Hello, Scrapyland!

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and I'm pleased to say that I'm starting on the Scrapyland Challenge design team.  I'll be posting for them twice a month.

Scrapyland Challenges are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  The themes are always anything goes, as long as you use a die that Scrapyland sells. You could be one of 2 winners of a $10 gift certificate to the Scrapyland Store. 

I made this card a couple weeks ago, on the first day of spring, so I was in total spring mode at the time.  Here's what I created for the challenge:

It's Tuesday, and that's a very exciting day at Bugaboo Stamps!  Tuesday is New Release day!  Today's new release has loads of possibilities!  

This is Daffodil Can:

I colored Daffodil Can with Copic markers, then used a sketch from Sketch Saturday for the layout of the card.

There's a piece of mulberry paper on this card.  I used it for a challenge at The Outlawz -- Crash Your Stash.  I had to order a piece of mulberry paper specifically for the challenge from Paper Temptress, as I couldn't find any in my stash.  The other papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The background paper is from Spring Flowers.  The scalloped border piece is from Nature's Blends.  The soft flower banner piece is from Floral Expressions.  The jute on this card is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. 

A lost a very good friend last week that I've known for over 30 years.  I made this card for her husband, when I attend the funeral this Saturday.  It was made with many memories and tremendous love.

Fairy Joy -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's a new month, and that means it's a new opportunity to get a Christmas card or 2 made for the 2019 Christmas season.  There's a new challenge that starts today at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. 

This month, the optional theme is 'Fairies'.  Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.  To be eligible for the awesome prize, you must use a fairy somewhere on your card -- either in the image, in the papers, or as an embellishment.

This month, of course, the papers have a fairy theme, but there are also 2 glitter papers, which I used on this card.

I cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file from the Silhouette Design Store.   The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Technique Tuesday.

Fly High! for SheepSki Designs Challenge blog

It's April 1, and it's time for a new challenge on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  This month, the theme is "Wings".  There are many different ways to go with this theme, and many wonderful images in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop to use for the challenge.  Come join in the fun!

I loved Andrea's Daisy Panel, and couldn't wait to color it up, so I used it, and added some butterflies to get the wings to meet the challenge theme:

I thought the Daisy Panel could be colored in many different colors.   I decided to go for one of my favorite Copic combinations -- R81, R83, R85, and R89.  I think they make some pretty Daisies, and I can't wait until they are blooming near me!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  Those pretty daisies are from the Miss Daisy paper collection. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The card base and layers were made from a Spellbinders label die set.  The butterflies are dies from Paper Wishes.

Be Brave Enough to Fly -- for All Dressed Up

Happy April, everyone!  There's a new challenge that starts today in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  The theme for the month of April is "Animal Madness".  There are lots of great images in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop that will work for this theme!  Wendy has the best art!

Happy Spring -- for Aloha Friday Challenges

It's Friday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Aloha Friday Challenge Blog.  This time, the theme is "In the Garden".  

You won't quite make it in a garden at my house as there is still a few inches of snow, but it is melting, and the spring birds are returning, so I am hopeful!
