Christmas is Claus for Celebration! For Delightful Challenges

It's Thursday, and time for another challenge at Delightful Challenges. Our theme this week is "Celebration".  This week, however, is a bit different for us as it is the last challenge for Delightful Challenges.  The challenge blog is closing.  Digital Delights by Louby Loo will remain open and going strong, though!
I thought Chubbly Santa would be a perfect way to celebrate my final challenge with Delightful Challenges
Meet Chubbly...

Chubbly Santa  is available in uncolored and colored versions.

I used the uncolored version, and colored him with Copic markers.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Hugs Sentiment Set.

The designer papers are Echo Park 12x12 Reflections Christmas papers. The corrugated silver paper is from American Crafts.  I used  Cheery Lynn  Snow Flower dies for the snowflakes. There's some Cherry Red Timeless Twine wrapped around the sentiment. Lifestyle Crafts circle dies helped with the circle card shape and other circles that I cut.
Our sponsor for our last challenge is...

The prize is!

Come celebrate with us at Delightful Challenges -- Christmas, birthday, baby, New year's -- any celebration will do.

Candy Cane Jingles -- for Delightful Challenges

It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges.  This week, our theme is "Bundle Up" (winter).  I found the most wonderful image, Candy Cane Jingles, that I used to create this:

You can find the image in the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Store.  Candy Cane Jingles comes in uncolored and colored versions.

I colored Candy Cane Jingles with Copic markers, then used a Lawn Fawn stitched die to cut him out and mount it with 3D foam tape.  The designer papers are Pink Paislee Snow Village 6x6. The card base is Juniper card stock from Close To My Heart. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  These are the two colors in the Winter Bundle.
Our sponsor this week is The Robin's Nest.

Come join us at Delightful Challenges for our Bundle Up Challenges.  Stay indoors, stay warm, start crafting, then come link up!  I'd love to see what you make!

Holiday Greetings! for Delightful Challenges

Happy Thursday, fellow stamp lovers.  It's time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges.  Today, the theme is "Twinkle, twinkle" (add something sparkly).  It's also a new release today, so make sure and stop by the blog and the store to see all the darling new releases!
I had the pleasure of "working" with Skiing Ollie Owl. Here he is!

He's a hotdog, swishing down that ski slope!  I do believe he has a bit of Norwegian blood in him -- just look at him go!
I colored Skiing Ollie Owl with Copic markers, and cut him out with a Spellbinder Label die, mounted to some American Crafts glitter paper, cut with another Spellbinder die.
I wanted Skiing Ollie Owl to have a bit of a challenge, so he has some birch trees to ski through in the designer paper I used by Echo Park --Keepin' Cozy 6x6 paper pad. The snowflakes added more sparkle to my card.  They are a Cheery Lynn Snowflowers die, and more American Crafts glitter paper.  The sentiment is cut out with another Spellbinders die.
Our sponsor this week is Scrapyland.  They are offering a $10 gift certificate to their store!

Come join our "Twinkle, Twinkle" challenge this week at Delightful Challenges.  It's a fun one!

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends.  Today, we are celebrating with great quantities of food.  And we are celebrating our many blessings.  It's also Thursday, and time for a new challenge at the Delightful Challenge blog. Today, we start our "It's a Kid's World" challenge.

How's that for cute?  I used  a Digital Delights by Louby Loo  digi called Acorn Mouse.  It is available in uncolored and colored versions.

I colored Acorn Mouse with Copic markers.  He's a cheeky little fella, isn't he?  I used several Spellbinder label dies to mount him to my card front.  Papers are from Lawn Fawn Sweater Weather 6x6 paper pad.  The burlap trim is from Close To My Heart.  The leaves  were cut out using a Tim Holtz Alterations  Decorative Strip die -- Autumn Gatherings.  I colored the leaves with a variety of Tim Holtz distress inks and water.

A Jolly Holiday -- for Delightful Challenges

It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges. This week's theme is simply, "Happy Holidays".
I chose to work with this adorable Ornament Mouse digi to create this:

Digital Delights by Louby Loo's Ornament Mouse comes in either a colored or uncolored version.

The sentiment is also from Digital Delights from Louby Loo. It is the Christmas Hugs Sentiment Set. I placed it inside of the ornament.

I colored Ornament Mouse with Copic markers, and cut it out with an ornament shaped Spellbinder die.  I inked the edge of the cut out, while still in the die, with several Tim Holtz distress inks. I used the same set of Spellbinders dies to cut out 2 more in a smaller size.
Papers are by Close To My Heart -- the Snowhaven paper pack. I used a We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper on a couple edges, and added some bling from my stash.
Our sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe

Hello, and happy Thursday!  It's time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges, and it's the beginning of the month, so there's also a NEW release!  This week's challenge theme is "Patterns".
Here's my creation:
There's definitely patterns in this card!
I used the new release digi, "Trimming the Tree". And, of course, it's available in colored and uncolored versions.

I obtained all the patterns in this card by using the newly released Digital Delights Christmas Lights paper pack.  Fun, isn't it?

I colored "Trimming the Tree" with Copic markers. The snowflake diecuts are from Lawn Fawn.
The sentiment on this card is also from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. It's from the Christmas Hugs Sentiment Set.

It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges.  This week's theme is "Swirls & Curls."  Fun, Huh?
Here's what I did for the challenge:

This cute image is 'Pickles the Penguin', available in the Digital Delights by Louby Loo store. It is available in colored and uncolored versions.  I chose the uncolored version, and colored it myself with Copic markers.
The die cut card, papers, rhinestone swirl, and glitter tape are all from Close To My Heart.

Did you know there are no penguins on the North Pole?  This penguin is very lost!

Pink Hope -- Breast Cancer Awareness -- for Delightful Challenges

It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges. This week, we are to use our favorite color.  I chose to use pink, one of my favorites to color with, and since this is October, also very popular for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This sweet bear is called "Pink Ribbon Boo Boo Bear", and can be found in the Digital Delights store.  I colored the bear with Copic markers, then used a couple Spellbinder dies on it.  The designer paper and brad are from My Mind's Eye.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
One of the residents in the nursing home where I work has a daughter struggling with breast cancer.  I am going to give this card to my resident so she can give it to her daughter.  I think they both will like that.  This daughter will not win her fight with breast cancer.  She and her mom are walking a very difficult road right now.  They are showing incredible courage and strength.

Flower Power -- for Delightful Challenges

It's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at Delightful Challenges.  This week's theme is CAS (Clean & Simple).  I think my cards often fit this category, since I really don't "layer them up", so I stuck with my usual style for this one:

This darling girl is Flower Power Sunflower, available in colored and uncolored in the Digital Delights by Louby Loo Store.

I used paper by Fancy Pants on the card, including the frame that Flower Power Sunflower is in. She is colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is also by Digital Delights by Louby Loo.  It is the "Leafy Fall Sentiment".  It is available in colored and uncolored versions.  I chose the uncolored, and printed it on colored cardstock. I sized it to fit in a 1 inch circle punch.

Our sponsor this week is The Charm Barn.

You can win a $15 store certificate!  Make a CAS card and enter the challenge at Delightful Challenges!  And, don't forget to check out the other creations from this talented design team.  They rock!
