...

I colored Woof You with Copic markers.  The papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are the Muddy Paws Papers, the papers that Bonnie created in honor of my birthday last year.  I can't tell you how much I adore them!  The paw print border is a die from Frantic Stamper.  The sentiment and large paw print are from a set of dies by Kat Scrappiness.

You can see what the other talented designers created with the New Releases in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group, and on the All Dressed Up Stamps blog

Sing in the Rain -- for Jan's Digi Stamp Challenges

It's time for a little mid-month inspiration for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges.  Challenges are always Anything Goes.  This month's challenge will run until February 28, so there's still plenty of time to get those entries in!

It's still very much winter where I live, but I've been craving some color -- something beside snow and gray.  So, I took the opportunity to color up an awesome springtime digital image I found in the Jan Mayhew Store called April Showers Promise

As always, Jan's digital sets come with both black & white and pre-colored images.  There are several options of projects to make in each set, and also several sentiments.  Here's what I created with April Showers Promise:

I've got this thing for rubber boots, or galoshes, as my friends across the pond call them.  They make wet weather seem much more fun than it actually is! This pair, in their bright green, definitely look like they would make splashing through puddles an adventure!

I colored April Showers Promise with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image.  The sentiment is also part of the set.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I used both the Rainbow Gingham and the Dotted Swiss papers. The rhinestones are from my stash. The stitched circle dies are by Crafter's Companion.

Have you entered the JDS Challenge yet this month?  If you use a Jan Mayhew image, you increase your chances of winning one of the awesome gift certificates.  Woohoo!  Come link up!

Snowman Slimline (wouldn't you want to be a slim snowman?)

I'm posting today for both Bugaboo Stamps and Cute Card Thursday.  It's Oldie But Goodie Day on the Catch the Bug Blog, and I colored up one of my favorite little Bugaboo Stamps Snowman.  The theme this week at Cute Card Thursday is Slimline Cards, so I made my adorable little snowman into a slimline card.  Why fit one theme when you can make it fit 2?

I created this slimline card with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store and this Snowflake Snowman Digital Stamp...

I colored Snowflake Snowman with Copic markers.  Once the card was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3, it was only a matter of constructing it. That cute Snowflake Snowman makes the card, doesn't he?

There will be other fun Oldie but Goodies on the Catch the Bug Blog, so please check it out. If you make a slimline card this week, link it up at Cute Card Thursday!  The sponsor is Stamper's Delights.

Love Lilies -- for Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  The theme all month has been, "All You Need is Love".  There is a challenge with that same theme, and I'd love for you to join us!

Today, I used an absolutely beautiful digital image called Lily's Lullaby

I colored Lily's Lullaby with Copic markers, and Spectrum Noir Tricolor Brush pens. I used an embossing folder by Crafter's Companion and inked the edged.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM, a company that went out of business long ago, but I'm still well stocked.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders dies.

You can find many beautiful images in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop. For great inspiration, check out the CCK Inspiration & Challenge Blog each day. For even more inspiration, and another challenge, check out the CCK Facebook Group

Birthday Card Creator -- Fro Dies R Us Challenges

It's the 15th of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store

You can never have too many birthday cards, right? So, I thought I'd use the awesome Create-a-card dies that Crafter's Companion has developed recently, and Dies R Us is carrying, and make a birthday card. I used the Interchangeable Flower Frame to create this:

I chose to use the birthday sentiment, but there is also a Best Wishes and a Just for You option with this set.  Really fun and versatile! The small stitched hearts are by Lawn Fawn.  They are part of the Just Stitching Hearts set

The background paper on this card is by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the papers in the Daydreams Collection. The crinkly ribbon can be found in the DL Art Etsy Shop

The current Dies R Us Challenge will run until Feb. 28. Please join us!

Puppy Love on Valentine's Day -- For Bugaboo Stamps

Happy Valentine's Day!  Do you ever make cards for your pets to give to your loved ones?  Pets are a very important part of most families, so I'm guessing I'm not the only one that does this!

There's a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge starting today for Bugaboo Stamps.  It's all happening over on the Catch the Bug Blog. Since it's Valentine's Day, I thought I'd make a card for my dog to give to my husband.  After all, he needs to show his love, too!

Using one of the pups in the Valentine Pup Set (there are 3 in the set), I created this:

I colored Valentine Pup with Copic markers, then used some of my all-time favorite papers to create this card.  They are the Muddy Paws Papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop

Here's the sketch for the current Stella Says Sketch Challenge:

As you can see, I followed the sketch pretty closely.  I only played with the embellishments a little.
Speaking of embellishments, those paw print die cuts are by Kat Scrappiness.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks for the Stella Says Sketch Challenge at Catch The Bug!  I'd love to see what you do with this sketch.

Here is my Heart -- For Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and that's Oldie But Goodie Day at Catch the Bug Blog for Bugaboo Stamps.  We color up some of our favorite older images and give them some love. Since it's almost Valentine's Day, I colored up this darling Valentine Pup.  He's part of a set of 3.

I colored Valentine Pup Set with Copic markers.  I found a sketch to use at this week's Sketch Saturday Challenge. Here's the sketch:

The papers & sentiment on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The heart paper is from the Touch of Teal collection. The sentiment is one of the Valentines Sentiments

I hope you check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designer made today for the Oldie but Goodie post.  You'll find it over at Catch the Bug.  Visit again tomorrow to see this week's Friday Freebie. Then, on Saturday, a new challenge will begin.

Love You -- for Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps

It's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. Our theme all month is "All You Need is Love".  There is a blog challenge going on using that theme, and we'd love to have you join us!

For my inspiration card this week, I used the lovely image, Love is In the Air, colored with Spectrum Noir Tricolor Brush markers.

The lovely heart border was a die I found in my stash, and I have forgotten who it is by.  I think perhaps, it's by Technique Tuesday, but I'm not sure. The "Love You" sentiment is by Spellbinders.

We have challenges both on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog, and In the CCK Facebook Group.  I'd love to see you linked up at either -- or both.  You'll find lots of wonderful images that fit our "All You Need is Love" theme in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop.

Anything But a Card Day at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Monday, and that's always Anything But a Card Day on the Catch the Bug Blog. For today's post, I put together a fun tag with a Valentine's theme.  After all, Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

This tag uses Bugaboo Stamps image, Valentine Jar.   I colored Valentine Jar with Spectrum Noir markers, then fussy cut it.

The tag shapes were cut out with dies from Nellie's Choice, purchases at Dies R Us.

Papers on this tag project are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. The smallest and largest tag use papers from the Touch of Teal papers. The middle tag uses paper from the Nautical Love Collection

I added some fibers from Close To My Heart.  They've been retired for a long time.

Check out the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented designers made today for Anything But a Card, then come back tomorrow for New Release Tuesday! As always, you'll find many, many wonderful digis in the Bugaboo Stamps Store!

Using the adorable Valentine Delivery Pup, I created this:

I colored Valentine Delivery Pup with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  The cute heart background paper is from AMB Illustrations.  The sending love sentiment and banner are from Crafter's Companion.  The various heart die cuts are from my stash.

I used the current sketch at Sketch Saturday to jump start my creativity, and plan to enter this in the challenge there.

Kids Love -- a New Release at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Tuesday, and that can only mean one thing at Bugaboo Stamps. It's New Release Day!  (or re-release day, as is the case today). Every Tuesday, there is a new or re-release that is 1/2 price for a week.  Grab this cutie while you can!

Just in time for your Valentine's creating, today, you can choose from either a boy or girl version of Kidz Heart. I created using Kidz Girl Heart:

I colored Kidz Girl Heart with Copic and Diamond Press alcohol markers.  The Diamond Press marker was overfilled and blopped. Can you see where?  I worked hard at fixing it.

I used last week's sketch from Sketch Saturday to jump start my creativity on this card.   Thanks, Sketch Saturday!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Romantic Hearts collection

Both the stitched circle and stitched heart dies are from Crafter's Companion.

I used the beautiful image titled simply, "Love" to create this:

I colored Love with mostly Copic markers, but a few Spectrum Noir markers too. After coloring, I fussy cut the image, then embossed and cut out the background with a die from Anna Griffin.  The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the Hearts in Love Collection

Orchid Silhouette -- For SheepSki Designs Challenges

It's February first, and a new challenge is starting today over on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge will run for the month of February and has the theme of Romance &/or use Red.

There's nothing more romantic than flowers, right?  OK, maybe chocolate is more romantic, or a nice dinner out, or coming home to a clean house, but you get my drift.  Flowers are a symbol of romance.  So, I decided to create with the beautiful digital image, Mini Orchid Silhouette:

I printed the Mini Orchid Silhouette image onto a new paper in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Painted Strokes papers. Then, I used a die set by Sharon Callis to create the card. The silver butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn. The 'Love You' sentiment is from Spellbinders.

You'll find this pretty Mini Orchid Silhouette and many others that fit this month's theme of "Romance &/or Red" in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop.  Pick up a new favorite, and join us this month!  I'd love to see what you create!

Cupid's Heart -- for All Dressed Up Challenges

It's February already.  How did that happen?  February 1 means the start of a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group Challenges have a theme, last for the entire month, and you must use an All Dressed Up Stamps image.  This month, the theme is "Hearts &/or Flowers". You'll find all sorts of great images for this theme in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

I just love the image Cupid's Heart, so I took advantage of this month's Hearts & Flowers theme to color her up.  Here's what I created with Cupid's Heart...

I colored Cupid's Heart with Copic & Spectrum Noir markers, then cut out the image and backed it with a set of Spellbinders oval dies.  The rose corner die is from Crafter's Companion. The "Love" sentiment is from Spellbinders.

The dotted teal paper in the background is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the papers in the Touch of Teal Collection

I hope you can join us in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group for our Hearts &/or Flowers Challenge.  I'd love to see your creations, and you could win some awesome digital images!

With All My Love -- For Dies R Us Challenges

February -- the month of love!  February first -- the start of a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  Challenges start on the 1st and the 15th of the month.  They are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store. That's easy to do with all the brands sold in the Dies R Us Store

I wanted a card that centered around the theme of "Love" for my inspiration today.  Here's what I came up with:

The large sentiment die is from Tonic Studios.  It is not in stock, but you will find lots of different Love sentiments that would work for this.  The heart in the middle of the word 'Love' is from the Impression Obsession Hearts Set. I mounted the sentiment onto a Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. The Doily Hearts are from Cheery Lynn.  They are called the Two of Hearts Doily Dies.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Romantic Hearts collection

The Dies R Us Challenge Blog -- join us with any project you like!  Just make sure it uses a die sold in the Dies R Us Store. For our Canadian friends, there's the Didi Crafts Store option.

Turner Syndrome Blog Hop

Hello, hello!  I am so glad you are here!  I am pleased to be part of the 3rd annual Turner Syndrome Blog Hop this year, and I'm offering several prizes for this great cause.  Keep reading for details.  This year we have added a card challenge so that more people can play along.  You have all month, so link up and join us!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born missing partial or all of her second X chromosome leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities.  This condition occurs one in every 2,000 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term.  That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Prize Winners will be announced on March 13th, 2021.

23 Caring and Generous Sponsors and 12 Design Team Members are offering prizes to a commenter and card makers and they are helping bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public.  For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page.  Thank you for learning about Turner Syndrome.

My TS related project is inspired by the TSF Mood Board

I also used the beautiful digital stamp set, TSF Fairy, that Jan Mayhew designed especially for this hop.  Jan is donating the sale of the proceeds from the stamp set to the Turner Foundation.  Please consider buying either of her 2 Turner Foundation sets.  You'll find them both in her shop.

The butterfly has become the symbol for Turner Syndrome girls because they are fragile miracles.
I created this card using a butterfly panel die by Kat Scrappiness.  I inked it in the colors of the mood board, then printed the  pre-colored TSF Fairy and fussy cut her. The sentiment is also part of the set.  I used a banner die from Crafter's Companion, cut 3 times.

To be edible for the prizes that I am giving away, please become a follower of my blog.  If I reach 600 followers, I will add another prize to the mix! I recently organized my embossing folders and realized I had some duplicates. Here's a look at the prizes I am giving away:
