Happy Friday, everyone! How do you know it's Friday? There's a new challenge that starts today on the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. Every Friday, a new challenge begins. This week's challenge is sponsored by Stampers Delight. I had the fun of coloring up image, Chibi Make Mine A...
I'm not a coffee drinker (shocking, I know), so I don't tend to color up coffee themed images very often, but this one was too darn cute to pass it up! I just love his hair!
The image was a whole body image, but I decided to work with just the top 1/2. That's the beauty of digital images! I colored Make Mine a... with Copic markers. I found the fun papers at AMB Illustrations, and they are digital. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Tonic Studios that I thought fit very well.
Even though I'm not a coffee drinker, I have plenty of friends who are, so I know exactly who to send this card to!
I hope you join us this week at Colour Crazy Challenges. We had great sponsors with wonderful prizes. I'd love to see your creations!
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

For Mom -- and SheepSki Designs
It's May 1st, and that means there is a new challenge starting today on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. This month, the theme is 'For the Girls'.
Since Mother's Day is just over a week away here in the US, I decided to make my DT project a card for my Mother-in-law. She likes flowers, so I looked through the many beautiful digis in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop until I found exactly what I was looking for - Cornflowers!
I colored the Cornflowers image with Copic markers, then cut it out with two size of stitched ovals from Spellbinders dies. The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store with papers by AMB Illustrations. The hanging hearts is a die from Crafter's Companion.
The 'For the Girls' challenge can be found on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog, and it runs the month of May! I hope you join us!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art Thankful Thursday -- Mother's Day
Crafty Chicks Challenge -- ATG
Crafty Gals Corner -- Spring

Woof to You -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's May 1, and I don't know where April went, even though I didn't do much with the month. I did have more time for crafting, and I enjoyed that! May 1 - that means there's a new challenge starting today in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. This month's theme is Flowers (either in the image or embellishments). The challenge will run for the month of May. You will find many wonderful images that will work for this theme in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.
I don't know how I overlooked this adorable image for as long as I did, being such a dog lover, but when looking for an image with flowers in it, I found the Little Scottie Dog digital image. I knew immediately that it had to be what I colored up for this month. Here's Little Scottie Dog:
I colored Little Scottie Dog with Copic markers. I found the puppy papers at AMB Illustrations. The colors seemed like a perfect match. The Woof! sentiment is an acrylic stamp from a company that is no longer in business. The pink heart stickers are from my stash. This adorable Little Scottie Dog was a joy to color! You will find him and many more wonderful images in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.
I hope you join us this month in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge for our flowers theme. Remember, the flowers can be either in the image or in the embellies. I'd love to see what you make, and you could win your choice of some wonderful digis from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop!

A Happy Hello -- For SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog
It's April 1st, and it's time for a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. Challenges start at the beginning of the month, and run the whole month through. This month, the theme is, "Show us Your Wings".
I've been wanting to color up the darling Flump n Tic image, found in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop.
Here's what I created:
I colored Flump n Tic with Copic markers. I made that bird extra bright so it would show up for the wings theme of this challenge, then I added a butterfly for good measure!
The elephant papers were found at AMB Illustrations. I cut the center step card out on my Silhouette Cameo from a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. I computer generated the sentiment.
I hope you can join us this month for the SheepSki Designs Show us Your Wings Challenge. I'd love to see your creations!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to Ewe (late) for Bugaboo Stamps
It's Wednesday, and that means it's time for a little humor over on the Catch the Bug Blog. Yes, it's Humor Me Wednesday, where all kinds of wacky and sometimes wonderful holidays are celebrated!
In honor of the totally fun St. Patrick's Day holiday that I'm guessing many of us celebrated in some capacity yesterday, I have one last Irish card for today.
This uses the Bugaboo Stamps image, St. Patrick's Ewe to create this:
I colored St. Patrick's Ewe with Copic markers. This Ewe also comes with a sentiment, but with all my wild Irish papers, I thought the card got the point across very well with the sentiment.
The papers are from AMB Illustrations. I found some very cute St. Patrick's Day papers there.
I hope you check out the Catch the Bug blog to see what the other talented designers created for today's Humor Me Wednesday, then head on over to the Bugaboo Stamps Store and have a look at the wonderful shop! Don't forget about the challenges every Saturday and the sketch challenges every other Sunday.

Lucky You Card -- for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog
I'm posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. I always enjoy my chance to get out my large collection of dies and play with them. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Since it's the holiday, I thought I'd share a lucky card with you today:
I'll link to the supplies found in the Dies R Us Store at the bottom of the post, but here is a photo of all the supplies used on this card:
I die cut all the pieces, using the Lucky You die several times and cutting the clover off of the words.
Here are all the pieces die cut:
After everything was cut out, and the clovers were separated from the words, I just needed to assemble the card. I did that with CraftPerfect The Best Glue Ever. It is great for adhering words and small die cuts to your projects!

Turtle-ly Lucky -- for Stella Says Sketch
It's time for a new sketch challenge over on Catch the Bug. Yes, it's Stella Says Sketch time for Bugaboo Stamps! This happens every other Sunday. Today's sketch is an awesome one. You're going to love it! You're also going to love the free digi I used for this.
First, my card:
I used a free digi found in the Bugaboo Stamps Fan Club Facebook Group. You'll find it in an album called "March Fan Freebies". I think it is turtle-y awesome! I love turtles, so this freebie makes me happy.
Here's this week's sketch at Stella Says Sketch:
I followed it fairly closely. I left out the scallops, and the sentiment. I thought this card screamed St. Patrick's Day loudly enough without a sentiment.
The turtle digi is colored with Copic markers. Papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations. I used a Spellbinders set to cut out the turtle and back it.
Stella Says Sketch challenges run for 2 weeks. I hope you can join us! We have great prizes for you to win! Check out what the other awesome designer did with this sketch here at Catch the Bug Challenges.
At the Outlawz Twisted Thursday, they are having a create your own holiday challenge. I am declaring today National Hug a Turtle Day in honor of this awesome digi! (great fun challenge!)

You're Pretty Amazing -- for Catch the Bug Challenges
It's Saturday, and that means Bugaboo Stamps is hosting a new challenge over on the Catch the Bug Blog. Every Saturday, a new challenge begins. Today's challenge has the theme: "Things with wings": batman, dragonflies, airplanes, angels, the choice is yours, as long as wings can be found on your project.
I'm a fan of flowers, butterflies, inking, and coloring, so when I found a way to combine all those into one project, I was excited! This is Daisy Butterfly Tag:
I sized the tag how I wanted it, printed it, then started by coloring it with Copic markers. I inked the tag with 2 shades of Spectrum Noir Harmony water reactive inks using a lighter color in the middle of the tag, and a darker brown around the edge. After that, I cut out the tag. The iris colored tag was die cut using a die from Paper Wishes. The stamp is an acrylic stamp from Spellbinders. The background paper is from AMB Illustrations. The solid color card stock is all from Close To My Heart. The purple twine is from Timeless Twine.
Things with wings-- an easy theme, and you will find plenty of inspiration today on the Catch the Bug Blog. You will also find many images that will work for this theme in the Bugaboo Stamps Store -- including this beautiful one! I hope you join in the fun this week!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Edward St. Patrick -- For Bugaboo Stamps
It's Tuesday, and that means that it's New Release day today at Bugaboo Stamps, or in this case, re-release day. It happens every Tuesday. This adorable Edward St. Patrick's Day Tag will be1/2 price for a week, so grab it while you can!
I'm in the process of making some St. Patrick's Day cards, so I was pleased I was able to use this version of Edward from Bugaboo Stamps:
I colored Edward St. Patrick's Day Tag with Copic markers, then used a circle die to cut him out, and one a size larger to back him. I used an even larger circle die for that contrasting circle.
Papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations. I found some very fun St. Patrick's Day papers there.
You'll find some other great St. Patrick's Day images in the Bugaboo Stamps Store (plus any thing else you may want). Check out what the other talented designer made using this adorable Edward over at Catch The Bug Blog. Grab this cutie and join us in the weekly challenge. I'd love to see your creations!

You are Ear-resistable! for SheepSki Designs
February 1! The start of a new month, and the start of a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog! The challenge will run all month, and the theme is hearts &/or flowers.
I love wildlife. We live in a very wooded area, and can see deer, fox, rabbits, even bear on any given day. I'm quite sure that Rocket & Rosie met and fell in love right in my front yard!
I colored Rocket & Rosie with Copic markers. The sentiment is part of an acrylic stamp set from Technique Tuesday that seemed th fit these 2 very well!
I made the heart shaped card base from a heart shaped die and a background paper from AMB Illustrations. Both heart shaped dies and the small ones used for embellishments are from a company no longer in business.
Hearts &/or flowers. Its a great theme for February, and you'll find many wonderful images that fit this theme in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop. Color one up and enter the blog challenge. You'll find another monthly challenge in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group.

Love My Pets -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's the start of a new month, and it's the start of a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. Since this is February, the theme is, appropriately enough, "Love Is". Interpret that any way you want!
Love, to me is spending time with my dog. I love animals. So, I jumped at the chance to color up this darling image found in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop:
This is Love My Pets, colored with Copic markers. The first pet I ever had was a rabbit, so this really tugs at my heart strings! And one of my favorite colors is blue, so I'm quite sure I had an outfit just like this when I was young!
Papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations. The heart dies are from my stash. I'm sorry, I don't know what company they are (I have too many dies!!!!).
I hope you can join us this month for our Love Is challenge. You can win some of Wendy's wonderful digis. You'll find many digis that will fit this theme, and there are many ways to interpret it. Check out the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop here.

Love You a Ton -- a New Release at Bugaboo Stamps
Did you know there's a New Release every single Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps? Did you know they are 1/2 price for the first week of their release? If you like them, grab them while they're a steal! (Well, digital images are a steal no matter how you look at it, but this is almost like highway robbery!)
Today's New Release is perfect for those upcoming Valentine's Day cards. This is Cute Valentine's Elephant:
I colored up the Cute Valentine Elephant with some bright Copic markers to emphasize his cuteness.
I created the heart-shaped card base with the largest heart die I have. I think it may be part of a Lawn Fawn set. The inner scalloped heart is part of the same set.
I found the pretty pink heart paper at AMB Illustrations.
The sentiment is computer generated, then cut out with a heart die from my stash. The silver heart stickers are from Paper Wishes.
And, that, my friends, is today's darling new release at Bugaboo Stamps. For more great inspiration, check out what the other designers have created with this Cute Valentine Elephant over on the Catch The Bug Blog.

A Latte Birthday Wishes -- the Outlawz Progressive Freebie
Every month, I try to participate in the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge. This month, Kristy Breach, of Imagine That Digistamp provided the freebie. Not only did she provide everyone with a darling image called Lorie's Mocha for all Seasons, she also provided us with fun coffee sentiments.
I took the easy way out this month, and used one of the cute coffee sentiments, also making a gift tag holder for a friend. This friend celebrated her 60th birthday yesterday. She has 4 Labradors, and is training another one to be a service dog for a family with an autistic child. She has a huge heart, and loves her Labrador Retrievers. This gift tag holder was a hit:
I found this Labrador gift tag holder file in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo 3. The paw print paper is from AMB Illustrations. You can see the cute sentiment I used, from the Coffee Sentiments. I cut out the tag with a die from Close To My Heart. The black ribbon is from my stash.

Life is All About Balance -- for Colour Crazy Challenge Blog
It's Friday, and that means there's a new challenge underway at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. The theme is always Anything Goes, as long as you hand color your image, using whatever medium you prefer.
Out sponsor this week is Little Blue Button Stamps. I colored up this darling image, Asana.
I'm not too good at standing on one foot since developing peripheral neuropathy from chemotherapy, but I sure do admire Asana her sense of style here! She has this yoga pose down well!
I colored Asana with Copic markers, computer generated the sentiment, found a paper that seemed to have a bit of an oriental flair to in at AMB Illustrations, and topped off the card with some puffy gold circle stickers.
Life-- it really IS all about balance!
I hope you can join us this week and every week at Colour Crazy Challenges! We have great sponsors. Like Little Blue Button!

Sorry! for Di's Digi Designs Challenges
It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges. Our theme for the next 2 weeks is, Ribbon &/or Bows. I think many card makers use ribbon on cards, and like bows, so this should be easy! Di Carubia has the sweetest, cutest images in her store, Di's Digi Stamps. Snoop around the store, find something you like, color it up, and join our Ribbon &/or Bows challenge.
My inspiration card for this challenge uses the sweet image, Penny's Bouquet.
I colored Penny's Bouquet with Copic markers, then used several sizes of Spellbinders dies to create the card base and cut out Penny's Bouquet.
The blue-on-blue and pink-on-pink dotted papers are from AMB Illustrations. The pink dotted ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Ribbon &/or Bows -- the theme for the next 2 weeks at Di's Digi Designs Challenges. You have until Sept. 6 to join us. I'd love to see what you create, and there are great digis for you to win!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Polkadoodles -- ATG
QKR Stampede -- ATG
TTCRD -- ATG
Outlawz Thursday Twist -- Favorite Embellishment (ribbon)

You're Super -- For Di's Digi Designs Challenges
These weeks go so fast! It's been two weeks already, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is: Things with Tails &/or Wings. Since so many of Di's adorable images are creatures, this is an easy peasy one! Visit her store at Di's Digistamps, do some shopping, then join in the fun!
I used the adorable Little Mouse to create this for the challenge:
Little Mouse is available in both a black & white version and a colored version. I chose the Little mouse in black & white, then colored it with Copic markers. I fussy cut the image, then used my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut out the center step card design used here. The butterflies designer paper is from AMB Illustrations.
The sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Super Hero Sentiments.
I used an image with a tail, then found butterfly papers and added butterflies to the card, just to make sure I had all angles covered with this Wings &/or Tail theme for this challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges. I'd love to see how you interpret the theme! Link up with us!

So Good -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog
It's Saturday, and it's so good! It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is "sweet summertime." Fun, fun, fun! Di has many great images in the Di's Digistamp store that will work for that theme!
I used Drinky Mice for 2 ( the black & white version) to create this:
I colored Drinky Mice for 2 with Copic markers. It was much fun to color!
I found these great lemonade papers at AMB Illustrations. I cut out the fruit and glass embellishments on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with files I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The sentiment is part of a set from Close To My Heart. I used this month's sketch from Cheerful Sketches, so I will link up there.
"Sweet Summertime" -- it's a great theme for the next 2 weeks, isn't it? Color up any image that means summer to you, and link it up at Di's Digi Designs Challenges. We've got great prizes you can win -- like this one!

I used the darling digi from Sasayaki Glitter called Swimmer Elly to create this:

Why Blend in When you can be a Unicorn? for Aloha Friday Challenges
It's Friday, and that means there's a challenge underway over on the Aloha Friday Challenge Blog. Challenges run for 2 weeks, so today, I have a little mid-challenge inspiration. The theme of the challenge for these 2 weeks is Fairytale/Fantasy, and one of our sponsor is Paper Nest Dolls.
I used the adorable Fairy Emma with Unicorn to create this:
I colored Fairy Emma with Unicorn with Copic markers, blending some colors I wouldn't normally blend. That's the fun of Copic markers and coloring!
I used this month's sketch from Cheerful Sketch Challenges to design this card. Here's the sketch:
The fun unicorn papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations. They are the Magical Unicorn papers. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart. The sparkly gems are from my stash.
You still have a week to join us at The Aloha Friday Challenges. This Fairytale/Fantasy challenge ends on May 30th.
