Anywhere South -- for QKR Stampede

Is it cold where you live?  Can you top windchills of -30 degrees?  That's what we had this morning.  Baby, it's cold outside!  And, that is the timely theme this week at QKR Stampede
I am hitching a ride with this colorful bird.  We're outta here!

This is QKR Stampede digi "Anywhere South" (digi17613).  I colored him with Copic markers, then cut him out with a few sizes of Lifestyle Crafts circle dies.  I used the same dies to create the card base (Close To My Heart Kraft card stock). The plaid paper is American Crafts -- from the Hot Cocoa 6x6 paper pad.  3 Girl JAM Tuxedo Black ribbon from the Celebrations Bundle finishes off the card.
Join us this week at QKR Stampede for our "Baby, It's Cold Outside" challenge.  Stay in, craft, stay warm!

Winter Gift Bag -- for 3 Girl JAM

Hello, and happy Friday, everyone!  Is it cold where you live?  We've been below zero for days now, so when I can, I'm staying in and crafting.  I have a winter gift bag to share with you today.

This 3D Snowflake favor bag is from the Silhouette Design Store. It went together quickly, and only needed some 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon from the Seasons Bundle.

The papers are from Close To My Heart.
Stay warm, stay inside, and get your craft on!

Hello! for IDCB

It's Wednesday, and time for a new challenge at Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog (IDCB).  This week, our sponsor is The Paper Shelter.  I had a great time with the image and digital paper I was provided with!

The image and paper are both from Capture the Moment.  I printed the paper out at 5x5 inches.  Then, I placed it on a Cricut 12x12 mat, and cut a 5 inch tag from the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge.  I fussy cut the darling girl holding the camera -- she's the pre-colored version -- mounting her on a piece of Juniper CTMH card stock.  I used Thickers for the 'Hello' sentiment.  There's some 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon and Timeless Twine on here, too.
Join us this week at IDCB where it's always Anything Goes!

Shake those Mittens! for The Cutting Cafe

It's c-c-c-cold here in Wisconsin!  -20 degrees this morning!  One must bundle up in scarves, hats, warm coats, and of course, mittens!  I've grown to love shaker cards.  The Cutting Cafe has many different options.  This one, from The Christmas Shaped Shaker Set, seems to fit our Wisconsin weather perfectly!

I used vellum on this card, thinking it looked a bit like snow.  I filled the shaker with sequins from Bella Creationz
The papers for this Mitten Shaped Shaker card are from Close To My Heart -- The Snowhaven Collection.  The snowflakes are dies from Lawn Fawn. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Check out The Cutting Cafe blog tomorrow, Jan. 7, to see the incredible inspiration from this talented team.  You won't be disappointed!  And, if you leave a comment on the blog, you could win a chance at 3 sets of your own! How fun is THAT?
Stay warm, my friends, stay warm!

I want Peace (and chocolate) for Timeless Twine

Hurray!  It's Monday!  And I get to be the first Twine-ista of 2015 to post on the Timeless Twine blog.  Since it's so early in the new year, I thought I'd share my new year's resolution with all of you.
This year, in an attempt to actually keep it for a change, I've resolved to eat MORE chocolate.  Yes.  I think I can keep this one.
This sentiment, from Unity Stamp Company, was the perfect fit for my resolution. Of course, Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz products tie the whole card together.  You'll see!

I cut the tag out on my Cricut Expression 2, using the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge on Close To My Heart Kraft card stock. Then, I stamped the Chocolate Bar sentiment. I used American Crafts Hot Cocoa 6x6 papers on this card.
The baker's twine is Cherry Red. The sequins are Clearly Beautiful Loose Mixed Sequins.

There will be a whole year of great inspiration from this year's Creative Crew so make sure to visit each day!
I'm off to eat more chocolate!

Think Snow! for Eureka Stamps

Oh, the weather outside is frightful! And it's time for a new challenge at Eureka Stamps.  We have below zero here today, and it's supposed to dip towards the -20 mark the next couple nights!  Brrr!
Our challenge theme this week at Eureka Stamps fits right in with the cold weather -- it's Snowman or Snowflakes.
I got out my airbrush for this challenge!

I used 3 different colors of Copic markers and used the airbrush to make the swirls and background on the Eureka Stamps Snowflake Oval (digi27004).  The sentiment (digi6601, is inked around the edges with Juniper ink from Close To My Heart.  The card base is Pixie from CTMH, and the sequins are also from CTMH.
Come join us this week for our 'Snowman or Snowflakes' challenge at Eureka Stamps.

Warm Winter Wishes

It's Monday, and a new challenge starts today at Not Just Cards. I usually try to stick with the premise of the challenge and make something besides a card, but this image that I used today BEGGED to be made into a card.  I gave in!

This image is from The East Wind -- one of our sponsors this week.  I love their images, so was so pleased when I got the opportunity to color this one!  I used Copic markers and some Wink of Stella glitter pens on this.
The designer papers are from BoBunny.  The glitter paper is from American Crafts.  I used 2 sizes of a Spellbinders label die to cut this out, and Cheery Lynn Snow Flower dies for the snowflakes. The card base is Close To My Heart Bamboo.
Join us this week at Not Just Cards -- it's anything goes!
