Get Well Panda -- for Kitty Bee Designs

I'm posting today for Kitty Bee Designs.  It's my turn to post a little inspiration there.  I just adore the cute pandas and other animals you will find in the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy Shop.

I used the adorable stamp Get Well Panda to create this Get Well Card:

I colored the Get Well Panda with Copic markers.  I used a sentiment stamp from Paper Wishes, and papers from Close To My Heart.

Check out the Kitty Bee Designs blog to see more great inspiration from the Kitty Bee Designs DT!

Just a Note Angel -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Saturday, and that means there's a challenge starting at Catch the Bug.  The theme that gets underway today is "Your Favorite Movie."  The 1st movie that popped into my head was one from childhood -- "The Sound of Music" -- so, I went with it!

Using one of the many 'Just a Note' digis found in the Bugaboo Store, (this is Just a Note 7), I created this for today's challenge at Catch the Bug:

I colored Just a Note 7 with Copic markers.   There wasn't a lot to color, so it went pretty fast.  Isn't that angel dangling from the end of the note adorable?  Maybe my favorite movie should have been "The Littlest Angel"!  That would have worked, too!

Designer papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The pin/purple linen looking paper with the scalloped edge is from the Coneflower Love papers.  The music note paper is from the Just a Song paper collection.  The gold music score die cut is a Spellbinders die.  The sentiment is a stamp from Paper Wishes.

Your favorite movie.  If you're a movie goer, this should be easy for you.  Create a project around that movie, then enter it in the challenge this week at Catch the Bug.  I'd love to see your creation!

I'd also like to give you a chance to win some blog candy I have.  I turned 60 on July 6th, and I have over $60 of crafty supplies I'm giving away to a lucky winner.  See this post for details on how you can win it.

Jingle All the Way -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog.  Our theme for the next 2 weeks is "Christmas in July".  Here's a chance to get a jump on those Christmas cards, while using one of Di Carubia's wonderful digi images.  You'll find them in the Di's Digi Stamps Store.

Di has wonderful Christmas images, as I mentioned above.  I treasure this Christmas Holly Parade image:

I colored up Christmas Holly Parade with Copic markers.  Is there anything cuter than those creatures?  Such a treasure this image is!  I wish I could color 50 of these for all my Christmas cards this year!

I used Spellbinders dies to cut out the adorable Christmas Holly Parade image.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart.  The papers are digital.  I found them at Pixel Scrapper.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  They are no longer in business.

Christmas in July -- see what fun you can have with this theme and enter the challenge at Di's Digi Design Challenges.  I'd love to see what you make, and you could win the cutest digis ever -- like this one!

Summer Cherries -- for We Are 3 and Bugaboo Stamps

I'm doubling up on my post today, featuring beautiful papers that are a New Release from We Are 3 Digital Shop, and coloring up an Oldie But Goodie from Bugaboo Stamps.  Old and new -- a great combo, right?

I used the beautiful Cherries digi from Bugaboo Stamps and paired it with the new Fruity papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop, along with one of the Itty Bitty Summer sentiments to create this:

I colored the Cherries digi with Copic markers, working on getting those Cherries ripe and shiny, just like I picked them.  Then, I picked out my papers from the Fruity collection.  There's also a strawberry paper, one with seeds, a basket weave, and others you have to see to appreciate.   I thought the sentiment went well with those juicy ripe, summertime Cherries

The cherries printed ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I've had it for a couple years, waiting for the right card to use it on.  I finally found it!

There are other Oldie but Goodie images and the projects made with them on the Catch the Bug Blog today.  I hope you take time to check them out see the awesome inspiration from the Bugaboo Design Team.

I'd also like to give you a chance to win some blog candy I have.  I turned 60 on July 6th, and I have over $60 of crafty supplies I'm giving away to a lucky winner.  See this post for details on how you can win it.

It's O-fish-all!  Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez has some really cute stamps!  You need to check them out here in her store! She has some clear stamps, digital stamps, a Zazzle store, she sells some of her cards, she has sine digital papers, and a few other treasures you can discover.

I really love her animal stamps.  This Happy Fish just makes me smile!

I colored the Happy Fish digital stamp with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.  I made the background with distress oxide inks.  The sentiment is from a set I got at Technique Tuesday.  The background paper with the fins is a mermaid paper from the Silhouette Design Store.

I can think of many people to send this card to, and you, my blog reader, should get it send to YOU!  Thanks for visiting today.

Happy Birthday to Me -- Blog Candy for YOU!

It's July 6, and today is my 60th birthday.  When I was diagnosed with stage 4B non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 57, and given about a 15% chance of surviving, I never thought I'd see 58.  Now, I'm celebrating 60!  Every day is a gift, every year a cause for great celebration.   I have more than enough crafty supplies, so I want to share the wealth with you, my blog followers.  More on that in a bit.

Today, there is a new challenge starting at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  It's an Anything Goes challenge, so you can link up absolutely anything you want this week.  Bugaboo Stamps has such a wonderful variety of images that you're bound to find something you can color up.  There's always yesterday's freebie.  Have you grabbed it yet?  Or Tuesday's wonderful New Release?  She's 1/2 off this week.

Since today is my birthday, I made a birthday card for today's Anything Goes Catch the Bug Challenge.  I used this Happy Birthday Chickie image to create this:

I colored the Happy Birthday Chickie with Copic markers, then used this week's sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches to create the card.  Here's the sketch:

I used scalloped and stitched dies from Spellbinders to cut out the image and the papers.  Papers have been in my stash forever.  They are the Soiree collection from Pink Paislee.  Are they even still in business? The twine is from the same collection.  The balloon is a die from Paper Wishes.  The sentiment is a stamp from them, too.

Now, for the blog candy.  Please follow my blog.  For the month of July, if you comment on this post, you will be eligible.  Leave me a way to contact you.  I have over $60 of crafty goodies to send to a US winner.  I will use random.org to choose my winner.  If the winner is from elsewhere in the world, they will be able to pick a $15 gift certificate from an online store of their choice.

Blog candy -- Spellbinders dies, a Memory Box die, Close To My Heart stamps, Cricut vinyl and iron-on, Basic Grey 12x12 papers, 3 6x6 paper pads, bling and ribbons

So, that's it for this post!  Follow my blog, leave a comment, then head over to the Catch the Bug blog for the Anything Goes Challenge.  Ready, Set, party!

Never Forget to Dance -- for Colour Crazy Challenge Blog

It's Friday, and a long weekend for many people here in the US.  With yesterday being Independence Day, many are off now, all the way through until Monday.  Our small, little tourist town is one big party this weekend.  We're hosting the Liberty Fest, and we party hardy -- there's something for everyone and every age!

But, I digress.  I should be talking about the wonderful challenge blog, Colour Crazy Challenge Blog, originating in the UK.  Hopefully, things are a bit quieter there! The Colour Crazy Challenge Blog has a new challenge every Friday.  They are always Anything Goes, as long as your image is hand colored, with whatever medium you desire.

Our wonderful sponsor this week is SheepSki Designs.  Since I'm on Andrea North's design team, I love to color up her images!  Today, I had the great fun of using Perfect Pointe:

I colored Perfect Pointe with Copic markers, then used various digital papers on the card.  I cut the card base out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  I also cut the various music symbols out on my Silhouette. The sentiment was computer generated.

I hope you can join us this week, and every week, at Colour Crazy Challenge Blog for our Anything that's Hand Colored Goes!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

AUD Sentiment -- ATG with a Sentiment
