For My Friend -- and Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's been two weeks already, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  For the next 2 weeks, the theme is 'Anything But a Card'.  I'm primarily a card maker, but it's always good to shake it up a bit and make something different.  For this challenge, I made a gift tag using Daffodil Delivery

I colored up Daffodil Delivery with Copic markers.  I'm anxiously waiting for Daffodils to bloom where I live, and it should be soon!

Papers on this gift tag are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The blue paper is from the Spring Butterflies Too collection, and the paper the sentiment is on is from the Floral Expressions collection

Celebration Mouse -- for Sasayaki Glitter Stamps

It's time for a Celebration at Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  The theme this month is "Congratulations".  Take that any way you want -- wedding, graduation, birthday, new baby, there are many occasions to celebrate, and Sasayaki Glitter Stamps has many, many images that will work for this challenge theme!  The challenge goes for a month, so you have lots of time!

I decided to go with a birthday theme, as I never seem to have enough birthday cards on hand.  I used the very cute, very fun Birthday Cake Mouse on this card:

I colored up Birthday Cake Mouse with Copic markers.  I've been in a pastel state of mind with my Copic coloring lately, and I used them again on this card.  I thought it made that cake look yummy enough to eat!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  There's papers from the Cupcake Wrappers paper collection (left strip and middle strip).  The other 2 smaller strips are from the Celebrate paper pack

Speaking of 'Celebrate', the sentiment is cut out with a die from Frantic Stamper, purchased from the Dies R Us Store.  The balloon is a die from Paper Wishes, and there's a tiny bit of Timeless Twine to finish off the card.

I hope you are able to join us this month at Sasayaki Glitter's Challenge Blog.  You have until June 2 to link up!

I Love My Computer! for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and if that's not exciting enough, there's always a freebie at Bugaboo Stamps on Friday, so this is Friday Freebie time! Today's freebie is great fun!  I think many of us can relate to this one!

Computer Friends comes with the image and the sentiment, and it will be free for a week, so you'll want to grab it quick!

I colored Computer Friends with Copic markers.  I found the fun computer themed papers at Pixel Scrapper, and  thought they worked well.  The enamel heart sticker is from my stash.

I hope you check out the Catch the Bug blog to see what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers did with this fun freebie.  Go grab it, and enter the Catch the Bug Challenges with it.  There's one tomorrow, as a matter of fact!

Christmas Pup -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's May 1, and with a new month comes a new link up at the 12 Months of Christmas.  This month, the optional theme is "Creature Feature".

Sandra Caldwell is sponsoring the 12 Months of Christmas for the first time this month, and what a pleasure it was to color up this Christmas Puppy image!

I colored up Christmas Puppy with Copic markers, then used papers from our monthly sponsor, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.

I found this fun card shape in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.

To be eligible for the awesome prize from Sandra Caldwell, link up a card using the optional Creature Feature theme.  To be eligible for a free digital paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles, link up two Christmas cards this month.

Flower Power -- for SheepSki Designs

It's May 1st already (where did April go?) and it's time for a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  This month, the theme is "Flower Power".  Andrea Norris has some wonderful floral images in her SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop, so this will be a grand theme to join in on!

I had the absolute pleasure of coloring up Jo's Daffodils (image #50) for this month's challenge project:

I colored Jo's Daffodils with Copic markers.  It's too early for daffodils to be in bloom yet where I live, but it shouldn't be long!  I can't wait for spring flowers!

The pretty background paper on this card is a New Release from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is one of the new Floral Burst papers

I used Spellbinders dies (rectangles),a Close To My Heart die (banner), computer generated the sentiment, and tied it all together with some Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Flower Power -- such a great theme for May, with spring, Mother's Day, and warmer temperatures.  I hope you find time to join us at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  We've got great digis you can win for prizes, and I'd absolutely love to see what you create!

Beautiful Bouquet -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's May!  It's time for a new challenge at the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  This month, the theme is super easy:  just use your favorite color!  You'll find many, many wonderful digi stamps in the All Dressed Up Etsy Store to use for the challenge.

I love coloring with pastel colored markers, especially in the spring, so that's what I did for this month's challenge project.  This digital stamp is called "Flowers for Mum", with the text removed.

I colored Flowers for Mum with Copic markers.  As I stated earlier, I love pastel colors this time of year.  I especially love pink and violet, so I concentrated on those colors on this card.  I also like to color rusty cans, so this one was very fun to color!

The pretty strip of flowered paper on the left side of this card is a New Release from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the Floral Burst papers.

I cut the card out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found at Monica's Creative Room.

You're Amazing -- for Scrapyland Challenges

It's the first Wednesday of the month, so it's time for a new challenge on the Scrapyland Challenge Blog.  Challenges are always anything goes using a brand that Scrapyland sells, and that go for 2 weeks.

I used 4 dies on this card to create this:

The hoop die is from Neat & Tangled.  I cut it out with some gold foil paper so it would show up nicely against the white background.  The lacy white background is part of a set by Sue Wilson.  It is the Belgian Collection - Bruges die set. I used the 2 outside dies on this.  The swallow die is a Spellbinders die, but you can find a similar one here in the Scrapyland Store.  The black circle inside the gold hoop was cut with a circle die from Paper Artist
