Some of my Best Friends Have FUR! for Path of Positivity and Bugaboo!

I love people, and I love dogs, so when I heard that the optional theme this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog was Friendship, and that Bugaboo Stamps was one of our awesome sponsors, I knew JUST what I wanted to do!

One of my best friend's mother recently had her leg amputated above the knee, and she's more than likely going to lose her hand soon.  She's been bombarded with get well cards, so I wanted to brighten her day, but with a twist.  She's a dog lover, much like me, so I made her this Treat bag for the next time I visit her:

I used the darling Bugaboo digi, Izzie Brat and Charlie, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.

I bought a bunch of treat bags several years ago from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I don't think they carry them anymore, but I sure do enjoy having them on hand for projects just like this one.

The Path of Positivity Challenges go for a month.  The optional theme this month is Friendship, but you can enter any positive theme challenge you'd like.  Please join us!  I'd love to see your creations, and you could win awesome prizes from our sponsors -- like this darling digi from Bugaboo Stamps

You'll also find this project at Catch the Bug Blog today, for the Anything But a Card feature.  Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers created today at Catch the Bug

Say it With Flowers -- for Sasayaki Glitter by Naz

It's March 3, and there's a new challenge starting today at the Sasayaki Glitter Blog. The theme this month is 'Flowers', and you can find many wonderful digi stamps in the Sasayaki Glitter Stamps by Naz Etsy Shop that will fit the theme!

I used Flower Bunny to create this flower shaped card:

I colored up Flower Bunny with Copic markers, using bright, springtime colors.  We've had over 4 feet of snow in the past 2 weeks, so I am thinking spring!

I used stacked flower cutting dies, found in the Dies R Us store, by Precious Marieke.  The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Birthday Party paper collection.

The challenges at Sasayaki Glitter Blog run for a month, so you have until April 2 to link up your flower project, and you can use any digi you want!

Hoppy Easter -- Stella Says Sketch

It's Sunday, and Stella and laid down the gauntlet to sketch again.  When Stella says sketch, I do!  You can find the sketch and challenge on the Catch the Bug Blog for Bugaboo Stamps

Easter is still a ways away, but I'm starting on a few cards.  This is my first:

This card uses Simple Cute Bunny 01, colored with Copic markers.

Here's Stella's Sketch for the next 2 weeks:
As you can see, I followed the sketch pretty closely.  I put the sentiment at the top instead of the bottom, and used some CTMH glimmer trim instead of the scallop border.

Papers on this card are from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Simon Says Stamp.  The candy dots were part of my stash.

Have you picked up the Friday Freebie?  Use it to join in on the challenge.  I'd love to see what you create, and you could win even more incredible Bugaboo Stamps

Easter Treats Bags -- for Dies R Us

It won't be long and we'll be saying, "Happy Easter", so I made some Easter treat bags for my project on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today.

Somehow Easter and candy go hand in hand, so I have a treat bag idea to share with you today:

OK, now that you've seen the bags, let's hop to the construction of them!

Here's the supplies -- a Lawn Fawn treat bag die, Impression Obsession bunnies, and rectangle dies from Jeannine's Art, plus Lawn Fawn papers, and Best Glue Ever:

I started by cutting the Lawn Fawn scalloped treat bag cutting die twice.

Below, you can see how I use Washi tape to secure my dies before I insert them in my machine so they don't move.

Below is a picture of all the shapes cut out, before I assembled the bags.

The iris colored bag:
The daffodil colored bag:

The Lawn Fawn treat bag is no longer available, but I did find an Elizabeth Craft Treat Bag that is similar and would work for this project.

Supplies used on this project available in the Dies R Us Store:

I'll leave you with one more picture of both of these treat bags, topped with ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon:

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Jazz It Up! a New Release at Sasayaki Glitter Stamps

Woohoo!  Don't you love something new?  Well, Sasayaki Glitter Stamps by Naz has some New Releases in the Etsy Shop for you to enjoy!

I colored up the Trumpeter from Musician Couple:

The trumpeter is colored with Copic markers.

The brick paper on this card is a New Release from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 2 of the papers in the new Brick Wall paper collection.

The sentiment was computer generated, and the music elements were found in the Silhouette Design Store and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.

I'll leave you with one more view of this awesome new release:

Joyeux Noel -- for the 12 Months of Christmas

The year is moving right along, and I'm trying to get a Christmas card or 2 made each month, in hopes of staying on top of the homemade cards for 2019.

The 12 Months of Christmas is starting a new challenge today.  The optional theme is "Brads, Buttons, and Bows".  Use 3 of one of these, or a combination of them on your card.

Our sponsor this month is Lunagirl -- with some of the best vintage images and ephemera out there!

I used the awesome Joyeux Noel Set #2 (Vintage French Christmas Cards) to create this:

Another of our sponsors each month is Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  I used 3 of her papers on this card.  They were all from the 2018 12 Days of Christmas set.  And, I used 3 brads from Close To My Heart, following the "Brads, Buttons, and Bows" theme by using the 3 brads.

You can win some of Lisa's awesome Christmas papers by linking up 2 Christmas cards to the 12 Months of Christmas each month.  Follow the optional theme to be eligible for a prize from our sponsor, Lunagirl

Have a Pawsome Day! Favorite Colors at SheepSki Designs

March 1.  Wasn't it just Christmas a couple days ago?  I don't know where this year is going!

March 1 -- time for a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  This month, the theme is "favorite color".  Oh, that's a fun one!  Color up one of Andrea North's great image, found in her SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop, color it in your favorite color, and enter the challenge!

Here's my DT inspiration, using Jack --

I colored Jack up with my favorite color(s)  -- aqua and pink.  I really like these 2 colors together.  I think they make each other really stand out!  I colored Jack with Copic markers.

I used papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The pink knit paper is from the Toasty Warm  collection.  The starry piece across the middle is from the Color Me Christmas collection.

The SheepSki Designs Challenge goes for the whole month, and, thankfully, there are 31 days in March!  I hope you find time to enter our 'Favorite Colors' theme, link up, and join the fun!
