Follow Your Heart -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  We've had optional color themes all year long, and we're winding it up this month with Metallics, Foils, and Glitters.  Our sponsor for both the start and mid-challenge is Sparkle 'N Sprinkle

I do a lot of coloring, so it's fun to feature a sentiment occasionally. That's what I did on today's card.  This uses the Sentiment set, Happiness Greetings.  I used one of the sentiments in the set to create this:

I have a new hot foil machine by Crafter's Companion, and I used it, along with a hot foil stamp, to create the background of this card.  I used silver foil paper behind the sentiment, then some pink glitter paper to cut out the heart.  I figured that would do well for our "Metallics, Foil, and Glitter" optional themed challenge.

I hope you find time to join us during this busy month of December.  When you have that glitter and foil out, link it up at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

Snowman & Bird -- for Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog

December 3 -- this is the day we start a new challenge on the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  The theme for this month's challenge is "Happy Holidays".

I love the charming images that Naz has in her Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Store, and this Snowman & Bird is just delightful to color up!

I colored Snowman & Bird with Copic markers.

I used papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop on this card.  The circle is from the Kerst Christmas Collection. The strip of teal paper is from the Touch of Teal collection.

The stitched snowflakes are dies from Lawn Fawn, cut out with glitter paper. The glimmer trim and card stock base are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you are able to join us this month at Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog as you finish up your Christmas cards.  The theme is "Happy Holidays".

I'd like to enter this in the following challenge:
Dies R Us Challenge -- Snowflakes (uses Lawn Fawn snowflake dies)

Polar Bear Tag -- for Bugaboo Stamps

The 'Tis the Season of Awkward Holiday Chaos Event continues at Bugaboo Stamps.  You'll find all the fun over at the Catch the Bug Blog

Today's fun challenge is "Bring on the White Elephant Gifts" -- create gift packaging -- a tag, a gift card holder, a gift, anything that fits the theme.

I used this adorable Polar Bear (only $1.00!) to create a gift tag:

I colored the Polar Bear with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.

I used tag dies from Close To My Heart to construct the Christmas gift tag.  Papers for the tag are from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  They are from the Blue Christmas papers.  The white fibers are from Close To My Heart.

So, bring on the white elephant gifts! Join the challenge!

Have you been able to join in on the 'Tis the Season of Awkward Holiday Chaos fun this week?  There's still plenty more to come!  You'll find it all over at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog

Bird Joy -- Stella Says Sketch at Bugaboo

It is day 2 of the Tis the Season of Awkward Holiday Chaos event at Catch the Bug Challenge blog.

First my card, then the sketch, then all the details of the fun and prizes to be had this week!

This card uses Winter Birds - Skate.  I colored this charming bird with Copic markers.  Winter Birds -Skate is full of joy - I can just tell from the bright colors and way she's skating right along through the winter wonderland!  She's one happy bird!

Here's the sketch I used on this card, and the sketch for the challenge on the Catch the Bug Blog:
The challenge goes all week, so come join in the fun.  There are events each day. Here's what's going on:
Every year, Jodie is super generous with the prizes, so it's definitely worth coloring us a Bugaboo image (or 2 or 3 or 7!) and playing along!  Enter as many days as you'd like, but please join in the Holiday Chaos fun!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Word Art Wednesday -- ATG

With Love -- for SheepSki Designs

December 1 -- the start of a very busy month!  It's also the start of a new challenge on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The theme this month is: Celebrations.

Since my husband and I celebrate our anniversary in December (35 years -- I am having trouble getting my head around that number!), I took advantage of one of Andrea Norris' beautiful floral images to make my husband an anniversary card for this challenge.

Here is Freesia Vase, found in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop

I colored Freesia Vase with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

The houndstooth background paper is a new release from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the papers in the new Houndstooth Neutral Collection.

I made the card base and layers with a set of Spellbinders dies.  The various heart dies are from my stash, and I no longer know the manufacturers. The green glimmer trim and yellow card base are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you find time to join us this busy month of December for the Celebrations challenge at SheepSki Designs challenge blog.  I'd love to see what you make, and there are great prizes you can win -- like this wonderful Freesia Vase digi!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Festive Friday -- anniversary
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge -- ATG
Color Crazy Challenge -- anything colored goes
Jo's Scrap Shack -- ATG

Warm Winter Wishes -- for All Dressed Up

December 1 -- it's the start of a new challenge for the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge.  This month's theme is seasons/holidays.  Since I'm burning out on Christmas cards, I went with a winter theme on this one instead :)

Isn't she the sweetest?  Wendy Burns draws the most lovable characters that are so fun to color!  You will find this Snowy Day digital stamp, and many other wonderful digis in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop

I colored Snowy Day with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

The teal designer paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  This is one of the papers in the Touch of Teal Collection.

The step card base was cut out with a die from Sizzix.  The snowflake dies are from Lawn Fawn, and the teal twine is from Timeless Twine.

I hope you aren't too busy this month of December to join the holiday/season challenge at the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  There's also an All Dressed Up challenge underway on the All Dressed Up blog.  Check that one out too!
