Sending Woof's of Christmas Wishes -- New Releases from All Dressed Up Stamps

It's the 22nd of the month, and new releases are being showcased for this month's All Dressed Up Stamps in the Facebook Group Today.  there are 4 new releases, and I managed to color up 2 of them to showcase today.  This is a milestone event for me!  I had a mild stroke several weeks ago, and this is the first coloring I've shared since it happened.  The stroke effected the right side of my body more than my left side, and I'm left handed, so coloring doesn't go too badly, but card construction is a struggle, and writing blog posts makes my brain HURT!!  I literally take a nap after I get it done. It is such a struggle for me!

But, on to the 2 new releases I have to share with you. All the new releases can be found in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

The first is Woof Christmas-- perfect for my dog-loving friends!

I colored Woof Christmas with Copic markers.  The paw print border is a die from Frantic Stampers.  The bone die came in a set from Cheery Lynn.  Both sets were purchased from Dies R Us.  The  paw print paper is a digital paper form Echo Park. The sentiment is part of the Woof Christmas digi.

Card #2 uses new release, Christmas Skater.  I think this will be a favorite of this release.  I love her elegant lines!

I colored Christmas Skater with Copic markers, then found that perfect sentiment in a Christmas stamp set I've had for a long time. The edger dies are from Spellbinders.  The Snowflake dies are from Lawn Fawn.  The Background looking glitter paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the papers in the Christmas Magic Set.

Either of these images would work well for this month's All Dressed Up Facebook challenge -- Christmas is Coming.  Why not grab them (you know you want them!), color them up, and join us in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group!

Autumn Wheelbarrow -- for Scrapy Land Challenges

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's challenge time on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store.  Nearly 50 brands of dies are sold in the Scrapy Land Store, so this is easy to do!

It is officially Fall, and it has felt like Fall for quite some time where I live, so I got out some Autumn dies and fall colored papers for today's card.  I love the colors of Fall!

The focal point of the card, the Autumn Wheelbarrow, is a Tutti Designs die.  I love how delicate and scrolled it is when cut out!  The white doily behind the Autumn Wheelbarrow  is from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It is called French Pastry.   The pumpkins and leaves are all from the same set.  They are from Yvonne Creations, and are the Fabulous Fall, Autumn Leaves.  The grass is part of a large set of dies from Creative Expressions. It is called Stitched Collection - Garden Critters.  There are many grass borders, if you search in the Scrapy Land store.  My search provided me with 41 possibilities.  The card base was cut out from a die.  It is from Card Deco

I stamped the sentiment on to the doily.  It is a stamp from Joy's Life Stamps.  The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Fall Inspiration collection.

Please try to join us at Scrapy Land Challenges!  Make a project with any brand die sold in the Scrapy Land Store and link up!  You could be the winner of a $15 gift certificate!

Never Stop Exploring - for the Path of Positivity and Bugaboo

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Bugaboo Stamps is one of our sponsors this month, and I'm on the Bugaboo design team, so I'm doubling up and posting this on the Catch the Bug blog also.
We're also sponsored by Scribbles Designs each month, with a chance to win a gift certificate from them each month, just for following our theme and linking up.

Speaking of themes, they are optional.  This month's optional theme is "curiosity".  You can follow that theme, or link up any positive themed project you'd like.

Bugaboo Stamps has a stamp for anything you can imagine.  Even curiosity!

Since school started late last week in the small town where I live, I made a bookmark with this cute, cute image.  This is Bugaboo Stamps digi, Knobby Knees Girl Bugs, colored with Copic markers.

I used a few different dies to make this bookmark.  The largest tag die is from Paper Wishes.  The smaller tag, including the piece where the computer generated sentiment is, was purchased in the Dies R Us Store are by Creative Expressions.  The pretty dragonfly die is from Cheery Lynn. I used a foil stamp and foil machine to create the background on the large tag.

It's Anything But a Card day today at Catch the Bug. Check out what the other Bugaboo Stamps designer created today.

Join us this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional themed curiosity challenge.  I'd love to see what you make!

Howdy! for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

Howdy, fellow crafters!  I'm on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today, which means I've been playing with awesome dies!

When Dies R Us ran a special a while back on some Cheery Lynn dies, I grabbed a Clarabell the Cow die.  I live in Wisconsin, the dairy state, so it was a must have!  The die is no longer in stock, but Dies R Us carries many other wonderful Cheery Lynn dies.
.

Here are the supplies I used:

I cut out Clarabell the Cow (here's a link to a similar Cheery Lynn die, Thomas the Turtle).  Next, I cut out a Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangle.
Here's everything cut out, needing to be assembled:

The cow needed some eyes, so I used a Viva Decor Turquoise Pearl Pen.
Everything got glued down with the Best Glue Ever.

The fun cow print paper is from Imagine That Digistamp, and the checked ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

When you drink some milk or eat some ice cream, think of me here in the Dairy State, and say, Howdy!

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Just a Song Gift Bag -- for We Are 3 Digital Shop

Hello, and happy Sunday!  I have a cute gift bag I made to showcase one of the new release papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  Isn't this sweet?

I cut the gift bag out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The beautiful note paper is from the Just a Song Collection.  This is just one of 8 gorgeous papers in this collection.

That beautiful bold butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.  The ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

There is a fabulous new release this month at We Are 3 Digital Shop.  If you haven't checked it out yet and done some shopping, it's worth a visit to Bonnie's We Are 3 Etsy Shop

You Are Pawsitively Wonderful -- for Path of Positivity

It's the first Monday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Each month there are optional themes, and this month's is Admiration.

When I think of what/who I admire most, my dog ranks right up there.  Well, dogs.  Period.  They are such a loving, forgiving, giving animal.  I think God knew what He was doing when he created dogs, and it is no accident that God spelled backwards is dog.

With that idea in mind, I created a card with this month's awesome sponsor, A Day for Daisies:

This is Buddy, colored with Copic markers.  The love between a boy and his dog, or a girl and her dog, can be life transforming for that child.  Our Golden Retriever, Winter, brings my husband and I joy every single day.  Our lives are much richer because of him.  There is much to admire in the personality of dogs!

The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps (no longer in business).  The awesome paw print border, and the bone shaped dies were both purchases at the Dies R Us Store.  The dog themed paper is an Echo Park digital paper, purchased at Snap Click Supply.

Admiration -- a theme you can go many different directions with -- so I hope you join us this month at The Path of Positivity.  A Day for Daisies has the best digis you can win!

So Glad You're My Friend! -- for Dies R Us

Friendly greetings, fellow crafters!  I'm on the Dies R Us Inspiration blog today.   I have several different friends that I send cards to every week.  One of them is a gentlemen that just turned 98!  I started sending him a card a week when he turned 90.  It's turned into quite a tradition.  I need lots of friendship cards, so I enjoy making them!

Today, I have a friendship card with a spring twist to it:

The hardest part of this card was finding the papers I wanted to use.  I played with papers quite a while to find a combination I like.  Here's a picture of all the supplies.  I'll link everything at the bottom of this post.

I cut out all the die cut pieces.  What I really like about this craft die from Sue Wilson is that it can be used in either a portrait or landscape direction.

Here's all the pieces once they were die cut.  Then, it was just a matter of constructing the card.

Ready for sending, don't you think?

Dies R Us supplies used on this card:

I used a Cheery Lynn butterfly similar to this one:

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Love Ewe -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday!!!!! It's Freebie day!  That's freebie day at Bugaboo Stamps!  Every Friday, another freebie -- yet another reason to love Friday!

Today's freebie at Bugaboo is perfect for the Valentine holiday -- Love Ewe:

I colored Love Ewe with Copic markers.  The "Love Ewe" sentiment also comes with the set.

I used a sketch from this week's Sketch Saturday to create the card. Here's the sketch:
Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The gray background paper with the musical notes on it is from Tones of Gray collection. The lacy pink paper is from the Sweetheart Collection.  The paper that that beautiful lace heart is cut out of is from the Touch of Teal collection.  Speaking of that lace heart, it's a die by Cheery Lynn.  The gold puffy hearts are from my stash.

Visit the Catch the Bug blog to see what the other talented Bugaboo designer did with the darling Love Ewe digi.  Then, go grab it, and enter tomorrow's challenge at Catch the Bug

Snow Much Happiness -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's the start of the first challenge of the year at Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog. The theme for this first challenge is "Snow Much Fun" -- perfect for winter cards and projects!

I used the darling Snowman & Robin digi to create this:

I colored Snowman & Robin with Copic markers.  The sentiment was computer generated onto a Close To My Heart banner die.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from  the Newly Released Snowmen Paper Collection.

The snowflake die is from Cheery Lynn, and it's one of my favorites.

I hope you can join us during the next 2 weeks for the "Snow Much Fun" challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog.  We've got great prizes you can win, and I'd love to see what you create!

Winter Joy -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and on the Catch the Bug Blog, that's Oldie but Goodie day.  Hey, I qualify!

I colored up one of my favorite winter/Christmas images for today's Oldie but Goodie entry at Bugaboo Stamps.

This is Winter Kidz with Puppy:

I colored Winter Kidz with Puppy with Copic markers, mounted it on Kraft paper, then added some Christmas papers from my very messy work desk.  These papers are from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  They are part of the Blue Christmas papers. That glittery red snowflake was cut out with a die from Cheery Lynn designs.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart.

There you have it, one of my favorite oldie but definitely a goodie! Winter Kidz with Puppy.  Go grab it for yourself, then enter it in a challenge at Catch the Bug challenges, and you could win more Bugaboo Stamps images to play with!

Season's Feetings -- for Bugaboo Stamps

Season's Feetings, I mean greetings, everyone!  Today is new release day at Bugaboo Stamps.  Every Tuesday, it's time for a new release!  Today's new release is Seasons Greetings Feet.  This is actually a re-release, so if you don't have it yet, you can pick it up for 1/2 price!

Here's Seasons Greetings Feet:

I colored Seasons Greeting Feet with Copic markers, then went to work finding the perfect background for all those Christmas feet!

I cut out this card on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  It is large enough to fit in a business size envelope.  The Santa hat paper is from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  It is one of the Bright Christmas papers.  I found that corrugated silver foil paper in my stash.  I have no idea where I got it from or who makes it.  The red snowflake is a cutting die by Cheery Lynn.

Check out the Catch the Bug Blog to see what other Bugaboo designers did with this delightful Seasons Greetings Feet image. Check back each day to see the wonderful inspiration.  There's always lots happening at Catch the Bug!

Hummingbird Sympathy -- for Dies R Us

I'm on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today, with a lacy hummingbird card.

I'm a church organist.  One of my duties, besides Sunday services, is playing for funerals.  I seem to always need a sympathy card.  Today, I used some gorgeous Dies R Us products and created a sympathy card:

I'll go over all the supplies a bit later in this post, but here's a photo of them, before I started:

The nesting dies are from Yvonne Creations Dies.  It is the Nesting Frame Die.  I love this die, but there's a bit of a learning curve with it.  Make sure you keep track of your layers, or it can get confusing.  I've ruined some paper, cutting the pattern in the wrong direction.  I always reassure myself -- it's only paper!!

Here's a shot of how I did the card base:

Notice how I leave the largest die outside of the fold of the card base.   If you look closely at the finished card, you can see where that fold is.  The outside layer is exactly the same size on the left side of the card (where the fold is).

Now, as promised -- a list of supplies used:

Hedgie with Sunflowers - for Di's Digi Designs Challenges

I love this time of year, with the seasons starting to change a bit, and the sunflowers ripening where I live.  I love how they turn their faces to the sun each day and follow the sun's orbit.  They are such happy flowers!  They were the inspiration behind today's day, created for the "2 or more patterned papers" challenge that starts today at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  The challenge will run for the next 2 weeks!

The image on this card is Sunflowers for Hedgy.  This is the black & white version, but it is also available in a colored version.

I colored Sunflowers for Hedgy with Copic markers, then cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3, using a file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  The papers are from We Are 3.  They are the Crisp Autumn digital papers.

I hope you can join us the next 2 weeks at Di's Digi Designs Challenges for our "2 or more patterned papers" challenge.  I don't know about you, but I love to play with papers.  What better excuse do you need?

Happy -- Outlawz Sketch, Dragon's Lair Progressive Freebie

Ah, the weekend, and just a tad bit of free time to boot!  Yesterday was busy with errands and family commitments, but today I found enough time to color up a couple images and create cards with them.  One was for a DT project, but this one was just for fun!

I used this week's sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge, and the darling ballerina is this month's progressive freebie at the Dragon's Lair Facebook Group.  The designer papers and bottle cap embellishment are also from the Dragon's Lair.  They are being entered in a challenge, too.

I colored the darling ballerina with Copic markers.  I wouldn't normally make her leotard that color, but I wanted to match the papers.  As it turns out, I like it.  I think she's rather striking with her green leotard!  Happy, I would say!

The doily behind her is from Cheery Lynn.  All the papers and the 'Happy' bottle cap are from The Dragon's Lair Designs Etsy store, or the free download. The ribbon is by May Arts.

Just like this little ballerina, making this card made me very happy!

Come Sit in my Garden -- for Simply Crafty SVG's

Hello, my crafty friends.  I'm taking a break from cards today to invite you to come sit in my garden.  Well, figuratively, anyway.   There's still snow in my yard, so you might want to wait awhile!  But eventually, I have the perfect garden bench for you, and it's from Simply Crafty SVG's:

This Garden Bench will hold a small gift or gift card inside the bench.  It's perfect for Mother's Day or a spring or summer birthday.

I used some textured Kraft paper to make this Garden Bench so it would look like real wood.  My Silhouette wasn't real happy cutting through it, so I double cut everything.

The floral designer paper visible on the sides and in the front is from Close To My Heart.  Two of the butterflies are dies.  The big, bold one has been in my stash forever, and I think was originally a part of a card kit, as was the sentiment sticker.

This bench comes with a tutorial, which makes construction a breeze.  If you haven't tried any of the SVG files from Simply Crafty SVG's, you owe it to yourself to check out the store!  There are many freebies, and some wonderful products, including this awesome garden bench

Simply Delightful Christmas -- for Great Impressions Stamps

It's Friday, and almost the weekend.  Yea! It's also my day to post at Great Impressions Stamps.  Yea again!  This week, Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring the House of Cards Challenge Blog.
Here's the inspiration board for the challenge:

Using the board, I created this:

I used Great Impressions rubber stamps F620 - Joyful Harry and D453 - It's Christmas.  I colored F620 - Joyful Harry with Copic markers.  I stamped D453 - It's Christmas onto a premade Christmas tag from My Mind's Eye.

Designer papers for this card are from Imagine That! Digistamp.  The snowflake die behind the image is from Cheery Lynn designs.

A Golden Christmas -- for Great Impressions Stamps

Happy Friday, everyone!  I'm posting today for Great Impressions Stamps.  I like using red, green, and gold on Christmas cards.  With that in mind, I created this card...

This card uses several Great Impressions rubber stamps: J120 - Elegant Berry Branch and D511 - Merry.

I colored J120 - Elegant Berry Branch, then stamped D511 - Merry on the same paper.

I used some stitched edger dies by Simon Says Stamp on the bottom of the different paper layers.  Papers are from Echo Park -- the Deck the Halls 6x6 paper pad.  I made the gold snowflakes with glitter paper from Close To My Heart and Cheery Lynn dies.

A new challenge will be starting at Great Impressions Stamps challenge blog very soon.  I hope you join us in November for our Anything Goes Challenge!  If you use a Great Impressions Stamp, please link it up in the customer gallery.

Joy -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

October 1?  Really?  That means it's a new month, and it means we're ever closer to Christmas. I'm posting today for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  This month, our theme is 'Anything Goes.'  That means anyone is eligible for the prizes from our sponsors!

First the card, then more about our sponsors...

The image is from this month's sponsor, Crafty Sentiments Designs. It's called, Joy of Christmas and I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens on this.  The papers are from our other sponsor, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  They are from the Eclectic Christmas II set.

The snowflakes were cut out with dies from Cheery Lynn.  The Joy sentiment is from Close To My Heart.

You have all month to join us at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  Christmas is looming ever closer, so it's time to get going on those cards!
