Photo Love -- for Timeless Twine

It's Move it Monday today on the Timeless Twine blog, and I have a card with a couple different types of movement on it.  This month, we're also featuring the "Oh, Snap" stamp set by Bella Creationz.
Here's one view of my creation:
I found this camera shaker card file in the Silhouette Design Store.  I filled the shaker with Bella Creationz sequins to create movement.  I used the 'Oh, Snap' same set to add the Photo Love sentiment to the front of the camera, then wrapped some Aqua Blue Timeless Twine around the camera lens and tied a bow.
Next, I made a pocket with my Silhouette, using this file.  I sized it to fit a Bella Creationz tag.  This tag will pull out of the pocket, creating more movement.
Here's a view of the tag, removed from the pocket.
I used more stamps from the 'Oh, Snap' stamp set on the tag.  I also used more Timeless Twine on the ribbon.
You can find the tag, stamp set, sequins, and beautiful Aqua Blue twine in the Bella Creationz store.  It is temporarily closed, but will be opening again very shortly.

For You -- and for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, so that means it's time for a new challenge at the QKR Stampede challenge blog.  With Mother's Day just around the corner here in the US, our theme this week is 'Mother's Day Cards'.
Here's my latest QKR Stampede creation --
This adorable QKR Stampede image is called "Hello" (digi11407). I colored her with Copic markers, then fussy cut her.  The 2 tags and butterfly are die cuts from Paper Artist's Cutting Dies. The glimmer trim is from Close To My Heart. The Kraft card base is from Papertrey Ink. Designer papers are Echo Park Here & Now 12x12. The pretty bit of baker's twine is Timeless Twine -- Key Lime Sorbet.
Join us this week at QKR Stampede with your own Mother's Day creations.  I'd love to see what you make!

Thinking of You -- a Tutorial for Crafty Sentiments

I have the pleasure of posting on the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog today, and it's my turn for a tutorial. I'll show my technique for two-toned flowers using Copic markers.
I used the delightful Crafty Sentiments Designs rubber stamp, Sweet Butterfly.

This is the start of the two-toned flower.  I have a few petals blended with Copic markers, using Y02, RV02, and RV04.
Start at both ends of the petal, flicking towards the middle to blend the colors.  It will take several times to get the perfect blend.
This is the first time the two colors are mixed (picture below)
This next picture shows the colors after I've blended the petal several times.
Here's another example --first color applied
The colors are laid down (below), but not yet blended very well.
Now, the colors are blended together!
The flower is complete, and the whole Sweet Butterfly rubber stamp has been colored.

Papers on this card are from Echo Park Here & Now 12x12 Collection.  The bottom portion of the card was embossed with an embossing folder by Close To My Heart.  Ribbon is also from CTMH.  The butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die. The image was cut out with a Spellbinder die.
Please check out the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog for more wonderful creations from a talented design team.

Birthday, Buttons, Bows, Bling -- DS4J

May 1 -- May Day!  and time for a new challenge at DigiStamps4Joy.  This month, our theme is Buttons, Bows, and Bling.  Since it's May Day, I chose a flower theme for this card...
I colored the Flower Corner image with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.  The sentiment was computer generated. Papers, bling, and buttons are from Close To My Heart.  The shaped card is a cutting file from Pretty Paper,  Pretty Ribbons. The tie dye crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  The die shape used is from Spellbinders.
I hope you join us this month for our "Buttons, Bows, and Bling" challenge at DigiStamps4Joy.  I'd love to see what you create!

Spring has Sprung -- for Eureka Stamps

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge at Eureka Stamps.  This is my last post as a design team member (at least for now).  I've been on the team for a year already, and it's time to give someone else a chance at these delightful images!
This week's challenge is "Add bling", so I added a little:
I used 2 Eureka Stamps digis -- Bunny with Flowers (digi13703) and sentiment "Spring has Sprung" (digi8804).  I colored the bunny with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. I used 2 sizes of the same Spellbinders label die.  One, I cut with Close To My Heart glitter paper to add bling to the card.
The shaped card is a cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.
The designer paper and the butterfly bling are from Close To My Heart
I hope you can join us this week at Eureka Stamps for our "Add some Bling" challenge.  It's going to be fun!

Hoppy Birthday!

I have a fun card to share today.  I've been participating in the Outlawz Progressive Challenge each month since it began in January, so I wanted to make sure and use the adorable image provided for us by Encino Stamps this month.
I colored this frog with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from a Unity Stamp Company/Phyllis Harris stamp set.  I cut the frog and the sentiment out for a Spellbinders label 1 die set. The shaped card is an SVG cutting file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  The designer papers and card stock are all from Close To My Heart

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Happy Day Shake, Shake, Shaker! for Timeless Twine

It's Shaker Saturday on the Timeless Twine blog today, and I love shaker cards!  I had a blast with this one!  The hardest part was deciding which one to make.  Since I also love canning jars, I combined two loves in one:
This shaker card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe. It is part of the "13 Shaker Cards Cutting Files".  I used papers from My Mind's Eye Love Me Do Collection.
Everything else is from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz:
The sequins
2 colors of Sorbet Timeless Twine (I used Watermelon Sorbet and Key Lime Sorbet)
White Heart Sticker

Happy Days Stamp Set

I seriously LoVe this stamp set.  It can be used in so many different ways.  Versatile to the MAX!
Thanks for shaking up your Saturday with me!
