Autumn Bookmark -- for Not Just Cards

Not too long ago, I won a challenge on a brand new challenge blog called Not Just Cards Challenge Blog.  Then, I guest designed for them.  Well, one thing led to another, and now I am on the design team, committing to a once-a-month project using some of my favorite digi images, Stamp Art Designs by Kathryne.
I enjoy stretching myself, occasionally making something other than a card.  For today's project, this delight image made the perfect bookmark:

This scarecrow image is called Autumn Smile.

I colored it with Close To My Heart water based markers and a water brush.
Here's another view:

Frightfully Delightful for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and time for a new challenge at the QKR Stampede challenge blog.  Our theme this week is "Frightfully Delightful".  I chose a frightful? image to work to make this card:

This image, called "Trick or Treat" (digi9209), is available in the QKR Stampede store. I colored her with Copic markers.
Papers are from Close To My Heart.  I used some alphabet stickers for the sentiment.  Lifestyle Crafts and Spellbinders dies were used to make the circles and scalloped circle. The ghost is an embellishment for Making Memories that I've had forever.
This card, like other Halloween cards I've been making, is heading for the nursing home.  I'm trying to get enough made for all the special ladies and gents that live where I work.  I'm slowly getting there!  How many more days until Halloween? I better get busy! Eek!

2 Cute 2 Spook for Delightful Challenges

It's Thursday, and time for another challenge at Delightful Challenges.  This week's theme is 'Delightfully Frightful'.
I've been steadily working at making Halloween cards for my nursing home residents, concentrating more on the 'delightful' than the 'frightful' side of Halloween. Digital Delights from Louby Loo images make it very easy to make delightful cards for any season!

This cute little guy is Weenie Patchy. It is available in a colored and uncolored version.

I colored Weenie Patchy and his buddy, the frog with Copic markers.  The papers I used are from Close To My Heart. The star chipboard is from UmWow Studio.  The edges of the papers were inked with CTMH Gypsy ink.
The sentiment, "2 cute 2 spook" is also from Digital Delights from Louby Loo. It is part of the Halloween Sentiments set.

Our sponsor this week is Quilling Supply Plus.  They are offering a $15 store certificate.

Join us this week, linking us your Halloween projects. It'll be Delightfully frightful fun!

Happy Fall, Shaker Style, for Snapdragon Snippets

Today is an exciting day for me.  It is my first day posting for my newest design team -- Snapdragon Snippets!  I was on the sister team, SVG Attic last term, but I've been asked to switch my talents and energies to the SDS design team.  So, here we go!
I've been enthralled with Jodie Warner's files for quite some time now.  She recently released some WondErFul new canning jar files, and I want to make many things with them.  When I saw one of the canning jar card files, I immediately thought - "shaker card"!  So, shaker card it is!

I used the Mason Jar Window Gift Card Box file found in the Silhouette Online Store, or the JGW Neighbor Gift Set at the SVG Attic Store.
Papers, feather stamps, and sentiment stamp are from Close To My Heart.  The Fall-colored sequins are from Bella Creationz.
Snapdragon Snippets files have a world of possibilities.  This is going to be a great adventure!

Amour -- for DigiStamps4Joy

It's Wednesday, and time for some mid-challenge inspiration at DigiStamps4Joy.  The theme this challenge is "Anniversary". There are many great digis that fit this theme in the DigiStamps4Joy store.
Here's my take on the Anniversary theme:

I used the DigiStamps4Joy digi, "Flower Frame" on this card.  I colored it with ShinHan Touch Twin markers.

The designer papers and glitter ribbon are from Paper Wishes.  The "Amour" sentiment, die cut hearts, and glitter tape are from Close To My Heart.
Check out the other wonderful projects from this super talented design team, and then make your own 'anniversary' themed project. You have until October 14th.

Boo! for Fitztown

Happy Hump Day, crafty friends!  I have the pleasure of posting on the Fitztown challenge blog today, with a Halloween inspirational post.  If you are a regular follower of my blog, you know I've been busy making Halloween cards for my residents at the nursing home where I work.  I made another simple one that I can easily make more of using a fun Fitztown image:

I used Fitztown image Halloween 7 on this card.  Halloween 7 is actually a set of 4 Jack-O-Lanterns. I used 1 of the images from the set, and colored it with Copic markers.
The pumpkin shaped card is from the Silhouette Online Store.  I cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo. I used a couple of Lifestyle Crafts circle dies, some Orange Licorice Timeless Twine, and some letter stickers from my stash.
Now, if I can only get about 50 more of these made.  Hmmm. Maybe?

I made a 3D project for the hop today, using some really fun Halloween products available in the Bella Creationz store.
The designer paper, the Halloween Flair, the die cut bat, and the twine are all part of the Halloween Mini Kit. I used Orange Licorice and Solid Black Timeless Twine on this box.
I cut the 3D box out on my Cricut. I used the Close To My Heart Cricut Artiste Cartridge.
