It's Saturday, and that means there's a new challenge starting on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog. This week the theme is a favorite -- Anything Goes!
I am often in need of thank you cards, so I took advantage of the anything goes theme and made one for today's challenge. This card uses Thank You Flower:
I colored Thank You Flower with Copic markers. It's a very quick color and you're on to creating the card.
Papers on the card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are part of the Miss Daisy Collection.
I used dies from Queen & Company to cut out the Thank You Flower, back it, cut out the scalloped base, and the scalloped border piece. The 1/2 back pearls are from Crafter's Companion.
I hope you join us this week at Catch the Bug Challenges. Jodie offers the most generous prizes, and with the Anything Goes Theme, it's easy to link up!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- November Linky Party
A Gem of a challenge -- ATG
Just Us Girls -- Thanks
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

One Card Panel, 3 Cards -- for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog
I'm pleased to be posting today for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. I had a great time with today's post!
I've been playing with a card panel die, and I want to show you what I've come up with! One panel, 3 looks!
The die is a Diagonal Striped Card Panel Die from Frantic Stamper. There's lots you can do with this!
The first card I created was a Christmas card:
I'll tell you more about it in a bit, but first, a photo of all the supplies used in today's projects:
All the die cut pieces for the first card look like this:

Once it was die cut, it was easy to put together. I used Stick It Adhesive for small die cuts and the Best Glue Ever for everything else.
Card 2 is a thank you card. In this one, the card is a landscape card, and I cut out a square to go behind the diagonal panel. Here are all the parts of the card after they are die cut, but before they are put together:
Here's the assembled Thank You card:
The final card is a sympathy card. I went back to the original orientation with this one. Here are all the pieces die cut:
Here's the last card, assembled:
I'll give you links for all the wonderful dies and products I used on these cards, found in the Dies R Us Store:
I also used dies from Crafter's Companion, Sizzix, and Memory Box.
I hope you enjoyed your visit and that I was able to inspire you to use your dies, create a project, and come play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for your chance to win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store. A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of every month. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Beret Girl -- a New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps
It's the 22nd of the month, and that's one of the days each month that New Releases are showcased at All Dressed Up Stamps. You'll find these new releases (and all Wendy's wonderful are!) in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop. You'll find DT inspiration in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group and on the All Dressed Up Blog.
I present to you the wonderful New Release, Beret Girl:
Oh my gosh! I'm all a-swoony over this one! Isn't she the cutest? She truly is fabulous! It is the only word I could think of to use with her!
I colored her with Copic markers. I set out to use Fall colors, so I could use some fall papers with her, but she wanted to be pastel. When you are as pretty as Beret Girl, you easily get your way!
The designer papers on this tag are digital. I found them at Pixel Scrapper. The 2 tags were cut out with dies from Paper Wishes. The 'Fabulous' is a die from Crafter's Companion. The paper flowers are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Beret Girl is one of 4 new releases, so check out the sources I named above to see the other inspiration for the other 3 new releases. They, too, are fabulous!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- September Linky Party
Pink Gem Challenge -- ATG
AUD Sentiments -- ATG plus a sentiment
Crafting with an Attitude --ATG
Outlawz Twisted Thursday -- rounding the corners (on the tags)

Hello, Bear -- for SheepSki Designs
SheepSki Designs is sponsoring this weekend's event at Kit & Clowder's Facebook Group. If you visit the Kit & Clowder group and follow the instructions, you can get this image for free. Color it up and join in the fun!
This free (for this weekend) image is Panda/Bear (image #161). I chose to color mine like a young Kodiak bear, though he doesn't look very fierce!
I colored Panda/Bear with Copic markers, then fussy cut it. I got the texture in his fur using a colorless blender.
The double stitched squares are cutting dies from The Scrapping Cottage. The 'Hello' sentiment is a cutting die from Crafter's Companion.
The papers on this card are some very old Close To My Heart papers.
Come join the fun and get the freebie from SheepSki Designs. Check out Andrea's Etsy Shop here. You'll find challenges for SheepSki Designs images on the Challenge blog here, and in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group, too.

Celebration Puppy -- Rediscovering Cottage Cutz
I had some spare time this afternoon, and my order from The Scrapping Cottage arrived, so I just had to play! I discovered a 60% off sale going on, and took advantage, picking up quite a few things I "had" to have. I quickly broke two of my favorites out of their packaging and made this card for a friend's upcoming birthday:
Oh my gosh! That puppy with the leash makes me smile! He is so like my dog, Winter, it is uncanny!
The adorable puppy is Good Boy Puppy. The sentiment is also from The Scrapping Cottage. It is Celebrate. I really like the script on this particular word die! I certainly didn't need another word die, but I'm so glad I purchased it. And yes, I DID need the Good Boy Puppy! Life is much better with this die in my arsenal!
I made the background using a stencil, 2 different Spectrum Noir inks, and a fine liner pen. I blended the inks together with the hexagonal stencil over 1/2 of the paper, then traced around the stencil with a pen. I carefully removed the stencil and the tape that was holding it in place, and my background was ready.
The Outlawz Sunday Songs & Rhymes Challenge for the past 2 weeks theme has been "Walking the Dog". I am finally able to enter that challenge with this card. I will look for some more to enter it in, too:

You are Fabulous, Girl! Catch the Bug and Sketch Saturday Challenges
I'm doubling up on my posting today. Normally, this would be my Sketch Saturday post, but Bugaboo Stamps is the sponsor, and the challenge starting today at Catch the Bug is Anything Goes, so I thought I might as well support the Bugaboo team at the same time. So, one card, 2 challenges. Win, win!
I'll start by showing you my card, then show you the fun and easy sketch this week at Sketch Saturday. I really, really liked working with this one, and know I will use it often!
Isn't she fabulous? I'll show you the sketch, then tell you all about the digi at Bugaboo Stamps and where to find her.
Here's this week's sketch at Sketch Saturday:
Claire has the best sketches! This one is a keeper, for sure!
Now, for the Bugaboo Stamps deets. This digi is Fashion Girlz 001. I think she is so darn adorable!!!
I colored Fashion Girlz 001 with Copic markers, then obviously used the sketch to build the card. Next, I had to find papers. My source for that is almost always We Are 3 Digital Shop. I can find papers for whatever I need, all in Bonnie's Etsy Shop. The fun designer papers on this card are from the Howdy Paper Collection.
The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a word cutting die from Crafter's Companion. The banner is a die from Diamond Press. The heart is a die from Spellbinders. The last thing I added were the enamel dots, from Close To My Heart.
And, that, blog readers, is a wrap! Thanks for visiting today!
Check out what the other design team members created using this sketch at Sketch Saturday, and visit the Catch the Bug Blog for inspiration, then to enter this week's Anything Goes Challenge! Don't forget to pick up yesterday's Friday Freebie. It's available just for this week in the Bugaboo Store!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- September Linky Party
Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- Layers
Creative Moments -- optional theme, Lovely Ladies
The Paper Shelter -- Dress it Up
Watercolor Wednesday -- Feminine
Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode -- Hobbies (shopping)

Thank You Heart Card
I'm posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration blog. I love it when I have a chance to create with dies as the focus. It gives me a chance to stretch my creative wings a bit.
Do you ever take advantage of the pre-orders and specials offered through the Dies R Us Store? There are some awesome things to take advantage of! I recently discovered Birch Press Designs during one of these pre-order events. These dies are awesome! Be watching for them!
I used all 3 layers of the Birch Press Designs Amour Arch to create this:
I used 3 different shades of pink -- a light pink, mauve, and eggplant to create the layered arch. I was concerned it might be difficult to line up, but I lined up the 2 small hearts on the outside, and that lined up the whole thing. It was really easy! I glued all the layers together using Scraperfect Best Glue Ever and the medium No Clog Writing Cap.
The sentiment I used is by Crafter's Companion, but is similar to this one, by Poppy Stamps. I like the look of sentiments that are die cut, then have a shadow layer behind them. I used Stick It Adhesive Sheets on the sentiment and the layer behind it.
I added some Liquid Pearls to the card for a little more Bling. Dies R Us carries many great colors of Liquid Pearls. The ones on this care are White Opal.
Here's a picture of all the supplies I used. You can see what the package of the Birch Press Amour Arch dies look like.
Here's all the die cuts once they are cut out, but not yet assembled:

Fabulous Summer! All Dressed Up Stamps New Releases
It's the 22nd of the month, and that's the day that this month's new releases from All Dressed Up Stamps are featured in the All Dressed Up Facebook group. I had a little spare time this month, and a couple of our members are on leave, so I colored up 2 images for today's New Release.
This first card uses the New Release digital stamp, Wild About Flowers:
I colored Wild About Flowers with Copic markers, then used new release papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The background papers on this card are from the Floral Burst papers. The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a die cut from Crafter's Companion.
This 2nd card uses the New Release digital, Popsicle Girl:

Fabulous Oriental Girl -- for Colour Crazy Challenges
It's Friday, and that means there's a new challenge at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. It's Team D's turn, so I'm up! Our sponsor this week is All Dressed Up Stamps. Since I'm on their design team, you already know how much I enjoy coloring up Wendy's wonderful artwork!
I was able to work with the beautiful Oriental Girl digi to create this:
I struggle with coloring black hair, so generally stay away from images where I have to color it, but we don't improve if we don't challenge ourselves. Since this is a coloring challenge, I decided to do just that. Her hair isn't perfect, but I'm satisfied with the results, and will try it again without too much fear and trepidation!
Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. That pretty background paper is from the Spring Letters paper collection. The framed paper around the pretty Oriental Girl is from the Tea Time collection.
The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a die cut from Crafter's Companion, and the crinkle ribbon is from my stash.

Make A Wish -- for We Are 3 Digital Shop
Greetings, fellow crafters! I'm sharing a card I made today when I applied for the Lavinia World design team. I thought I'd share the card today and enter it in some challenges. (Stamps on this card are NOT from Lavinia World).
I used a Crafter's Companion Stamp and Spectrum Noir inks on this card. I used a couple different shades and blended the stamped panel out:
Papers are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the May New Release. There is a piece from the Floral Burst Collection (pink embossed), and a piece from Frame It ( white with magenta dots).
I cut the circle out with a stitched die from Lawn Fawn. The dragonfly was hidden away in my stash.
I DID make the Lavinia World design team, hopefully, partially because of this card, and the first challenge starts on May 23! Check out the Lavinia World Challenge Blog for details and join us!
Onward to some challenges:

My Prince? A Sasayaki Glitter New Release
It's New Release day today at Sasayaki Glitter. You can find the new releases in the Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Shop, but you'll see all the inspiration for the new releases on the Sasayaki Glitter blog and in the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook Group. Tons of great stuff to see!
There are 3 New Releases today, but I colored up My Prince:
I don't know. I don't think that frog is too happy about that kiss, do you? Oh well, I do hope he turns out to be her prince, or it will be a disappointment for both of them!
I colored My Prince with Copic markers. The papers on this card came with a magazine, and are from Crafter's Companion.
The hearts die behind this image is, I believe, from Simon Says Stamp. I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out with a label die from Paper Wishes.
Make sure you check out all of today's New Releases at: Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Shop, Sasayaki Glitter blog, and the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook Group!
Here's clipart of all 3 of the new releases today. Aren't they wonderful?
You can find all of them at the Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Shop.

Sharing at Christmas -- a New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps
Today, this month's New Releases are being showcased at All Dressed Up Stamps. There are several new releases, but I had the awesome, fun experience of being able to color up Sharing At Christmas.
Isn't this the sweetest?
I colored up Sharing at Christmas with Copic markers. The sentiment was computer generated. I used a variety of heart shaped dies to cut out the Sharing at Christmas image and to make the heart shaped card.
Papers on this card are by Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez. The silver snowflakes are a variety of cutting dies. I believe they are from Lawn Fawn and Crafter's Companion.
You can see all of this month's new releases by visiting the All Dressed Up blog and the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. Snap up your favorites, then join in on the challenges! I'd love to see your creations!

Follow Your Heart -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog
It's the first Monday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. We've had optional color themes all year long, and we're winding it up this month with Metallics, Foils, and Glitters. Our sponsor for both the start and mid-challenge is Sparkle 'N Sprinkle.
I do a lot of coloring, so it's fun to feature a sentiment occasionally. That's what I did on today's card. This uses the Sentiment set, Happiness Greetings. I used one of the sentiments in the set to create this:
I have a new hot foil machine by Crafter's Companion, and I used it, along with a hot foil stamp, to create the background of this card. I used silver foil paper behind the sentiment, then some pink glitter paper to cut out the heart. I figured that would do well for our "Metallics, Foil, and Glitter" optional themed challenge.
I hope you find time to join us during this busy month of December. When you have that glitter and foil out, link it up at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog!

You're the Best! for Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog
I made a fancy fold card I've long admired, but never attempted before, It's a twisted easel card, using the darling Mouse With Love:
I colored Mouse With Love with Copic markers, then used a couple of circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts to cut it out and back it. The papers on this card are from Crafter's Companion, as is the sentiment stamp.
And there you have my first twisted easel card. I hope you come up with your own fancy fold card, and find time to enter it in our challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges these next 2 weeks!

Peekaboo Angel -- a DigiStamps4Joy New Release
It seems like it's been awhile, but it is New Release Sunday at DigiStamps4Joy. There are 4 new releases today. I decided to have a play with one of the New Releases, Peekaboo Angel, by Jen Leeflang.
I used pinks and blues for this beautiful Peekaboo Angel, colored with Copic markers.
The designer paper framing her is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is from the Summer Butterflies paper collection. The "Fabulous" sentiment is a word die from Crafter's Companion. The stitched frame die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.
I hope you check out all the great inspiration from the DigiStamps4Joy design team for today's new releases, then do some shopping in the DigiStamps4Joy shop. Then, check out the DigiStamps4Joy Facebook group, too!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

I have a friend who is an incredible person, and one of the most gifted teachers I have ever met. When I was given this image to use for the recent New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps, I was so excited! I had to create a card for my good friend!
This is Best Teacher, colored with Copic markers. I added her name to the middle of the desk. The No 1 teacher is part of the stamp, Best Teacher. My friend has blonde hair and glasses, so this image fits her so well. She is a grade school music teacher, as you may have guessed from the way I embellished the card.
The sentiment is computer generated. The easel card was created with a die from Crafter's Companion. The music themed stickers are embellishments from Hot Off the Press. The designer papers (digital) are from Imagine That Digistamp.
There are a number of wonderful new releases in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop. I hope you take time to check them out, then buy the ones you "have to have." Color them up and enter the challenges found both in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group and on the All Dressed Up Challenge blog. There's tons of examples with the New Releases in the ADU facebook group to inspire you, and on the All Dress Up blog too! Check it all out! You'll not be disappointed!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- May Linky Party
Word Art Wednesday -- ATG
IDCB -- ATG
Lemon Shortbread -- ATG

No Better Friend -- for QKR Stampede Challenge Blog
Friday -- that means it's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. Every challenge every week is Anything Goes! That means you have no excuse but to join us!
This week, I have a darling image that made, I think, a delightful card. This is Springtime Bunny (Q-digi16104):
I colored Springtime Bunny with Copic markers, then used a Crafter's Companion Create-a-Card die set to make the easel card. The sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday stamp set. 6x6 papers are from my stash.
I really hope you can join us this week (and every week) at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. We've got the greatest digis (like this one) that you can win for prizes. Who wouldn't want to color up this cutie?!? Come join the fun!!!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- May Linky Party

IDCB -- ATG
Lemon Shortbread -- ATG
