Home. We've probably all been spending more time there than we've planned on. Hopefully it's a happy place for you. Home for me is where my husband is, my Golden Retriever is, and all my crafting goodies are. It's definitely my happy place! So, when I saw all these home themed goodies in the We Are 3 Digital Shop, I knew I had to create something special with them!
Isn't that fun? I don't know why, but as soon as I saw those 2 Home digital images, this box card idea popped into my head. I used the pre-printed versions of the Home digital images here, but they also come in black & white so you can color them however you'd like. I used two of the Homeland papers on this box card, and the sentiment is one of four from the Home sentiment set. All of these products work so well together!
The box card is a set of dies from Crafter's Companion. Once I got it figured out, it was very fun to work with!
Visit the We Are 3 Digital Shop and see all the wonderful products there.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

Wishing You Sunshine -- for Bugaboo Stamps
Today is Oldie but Goodie day for Bugaboo Stamps. Some of the favorite digis that maybe haven't seen some love in a while are featured on the Catch the Bug Blog.
I love to color flowers, especially this time of year, and while I don't get out my colored pencils very often, when I do, I like to pair them with Kraft paper. That's what I did with the Bugaboo Stamps digital image, Make it Snappy Floral Mom's Day:
This image comes with 2 versions. The other one says, "Happy Mother's Day" at the top. You can see some cute examples of what others have done if you put MISFloralMomsDay in the search at Bugaboo Stamps (or just click the link provided, of course).
I used Lyra Rembrandt pencils on Kraft for this image. I'd almost forgotten I had them, so they were fun to play with -- nice and smooth and easy to layer with. The floral background paper is from Close To My Heart. The Sunshine sentiment and the stamped"wishing you" are a set from Crafter's Companion.
I hope you visit the Catch the Bug Blog today to see what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designer are featuring on Oldie but Goodie Thursday. You won't be disappointed!

Sunflower Hello -- a New Release for All Dressed Up Stamps
Today is one of the days where New Releases are featured at All Dressed Up Stamps. Every month, Wendy draws 4 new images, and twice each month, the design team features the New Releases. Today is one of those days! I love New Release days! Today, I get to show you the absolutely adorable Sunflower...
I colored Sunflower with Copic markers, then used a couple of Spellbinders dies to cut her out. The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 2 of the papers in the Sunflower Collection. The pretty yellow crinkle ribbon bow is from 3 Girl JAM (no longer in business). The 'Hello' sentiment is from Frantic Stamper.
Sunflower is just one of many, many great stamps in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop. I hope you check them all out and do some shopping! Check out the All Dressed Up Facebook Group to see what the other designers made with the New Releases, and the All Dressed Up Stamps Blog. There are monthly challenges you can enter to win All Dressed Up Stamps both places! Get coloring!

The sponsor for this week's challenge is Conie Fong. She has some wonderful images, including this one!
This card features the Conie Fong image, Flowers in Vase, Colored with Copic markers. I used a die from Crafter's Companion for the sentiment and cut it out twice, offsetting it slightly. I added the butterfly die for a little extra bling.
Each week's challenge last 2 weeks, but a new challenge starts each week. I do hope you'll link up your hand colored images. I'd love to see your creations, and with our wonderful sponsors, there are wonderful prizes you can win!

Good Friends -- A Reminder for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges
I have this card on my blog today as a reminder that we are 1/2 way through the month for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges. The challenges are always anything goes. There are 2 winners each month - one using a Jan's Digi Stamp image, and a random winner. There are also 3 designer choice awards given out.
If you follow my blog at all, you know I love dogs, and will take any opportunity I can find to create a dog related project. When Jan released this new set, I was in doggy heaven! This is the black and white version of A Boy and His Dog:
I colored A Boy and His Dog with Copic Markers. The shading was pretty easy because Jan kindly gave the colorist lines to indicate where the shading should be. The is also a colored version in the set. I used one of the sentiments that came with the image. There are several more great ones, too.
Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 2 of the Dog Love Papers.
Remember, the challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges is always Anything Goes, and you could win wonderful images -- like this one! I'd love to see what you create!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- May Linky Party
2 Crafty Critter Crazies -- ATG with a Critter

Rose Gift Bag -- for Bugaboo Stamps
It's Monday, and this is the day for "any project but a card" to be featured on the Catch the Bug Blog at Bugaboo Stamps. I love making gift bags and boxes for friends and putting chocolates or gift cards, socks, or candles -- some little gift inside just to let them know I'm thinking of them -- so, that's what I did for today's ABC post at Catch the Bug!
This gift bag features the Bugaboo Stamps digi, Rose Bud Tag. I colored Rose Bud Tag with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out. It was by far the easiest part of the whole project!
The gift bag is a set of dies from Tonic Studios. It's called the Crochet Lace Gift Bag. It is large enough to hold LOTS of chocolate, so the recipient will be very happy with this one! Here's another view of the bag and the Rose Bud Tag:
I hope you visit the Catch the Bug Blog today to see what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps design team member have created. You won't be disappointed.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

You Did It! for Dies R Us Challenge Blog
It's the 15th of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog. Every challenge runs for 2 weeks, and it has a theme. The theme that starts today is, "Graduation/Congratulations".
I truly feel sorry for this year's graduating classes. They are missing out on many opportunities because if this pandemic. No large gatherings tend to put a damper in graduation festivities!
I do know some graduation seniors from the local high school, and I've been making them cards. We can at least acknowledge them with handmade cards (and of course CASH!)
Here's my card for today's challenge:
The focal point of this card -- the "You Did It" sentiment, is from Frantic Stamper. The school colors here are purple and white, so I mounted the You Did It on purple card stock, and cut the lettering on white. The stars are by Technique Tuesday, but these stars from Amy Design would work equally as well.
There are other great project from the Dies R Us Challenge team that I hope you take time to study and enjoy, and I hope they inspire you to create a graduation/congratulations themed project of your own. One $10 gift certificate will be awarded and 3 designer choice awards.
.Dies R Us now has a sister store with warehouses in the USA and Canada called Didi Crafts.
It will ship to both the US and Canada. Didi Crafts will carry some of the same products as DRU, but most will be different. Now our Canadian friends don't have to worry about huge taxes or shipping fees. How great is that!?!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
As you like It -- Favorite color to pair with purple (I paired gold as it is the school colors)

Life is Better with Friends -- for Bugaboo Stamps
Happy Mother's Day to all you women out there! You've all been role models to someone in your life and deserve to be celebrated! Whether you are a role model for your own children, the neighbors, friends, grandchildren, 4-legged kids, whatever it is, you have made an impact on others and today is your day! Coronavirus or not, celebrate!
There is a Bugaboo Stamps Stella Says Sketch challenge starting today over on the Catch the Bug blog. For the rest of the summer months, Stella Says Sketch Challenges will be monthly so we can enjoy the warmth and sunshine a bit more. Plus, you have more time to enter the challenge before another one rolls around. Since it's Mother's Day, I thought a floral arrangement was in order, and an outdoor arrangement at that:
This card uses the Bugaboo digi Flower Watering Can, colored with Copic markers.
Here's the sketch for this week's Stella Says Sketch:
You can see I followed it very closely. I don't mess with Stella, LOL!
The designer papers and sentiment on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The papers are part of the newly released Darcy's Garden Collection (created for We Are 3 teammate Darcy's birthday), and one of the Friendship Sentiments.
I hope you join us for Bugaboo Stamps Stella Says Sketch Challenge at Catch the Bug Blog. There are wonderful prizes that you can win, and I'd love to see what you create!

Seaside Fun -- for The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode
It's Saturday, and that's always a fun day to play in my craft room, although this time of year, yard work and other outdoor activities vie for my time. But you know the saying, "I'd rather be crafting!" I've joined the design team at The Outlawz. It's been my favorite place to play for a few years now, so it just feel right to be on one of the teams there. What feels even more comfortable and familiar is that the Saturday Paper ala Mode team is sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop. I've been on Bonnie's team for some time now, so I feel like I'm family already.
Most of the challenges at The Outlawz, including the Saturday challenge run for 2 weeks. There is a theme each time. The theme for the next two weeks is "Seaside Fun". And speaking of Seaside Fun, I used a collection called Seaside Collage, along with a Seaside Mermaid and sentiment, all from We Are 3 Digital Shop:
I cut this easel card out on my Silhouette Cameo 3. I thought she looked rather pretty on that Easel, with that nice sentiment to "anchor" her.
Of course, you don't have to use a mermaid theme for Seaside Fun -- break out those photos from your trip to the beach and scrapbook them, find those seahorse dies and create a card -- whatever you like! Then, come join us at The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode! The prize is a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Digital Shop!

Look Hoo's Graduating! for Bugaboo Stamps
It's Friday! Yes, Friday! and that means it's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! How do I know? Every Friday is Freebie Friday! And the image is free for an entire week! Yea!
Today's image is perfect for graduation. I feel very sorry for this year's class of graduates. They are missing out in ways they will probably never realize, and the class of 2020 will always be remembered as the Pandemic class, I'm afraid.
But, back to Freebie Friday...
Here's Bird Greetings - Graduating:
I colored Bird Greetings - Graduating with Copic markers. The school colors in the small town where I live are purple, white, and orange, so I used those on the bird, scroll, and hat. I found a sketch that I thought would work well for this card at this current sketch challenge at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch:
As you can see, I followed it pretty closely. I added another banner shape for the sentiment, and that's the only deviation.
Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. There's a piece from the Trees Collection, and a piece from the Distressed Burlap Collection.
The sentiment comes with the Bird Greetings - Graduating Image. It's all free this week! Grab it, then enter it in this week's challenge that starts tomorrow at Catch The Bug Challenges. Check out what the other talented designers created while you are there!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Sending Good Thoughts -- for Jan's Digistamps Challenges
Today starts a new challenge at Jan's Digistamps Challenges. The challenges are now monthly, but they are still anything goes, and we mean anything! Whether you have been knitting, glass blowing, gardening, scrapbooking, cross stitching, quilting -- anything - take a picture of it and enter it in the challenge. We'd love to see what you've been creating. Of course, we'd love to see something created with a JDS image. There will be a gift certificate for a JDS creation, and another general draw, plus some design team favorites.
Jan has the best pre-printed images I have ever seen. They are often way better than I could ever color them. That was the case with the set I created with today, Bonnet Bouquet, so I used the pre-printed image for my card.
The sentiment that I used on this card is included with the Bonnet Bouquet set. I cut the the bonnet image out, but inked the outside image with a Spectrum Noir Baby Blue Opaque inkpad. The background paper is by We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is a piece of the Springtime papers, printed on light blue card stock. The crinkle ribbon is by D.L. Art, and was found in her Etsy Shop. I created the shaped card with dies from Crafter's Companion.
I hope you link up your creative projects this month at Jan's Digistamps Challenges. I'd love to see what you create, and I'd love for you to have a chance to win the gift certificates to the Jan Mahew Shop.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

For Mom -- and SheepSki Designs
It's May 1st, and that means there is a new challenge starting today on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. This month, the theme is 'For the Girls'.
Since Mother's Day is just over a week away here in the US, I decided to make my DT project a card for my Mother-in-law. She likes flowers, so I looked through the many beautiful digis in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop until I found exactly what I was looking for - Cornflowers!
I colored the Cornflowers image with Copic markers, then cut it out with two size of stitched ovals from Spellbinders dies. The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store with papers by AMB Illustrations. The hanging hearts is a die from Crafter's Companion.
The 'For the Girls' challenge can be found on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog, and it runs the month of May! I hope you join us!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art Thankful Thursday -- Mother's Day
Crafty Chicks Challenge -- ATG
Crafty Gals Corner -- Spring

Woof to You -- for All Dressed Up Stamps
It's May 1, and I don't know where April went, even though I didn't do much with the month. I did have more time for crafting, and I enjoyed that! May 1 - that means there's a new challenge starting today in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. This month's theme is Flowers (either in the image or embellishments). The challenge will run for the month of May. You will find many wonderful images that will work for this theme in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.
I don't know how I overlooked this adorable image for as long as I did, being such a dog lover, but when looking for an image with flowers in it, I found the Little Scottie Dog digital image. I knew immediately that it had to be what I colored up for this month. Here's Little Scottie Dog:
I colored Little Scottie Dog with Copic markers. I found the puppy papers at AMB Illustrations. The colors seemed like a perfect match. The Woof! sentiment is an acrylic stamp from a company that is no longer in business. The pink heart stickers are from my stash. This adorable Little Scottie Dog was a joy to color! You will find him and many more wonderful images in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.
I hope you join us this month in the All Dressed Up Facebook Challenge for our flowers theme. Remember, the flowers can be either in the image or in the embellies. I'd love to see what you make, and you could win your choice of some wonderful digis from the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Oceans of Love -- for Dies R Us Challenge Blog
It's the first of the month, so there's a new challenge starting today on the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is "Seas the Day" (water themed). We'd love to see any project with a water or beach theme, made with a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store.
I haven't done any paper piecing in awhile, so I thought it was time for bit on today's Seas the Day themed card:
I started with the lighthouse die from Die-versions. I cut it out twice. Once in the grey buffalo plaid paper from We Are 3 Digital Shop, and one in the Blue Pastel Burlap paper, also from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The sun is from a Spellbinders set, but just about any sun die would work, including this set from Impression Obsession. The seagulls are in a Lighthouse set from Elizabeth Craft Designs. They, and the torn paper "sand" were made with the same paper as the light house. It is part of the Plaids Stripes Neutrals collection at We Are 3 Digital Shop. The sentiment, also from We Are 3 is one of the Mermaid Wishes sentiments, and it's printed on Pastel Burlap paper in orange, and cut out with a Nellie's multi frame die that I purchased as part of a European Die weekend sale.
There are other great project from the Dies R Us Challenge team that I hope you take time to study and enjoy, and I hope they inspire you to create a water-themed project of your own.
