Stella Says Sketch -- Bunny Style!

It's Sunday, and over on the Catch the Bug Blog, a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge is starting today.  It's all for Bugaboo Stamps, of course!

I'll show you my card first, the image I used, and eventually show you this week's sketch.  I promise!

Since Easter is so close, I thought I'd make another Easter card for today's challenge.  I used the darling Easter Bunny - Eggs digital image to create this:

I colored Easter Bunny - Eggs with Copic markers.

Here's the new sketch at Stella Says Sketch:

The current challenge will run for 2 weeks.

The papers that I used on this card are from AMB Illustrations.  I found some darling Easter papers there.  The acrylic stamp is from Crafter's Companion.  The enamel dots were from Close To My Heart.

Join us over at Catch the Bug Blog for Stella Says Sketch!

Hello Spring! For Paper ala Mode Challenge

Hellooooooo spring!  My favorite season of the year!  We're starting a new challenge today over at The Outlawz.  It's the Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge.  For the next 2 weeks, the theme is Spring &/or Easter.  Challenges are always sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop, and I used her products in the card below:

I used 2 of the beautiful papers in Margaret's Irises on this card.  There's one on the furthest layer back of the card, and one that the sentiment is one. There is a Margaret's Wreaths layer printed on to one of those Margaret's Irises papers.

The lacy doily dies are by Sharon Callis.  The 'Hello Spring' die is from Crafter's Companion.  The pretty crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art's Etsy Shop.

I hope you can join us over at the Outlawz this next 2 weeks for our Paper ala Mode Spring &/or Easter challenge.  I'd love to see what you make, and we've got great sponsors!

Charming Spring Girl

Happy Thursday, Happy Spring!  This is my 2nd post today, but I don't want to waste anytime getting this up.  While writing a post for an upcoming challenge sponsored by The Paper Shelter today (thank you!), I discovered they are having a DT call.  This is a really big deal as I don't remember the last time they had a call!  The bad news is I discovered it today, and the call ends today.  Well, in-between taking a friend to get her first Covid vaccine and some other commitments, I colored up one of the many Paper Shelter images in my collection, and made it into a card.  I love The Paper Shelter! Their images come with a black & white version, a pre-colored version, background paper, and a composition of a colored image and papers together.  This version is very easy to make into a quick card.

I colored up the darling Charming Spring Girl and created this:

I colored Charming Spring Girl with Copic markers.  She looks like she doesn't know whether to laugh or scream at that bird, doesn't she?  Ah spring, it's full of surprises!

The background die on this card is by Tutti Designs.  The Stitched oval die she is sitting on is by The Scrapping Cottage.  The floral background paper is by Crafter's Companion.  I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out with a sentiment die by Crafter's Companion.

I'll be linking this up shortly with the Paper Shelter's DT call and the following challenges:

The Paper Shelter -- add flowers (die, papers, hat)

Happy Easter to Ewe! for Bugaboo Stamps & Cute Card Thursday

It's Thursday!  It's nearly Easter, and Thursday's mean a couple of things.  There's always a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday. The theme this week is Easter.  It's also always Oldie but Goodie day at Catch the Bug Challenges for Bugaboo Stamps

I found this darling older stamps at Bugaboo Stamps that I thought would work for both design teams, and thus, both posts, so I am combining them here.  It just so happens Bugaboo Stamps is the awesome sponsor of this week's challenge at Cute Card Thursday

Here's Happy Easter to Ewe:

I colored Happy Easter to Ewe with Copic markers, then found a sketch I liked at Sketch Saturday and used it for this card.  The papers are from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment comes with the Happy Easter to Ewe image.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designer made for Oldie but Goodie Thursday over on the Catch the Bug Blog

I hope you can join us at Cute Card Thursday for our Easter Challenge. You'll find many awesome Easter images in the Bugaboo Stamps Store.  They are such an awesome sponsor!

Sakura in March -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

Happy Spring, everyone!  Easter is inching ever closer, so I couldn't pass up the chance to color up one of the beautiful floral/Spring images in the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy Shop. I'm posting on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog

For today's inspiration, I used the gorgeous image, Sakura in March:

It is a black & white image that I colored with Copic markers.  That embossed and die cut panel behind her is a die from Anna Griffin.  The cute bunny die cut has been in my stash for a long time, but was purchased from a company called Peachy Cheap.

There is a challenge underway at the Ching-Chou Kuik Blog.  The theme is Easter &/or flowers. There's still time to join us!  Visit the CCK Blog often for wonderful inspiration! For even more inspiration, try the Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook Group.  You'll find another challenge there, too.

Adventure Awaits -- An All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

Today is the 22nd of the month, and it's the day that I get to feature one of the New Release images at All Dressed Up Stamps.  There are 3 New Releases, so something for everyone!  I had the absolute joy of working with Little Camp for today's New Release:

I colored Little Camp with a combination of Copic and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Crafter's Companion.  The background paper is also from Crafter's companion.  The wonky stitched die is from Memory Box.  I used some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink around the edge of the image while still in the die.

You can find all 3 of this month's new releases and many adorable images in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

You can find more inspiration for the New Releases in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group, and on the All Dressed Up Stamps blog. Check out what the other awesome DT member have created!

Be Happy With What You Have -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and that means Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! Every Friday, there is a new freebie, given to you, the Bugaboo Stamps faithful followers for a week.  Then, next Friday, there will be another Freebie!

Today's freebie is Violet Can.  It is perfect for all your springtime projects and even Easter!

I colored Violet Can with mostly Copic markers, but used a couple Spectrum Noir Triblend brush markers on the checks on the can.

I thought this Violet Can would lend itself well to an easel card, so made this into a circle easel card.  The tone-on-tone checked paper is from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the You Know Sentiments. There are 4 in the set.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers have made with today's freebie over at Catch the Bug Blog. Then, come back tomorrow for the start of a new challenge.  You can always use your freebie to enter the challenge!

Since Easter is close, I used one of Jan's darling Easter sets for today's inspiration.  This is one of the Black & White images in the Happy Easter set:

I colored the Happy Easter image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is also part of the set.

The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's called Bokeh Blends. The Easter eggs are dies I purchased long ago.  I think they were from Peachy Cheap. The sentiment is mounted on a die from Crafter's Companion.

Thank You Tulip

It's Thursday, and this is the day that older, but much loved images are featured at Bugaboo Stamps.  You'll find all the action on on the Catch the Bug Blog.  It's also the day that a new challenge begins at Cute Card Thursday. The theme is Spring Fever.  Join us with your spring time projects this week!

When thinking about older, but well-loved images to make for today, I reached for one of my all-time Bugaboo favorites, Tulip Jar.  I've colored this image many times.  Each time, I reach for slightly different colors, so it looks different every single time.  Love this Tulip Jar!

I colored Tulip Jar with Copic markers, then cut it out with a Spellbinders rectangle die, backing it with a layer of gold, cut out with another Spellbinders die from the same set. The sentiment is also from Spellbinders.

There you have it, one of my favorite Oldies but Goodies with Tulip Jar. Check out the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented Bugaboo designers made for today, then come back tomorrow for Freebie Friday.  And, remember to link up this week at Cute Card Thursday for our Spring Fever Challenge

Spring Wanderer for Ching- Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. This week, we were challenged to use pearls, gems, or sequins on our project.  I chose to add some gems from my stash to the beautiful Spring Wanderer digital image

I colored Spring Wanderer up with Copic markers, then found several different frame dies from Crafter's Companion to complete the card.  I added the purple gems, and the card was a wrap!

Check the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog often for great inspiration and to link up to the challenge.  There's also another challenge in the CCK Facebook group

Thanks so MUSH! For Dies R Us Challenges

March 15, we're 1/2 way through this month already!  Winter is still hanging on tight here in NW Wisconsin where I live.  Oh well.  More time for crafting!  March 15 -- that means it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store

Dies R Us Challenges  is on a joint venture this challenge with Double Trouble Challenge Blog.  You can find all the details on either blog.  Basically, the theme is "Magic", or mystical.  Create a project with a magical theme, and you can enter it in both challenges.

I find gnomes very magical creatures, so when I saw this adorable set called Oh Gnome! from Lawn Fawn, I knew I needed to create with it!

I colored the Oh Gnome! figures with Copic markers, then used the corresponding Oh Gnome!  dies to cut them out. I framed them on a set of nesting dies by Nellie's Choice. The sentiment was stamped on a banner die by Lawn Fawn -- the Simple Wavy Banner Die Set

The cute mushroom background paper is by We Are 3 Digital shop. I thought it was the perfect backdrop for the Oh Gnome! magical set.

I hope you join us at Dies R Us Challenges.  You can enter an Anything Goes project, or join in our collaborative effort with Double Trouble Challenges, and make something magical!

Four our Canadian friends, check out the Didi Crafts Store.  You'll find wonderful products, and reasonable shipping.

My Turner Foundation Prize Winners and Paper ala Mode Challenge!

Woot!  Woot!  I've got lots to tell you in this post today, so stick with me to the end, please! First, since it is Saturday, there is a new challenge beginning on the Outlawz Paper ala Mode. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is Forever Love.  Interpret that however you'd like!  Wedding, anniversary, engagement?  Your choice!

As always, the challenge is sponsored by the lovely Bonnie Kohane of We Are 3 Digital Shop.  One winner from the challenge will get a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Etsy Shop.  It's a fantastic prize!

For my DT inspiration, and using all We Are 3 Digital Shop products, I made an anniversary card to fit our Forever Love theme...

The image is called Cake.  It comes in a greyscale version and a black & white version.  I used the black & white version of Cake here and colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut it. The papers are the Something Blue papers. Bonnie has a lovely set of Anniversary Sentiments, although I did not use them here, as they didn't work on the banner I wanted to use.

Now, on to the My Turner Syndrome Journey Blog Hop prize winners.  My original post is here.  I agreed to sponsor two prizes, and pictured them in that post.  I also talked of a 3rd prize if I reached 600 followers.  I have achieved that, so 3 winners are announced here!

Winners, you have 2 weeks (until March 27) to contact me by leaving a comment on this post with how I should contact you.  I will need your name (if I don't already have it), and your mailing address.

The 3 winners -- DRUM ROLL!!!!!!!  --   are!

Chosen by Random.org

#21 Denise Bryant

#8 - Verna Angerhofer

And the 600 follower prize winner is  # 41 -- Glittered Paws!

Congratulations!  There will be many more winners announced on the My Turner Syndrome Journey link

A Spring Rose -- For Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. We were given the challenge this week of using our favorite color and our least favorite color together.  This proved a real challenge for me!

I chose the color combinations of pink (a favorite) and white (difficult) for this week's post.  Using the stunning A Rose For You image, I created this:

I colored A Rose for You with Copic markers, then fussy cut her out. I cut out that pretty rose border with a create-a-card die from Crafter's Companion.  The Hello Spring is also a Crafter's Companion die.

We currently have an Easter/Spring Challenge going in all month on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  I hope you shop in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop, find your favorite new images, and join us!  There's also another challenge and more inspiration in the CCK Facebook group

Balloon Bunch Favor Box -- for Bugaboo Stamps

Hello, and happy Monday!  There are a lot of 'B' letters in the title of today's blog post.  I do not think I will try to say it 3 times fast!   I will show you my cute favor box made featuring the Balloon Bunch digital image from Bugaboo Stamps, though!  It is for today's Anything But a Card post over on Catch the Bug

I colored Balloon Bunch with Copic markers.  I created the favor box with a double sider cutting die by Crafter's Companion.  I cut out Balloon Bunch and backed it with cutting dies by Nellie's Choice.  All I'll need to do is tuck a gift certificate &/or some chocolates inside the little box, and I'll be all set to give it away!

Check out the Catch the Bug Blog today and everyday for amazing inspiration from the Bugaboo Stamps design team.

I colored the Bashful Ballerina with Copic markers, then used a set of dies from the Stamps of Life to make the card.  The papers on the card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Muddy Paws papers. The sentiment was computer generated.

Spring Jasmine -- For Ching-Chou Kuik's March Challenge

It's March, and a new challenge just got underway over on the Ching Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  The challenge has the theme this month of Easter &/or Florals, and it will the whole month of March.

I used the beautiful Spring Jasmine for this month's challenge:

This gorgeous little fairy girl is a black & white image that I colored with Copic markers. Then, I went looking for pretty dies and papers to construct the card.  The dies are by Crafter's Companion.  That pretty paper is by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the new Sweetness Papers. The rabbit die cut is from my stash, but I think it's from Peachy Cheap. The sentiment is computer generated, and placed on a banner by Crafter's Companion.

You have all month to link up to our Easter/Floral challenge.  There is also a challenge in the CCK Facebook Group, along with great inspiration both on Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration blog and in the group.  Check back often!

Fabulous -- for SheepSki Designs

It's the first of the month, and it's time for a new challenge over on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge runs all month and has the theme of "Girls, Girls, Girls".  You can find many wonderful images that fit this theme in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop.

I used the wonderful Shopping in Yorkshire for today's inspiration:

I colored Shopping in Yorkshire with Copic markers.  Then, I inked a background with Spectrum Noir Harmony Water Reactive Inks.  That brick die is a card creator die by Crafter's Companion. The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a die by Frantic Stamper.

You have all month to join us at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog for our 'Girls, Girls, Girls' challenge, so I really hope you do!  I'd love to see what you create!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

I {Heart} Dogs -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's March (already!) and we're starting a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  Thanks to all of you who entered last month's challenge!  This month, the theme is "Cute Critters", and although you will find many cute critters in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop,  few, in my opinion, are cuter than this digital creation called, I Heart Dogs.

I colored I Heart Dogs with Copic markers, then used a slimline die to cut it out.  It's by Tutti Designs, as it the heart framed slimline die.  I got both of them at the Dies R Us Store. The stitched heart dies are by Lawn Fawn, also purchased in the Dies R Us Store

Happy Easter! For Dies R Us Challenges

It's March 1 (already!), and that means it's the start of a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  The challenge will run for 12 weeks, with the next one beginning March 15.  They are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a die from a brand sold in the Dies R Us Store. They sell lots & lots of dies (plus stamps and others great supplies!) so this is very easy to do!

Easter is not that far away, so I thought it was time to get a start on my Easter cards.  Besides, we are in the middle of an Arctic cold snap, and I need some bright Springtime colors in my life 😀.  Here's what I created for today's challenge:

I started by inking my background.  I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks found in the Dies R Us Store.  The rabbit focal point of the card is called Bunny Silhouette, and is by Memory Box. The frame is called Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangles Frames.  The sentiment is a Memory Box Mini Vintage Varsity Happy Spring.

I hope you share your creativity and join us for our Anything Goes challenge At Dies R Us Challenges. You can win a gift certificate, and 3 Designer Choice awards will be given each challenge.

I want to let you know that the Dies R Us Inspiration team is having a DT call.  It's a great company to design for, and a fun team to be on.  Here's all the details, if you are interested!

It's the first Monday of the month, so a new challenges starts today at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges.  The challenge is always Anything Goes, and will run until April 4 (which happens to be Easter).

Jan has a new released set that I happen to love.  It is uplifting, and appropriate for many occasions.  The set is called Up, Up, Away.   It has several images and quite a few sentiments. Here's what I created with one of the precolored images:

Isn't it adorable! I printed the Up, Up, Away image onto a piece of paper from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the Rainy Days papers.  The sentiment is also from the Up, Up, Away set

I hope you join us this month at JDS Challenges for our Anything Goes event.  We've got great prizes that you could win!
