Winter Fairy -- Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps!

It's Friday, it's Friday!  Not only is it almost the weekend, but it's also Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! Every Friday, there is a freebie that you can grab for the next week to do with what you'd wish.  I'd suggest coloring it up and entering it in challenges at Catch the Bug so you can win more wonderful Bugaboo images!

This week, at Bugaboo Stamps, the freebie is Winter's Fairy.  Isn't she sweet?

I colored Winter's Fairy with Copic markers.  The sentiment was from a Newton's Nook Designs acrylic set.

I foiled  the background with my Gemini Foil Press machine and a snowflake foil stamp.  After that, the work was pretty much done for me, I added some contrasting card stock and 3 flat backed pearls to finish off the card.

Hop on over to the Bugaboo Stamps store to pick up this week's freebie, then go to the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented designer created with this wonderful Winter's Fairy.  Join in tomorrow's challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Big Eye Girl -- for Colour Crazy Challenges

As I recover more & more from the stroke I had in October, I am able to return to some of the design teams I've put on hold (yea!!).  Today, I'm back with the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog, and it's great to be here!

Today's challenge will run for 2 weeks, and our sponsor is Oddball Art Stamp Co.  I had the fun of coloring up the digi called Big Eye Girl with Heart:

I colored Big Eye Girl with copic markers, then cut her out with a stitched die from my collection.  That fun double sided heart die in the background is from Crafter's Companion.  The trio of silver hearts is from Diamond Press.  I Didn't think she needed a sentiment at all.  The card spoke for itself.

A new challenge starts each week at Colour Crazy Challenges, and each challenge runs for 2 weeks (images must be hand colored).  We have lots of wonderful sponsors with incredible prizes that you can win.  I hope you can join in the fun!

Hare to Celebrate -- for Lavinia World Challenges

It's Thursday, and it's time for a new challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Challenge #21 starts today.  They are always Anything Goes as long as you use an acrylic or rubber  stamp.  Of course, we love to see those Lavinia Stamps and papers!

You can never have too many birthday cards, that's why this Woodland Hare donned his party hat and grabbed some balloons! It's time to celebrate!

I used one of the 2 hares in the Woodland Hares set and stamped him with VersaFine Clair ink in Morning Mist.  I think he might have been able to hold on to all 3 of those helium balloons if his party hat wasn't just a tad too big. But then again, he's a Woodland Hare, and doesn't have thumbs, so he was bound to have some trouble. Hopefully a magical fairy will come his way and help him to the party!

All the fun die cuts on this card are from a Birthday Icons set from Frantic Stamper. The 'Celebrate' sentiment is also from Frantic Stamper. The stitched circle die is from Lawn Fawn. The pretty birthday papers are a new release at We Are 3 Digital Shop.   They are part of the Happy Birthday Collection.

I used the current sketch at Cheerful Sketches to jumpstart my creativity and will be entering it in their challenge.

I hope you can join us at Lavinia World Challenges.  You might be the lucky winner of a $15 gift Certificate to the Lavinia World Store.  How great would that be?!?  If you don't have a blog, you can enter in the Anything Lavinia Facebook Group.

Have fun getting inky!

Be A Rainbow -- For We Are 3 Digital Shop

We Are 3 Digital Shop is the sponsor this week of the Facebook Group, Crafting of Hue.  Check out the group for new releases, discounts, and inspiration from We Are 3 Digital Shop!

I used a fun digital image, awesome digital sentiment and gorgeous digital papers -- all from the We Are 3 Digital Shop:

I started with the Splish Splash Boots. They come in various patterns and also in colored and black & white versions. I  chose the dotted black & white version, colored them with Copic markers, then fussy cut them.  The sentiment is one of the Rainbow Wishes Sentiments.  There are 4 sentiments (all rainbow related) in the set. I used 3 papers from the Rainbow Skies papers.  There are 8 papers in the collection.

I used a sketch from last week's Sketch Saturday challenge to jump start my creativity.  The umbrella is a cutting die from Spellbinders.

I hope you join us this week at Crafting of Hue for all the fun and great discounts!

Thoughtful Thank You card -- for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

I'm posting today for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.  I love having a chance to play with my die collection!

I never seem to have enough thank you cards on hand, so I made another one for today, using a die set by Spellbinders, but many similar dies in the Dies R Us Store would work:

There are many bird dies in the Dies R Us Store  that you could make this card with, but this one by Memory Box would work particularly well.  I cut the bird out on white card stock, then inked it to get this effect.

You will find many "Thank You" sentiments in the Dies R Us Store, but the one for Dee's Distinctively Dies is very similar in size to what I used on this card.  And, of course, any sentiment would work.

The papers in this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 2 of the papers in the Touch of Teal Collection. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you visit the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog often for great ideas on how to use your dies.  Then, shop the wonderful selection of products in the Dies R Us and Didi's Crafts Stores.

Dog Hair is my Glitter -- For We Are 3 Digital Shop

We Are 3 Digital Shop is the sponsor of the Facebook group, Crafting of Hue,  Feb 24-28. Check out the group for discounts, new releases and inspiration!

I have one project on my blog today, then another on Wednesday, Feb 26, featuring some new products from We Are 3 made just for the event.

I am a dog lover through and through, so this dog, and the new dog sentiments are perfect for me and my dog loving friends!

The digital image is called Puppy Dog. It comes with a pre-colored image, and in black and white.  I colored Puppy Dog with Copic markers. The sentiment is one of the new Dog Sentiments. There are 4 cute dog-themed sentiments in the set.  The papers on this card are also from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the new Watercolor Delight papers.  The colors worked so well with the Puppy Dog!

I used the current sketch Tuesday Morning Sketch for this card.  Here's what it looks like:
I hope you check out all the fun this week at Crafting of Hue, and of course, you need to shop for all the wonderful papers, printables, and digital images in the We Are 3 Digital Shop!

Prosecco Time -- A New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps

Today is one of the time's during the month that New Releases are showcased at All Dressed Up Stamps.  There were 4 New Releases this month, and I colored up one of them for today's showcase.  You can see them all in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group, and on the All Dressed Up Blog. They are all for purchase in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

This is Prosecco Time:

I colored Prosecco Time with Copic markers, using my favorite shades of teals.

I recently got a double sided edger die from Crafter's Companion and decided to give it a try.  That's what I used for the stars on the right side of this card.  I really like the layered effect of the die.  I used a piece of old BoBunny paper on the opposite side to add some color to the card.

Prosecco Time can be anytime, so this All Dressed Up image can be used for many occasions!  Pick it up and enter it in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge &/or the challenge on the All Dressed Up Blog.  You've got lots of chances to win more All Dressed Up images!

Pamper Yourself -- a Bugaboo Stamps New Release

It's Tuesday, and that's New Release day at Bugaboo Stamps, or in some cases a re-release from the old store to the new store.  Today, we have a re-release of a darling pooch.  If it's a dog, it's gotta be good!

Here's Rottweiler Bath:

He's not a very fierce looking Rottweiler!  I wouldn't actually mind giving this cutie a bath, if he's not too muddy or smelly!

I colored Rottweiler Bath with Copic markers, and used some new papers found in the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 2 of the papers from the Rainbow Skies Collection

Today's new release, Rottweiler Bath, will be 1/2 price for this week in the Bugaboo Stamps Store.  Stop on over to the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented designers created with this great new release!

Washi Tape Wild --- for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

I'm posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog --always a pleasure for me!

Do You collect washi tape?  I keep buying it, and then never seem to get around to using it.  I decided it was time to put some to good use on this card:

I created the background with strips of washi tape.  It was very easy to do.  Once I got that made, I found a sentiment I wanted to use.  Of course, any sentiment would work, but with Valentine's Day just past, I thought this one is appropriate,  This particular set of sentiment dies is from Spellbinders.  I found the smallest heart die I had in my collection.  The ones in the heart die set from Impression Obsession would work great for this!

I used a liquid glue to adhere the sentiment to the washi tape.

Here's one I made in another color:

Check out the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog for tons of great ideas! And, you'll want to shop the Dies R Us Store.

Block Thank You Card -- for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenge

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so we're starting a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges.  Every first and third Monday, you can count on a new challenge.  You can also count on them being anything thing goes, with a $10 gift certificate being awarded each challenge!

Today, I'm working with one of Jan's newest sets.  It's called Block Sentiments Set.  These are so great!  There are  several different sentiments in the set, appropriate for a wide variety of occasions!  Then, each set is available in several colors, and a black and white version, so you can create, and create, and create -- all with this one set!

Here's what I did with the Block Sentiments Set:

I printed the pasted version of the Thank You sentiment, then backed it with a couple of pieces of card stock that matched shades in the sentiment.  I used some Nuvo Glitter Drops for accents, and the card was complete.

I hope you can join us at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges.  I'd love to see your creations! This challenge will run for 2 weeks.

Take Time for... Stella Says Sketch

It's Sunday, and Its Stella Says Sketch Day at Catch the Bug for Bugaboo Stamps!  Woot, woot!   Love those sketches of Stella's!

We're still very much in the middle of winter where I live, so I'm sharing another winter themed card today, using this week's sketch. I'll show you the card first, then the sketch in a bit:

This Bugaboo Stamps digi is called Winter Bird Friends and it's on sale for only $1.50!  I colored Winter Bird Friends with Copic markers, using a large Lawn Fawn stitched die to cut it out.

Here's this week's Stella Says Sketch:

As you can see, I followed the sketch pretty darn close.

The snowflake paper on this card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Loving Winter papers.

The sentiment is from a My Pink Stamper set I've had for a long time.  Remember her?  The heart dies are from Close To My Heart.

Stella Says Sketch Challenges run for 2 weeks during the winter months, so you have until Leap Day to enter!

My Best Friend -- The Outlawz February Progressive Challenge

I've missed playing in the Outlawz monthly progressive challenge the last 2 months, but when I saw this month's sweet image, I knew it was time to jump back in!

Can you see why?  This adorable image from All Dressed Up Stamps is perfect for a dog lover like me! Thanks to Wendy Burns for donating My Best Friend for this month's challenge!

I colored My Best Friend with Copic markers, then cut out that paw print swath on the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3. That piece of ribbon that I used to "tie" the card together has been in my stash for years.

This is Love Ewe, colored with Copic markers.  Isn't it adorable?  I have lots of people I could give this card to. I should have made 20 of them. Why didn't I?

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 3 of the papers on the Romantic Hearts collection.  Aren't they pretty?

Dandelion Thanks - for Lavinia World Challenges

It's Thursday, and a new challenge starts today at the Lavinia World Challenge Blog. Challenge #20 is underway, and they are Anything Goes, as long as you use a rubber or acrylic stamp (nothing digital).  One $15 gift certificate will be awarded each challenge for the Lavinia World Store.

I never seem to have enough thank you cards, so I made one for today's challenge, using Fairy Dandelions:

I used the smallest of the 2 Fairy Dandelions and embossed it with white embossing powder.  Then, I inked the background using Harmony water reactive inks by Spectrum Noir.  I used 2 shades of yellow and 3 shades of blue to achieve this effect.

There's a piece of designer paper from We Are 3 Digital Shop layered behind the image.  It's from the Dandelion Wishes Collection.  The "Thanks" is a die cut from Crafter's Companion.  The crinkle ribbon is from my stash.

Get out those Lavinia Stamps that we all love so much and get inky!  I'd love to see your creations, and you could win a gift certificate to the Lavinia World Store. How great would that be? If you don't have a blog, you can also enter your creations in the Anything Lavinia Facebook Group.

Dahlia Hello -- A Stencil Challenge at The Outlawz

I have a confession to make.  I've never been crazy about using stencils.  That all changed.  I had a play with a layering stencil and it was SO.MUCH.FUN!

The Outlawz has a monthly Crash Your Stash Challenge, and this month the theme is "Use a Stencil".  That's what made me decide to break out this particularly set of stencils.   I am now hooked -- at least on these layering stencils I recently purchased.  Take a look and tell me what you think:

I created this with a Crafter's Companion Dahlia Delight layering Stencil.  I'm sorry, I couldn't find it on their website to link it.  It comes with 3 5x7 stencils.  They are numbered so you know which order to use them with.  The "Hello" is a die, also from Crafter's Companion. I felt it was small enough so it wouldn't take up too much space on that pretty dahlia.  I used inks that I thought would blend well together -- all from Close To My Heart, and sponge daubers.  I used some low tack tape to hold each stencil layer in place so it wouldn't shift while I was working on it.  I had a lot of fun making this card for any occasion.

A Birthday Rose -- for We Are 3 Digital Shop

We Are 3 Digital Shop has an awesome selection of digital papers, digital images, and digital sentiments.  You'll find something for any project you are working on in the We Are 3 Etsy Shop

I recently needed a quick birthday card, and used a digital image along with 2 digital papers, and made a quick birthday party, all with We Are 3 Digital Shop products:

The Rose Bud digital image comes in both black & white and pre-colored, and both jpg and png.  I used the pre-colored version here.

The Happy Birthday papers match it perfectly, and I used 2 of them from the set on this card. There are 8 altogether in the pack.

The 2 dies that I used are from Paper Wishes.  I used a water based ink from Spectrum Noir (Harmony) in Winter Rose to ink around the image. A little Timeless Twine finishes it off.

I hope you check out all the awesome products at We Are 3 Digital Shop.  You won't be disappointed!

Love You -- An Outlawz Wednesday Sketch

I had some energy and a couple free hours Saturday, so I play with some new supplies.  I used the current sketch at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  It leant itself perfectly with a new cut and foil die I got. Here's what I created:

I created this with a Foil Stamp N Cut die from Crafter's Companion. It is the Gemini Elements Radiating Love You Foil Die.  I used my  Crafter's Companion Gemini Foilpress machine to foil it with a hot press technique.

Here's the sketch I used at The Outlawz Sketch Wednesday Challenge. As you can see, I followed it very closely.

It's been awhile since I've had the energy to play along with the sketch challenge, so it feels good to join in this go-around.

Cupid's Heart -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

All Dressed Up Stamps and Kit and Clowder are having a joint event, and you get the prize.  This new release image from All Dressed Up Stamps is free. All you need to do to get it is join the Kit and Clowder group and the All Dressed Up Facebook Group, and the image is yours.  If you color it up this month, you can enter it in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge and in the All Dressed Up Blog Challenge.  You could win more ADU stamps!

Here's the adorable "Cupid's Heart", all colored up:

Since this card is for Valentine's Day, I just wanted to color her in shades of pink, and then I couldn't resist using my favorite teal colors.  Isn't she awesome?  It's certainly worth a visit to both the Kit and Clowder Group and the All Dressed Up Group to pick her up for free.

I colored Cupid's Heart with Copic markers. The sentiment is computer generated and printed on paper by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  Both designer papers on this card are from the Romantic Hearts papers.  The stitched heart dies are by Close To My Heart and are cut out on metallic matte gold paper from Anna Griffin. The layer of gold mat behind Cupid's Heart is the same paper.

Best Friends Forever -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Saturday, and every Saturday there is a new challenge at Catch the Bug Challenges, using Bugaboo Stamps. Today's challenge will go for one week, and the theme is "Child's Play".  There are many wonderful digis in the Bugaboo Stamps store that would work for that theme!

One of my best friends moved across the country several years ago, and I try to send her a card every week. I make many friendship cards with her in mind. This card is one that will be winging it's way to Idaho very soon!

This Bugaboo Stamp is called AKV Sketchy Girls.  It comes in a black & white version and a pre-colored version.  I used the pre-colored version here.

The sentiment was computer generated, and felt like it needed to be tucked in right between those two BFF's!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The blue background paper is one of the papers in the Watercolor Batik collection.  The dotted paper is from the Peppermint collection.

I hope you can join us this at Catch the Bug Challenges for our Child's Play Challenge!  We've got great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!

Take Time for.... For Bugaboo Stamps

Did you know that Monday was "Feed the Birds Day"?  You didn't?  Well, such things are celebrated over on the Catch the Bug Blog! It's Humor Me Wednesday, when all sorts of wacky (and sometimes serious) days are made note of.  My husband and I enjoy feeding birds -- and squirrels, and deer, and rabbits, and sometimes even inadvertently raccoons and bear!  So, in honor of Feed the Birds Day, here's a little inspiration for you, using a Bugaboo Stamps image, of course!

This digi stamp is called Snowman and birds (no surprise there!), and I colored Snowman and Birds with Copic markers. The sentiment is from a Stampendous acrylic set that I have. The snowflakes are dies from Lawn Fawn.

I used this week's sketch at Sketch Saturday to complete the card. Here's the sketch:

Designer papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 2 papers from  the Shabby Christmas Collection.

I  hope you visit the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented designer are celebrating today.  It's bound to be entertaining!  Then, do some shopping at Bugaboo Stamps, including picking up yesterday's New Release for 1/2 price!

Live Laugh Love Fairy -- A New Release at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Tuesday, and that's New Release, or in some case, an old release  is put in the new store as a re-release every Tuesday. For the whole week, the New Release can be yours for 1/2 price!  It's a great way to grow your Bugaboo Stamps collection!

Today's New Release is Live Love Laugh Flower Fairy. I decided to get inky with it and created this:

I  used Spectrum Noir Harmony inks and life changing brushes from Picket Fence to create this look.  The dies are by Spellbinders and made creating this shaped card quite easy.

The designer papers are newly released from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I used 2 of the papers from the Fairy Tale Collection.

Jump on over to the Bugaboo Stamp Store to get this new release, then stop by the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented designers made with it.  Color or ink it up yourself and enter it in this week's challenge, and you could win even more Bugaboo images!

Key to my Heart -- for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

Here we are the first Monday in February already.  I'm always glad to get the cold month of January behind us!  Since it's the first Monday of the month, it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges, where the challenges are always Anything Goes.

The Turner Syndrome Foundation Bog Hop is going on right now with TONS of great prizes.  The stamp set I'm using today was designed by Jan, and 100% (!) of the proceeds of the sale of this set goes to the Turner Syndrome Foundation.

This set is called The TSF Key Set and it's only $2.  It comes with several beautiful key images, several wonderful butterfly images, and 4 different sentiments.  Images are both black & white and colored. I used one of the colored versions here.

I printed the image so it would fit on my heart-shaped handled bag, then inked around the edges of the stitched oval die cut before I cut it out.  The sentiment (also from the TSF Key set) was printed on colored yardstick, then cut out with a small circle label die.

The bag is a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.

The pretty background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.   It is one of the papers in the Tea Time Collection.

I hope you can join us the next 2 week at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges. One lucky winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to the JDS Store!

You are Ear-resistable! for SheepSki Designs

February 1!  The start of a new month, and the start of a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog! The challenge will run all month, and the theme is hearts &/or flowers.

I love wildlife.  We live in a very wooded area, and can see deer, fox, rabbits, even bear on any given day.  I'm quite sure that Rocket & Rosie met and fell in love right in my front yard!

I colored Rocket & Rosie with Copic markers.  The sentiment is part of an acrylic stamp set from Technique Tuesday that seemed th fit these 2 very well!

I made the heart shaped card base from a heart shaped die and a background paper from AMB Illustrations.  Both heart shaped dies and the small ones used for embellishments are from a company no longer in business.

Hearts &/or flowers.  Its a great theme for February, and you'll find many wonderful images that fit this theme in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop.   Color one up and enter the blog challenge.  You'll find another monthly challenge in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
