June 1 -- how did that happen? I love these springtime months, and they are going fast! We are barreling towards the summer solstice, and I don't even want to think about what follows that!
June 1 -- that means a new challenge is starting today in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group. Every month, you will find a challenge there with an easy theme to follow. You must use an All Dressed Up image to play along, but there are lots of wonderful ones in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop. This month's theme is "Use Layers."
Since spring is my favorite time of the year, I decided to color up the super sweet image, Love Springtime:
I colored Love Springtime with Copic Markers, then cut her out with a die from The Scrapping Cottage. The butterfly die in the background is a double sided layer die from Crafter's Companion. The silver butterfly die is from Cheery Lynn. Here's a close up of the Love Springtime image:
Isn't she so cute? She seems as happy about springtime as I am!
I used layers of die cuts on my card to fit the challenge theme, but you can layer up your card however you like. I hope you join us this month for the 'Use Layers' challenge at All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group! I'd love to see your beautiful creations!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Polkadoodles -- ATG
Crafty Friends Challenge -- Add Embellishments
A Bit More Time to Craft -- ATG
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

Woof to You -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's May 1, and I don't know where April went, even though I didn't do much with the month. I did have more time for crafting, and I enjoyed that! May 1 - that means there's a new challenge starting today in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. This month's theme is Flowers (either in the image or embellishments). The challenge will run for the month of May. You will find many wonderful images that will work for this theme in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.
I don't know how I overlooked this adorable image for as long as I did, being such a dog lover, but when looking for an image with flowers in it, I found the Little Scottie Dog digital image. I knew immediately that it had to be what I colored up for this month. Here's Little Scottie Dog:
I colored Little Scottie Dog with Copic markers. I found the puppy papers at AMB Illustrations. The colors seemed like a perfect match. The Woof! sentiment is an acrylic stamp from a company that is no longer in business. The pink heart stickers are from my stash. This adorable Little Scottie Dog was a joy to color! You will find him and many more wonderful images in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.
I hope you join us this month in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge for our flowers theme. Remember, the flowers can be either in the image or in the embellies. I'd love to see what you make, and you could win your choice of some wonderful digis from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
2 Crafty Critter Crazies --ATG with a Critter

Crafty Friends Challenge -- ATG

The Earth Giggles in Flowers -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
April 1, the start of a new month, and the start of a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group! You'll find an album there with this month's theme of "Die Cuts &/or Punches". I hardly ever use punches anymore, in fact I've gotten rid of most of them that I used to have, but dies! I have hundreds of them and use them on almost every card I make, so this was easy for me!
I fell in love with this new image in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop called Spring Has Sprung. She is perfect for this time of year!
Spring Has Sprung was an absolute joy to color with the freckles on her nose and the big bow in her hair. And, those boots! I can't forget those boots! I colored Spring Has Sprung with Copic markers, then used dies to cut her out and back her (by Avery Elle), use a die to cut out the bird, and a die to cut out the watering can (both by Crafter's Companion).
The watercolor looking paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the papers in the Watercolor Delight collection. The banner is a printable from We Are 3, found here, and the sentiment, also from We Are 3 Digital Shop, is from the Spring Sentiments collection.
There are 2 challenges each month for All Dressed Up Stamps fans. There's the Facebook challenge and the blog challenge. Join in either or both. I'd love to see your creations!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Try it on Tuesday -- the Beauty of Nature

Some Bunny Loves You -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's March (already!) and it's time for a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group. This month's theme is "my favorite color". You'd think that would be an easy one, but I always way over think this. My favorite color changes with the season, it changes with what medium I'm using to color, and even what kind of paper I'm using. See? I make it way too hard. In general though, I prefer blue and pink in life, so that's what I chose for today's card.
Using All Dressed Up Stamp's image, Some Bunny Loves Me, I created this:
I colored Some Bunny Loves Me with Copic markers in my favorite pinks and blues, then used dies from Anna Griffin to create the card base. The papers on the card are from Close To My Heart. The pretty blue ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
You have all month to enter the "favorite color" challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. Visit the All Dressed Up Stamps Shop to pick out your favorite image, color it up with your favorite color(s), and enter it in the challenge. I'd love to see what you create!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Love My Pets -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's the start of a new month, and it's the start of a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. Since this is February, the theme is, appropriately enough, "Love Is". Interpret that any way you want!
Love, to me is spending time with my dog. I love animals. So, I jumped at the chance to color up this darling image found in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop:
This is Love My Pets, colored with Copic markers. The first pet I ever had was a rabbit, so this really tugs at my heart strings! And one of my favorite colors is blue, so I'm quite sure I had an outfit just like this when I was young!
Papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations. The heart dies are from my stash. I'm sorry, I don't know what company they are (I have too many dies!!!!).
I hope you can join us this month for our Love Is challenge. You can win some of Wendy's wonderful digis. You'll find many digis that will fit this theme, and there are many ways to interpret it. Check out the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop here.

Friendship Warms the Heart -- for All Dressed Up Stamps!
2020! What better way to start out the year than with a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group, and what better theme to get the year going than "Make it Girly". It is the perfect All Dressed Up Stamps theme, as son many of Wendy's wonderful images are as girly as it gets. Check out the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop and you'll see what I mean!
We're had a very snowy season so far where I live so I was in the mood to color up this adorable Sledging All the Way digital image:
I colored Sledging All the Way with Copic markers, then added some icicle Stickles to the earmuffs, pompoms, and snowflakes. To make sure she was extra girly, I added the lace and ribbon to the card.
The designer papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. I used 3 of the papers from the Christmas Magic paper collection. The sentiment is a retired acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart. The snowflake dies are from Crafter's Companion.
Start 2020 out right and join us at the All Dressed Up Facebook Group for the 'Make it Girly' Challenge! How fun is That!

Sweet Little Pumpkin -- for All Dressed Up
It's the first of October, and that means we're starting a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. Challenges start the first of the month, and run all month long. This month, the theme is Autumn or Halloween. Since I'm not crazy about Halloween, I went with a sweet Autumn themed card.
You can find images for both Autumn and Halloween in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop, including new releases!
I used one of the 3 Little Autumn Girls, and created this:
I colored the 3 Little Autumn Girls (the one on the right) with Copic markers, using earth colors, or, "Autumn" colors, if you will. The sentiment is from a stamp set from Joy's Life.
The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Howdy Autumn papers. The leaves and pumpkin die cuts are cut from dies from Yvonne Creations, found in the Dies R Us Store. The enamel dots are from my stash.
I hope you find time to join in with the Autumn or Halloween challenge at All Dressed Up Facebook Group. I have so much fun all month long seeing what everyone creates! Shop for images here in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

So Pretty --for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's September 1, and that means it's time for a new challenge over in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. This month's theme is "Add a Flower." Wendy Burns has so many girly images, and any one of them work beautifully with this add a flower theme! Check them out in her All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop here.
I used the very sweet digital stamp entitled "So Pretty" for my DT inspiration this month:
I colored So Pretty with Copic markers, then used All Dressed Up digital papers to create the card. Did you know All Dressed Up Stamps has digital paper? This card uses papers from 2 different packs -- the Girl papers and the Wedding papers.
I used several sizes of a Spellbinders oval stitched die, then added some paper flowers purchased at Really Reasonable Ribbon to finish off my card.
So Pretty was so fun to color up and design with! All Dressed Up Stamps bring me such joy. I hope you find time to enter the "Add a Flower" challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group this month. Things Will Bee Okay -- for All Dressed Up Stamps - & a birthday winner!
It's August 1st, and today starts a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. You'll find an album there with this month's theme - Fantasy &/or Wings.
I think this Busy Little Bee is the sweetest image, and perfect for the Fantasy &/or Wings theme. What do you think?
I colored Busy Little Bee with Copic markers. She has wings, so fits the theme. You'll find many adorable images in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop that work for the theme. Take a look here!
I embellished Busy Little Bee with papers from Honey Bee Stamps. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, and so is the honeycomb die cut. The bee die is one I've had for a long time and have finally remembered to use.
I hope you join us this month for our Fantasy &/or Wings challenge found in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.

You're the Best! for All Dressed Up Stamps
July 1. July 1? Where did June go? July 1 -- that means it's the start of a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group. The theme for July is Gems &/or Pearls. Easy, right? So many of Wendy Burns beautiful girlie images will work wonderfully with gems and pearls. Start coloring them up! You'll find them in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.
For my design team inspiration, I colored up the darling Pretty Lashes, adding pearls to the card:
My original plan had been to add a pearl necklace, but I didn't have any seed beads that looked pearl-like to make it work. This was plan B. I colored Pretty Lashes with Copic markers. I just love this image! Isn't she beautiful? I don't know if it's the upswept hair, or the flowers in her hair, or maybe it's those Pretty Lashes, but I think she's just awesome! Do you like the papers on this card? They are also from All Dressed Up Stamps. The pretty pink background paper is from the All Dressed Up Pink papers. The pretty blue border is from the Wedding papers.
I used a sketch from a couple weeks ago at Sketch Saturday to help me construct this card. They have a plethora of great sketches if you're stuck! The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart. The pearls, also from Close To My Heart, were all white, but I used a Copic marker and colored them to match my Pretty Lashes girl. I love this technique! I works great with gems and ribbon, too. The border was made with a Diamond Press die.

For the Boys -- and All Dressed Up Stamps
It's June 1st, and that means there's a new challenge starting in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. Every month, this is such a fun challenge! A very supportive group enters some amazing projects. This month, the theme is "For the Boys". Wendy Burns, artist of All Dressed Up Stamps has some wonderful stamps that fit this theme perfectly! You'll find theme here in her All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.
My nephew has a birthday in June, and he's a big gamer, so I thought this Gaming Boy digital image would be perfect for his birthday card. I also used the Boy papers from the All Dressed Up Store to create this:
I colored Gaming Boy with Copic markers. While I usually match my papers to my coloring, I did this the other way around this time, as I already knew what papers I wanted to use.
The "For the Boys" Challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group goes for the entire month of June, so I hope you find time to join us! You can win wonderful digital images -- like this one! Check out the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog for more inspiration and another challenge.

Beautiful Bouquet -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's May! It's time for a new challenge at the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. This month, the theme is super easy: just use your favorite color! You'll find many, many wonderful digi stamps in the All Dressed Up Etsy Store to use for the challenge.
I love coloring with pastel colored markers, especially in the spring, so that's what I did for this month's challenge project. This digital stamp is called "Flowers for Mum", with the text removed.
I colored Flowers for Mum with Copic markers. As I stated earlier, I love pastel colors this time of year. I especially love pink and violet, so I concentrated on those colors on this card. I also like to color rusty cans, so this one was very fun to color!
The pretty strip of flowered paper on the left side of this card is a New Release from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's one of the Floral Burst papers.
I cut the card out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found at Monica's Creative Room.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

The daisy paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Farm Life digital papers.

Lawn Fawn. Two of the papers are from the We Are 3 March release, Lined Paper, and Spring Flowers. The frame and paper behind Pretty in Plaits are from the Tea Time collection. The sentiment is also part of the March New Release. It is from the Fabulous Sentiment Collection.
Girly Girls -- such a fun theme to participate in! I hope you find time to join in on the Facebook challenge in the All Dressed Up Group. I'll be watching for your entry!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- Woman, Beauty, Girl

Love is a 4-Legged Word -- for All Dressed Up
It's February 1st, so that means a new challenge is starting in the Facebook group at All Dressed Up. For the month of February, the theme is, "All You Need is Love".
Nothing, to me, says love, like an animal, and particularly my dog. So, I colored up one of the many All Dressed Up digis that have a dog in them.
Here's Time for Walkies!
I colored up Time for Walkies with Copic markers, and computer generated the sentiment.
The pink paw print paper is from AMB Illustrations. The hearts on the side die is from Technique Tuesday. The glimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.
All Dressed Up has some of the best images to play with, and many of them can be used to fit the "All You Need is Love" theme. I do hope you're able to join us for the All Dressed Up Facebook challenge this month! There's also an All Dressed Up blog challenge to check out here.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Cards in Envy -- Love Me or Love my Pet
Outlawz Twisted Thursday -- Die Cuts
2 Crafty Critter Crazies -- ATG with a Critter
D.L. Art -- February Linky Party

It's Snowing -- All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge
It's 2019! I hope you have some goals set for the new year! I'm hoping for better health, and I'm going to work on gaining strength. Here's to 2019!
It's January 1 -- that means there's a new challenge starting in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. This month, the theme is 'Clean & Simple Cards'.
Since January is generally the coldest and snowiest month where I live, I went with a winter themed card for the challenge.
This is It's Snowing!:
I colored It's Snowing! with Copic markers. Since the theme this month is 'clean & simple cards', I just layered some papers behind the awesome It's Snowing! image.
Papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Winter Sunshine Paper Collection.
The snowflakes are dies, but I'm not sure of the company. Possibly Tattered Lace?
The Clean & Simple Cards challenge will run the whole month of January in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. I hope you can join in the fun!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- January Linky Party
Polkadoodle -- ATG
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends -- ATG

Warm Winter Wishes -- for All Dressed Up
December 1 -- it's the start of a new challenge for the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge. This month's theme is seasons/holidays. Since I'm burning out on Christmas cards, I went with a winter theme on this one instead :)
Isn't she the sweetest? Wendy Burns draws the most lovable characters that are so fun to color! You will find this Snowy Day digital stamp, and many other wonderful digis in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.
I colored Snowy Day with Copic markers. The sentiment is computer generated.
The teal designer paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. This is one of the papers in the Touch of Teal Collection.
The step card base was cut out with a die from Sizzix. The snowflake dies are from Lawn Fawn, and the teal twine is from Timeless Twine.
I hope you aren't too busy this month of December to join the holiday/season challenge at the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. There's also an All Dressed Up challenge underway on the All Dressed Up blog. Check that one out too!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Believe! for All Dressed Up Stamps
November 1! We edge ever closer to Christmas, and the All Dressed Up Facebook Group has a Christmas is Coming theme going on this month for the challenge. Wendy Burns has the most darling images (always), but her Christmas images are particularly appealing!
I used the oh-so-fun Christmas Pooch to create this:
I colored Christmas Pooch with Copic markers. Doesn't he look adorable in his little Christmas sweater? I stamped the sentiment on with a clear acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart. The red twine wrapped around the base is from Timeless Twine.
The background paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's one of the Holly Berries paper collection.
The Christmas is Here themed challenge will go on all month in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. I know things are starting to get busier and busier with Christmas coming on, but I so hope you have time to join in the challenge!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Autumn Greetings -- All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge
Autumn -- my second most favorite time of the year! I love spring, with it's pastel colors and hints of warmer weather, and I love Fall for the vibrant colors. I just don't like what comes AFTER Fall!
This month, for the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge, the theme is Autumn Colors. Those earth tones are so great to blend! I decided to get out my colored pencils (which I definitely need more practice with) to make this month's DT inspiration:
I used the All Dressed Up Stamps digital image, Woodland Bird. I thought it worked well for Fall colors, with those mushrooms it's perching on for the night. I love his little nightcap. Wendy comes up with the cutest touches on her stamps!
The leaf background paper is digital, and was found at Snap Click Supply. The sentiment, also digital, is from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is part of the Itty Bitty Autumn Sentiment Set. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a Spellbinders die set to create the card base and the layers.
Check out the All Dressed Up Facebook Group to find this month's challenge, and other great inspiration. You'll find another great challenge on the All Dressed Up Blog to check out, too.
