Be Brave -- for The Path of Positivity

It's time for some mid-challenge inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  Our optional theme this month is "Choose your Favorite Color(s)".  Or, you can link up any inspirational project you'd like.

One of our sponsors this month is Luna Girl.  Luna Girl has a huge online treasury of vintage images.  You can find almost any vintage theme you can think of!

For this card, using my favorite color, pink, I used the Luna Girl digital collage sheet, Floral Labels, to create this:

I used one of the labels from the Floral Labels sheet, cropped it, then sized it to the size I wanted it.  The background was created on the card base itself, using 3 shades of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.   The quote was found on a Unity Stamp set I own, but I  computer generated instead of stamping it to get it sized correctly.  The butterfly embellishment is from Art-C.

This time of year, when the spring flowers are in bloom in their soft pastel colors, I like pinks, aquas, lilac colors.  As the seasons change, so does my taste in colors.  Soon, I'll be craving summer brights, then fall earth tones.  For now, though, I'm reaching for pink often.

I hope you can still find time to link up with us over at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional 'Choose your favorite Color(s)' challenge.  I'd love to see what you create, and we have some great sponsors this month!

You Give Me Wings -- Ike's Art Progressive Challenge

Happy Saturday!  We're in the midst of a winter storm warning, and it is really snowing!  I'm so ready for spring!

I was thinking spring when I colored this image from Ike's Art and created this card the last several days.  I was thinking butterflies and warmth!

This is Cute Fairy, and she's this month's progressive freebie at Ike's Art Facebook Challenge. If you haven't joined in yet, you can buy Cute Fairy for just $1, make something, then next month's image will be free.

I colored Cute Fairy with Copic markers.   The sentiment is from a stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  I used a sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge on this card.

The metallic butterflies and ladybug are from Art -C.

I hope to enter this card in the following challenges:

Spring Beauty -- for The Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and it's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  The theme this whole month is 'Beauty'.  I think that's such a nice theme for March, with Spring starting today.

We have 2 sponsors this month, and this challenge, I am working with digital collage sheets from Luna Girl

I made this card using Tags #2 -- Bright Flowers:

I used a portion of one of the flowers, cropped it, then enlarged it, making it the focal point of this card.  The sentiments was computer generated.

Papers on this card are from Graphic 45. I used a Top Dog die, and a Spellbinders die, a We R Memory Keepers scallop corner chopper, and the butterfly sticker charm is from Art C.

Join us this month at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our Beauty challenge.  You have until April 3.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Bee Amazing -- for The Cutting Cafe Shop

Happy Hump Day, everyone!  I'm posting today for The Cutting Cafe Shop, using the delightful new set, Animal & Bug Love.  I'm loving this set more & more for it's versatility!

I stamped the bee and mushroom image from the Animal & Bug Love stamp set on X Press It blending card, and colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.

The beehive shaped card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe.   I computer generated the sentiment, printed it on to card stock, and cut out the tag using a die from Paper Wishes.   The designer paper is from Lawn Fawn - Bright Side.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  The bee metal sticker is from Art C.

Check out the Cutting Cafe Shop to see all the other goodies Regina keeps adding.  There's tons of treasures there, and new Easter stamps coming soon!  Check out The Cutting Cafe for more cutting files and printables than you can imagine.  If you can dream it, you can find it there!  There's a great Facebook Group to check out, too -- The Cutting Cafe - Be Inspired
