Cute Witch -- for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

Greetings, fellow crafters.  I'm on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today, and I always enjoy a chance to play with dies! I have a witch to share today that is not too scary at all!

I like the cute things of Halloween, not the scary things, and I love the candy, so bring it on!

Here's a photo of all the supplies I used on this card:

The focal point of this card is a Tutti Designs die, Cute Witch.  I die cut her 3 times -- once with black card stock, once with orange glitter paper, and once with purple glitter paper.  Here's a photo of everything die cut:

You may have noticed I just cut the pumpkin and got a bit of her hand using the orange glitter paper.  I didn't want to waste anymore of the paper than I had to.  I could have done the same thing with the purple glitter paper, but at the time that I cut it out, I thought I was going to use the socks and shoes, too.  As it turned out, the glitter paper shredded, so I opted to leave that portion black, and just trim off the purple hat and use that.

Here's a photo of the portions trimmed and ready to layer for the Cute Witch:

The circle die is from Lawn Fawn.  It is a stitched stackable circle die.  There are quite a few version of this, if you search Lawn Fawn circle dies.

I stamped the sentiment using the Lawn Fawn Happy Howloween Stamp Set. It is stamped on a die from Avery Elle, but these banners on close out from EK Success would work great, too. I used Stick It Adhesive Sheets to adhere all the small pieces together.

Dies R Us products used on this card:

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The glittery black paper is from the Halloween paper pack. The spider web paper is one of the Web Works papers
I'll leave you with one last shot of the cute witch!

Do Not Fear the Wind -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Our themes are optional.  This month's optional theme is Courage.  You can choose to use this theme, or link up any positively themed project you make all month long.

Our sponsor this month is Beccy's Place.  There will be a generous gift certificate given from Beccy's Place.  Our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs

I used Bonsai from Beccy's Place for our Courage challenge, and created this:

I colored the Bonsai tree with Copic markers.  The sentiment, that so nicely ties this all in with the courage theme, is part of the Bonsai digital stamp set.  In case the font is a bit hard to read, it says, "When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind."  It was thoughts such as these that got me through cancer and chemo, and my faith in God, along with the prayers and support of many.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Trees Digital Paper Collection

I hope you can join us this month at the Path of Positivity for our optional Courage Challenge. You have until November 3.

Autumn Wreath -- An All Dressed Up New Release

It's the 7th of the month, and it's one of the 2 days each month that New Releases are show cased at All Dressed Up Stamps (the 22nd is the other day, so check back!)

Today, I have the very great pleasure of introducing you to Autumn Wreath -- one of 4 new releases available in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.  You'll find these new releases showcased in the All Dressed Up Facebook group, and on the All Dressed Up Blog

Here's Autumn Wreath:

I usually color first, then find papers, but this time I had my papers in mind, so I colored (with Copic markers) to match the papers, and I wanted to have an Autumn theme to match the Autumn Wreath name.

The pretty leaves paper, and the blue watercolor looking paper are both from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Watercolor Leaves paper collection

I cut the circular card shape out of a die from Tattered Lace.  The stitched die that the Autumn Wreath image is cut out of is from The Scrapping Cottage.  The leaves are cut out of foiled papers, are are dies from Yvonne Creations, purchased from the Dies R Us Store

I hope you check out both the All Dressed Up Facebook Group and the All Dressed Up Blog to see the other new releases.  Then, do some shopping in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.  There are such wonderful digis for you to purchase.  Color them up and join our challenges!

Pumpkin March -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenges

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  The theme for the next2 weeks is, "Include a Pumpkin".  You can use any image to enter the challenges at Di's Digi Designs Challenges,  but Di has such wonderful images, and lots of them that fit this theme.  You will find them in her Di's Digi Stamps Shop

For today's inspiration, I used the adorable digital image, Pumpkin March.  It has a pumpkin, plus some other cuties!

I colored Pumpkin March with Copic markers, and how such fun doing it!  Di's images make me smile whenever I have the privilege of coloring them up!

I used papers from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I used three papers from the Cute Halloween paper pack.  The "Boo" sentiment is actually a paper, cut to work as the sentiment.   The spider web was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks for the "include a pumpkin" challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  That pumpkin can be a part of the image, in the papers, used as an embellishment -- we just want to see a pumpkin, and I'd like to see your creations!

Boo to You -- and Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and that's always "Oldie but Goodie" day on the Catch the Bug Blog, featuring Bugaboo Stamps.  I've been needing some "cute", not spooky Halloween cards that I can give my friends who live in the nursing home where I worked for 33 years.   I found just what I was looking for in the Bugaboo Stamps Store!

This card uses one of the tags in the Halloween Tags Set 01.  There are 3 tags altogether in this darling set.

I sized the ghost tag to 2.25 inches and colored it up a little with Copic markers.  It didn't need much coloring!  Then I used a Large Stitched Circle Frame die from Cottage Cutz, and a smaller circle die to cut it out, gluing the 2 together.  The fun spider web garland is also from Cottage Cutz.  The papers are called Little Booligans, and is digital.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers made today for Oldie but Goodie day, over at Catch the Bug, then come back tomorrow for Freebie Friday, join us Saturday for the start of another challenge, check in Sunday to see if Stella is sketching this week, and.....you get the idea!  Check in everyday!

Autumn Wheelbarrow -- for Scrapy Land Challenges

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and that means it's challenge time on the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog. Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store.  Nearly 50 brands of dies are sold in the Scrapy Land Store, so this is easy to do!

It is officially Fall, and it has felt like Fall for quite some time where I live, so I got out some Autumn dies and fall colored papers for today's card.  I love the colors of Fall!

The focal point of the card, the Autumn Wheelbarrow, is a Tutti Designs die.  I love how delicate and scrolled it is when cut out!  The white doily behind the Autumn Wheelbarrow  is from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It is called French Pastry.   The pumpkins and leaves are all from the same set.  They are from Yvonne Creations, and are the Fabulous Fall, Autumn Leaves.  The grass is part of a large set of dies from Creative Expressions. It is called Stitched Collection - Garden Critters.  There are many grass borders, if you search in the Scrapy Land store.  My search provided me with 41 possibilities.  The card base was cut out from a die.  It is from Card Deco

I stamped the sentiment on to the doily.  It is a stamp from Joy's Life Stamps.  The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Fall Inspiration collection.

Please try to join us at Scrapy Land Challenges!  Make a project with any brand die sold in the Scrapy Land Store and link up!  You could be the winner of a $15 gift certificate!

Ho Ho Ho -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's October 1st (Yikes!), and that means we're one month closer to Christmas, and one month closer to needing those Christmas cards made!  It also means it's time for a new linky party at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up. This month's optional theme is Sensational Santas.  Our sponsor is Limited Runs.  Keep in mind, though, you don't need to follow the twist to win a paper, or the $10 gift certificate from our sponsor.  To be eligible to win this month's featured paper pack, you do need to follow the Sensational Santa theme, displaying a Santa somewhere on your card.  The digital papers are made each month by the lovely Lisa Decosse of Decosse's Dynamite Doodles

I used Limited Run's digital image, Mini Santa, to create this:

I colored the Mini Santa with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  I used two different papers from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  Both the Santa and the plaid papers are Lisa's

I used a sketch from the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge to help me create this card.  Here's the sketch:
The Ho Ho Ho sentiment is a die from Creative Expressions, purchased through the Dies R Us Store.  The decorative brads are retired, from Close To My Heart.  The stitched oval dies are from Cottage Cutz.

Remember to link up any Christmas cards you make this month at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  Link up one with a Santa theme to be eligible for this month's paper pack.  Link up any card and you might win the awesome prize from Limited Runs!
