Wishing You Joy -- A New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps

The 22nd of the month is the day I post some new release inspiration for All Dressed Up Stamps.  That is today!

I had the privilege of being able to create with the NR image, Bubbles, available in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop:

I colored Bubbles with Copic markers.  I stenciled a bubble background (by Taylored Expressions) onto the background paper.  I used a stitched circle die (Crafter's Companion) to cut out the Bubble image and mount it to the bubble background.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.  The butterfly die cut is probably my most used and loved die (Cheery Lynn).  I've had it for many years.  It was one of the first I purchased.

If you are looking for more New Release inspiration, try the ADU Facebook group, and the ADU Challenge blog

Happy Fall -- for Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at the Outlawz Paper ala Mode. We are sponsored this entire year by We Are 3 Digital Shop. One lucky person will get a gift certificate to the wonderful shop!

Our theme this next two weeks is 'Happy Fall'.  We want to see your Autumn projects.

I love Fall colors!  These papers and printables from We Are 3 Digital Shop are so beautiful! It was easy to put together an Autumn-themed card with them:

The papers are from the Pumpkin Delight papers. I used 4 different ones from the collection on this card.  The pumpkin printable is part of the Autumn Labels set. There are 4 in this set.  The sentiment is part of the Itty Bitty-Fall Sentiment Set

The doily behind the printable is by Cheery Lynn.  The pumpkin ephemera is a die from Yvonnes Creations.  The crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art

I hope you can join us at Paper ala Mode Challenges for our Happy Fall Challenge!

Dream of Dahlia -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  Our current challenge is just over 1/2 way complete.  The theme is Thanksgiving or Autumn or Fall or Autumn colors (red or green or orange or brown).

For my inspiration card today, I used the beautiful image, Dream of Dahlia, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut.

I created the card base with a Sunflower paper from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The stitched flower layer is a die from Diamond Press.  The Big Thanks sentiment is a die from Spellbinders.  The dragonfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.

I hope you check the Ching-Chou Kuik blog often. For another challenge, check out the CCK Facebook group. You'll find great inspiration there, too.

You're Doggone Amazing -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

August 1 -- and that means it's the start of a new challenge  in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  The challenge will run all month, and the theme is "Be Square". Easy peasy, right?  Grab your favorite All Dressed Up Stamps digi from the store, color it up, make it square, and join us!  You could win more incredible digis for the next challenge!

I have many favorite All Dressed Up Stamps images, and I'd be hard pressed to pick just one, but I think Play Day ranks right up there as one of those that makes me smile every time!

I colored Play Day with mostly Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, using just a few Copics.  I used a Spellbinders die to make the image a square.  I computer generated the sentiment and used another Spellbinders set to make the sentiment square.  The paw print paper is from AMB Illustrations.   The die cut paw print is from Cheery Lynn.  The twine is from my stash.

I hope you can join us this month for our 'Make it Square' challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  I'd love to see what you create!

For My (4-legged) Friend -- and The Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and we're starting a new challenge at The Paper ala Mode Challenge.  You'll find it all happening at The Outlawz Challenges, where there is a challenge every day of the week! The Paper ala Mode challenges run for 2 weeks and have a theme.  The theme for the next 2 weeks is 'Fur, Feathers, or Fins'.  Many of us are animal lovers, so I think this will be a popular  one! As always Bonnie Kohane, of We Are 3 Digital Shop is sponsoring the challenge.  Thank you, Bonnie!

My birthday is in July, and last year for my birthday, Bonnie made myself and the design team a set of papers and printables called Muddy Paws.  I cannot tell you how much I've enjoyed them, using them many times on many projects!  The team and I used them again for today's inspiration on the 'Fur, Feathers, and Fins' theme.

I cut out the Muddy Paws printable in the shape of a doghouse (die by Crafter's Companion).  It cuts into the face of the card.  There are also several Muddy Paws papers used on this card.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthday Sentiment Set.

The dog shaped die cuts are by Cheery Lynn designs.

The Outlawz has a new Ning platform, so if it is your first time on the new site, you'll need to log in.  It's very similar to the old site, but hopefully with less issues.  I hope you can join us this next two weeks at Paper ala Mode for the Fur, Feathers, and Fins challenge.  I'd love to see your creations, and Bonnie gives a wonderful gift certificate to one winner for the We Are 3 Digital Shop Store

Summer Friends -- For Dies R Us Challenges

July 1 -- These months go so fast, don't they?  July 1 means the start of a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  The requirements are easy peasy.  The theme is anything goes, and use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store.  They sell lots and lots of wonderful dies, so that's really easy to do!  Shop the Dies R Us Store and you'll see for yourself!

I have a few friends that live out of state and I try to send them cards every week or so.  I'm always in need of friendship cards.  So, when I saw this Crafter's Companion connecting word die, I knew I had to have it...

I cut the 'Friend' word die out of the middle of the 6x6 card, then put the green card behind it to add some stability.  I found the pretty floral paper in my stash, and it looked like summer to me, so I used it to add color to the panels of the card.  The dragonfly die is by Cheery Lynn.  I have used the small one here, which is no longer available, but the large dragonfly size is.

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks for our 'Anything Goes' with a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store challenge!  A gift certificate will be awarded, and 3 designer choice awards.

For those of you living in Canada, check out the Didi Crafts Store -- awesome products and great prizes on shipping!

Purple Dragonfly -- For Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog. I love my days to post there, because I so enjoy coloring up the beautiful images!  Our challenge theme this month is Things that Fly.  With that theme in mind, I found a beautiful image in the GJZCCK Etsy shop called Purple Dragonfly.

I colored Purple Dragonfly with Copic markers.  Those wings were so much fun to color!

That filigreed bordered frame is a die by Crafter's Companion.  The dragonfly is a die by Cheery Lynn (one of my favorites).

Check out the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog often to see what the other talented designers are up to. You'll find more inspiration and another challenge in the CCK Facebook group

A Special Gift Bag -- For Paper ala Mode

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at The Outlawz.  The Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge, that is! Our challenges are always sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop. The theme for the next 2 weeks is Gift Bags.  Oh, I like this theme!  I always enjoy making gift bags and gift boxes!

Since my mother-in-law's birthday is next week, I took advantage of this challenge to make her a gift bag.  This bag is just the right size to hold a couple pieces of chocolate -- just the right amount for a lady who says she's watching calories, but secretly likes to munch (just like her daughter-in-law).

I cut this bag out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. The designer paper on this bag is Watercolor Textures. I used 3 different designs from the set. The sentiment is from the For You Sentiment Set.

I cut the "For You" sentiment out on a tag by Spellbinders.  The butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks at the Paper ala Mode Challenges.  I'd love to see what you create with this theme, and you could win a gift certificate to Bonnie wonderful shop!

Blowing in the Wind -- For Ching Chou Kuik Digital Stamps

It's Tuesday, and it's my turn to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  I love my Tuesdays on the blog!   Our challenge continues here on the blog with the monthly theme of Magical World.  You'll find many magical fairies, mermaids, & other creatures in the GZKCCK Etsy Shop

For my inspiration card this week, I used the lovely Blowing in the Wind image to create this:

I used the black & white version of Blowing in the Wind, but there is also a partially colored version you should check out. I colored here with Copic markers.

The design team was given the challenge of using yellow &/or orange this week.  I totally lost sight of this while coloring the image, but tried to redeem myself with the papers and embellishments.  Thank goodness for the wonderful papers in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. I used the Butterfly Overlay from the Dreamy Creamy papers & printed in on a light blue paper.  I also used a piece of butterfly paper from the Summer Butterflies Collection.  I finished off the card with a Cheery Lynn small butterfly die, cut with orange paper.

Besides the challenge on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog, you'll find another challenge in the Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook Group. And, of course, you'll find great inspiration both places!

Pansy Pail Sympathy - for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges. Challenges run for a month, and they are always anything goes.

We're having a cool (OK, cold) spring, so I'm craving flowers and bright colors.  That made me want to color up one of the many beautiful floral images in Jan Mahew's Shop. I used the flower pot full of pansies from Springtime.

I colored the flower pot and pansies with Copic markers.  I cut it out with a stitched circle die by Crafter's Companion.  The doily die is from Anna Griffin.

The sentiment is from a different Jan Mahew set. It's part of the Botanical Orchids set

Papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are part of GranMargaret's Flowers

There are some great prizes that you could win for linking up at Jan's Digi Stamps challenges. There's a random gift certificate awarded, and another for a Jan Mahew image. There are also 3 designer choice awards given.

Here's my DT inspiration using Butterfly Kisses Girl...

I colored Butterfly Kisses Girl with Copic markers.  The designer papers are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Spring Butterflies and Spring Butterflies Too papers. The sentiment is also from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the You Know sentiments.  There are 4 in the set.  All of them are amazing.

Orchid Silhouette -- For SheepSki Designs Challenges

It's February first, and a new challenge is starting today over on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge will run for the month of February and has the theme of Romance &/or use Red.

There's nothing more romantic than flowers, right?  OK, maybe chocolate is more romantic, or a nice dinner out, or coming home to a clean house, but you get my drift.  Flowers are a symbol of romance.  So, I decided to create with the beautiful digital image, Mini Orchid Silhouette:

I printed the Mini Orchid Silhouette image onto a new paper in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Painted Strokes papers. Then, I used a die set by Sharon Callis to create the card. The silver butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn. The 'Love You' sentiment is from Spellbinders.

You'll find this pretty Mini Orchid Silhouette and many others that fit this month's theme of "Romance &/or Red" in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop.  Pick up a new favorite, and join us this month!  I'd love to see what you create!

With All My Love -- For Dies R Us Challenges

February -- the month of love!  February first -- the start of a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  Challenges start on the 1st and the 15th of the month.  They are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store. That's easy to do with all the brands sold in the Dies R Us Store

I wanted a card that centered around the theme of "Love" for my inspiration today.  Here's what I came up with:

The large sentiment die is from Tonic Studios.  It is not in stock, but you will find lots of different Love sentiments that would work for this.  The heart in the middle of the word 'Love' is from the Impression Obsession Hearts Set. I mounted the sentiment onto a Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. The Doily Hearts are from Cheery Lynn.  They are called the Two of Hearts Doily Dies.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Romantic Hearts collection

Blue Dragonfly for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Monday, so it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration Blog. This week, the inspiration team is using the theme pink &/or blue.  I decided to use both!

I found an awesome image in the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy Shop I wanted to color up.

Using Hello Dragonfly:

I colored Hello Dragonfly with Copic markers.  I concentrated on using pink and blue colors, with just a hint of blue violet.

The papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The pink flowered paper is one of the Darcy's Garden papers. The blueish background paper is from the Pastel Fantasy papers. Those pretty dies used to cut the papers are from Sharon Callis.  The dragonfly was cut out of foil paper and a Cheery Lynn die.

Butterfly & Fern Thank You -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

Today is a big day for me!  I am posting for the first time on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge and Inspiration Blog.  Yes, I made this awesome team!  I've long been a fan of Ching-Chou Kuik art, so I'm super excited about this!

The Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge theme this month is Remembrance or Thanksgiving (thanks).  With that theme in mind, I created this:

This card uses the beautiful Butterfly & Fern  image from the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy Store.  I don't often use watercolors, but I really enjoy it when I do.  For this card, I got out my Spectrum Noir watercolor pencils. There is also a gorgeous pre-colored version of Butterfly & Fern image available.

I cut out and backed the image with Spellbinders dies.  The lacy butterfly die is by Cheery Lynn.  The pretty fern paper is from AMB Illustrations, and the great burlap trim was purchased at Really Reasonably Ribbon.

Join us this month for our Remembrance/Thanksgiving Challenge at the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge and Inspiration Blog. You'll find inspiration on the blog everyday, and more great inspiration in the Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook Group

Christmas in July -- for Dies R Us Challenges

It's the 15th of the month, and that means a new challenge starts today on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. The theme is Christmas in July.  It's always good to get a jump on Christmas cards, right? RIGHT! All you need to do is use at least 1 die by a brand sold in the Dies R Us Store, and you are good to enter.

I found a beautiful die by Cheery Lynn in the Dies R Us Store called Elegant Evergreen Christmas Tree, and I just knew I wanted to use it on my cards this year:

I cut out the Elegant Evergreen Christmas Tree using a green foil paper.  Behind it is a doily that I just love by Prima Marketing.  It's very similar to this Lace Rose Doily in the Dies R Us Store. The gold star at the top of the tree is one of a nested set by Technique Tuesday, but it is similar to this set by Tutti Designs.

The designer papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I used 3 papers from the Christmas Fun papers

Christmas in July -- a very fun theme for the next 2 weeks!  I really hope you join us!  We give away a $10 gift certificate each challenge, plus some designer choice awards.  Come join us!

Dahlia Celebration -- for Dies R Us Challenge Blog

It's April 15.  Do you have your taxes done?  It was challenging for us this year, but it is accomplished.  It's April 15, which also means it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog. Challenges are every 1st and 15th of the month, and you must use at least 1 die that Dies R Us sells, plus follow the challenge theme.  Today's theme is "Spring Flowers".

Flowers are one of my favorite things of spring (that, and warmer temperatures), so I really liked this theme!

Birch Press Designs are some of my favorite dies, so I jumped at the chance to use one for today's challenge:

This card uses the Dahlia Mini Frame is layers A, B, and C.  I cut the Birch Press Designs Dahlia Mini Frame 4 times -- once to get the yellow center, then once for each layer.  The Celebrate word die is from Crafter's Companion. The butterfly is by Cheery Lynn.  It is one of a set of 3 and comes with an angel wing (used here).

Dies R Us supplies used on this card:

I hope you join us this next 2 weeks for our Spring Flowers Challenge.  You could be the winner of the $10 gift certificate, or a top 3 award.
We have some exciting news to share with you.  .Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts

It will ship to both the US and Canada.  Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different.  Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!

Sending Woof's of Christmas Wishes -- New Releases from All Dressed Up Stamps

It's the 22nd of the month, and new releases are being showcased for this month's All Dressed Up Stamps in the Facebook Group Today.  there are 4 new releases, and I managed to color up 2 of them to showcase today.  This is a milestone event for me!  I had a mild stroke several weeks ago, and this is the first coloring I've shared since it happened.  The stroke effected the right side of my body more than my left side, and I'm left handed, so coloring doesn't go too badly, but card construction is a struggle, and writing blog posts makes my brain HURT!!  I literally take a nap after I get it done. It is such a struggle for me!

But, on to the 2 new releases I have to share with you. All the new releases can be found in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

The first is Woof Christmas-- perfect for my dog-loving friends!

I colored Woof Christmas with Copic markers.  The paw print border is a die from Frantic Stampers.  The bone die came in a set from Cheery Lynn.  Both sets were purchased from Dies R Us.  The  paw print paper is a digital paper form Echo Park. The sentiment is part of the Woof Christmas digi.

Card #2 uses new release, Christmas Skater.  I think this will be a favorite of this release.  I love her elegant lines!

I colored Christmas Skater with Copic markers, then found that perfect sentiment in a Christmas stamp set I've had for a long time. The edger dies are from Spellbinders.  The Snowflake dies are from Lawn Fawn.  The Background looking glitter paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the papers in the Christmas Magic Set.

Either of these images would work well for this month's All Dressed Up Facebook challenge -- Christmas is Coming.  Why not grab them (you know you want them!), color them up, and join us in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group!

Autumn Wheelbarrow -- for Scrapy Land Challenges

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's challenge time on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store.  Nearly 50 brands of dies are sold in the Scrapy Land Store, so this is easy to do!

It is officially Fall, and it has felt like Fall for quite some time where I live, so I got out some Autumn dies and fall colored papers for today's card.  I love the colors of Fall!

The focal point of the card, the Autumn Wheelbarrow, is a Tutti Designs die.  I love how delicate and scrolled it is when cut out!  The white doily behind the Autumn Wheelbarrow  is from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It is called French Pastry.   The pumpkins and leaves are all from the same set.  They are from Yvonne Creations, and are the Fabulous Fall, Autumn Leaves.  The grass is part of a large set of dies from Creative Expressions. It is called Stitched Collection - Garden Critters.  There are many grass borders, if you search in the Scrapy Land store.  My search provided me with 41 possibilities.  The card base was cut out from a die.  It is from Card Deco

I stamped the sentiment on to the doily.  It is a stamp from Joy's Life Stamps.  The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Fall Inspiration collection.

Please try to join us at Scrapy Land Challenges!  Make a project with any brand die sold in the Scrapy Land Store and link up!  You could be the winner of a $15 gift certificate!

Never Stop Exploring - for the Path of Positivity and Bugaboo

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Bugaboo Stamps is one of our sponsors this month, and I'm on the Bugaboo design team, so I'm doubling up and posting this on the Catch the Bug blog also.
We're also sponsored by Scribbles Designs each month, with a chance to win a gift certificate from them each month, just for following our theme and linking up.

Speaking of themes, they are optional.  This month's optional theme is "curiosity".  You can follow that theme, or link up any positive themed project you'd like.

Bugaboo Stamps has a stamp for anything you can imagine.  Even curiosity!

Since school started late last week in the small town where I live, I made a bookmark with this cute, cute image.  This is Bugaboo Stamps digi, Knobby Knees Girl Bugs, colored with Copic markers.

I used a few different dies to make this bookmark.  The largest tag die is from Paper Wishes.  The smaller tag, including the piece where the computer generated sentiment is, was purchased in the Dies R Us Store are by Creative Expressions.  The pretty dragonfly die is from Cheery Lynn. I used a foil stamp and foil machine to create the background on the large tag.

It's Anything But a Card day today at Catch the Bug. Check out what the other Bugaboo Stamps designer created today.

Join us this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our optional themed curiosity challenge.  I'd love to see what you make!
