It's Friday, and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. There is a new challenge every Friday, with rotating teams. It is my week to post, and I had the great fun of working with an image from Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps.
This is Winter Cuddle:
I colored Winter Cuddle with Copic markers. It's not my best job of coloring, but I'm trying not to shy away from my darkest marker shades.
Once I got Winter Cuddle colored up, I used 2 sizes of a Spellbinders die set to cut her out and back her. The snowflake paper is from Close To My Heart. I no longer know who makes the beautiful snowflake border die. It's been in my collection for quite some time.
The Colour Crazy Challenge Blog -- challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you hand color your image. You can use any coloring medium you want. We have great sponsors, so you can win great prizes! Come link up with us this week.
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

Boo! for Scribbles Designs
It's the 23rd of the month, and it's the day I leave a bit of inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.
I've been working hard to get enough Halloween cards made for the residents I visit in the nursing home where I volunteer. I took advantage of this adorable #f97 pumpkin (free) that I found in the Scribbles Designs Store to create another Halloween Card:
I colored #F97 Pumpkin with Copic markers, then fussy cut it. The die cuts are all from Spellbinders. The papers are from Close To My Heart.
Check out what the other Scribbles Designs team members created today! You won't be disappointed!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Crafting Happiness Challenge -- Halloween Colors
Double Trouble Challenge -- Batty Color
Addicted to Stamps Challenge -- add a pumpkin
D.L. Art -- October Linky Party

I'm Nuts About Books! for Bugaboo Stamps
I used Nuts About - Books, colored him up with Copic markers, then fussy cut him out.
I found the fun books paper at Pixel Scrapper. The sentiment is my own, and was computer generated. The fibers are retired, from Close To My Heart. All the die cuts on this project are dies from Paper Wishes.
There will be other significantly {humorous} days that the Bugaboo Stamps design team honors on the Catch the Bug Blog. Please take a look to pay homage!

You are Strong! for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog
It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration over at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The optional twist this month is "courage", or you can link up anything you create with a positive theme.
Every month, our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs. I found an awesome, free sentiment in the Scribbles Designs Store that I used as the focal point of my card:
I printed the sentiment large and bold onto white card stock, then began inking. I used a few pink shades of ink from my Spectrum Noir Harmony ink pads. I love the way they blend! I found the wonderful pink ribbon designer paper in the Imagine That Digistamp Store. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the very old brad is from Close To My Heart.
We are also sponsored this month from Beccy's Place. Link up your projects to be eligible to win a gift certificate from her store! You have until Nov. 3.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- October Linky Party
Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode -- Pink Ribbon
CAS on Friday -- Big sentiment or word
Craft Rocket Challenge -- Pink
Unicorn Challenge -- Pretty in Pink

Spooooky! for Bugaboo Stamps
It's Saturday, and there is a bingo challenge happening at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog that starts today and runs for a week. I've been working hard on getting Halloween cards made for the nursing home residents where I volunteer. I took advantage of today's challenge and post to make another one. I'll show you the card first, then the bingo card and what I used, and of course, link up the awesome image from the Bugaboo Stamps Store.
This card uses Halloween Peeker Ghost, colored with Copic markers.
Here's the bingo challenge going on this week at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog:
I used the bottom row: 3 layers, orange, and ribbon.
Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart. The Spooky sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios. I just got it, and I think it is so cute! The spider web ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a past sketch from Sketch Saturday to jump start my creativity on this one.
I hope you join us this week at Catch the Bug Challenges. There are lots of possibilities with the October Bugaboo Bingo challenge! Come link up!!
I'm honored to enter this in the following challenges:
The Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- Fall/Halloween
D.L. Art Thankful Thursday -- Fall

It's a Jeep Kind of Day! for We Are 3 Digital Shop
Hello, crafty friends! Today is my husband's birthday, and I'm sharing the card I made for his big day. He bought a new Jeep a couple months ago, and he is enthralled with it. He doesn't love it more than he loves our dog, Winter, but he may love it more than he does his wife!
Bonnie, the owner of We Are 3 Digital Shop, recently designed this Jeep, with many different views and options for coloring or partially colored, and I decided it would be perfect for my husband's birthday card.
Here's what I created with one of the Jeep images:
I used the partially colored Jeep image, added orange (the color of my husband's Jeep), and also colored the windshield and lights. Once I got done coloring the Jeep, I fussy cut it. Then, I used papers from the Cute Halloween papers in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. These papers are definitely not just for Halloween! I stamped the sentiment, cut out both the stitched ovals with dies from Cottage Cutz, added the bronze studs (retired from Close To My Heart), and my husband's birthday card is ready for his special day!
Check out the We Are 3 Digital Shop for papers, sentiments, and darling images, too. You'll find something for whatever you're looking for (and maybe a few things you didn't even realize you needed!!)
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Best Witches -- the Outlawz Monthly Progressive Freebie Challenge
Hello, and happy Tuesday. I've been entering the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenges each month. This month I got it done with 1/2 the month to spare. Hurray for me! This month's progressive freebie image was provided to the participants by Polkadoodles. She's a real sweetie! She is part of a collection from Winnie Wednesday.
I colored the Winnie Wednesday image with Copic markers. I cut out the spider web background with a cutting die from Queen & Company. The Best Wishes sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios. The wonky stitched oval die is by The Scrapping Cottage.
Winnie Wednesday is looking fairly intense. I'm not sure if she's going to wish you a Happy Halloween or cast a spell. Better beware!

Spooky Halloween Tree -- Stella Says Sketch at Bugaboo Stamps
It's Sunday, and it's a Stella Says Sketch day on the Catch the Bug Blog. Stella's got a great sketch for us to work with today!
First, I'll show you my card, then I'll show you the sketch.
I used a digital stamp from the Bugaboo Stamps Store called Halloween Pumpkin Tree to create this:
And here's the sketch:
The Halloween Pumpkin Tree was printed on a white piece of paper, and was then inked with Spectrum Noir Harmony ink pads. They blend beautifully!
The fun paper on the left side of the card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's one of the Halloween papers (currently 50% off!).
The spider web die cuts and the "boo!" sentiment are dies from Spellbinders. The silver foil trim is from Close To My Heart.
Stella Says Sketch is very other Sunday at the Catch the Bug Blog, so you have 2 weeks to use this fun sketch and link up with us.

Autumn Wheelbarrow -- for Scrapy Land Challenges
It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's challenge time on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store. Nearly 50 brands of dies are sold in the Scrapy Land Store, so this is easy to do!
It is officially Fall, and it has felt like Fall for quite some time where I live, so I got out some Autumn dies and fall colored papers for today's card. I love the colors of Fall!
The focal point of the card, the Autumn Wheelbarrow, is a Tutti Designs die. I love how delicate and scrolled it is when cut out! The white doily behind the Autumn Wheelbarrow is from Cheery Lynn Designs. It is called French Pastry. The pumpkins and leaves are all from the same set. They are from Yvonne Creations, and are the Fabulous Fall, Autumn Leaves. The grass is part of a large set of dies from Creative Expressions. It is called Stitched Collection - Garden Critters. There are many grass borders, if you search in the Scrapy Land store. My search provided me with 41 possibilities. The card base was cut out from a die. It is from Card Deco.
I stamped the sentiment on to the doily. It is a stamp from Joy's Life Stamps. The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are the Fall Inspiration collection.
Please try to join us at Scrapy Land Challenges! Make a project with any brand die sold in the Scrapy Land Store and link up! You could be the winner of a $15 gift certificate!

Ho Ho Ho -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up
It's October 1st (Yikes!), and that means we're one month closer to Christmas, and one month closer to needing those Christmas cards made! It also means it's time for a new linky party at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. This month's optional theme is Sensational Santas. Our sponsor is Limited Runs. Keep in mind, though, you don't need to follow the twist to win a paper, or the $10 gift certificate from our sponsor. To be eligible to win this month's featured paper pack, you do need to follow the Sensational Santa theme, displaying a Santa somewhere on your card. The digital papers are made each month by the lovely Lisa Decosse of Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.
I used Limited Run's digital image, Mini Santa, to create this:
I colored the Mini Santa with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out. I used two different papers from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. Both the Santa and the plaid papers are Lisa's.
I used a sketch from the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge to help me create this card. Here's the sketch:
The Ho Ho Ho sentiment is a die from Creative Expressions, purchased through the Dies R Us Store. The decorative brads are retired, from Close To My Heart. The stitched oval dies are from Cottage Cutz.
Remember to link up any Christmas cards you make this month at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. Link up one with a Santa theme to be eligible for this month's paper pack. Link up any card and you might win the awesome prize from Limited Runs!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

A Latte Birthday Wishes -- the Outlawz Progressive Freebie
Every month, I try to participate in the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge. This month, Kristy Breach, of Imagine That Digistamp provided the freebie. Not only did she provide everyone with a darling image called Lorie's Mocha for all Seasons, she also provided us with fun coffee sentiments.
I took the easy way out this month, and used one of the cute coffee sentiments, also making a gift tag holder for a friend. This friend celebrated her 60th birthday yesterday. She has 4 Labradors, and is training another one to be a service dog for a family with an autistic child. She has a huge heart, and loves her Labrador Retrievers. This gift tag holder was a hit:
I found this Labrador gift tag holder file in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo 3. The paw print paper is from AMB Illustrations. You can see the cute sentiment I used, from the Coffee Sentiments. I cut out the tag with a die from Close To My Heart. The black ribbon is from my stash.

You Are Fabulous! for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog
I'm posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. It means that I had a chance to play with some really fun dies and paper supplies found in the Dies R Us Store! The Dies R Us Store has so many different manufacturer's dies for sale in it, and one that they have all the time now is Birch Press Design. I am in love with these dies!!
Here's what I created using the 4 layers of the Regal Peacock die set:
Here's a picture of the supplies I used on this card. Along with the Regal Peacock die set from Birch Press Design, I also used a 'Fabulous' word die from Frantic Stamper, and a Birch Press Design stamp set called, "Just Because" (ordered during a special pre-sale event).
I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what colors I thought I would use, then ended up changing my mind as I went along. This picture shows what the dies look like, and what I thought I was going to use for the layers. They ended up being a bit different than this in the end:
Here are the pieces once they've been die cut. I have several pieces with different color options because I still wasn't sure which would look best with the background paper I had in mind:
Once I had them die cut, it was time to assemble that glorious peacock tail. I used Scraperfect Best Glue Ever for all the layers except the top layer. For that layer, I used Stick It Adhesive Sheets.
Here's the peacock (still unsure of body color):
I wanted to add the words "You are" to the "Fabulous" sentiment. So, I only needed the first 2 words of the sentiment stamp I was using. I could have cut the stamp apart, but decided to mask it instead. Here, you can see I covered the portion of the stamp I didn't want to use with tape. Once I inked the stamp, I removed the tape, and could then stamp just the two words I wanted:
In the end, I thought the dark bodied peacock had the most contrast against the paper I used, so that's the one I used. It took me a long time to decide!

Hello, Bear -- for SheepSki Designs
SheepSki Designs is sponsoring this weekend's event at Kit & Clowder's Facebook Group. If you visit the Kit & Clowder group and follow the instructions, you can get this image for free. Color it up and join in the fun!
This free (for this weekend) image is Panda/Bear (image #161). I chose to color mine like a young Kodiak bear, though he doesn't look very fierce!
I colored Panda/Bear with Copic markers, then fussy cut it. I got the texture in his fur using a colorless blender.
The double stitched squares are cutting dies from The Scrapping Cottage. The 'Hello' sentiment is a cutting die from Crafter's Companion.
The papers on this card are some very old Close To My Heart papers.
Come join the fun and get the freebie from SheepSki Designs. Check out Andrea's Etsy Shop here. You'll find challenges for SheepSki Designs images on the Challenge blog here, and in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group, too.

You are Fabulous, Girl! Catch the Bug and Sketch Saturday Challenges
I'm doubling up on my posting today. Normally, this would be my Sketch Saturday post, but Bugaboo Stamps is the sponsor, and the challenge starting today at Catch the Bug is Anything Goes, so I thought I might as well support the Bugaboo team at the same time. So, one card, 2 challenges. Win, win!
I'll start by showing you my card, then show you the fun and easy sketch this week at Sketch Saturday. I really, really liked working with this one, and know I will use it often!
Isn't she fabulous? I'll show you the sketch, then tell you all about the digi at Bugaboo Stamps and where to find her.
Here's this week's sketch at Sketch Saturday:
Claire has the best sketches! This one is a keeper, for sure!
Now, for the Bugaboo Stamps deets. This digi is Fashion Girlz 001. I think she is so darn adorable!!!
I colored Fashion Girlz 001 with Copic markers, then obviously used the sketch to build the card. Next, I had to find papers. My source for that is almost always We Are 3 Digital Shop. I can find papers for whatever I need, all in Bonnie's Etsy Shop. The fun designer papers on this card are from the Howdy Paper Collection.
The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a word cutting die from Crafter's Companion. The banner is a die from Diamond Press. The heart is a die from Spellbinders. The last thing I added were the enamel dots, from Close To My Heart.
And, that, blog readers, is a wrap! Thanks for visiting today!
Check out what the other design team members created using this sketch at Sketch Saturday, and visit the Catch the Bug Blog for inspiration, then to enter this week's Anything Goes Challenge! Don't forget to pick up yesterday's Friday Freebie. It's available just for this week in the Bugaboo Store!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- September Linky Party
Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- Layers
Creative Moments -- optional theme, Lovely Ladies
The Paper Shelter -- Dress it Up
Watercolor Wednesday -- Feminine
Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode -- Hobbies (shopping)

Lucky I Have You -- for Scrapy Land Challenges
It's the first Wednesday in September, and we're starting a new challenge today over at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. We've started switching things up a bit, and we're now giving away one $15 gift certificate chosen by Random.org. The design team chooses top 3 and honorable mentions.
Dies can add that decorative touch to a card that takes it from "that's nice" to "oh, my!" That's what happened with today's card. I used 3 stitched border dies found in the Scrapy Land Store, and it added that "wow" factor to my card:
I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, using 3 different dies on 3 different designer papers. I colored my image first, found papers that matched my coloring, then picked the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Border Dies to match the papers and image. I really liked the way it "spiced up" the card.
The papers on the card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart, and the pearls are from my stash. Oh, and the cute image is from Polkadoodles, colored with Copic markers.
Scrapy Land products used on this card:
I hope you are able to join us at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Our challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a die found in the Scrapy Land Store. Scrapy Land sells many brands of dies, so chances are, you already own one! Make something and link up! I'd love to see what you create!

Love You Giraffe -- for Colour Crazy Challenges
It's Friday, and it's time for a new challenge at Colour Crazy Challenges. This week, our sponsor is Oddball Art Stamp Company.
Here's my design team inspiration:
I colored up Kawaii Valentine Giraffe with Copic markers, using various shades of yellows and browns.
I found the fun giraffe print paper at Imagine That Digistamp. She has some really great papers, including animal prints. The heart bow is a die, but I have had it for a long time, and don't know who's it is. Spellbinders, maybe. I used an unbranded die for the border on the right of each paper.
That's it for this card. Please link up whatever you color over at the Color Crazy Challenge. I'd love to see what you create!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art - August Linky Party
Brown Sugar Challenge --ATG
August Oddball Challenge--Sweet or Sour (this guy is definitely sweet!)
Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- ATG

Thank You Heart Card
I'm posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration blog. I love it when I have a chance to create with dies as the focus. It gives me a chance to stretch my creative wings a bit.
Do you ever take advantage of the pre-orders and specials offered through the Dies R Us Store? There are some awesome things to take advantage of! I recently discovered Birch Press Designs during one of these pre-order events. These dies are awesome! Be watching for them!
I used all 3 layers of the Birch Press Designs Amour Arch to create this:
I used 3 different shades of pink -- a light pink, mauve, and eggplant to create the layered arch. I was concerned it might be difficult to line up, but I lined up the 2 small hearts on the outside, and that lined up the whole thing. It was really easy! I glued all the layers together using Scraperfect Best Glue Ever and the medium No Clog Writing Cap.
The sentiment I used is by Crafter's Companion, but is similar to this one, by Poppy Stamps. I like the look of sentiments that are die cut, then have a shadow layer behind them. I used Stick It Adhesive Sheets on the sentiment and the layer behind it.
I added some Liquid Pearls to the card for a little more Bling. Dies R Us carries many great colors of Liquid Pearls. The ones on this care are White Opal.
Here's a picture of all the supplies I used. You can see what the package of the Birch Press Amour Arch dies look like.
Here's all the die cuts once they are cut out, but not yet assembled:

RAWR!!!!! for Sketch Saturday
It's Saturday, and that means it's time for a new sketch at Sketch Saturday. Every Saturday, a new sketch to give your creativity a boost.
Our sponsor this week is Polkadoodles. I used an image and papers from the Sticks & Bones Collection.
First the card, then the sketch:
sketch:
You can see I followed the sketch fairly closely, except I moved the arrow to the upper left, and the sentiment is within the inner rectangle.
I colored the woolly mammoth with Copic markers. Who really knows what color they were, right? They've been extinct for so long, they could {possible} have been pink? I'm the artist, and I say pink! I cute the letters out with dies from Spellbinders, and the wood arrow is from Close To My Heart (retired).
I hope you like this sketch, and join us this week at Sketch Saturday. I'd love to see what you do with it!

Back to School -- for Scribbles Designs
It's the 23rd of the month, and it's the day I leave some inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog. School is starting on Monday in the small town where I live, and everywhere I go, the talk is about "back to school." With that in mind, I created this card:
This is is looooooong. It fits in a business sized envelope. It measures 4 x 8.5 inches.
The cute fish were created using the #F88 Bubbles. It is a free image in the Scribbles Designs Store. I first placed Bubbles in my photo editing software so I could flip it 180 degrees. Then, I placed Bubbles in my documents program so I could copy and re-size the fish to make the "school", and adding the sentiment. Once I got things sized the way I wanted, all that was left was coloring the school of Bubbles with Copic markers.
I found the orange and green papers I was looking for in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Orange Retro papers and the Distressed Burlap papers.
I cut the card base and the fish elements out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with files I found in the Silhouette Design Store.
I hope you find time to visit the Scribbles Designs Blog. You'll find more inspiration there, along with fun challenges each month. Then, visit the Scribbles Designs Store for great digis, including this freebie!
