I am barely getting this done in time for the Outlawz Monthly Progressive Challenge. This is for the month of July.
The free image this month is by Laurian McDonald. Here's what I created with it:
The poem is a rubber stamp I've had for a long time. It's by Northwoods Stamp Company. The papers on this card are by Close To My Heart. The gold stars are from my stash.
I colored the lighthouse digital image with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.
August, here we come!

With Sympathy - for Great Impressions Stamps
Today is my day to post on the Great Impressions Stamps blog -- always a great pleasure for me! I LOVE their stamps!
I needed a sympathy card awhile back, and I wanted it to be beautiful. I naturally reached for my Great Impressions Stamps to create it...
The Butterfly Frame (H226) and the With Sympathy (B206) seemed like a perfect combination. I stamped the H226- Butterfly Frame onto Carta Bella Kraft card stock, then colored it with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils. I then fussy cut the frame.
6x6 papers are by My Mind's Eye - Hello, Gorgeous. Lace/gem trim is from Prima Marketing.
Did you join in the Great Impressions Stamps Anything Goes challenge this month? There's another one starting very soon!
Don't forget to shop in the Great Impressions Stamps store to find more elegant stamps like those used in today's card.

Caught a Bug? for Oddball Art
We're 1/2 way through this month's challenge, so it's time for a bit of mid-month inspiration on the Oddball Stamps Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "Little Child" (for a kid).
There are many wonderful images in the Oddball Art Etsy Store that will work for this challenge! I decided on this one:
This card uses image #283, Pugsy Bugsy.
I colored Pugsy Bugsy (#283) with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on watercolor paper, then used a Spellbinders die in 2 sizes to frame Pugsy Bugsy.
Papers for this card are by Doodlebug Designs -- Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad. The sentiment was computer generate and cut out with 2 dies by Paper Wishes. Pink gems are by Close to My Heart.

Wishing You a Doggone Good Day! for Crafty Sentiments
It's Tuesday, and I have the pleasure of hosting this week's challenge on the Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog. This week, our theme is 'Animals'. The Crafty Sentiments Designs store has lots or rubber and digital stamps that are perfect for this theme!
I used Cookie -- Chasing Ball, a rubber stamp, to create this:
I colored the rubber stamp, Cookie -- Chasing Ball, with Copic markers. This stamp reminds me very much of my dog, who always has a tennis ball within reach!
I created the shaker portion of the card using Lawn Fawn dies and sequins from Craftin' Desert Divas. The papers are digital, purchased at Snap Click Supply. They are Echo Park Bark. The sentiment has been in my collection forever. It is a long-time retired stamp from Close To My Heart. The checked ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I had so much fun creating this card! I hope you can join in on the fun, too, and link up with our Animal challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog. I would LOVE to see what you make, and there are great prizes to win, too!

Thanks! for Great Impressions Stamps
Yea! It's Saturday, my day to post on the Great Impressions Stamps blog.
I recently needed to make a dozen thank you cards. I wanted a design I could mass produce that would still look like some time had been put into them.
As usual, I reached for Great Impressions Stamps. I used H251 - Tall Tulips and some distress inks to create these cards:
I used distress markers directly on the H251 - Tall Tulips rubber stamp. After huffing a bit of moisture on it, I stamped it on the white paper.
A strip of designer paper and a couple of dies (by Paper Wishes and Craftin' Desert Divas) finish off the card. The card base is from Simon Says Stamp.
Great Impressions Stamps has an Anything Goes Challenge going on all month. Come join the fun here!
Don't forget to visit the Great Impressions Stamps Store to see the other elegant floral stamps, plus all the other wonderful Great Impressions Stamps.

Life's Hard - Eat Ice Cream! for Imagine That! Digis by Kris
Happy Saturday! I hope life isn't too hard for you, but you still have my permission to eat ice cream, or gelato, or whatever your favorite iced concoction is!
I'm posting today for Imagine That! Digis by Kris. Kris recently offered an ice cream freebie file in the Imagine That! digistamp Facebook Group. I decided to take advantage of her generosity and create something with one of the ice cream cones in the free file:
I created this as a shaped card so it can also be entered in the shaped card challenge going on over in the Imagine That! Creative Playground.
I paper pieced the ice cream cone, using digi papers from the Ice Cream Parlour Digi Paper Pack. I used 5 of the papers in this pack on this card. I love how they all coordinate!
The sentiment is part of the Freebie set offered in the Imagine That! Digistamp Facebook group. Look for it in the files.
I cut the card base out on my Silhouette Cameo, using a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store. There's a Die-namics cross stitched oval die, an American Crafts label die, and some Close To My Heart Glimmer trim and card stock to complete this card.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

A Note to say Hello -- for Julia Spiri
It's time for a bit of mid-month inspiration over on the Julia Spiri Challenge blog. The theme is always 'Anything Goes -- with a twist', if you choose to participate. This month's twist is At The Beach or Sea.
I have a little inspiration for you using a Julia Spiri image. I love to color flowers, and since our mid-month inspiration posts can be anything we choose, I chose this beautiful floral arrangement called, 'Wedding Flowers'.
I colored 'Wedding Flowers' with Copic markers, then stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp on it.
The card base was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo. The file is from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. The Wedding Flowers were cut out with a Spellbinders die. The designer paper is Echo Park's Neapolitan Dots & Stripes. The mulberry flowers were purchased at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Look! Ruby Slippers! for Lacy Sunshine
Hello, fellow crafters. I'm posting today for Lacy Sunshine and Coloring Without Boundaries.
Today's coloring is from Heather's Valentin's Lacy Sunshine's Wizard of Oz coloring book, available at Amazon.com.
Let me introduce you to "Look! Ruby Slippers!"
Here's a step-by-step of how I did this:
I wanted everything but the ruby slippers and the yellow brick road to be muted, so I started coloring the slippers and the road:
Slipper Copic colors -- R21, R22, R24, R27, R29, R39
Yellow brick road -- I started with a base coat of Y32, then layered on YR23 and YR24. It wasn't as bright as I wanted it, so I went over it all with Y02.
Next, the house:
Siding -- C5, C3, C1, C00
Shutters -- BV000, BV01, BV04, BV02
Roof -- BV11, BV13, BV17
Bushes -- G40, G43, G82, G94, G99

Flowers in bushes -- YR61, YR65, YR68, YG17
Tall Flowers:
Leaves -- YG03, YG63, YG67
Blooms -- R81, R83, R85
Grass -- G000, G00, G02
Sky -- B0000, B000, B00, B01
Wood base -- E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E39
Then, I used cranberry Stickles on the ruby slippers to make them sparkle. Because, really, what are ruby slippers without some bling?
There's an Anything Goes challenge going on at the Lacy Sunshine blog. It goes all month, so I hope you join in on the fun! I have 2 Facebook groups to check out, too. There's the Coloring Without Boundaries Facebook group and the Lacy Sunshine Color N Craft Community. Heather has many wonderful coloring books for sale at Amazon.com, so go shopping!

Sending a Big Hug -- for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday
I'm guest designing again today for The Outlawz Challenge Blog. It's Twisted Thursday! Today's twist -- Christmas in July. I always like an opportunity to get a Christmas card made before the season gets here!
The sponsor for today's challenge is From the Heart Stamps.
I used Snowman Hugs and colored the image with Copic markers. The sentiments is part of the Snowman Hugs set.
I created the shaker part of the card with dies from Lawn Fawn. The sequins are from Craftin' Desert Divas. The fancy edges are cut with dies from Paper Wishes. Papers are from Echo Park. The bow is from 3 Girl JAM.
I hope you can join the fun this week at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday -- don't forget the optional Christmas in July twist. I'd love to see what you make!

It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge blog. This week, our theme is a favorite -- Anything Goes! Come join the fun!

An Extra Yummy Birthday -- for Imagine That! Digis by Kris
Yeehaw! I've somehow snagged an awesome guest designing gig for the next 3 (three!!!) months! I've been asked to post twice monthly for Imagine That! Digis by Kris, and I am thrilled!
Today, I have a card I colored with Copic markers. It features the following 3 sets:
After that introduction, let's get to it!
I printed the Ice Cream Boy digi on a large piece of Copic X Press It paper. Once I got the coloring the way I like it, I cut it in a 4.5 x 4.5 inch square. Then, I found the sentiment I wanted. This was perhaps the hardest part of the whole project, as there are many fun ones in the Ice Cream Sentiments Set! Once the sentiment was ready, I printed some papers from the Ice Cream Parlour Digital Paper Pack in colors that matched my coloring.
The frames are from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment flag is from Top Dog Dies. The sequins are from Craftin' Desert Divas.
Imagine That! Digis by Kris has a month-long challenge in the Creative Playground. This month, the theme is "fancy folds". Come join the fun! Check out the fun Imagine That Digi Stamps Facebook group, too, where there's another Facebook challenge.
A huge thank you to Kristy Breach and Lisa Decosse for this opportunity!

Thinking of You -- and Great Impressions Stamps
I'm excited to say that I'm back for another term with Great Impressions Stamps! I had so much fun the last 6 months that I'm giving it another whirl. I love my Saturdays posting and stamping with Great Impressions Stamps!
I have a "thing" for Harry, the delightful hedgehog, found in the Great Impressions Stamps Store. Today, he is riding in his own flower filled red wagon.
This card uses E875 - Harry with Daisies and B195 Playful Thinking of You.
I colored E875 - Harry with Daisies with Copic markers. I cut the playful Thinking of You out with an American Crafts cloud die to make the card more playful.
Papers for this card are from Echo Park. Tag die is from Craftin' Desert Divas. Shimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.
Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring MOD Squad challenges this week. I used this image as inspiration for my card.
Come link up, and win some wonderful Great Impressions Stamps for yourself!
