Hello, Scrapyland!

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and I'm pleased to say that I'm starting on the Scrapyland Challenge design team.  I'll be posting for them twice a month.

Scrapyland Challenges are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  The themes are always anything goes, as long as you use a die that Scrapyland sells. You could be one of 2 winners of a $10 gift certificate to the Scrapyland Store

I made this card a couple weeks ago, on the first day of spring, so I was in total spring mode at the time.  Here's what I created for the challenge:

Scrapyland dies used on this card:

I think lots of us enjoy dies, and own many of them, so whenever you use one, Scrapyland probably sells it.  Check and see, then link it up at the Scrapyland ATG Challenge.  I'd love to see what you create, and there are great prizes to win!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Die Cuttin' Divas -- What is your favorite Crayola color? (purple)

Sympathy and Tulips -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Tuesday, and that's a very exciting day at Bugaboo Stamps!  Tuesday is New Release day!  Today's new release has loads of possibilities!

This is Daffodil Can:

I colored Daffodil Can with Copic markers, then used a sketch from Sketch Saturday for the layout of the card.

Here's the sketch I used:

There's a piece of mulberry paper on this card.  I used it for a challenge at The Outlawz -- Crash Your Stash.  I had to order a piece of mulberry paper specifically for the challenge from Paper Temptress, as I couldn't find any in my stash.  The other papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The background paper is from Spring Flowers.  The scalloped border piece is from Nature's Blends.  The soft flower banner piece is from Floral Expressions.  The jute on this card is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

A lost a very good friend last week that I've known for over 30 years.  I made this card for her husband, when I attend the funeral this Saturday.  It was made with many memories and tremendous love.

I hope you check out what the other Bugaboo designers did with this week's new release over at Catch the Bug!  You won't be disappointed!

I've found the following challenges to enter this in:

You Make Me Happy! for The Path of Positivity

You make me happy!  You do!  I'm so glad you have stopped by my blog today!

Happiness is the optional theme at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog this month.  To be eligible for the prizes from our awesome sponsors, link up a project that meets the requirements, or link up any positive themed project you'd like.

One of our sponsors this month is Limited Runs Stamps.  I used an image that makes me happy, called Mini Bird - Heart Balloon

I colored Mini Bird - Heart Balloon with Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The fun, bright paper at the bottom of the card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Party Celebration papers.

Happiness -- the optional theme this month at The Path of Positivity. The challenge starts today and goes through May 5.  I hope you can join us!

Fairy Joy -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's a new month, and that means it's a new opportunity to get a Christmas card or 2 made for the 2019 Christmas season.  There's a new challenge that starts today at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

This month, the optional theme is 'Fairies'.  Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.  To be eligible for the awesome prize, you must use a fairy somewhere on your card -- either in the image, in the papers, or as an embellishment.

I used the sweet Holly Berry Fairy:

I colored Holly Berry Fairy with Copic markers.

Papers on this card are from another of our awesome sponsors, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  Every month, Lisa creates papers for the challenge.  to be eligible to win one of them, enter 2 Christmas cards in a month. This month, of course, the papers have a fairy theme, but there are also 2 glitter papers, which I used on this card.

I cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file from the Silhouette Design Store.   The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Technique Tuesday.

Are you working on your Christmas cards?  Then link them up at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up, where this month's optional theme is "Fairies".

Fly High! for SheepSki Designs Challenge blog

It's April 1, and it's time for a new challenge on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  This month, the theme is "Wings".  There are many different ways to go with this theme, and many wonderful images in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop to use for the challenge.  Come join in the fun!

I loved Andrea's Daisy Panel, and couldn't wait to color it up, so I used it, and added some butterflies to get the wings to meet the challenge theme:

I thought the Daisy Panel could be colored in many different colors.   I decided to go for one of my favorite Copic combinations -- R81, R83, R85, and R89.  I think they make some pretty Daisies, and I can't wait until they are blooming near me!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  Those pretty daisies are from the Miss Daisy paper collection. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The card base and layers were made from a Spellbinders label die set.  The butterflies are dies from Paper Wishes.

I hope you can join us this month at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  I'd love to see your take on the Wings theme, and there are wonderful digis you can win -- like this one!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Crafty Sentiments Challenge -- ATG
AUD Sentiments -- Anything but "happy birthday"
Outlawz Twisted Thursday -- Favorite Product (ribbon, digis, digital paper, Copics, and dies)

I used Little Birdie to create this:

I colored Little Birdie with Copic markers, then used a Spellbinders label die set to create the card base and layers.  The sentiment is from an acrylic stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The daisy paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Farm Life digital papers.

Happy Spring -- for Aloha Friday Challenges

It's Friday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Aloha Friday Challenge Blog.  This time, the theme is "In the Garden".

You won't quite make it in a garden at my house as there is still a few inches of snow, but it is melting, and the spring birds are returning, so I am hopeful!

One of our sponsors this challenge is A Day For Daisies.  I had the fun of creating with Walking Bonnet:

I colored Walking Bonnet with Copic markers.  I used a sketch from Cheerful Sketches to design the card.  Here's the sketch:
Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The daisy and the paisley papers are from the On the Farm collection. The other piece is from Summer Butterflies

The "In the Garden" Challenge at Aloha Friday Challenges runs for one more week, or through April 4.  Winners will be announced the following Sunday.  I hope you can join in on the fun!
