DT Planner -- for The Cutting Cafe

Whoot! Whoot!  I'm going to be so organized!  This week, at The Cutting Cafe, the design team is featuring one of two sets -- either The Design Team Planner Set or The Craft Supply Planner Set.  Both of these sets are printables. Both sets are excellent -- and must-haves.  I decided to feature The Design Team Planner today.

I used one of the cover options from the Craft Supply Planner Printable Set, added my own sub-heading to make it fit the "Design Team" theme, and colored up a delightful Aurora Wings Sprite digital image with Copic markers. I bound my planner together using a 3-ring hole punch and individual rings, then tied matching ribbons on them (from Really Reasonable Ribbon).
I didn't use all the page options in my Planner -- only those I thought would be beneficial for me.  Here's what's in mine:
I have 2 pages of calendars.  There's a 2015 and a 2016:
There's a page for the current design teams I'm on, and the length of term, etc. I also have 2 pages printed for Past Design Teams.

Here's a DT information page, with a place for assignments.

There are pages for card challenges. Many of the pages can be printed with either color or black & white titles.

There are pages for other challenges

Ever have an idea you don't want to forget?  It can go here:

There's even a place for my doodling!

I used mostly card stock in my planner, but some of the pages that I think I will replace frequently were printed with copy paper.  I put a card stock back cover on it for more durability.

Here's a close up of the Title and the Aurora Wings Linnea Sprite image.
My planner is 23 pages thick, including both covers.  All card stock used is from Close To My Heart. I didn't show you everything in it as I didn't want a too picture-intensive post.  But, trust me, this Planner is wonderful!

Make sure to visit The Cutting Cafe blog on June 7 to see all the planners from the design team.  The post will be packed full of wonderful ideas on how to use both of these fantastic planners. Leave a comment there for a chance to win any 3 sets of your choice.  Fun!

So Grateful -- for Crafty Sentiments Challenges

It's Tuesday, and it's my first time posting for the Crafty Sentiments Challenge team, having switched from the Inspirations team.  I like the idea of having themes to work with.  Our theme for this week's challenge is "teacher".  The school year is fast winding down where I live -- only a couple days left, so I made a thank you card that could be given to a teacher, Sunday School teacher, 4H leader -- anyone, really.
This Crafty Sentiments Designs rubber stamp is "Hanging Hearts". I colored her with Copic markers.
I used several dies on this card.  There's 2 sizes of the same Spellbinders label die behind the Hanging Hearts image.  The banner is a die from La La Land Crafts.  Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  The Flair and crinkle ribbon are 3 Girl JAM. I finished off the card with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.
Join us at Crafty Sentiments challenges this week for our "Teacher" challenge.  I'd love to see what you make!

Spring Into It - for DigiStamps4Joy

June 1, really?  That means it's time for a new challenge at DigiStamps4Joy.  This month, it's Anything Goes, with an optional twist -- Spring into It.
Spring came early, then stalled out where I live.  We've been slow at warming up, had lots of rain, but the flowers have been beautiful.   The flowers I see everyday on my walk were the inspiration for this card:

This image is DigiStamps4Joy Daffodil Trio.  I colored it with Copic markers, fussy cut it, then mounted it on a card base cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The papers and bling for this card are from Close To My Heart.  The tie dye ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM
I hope you join us at DigiStamps4Joy for our Anything Goes with a twist challenge.  You have all month!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Dragonfly Dreams -- How Does your Garden Grow?
One Stitch At A Time -- ATG with Flowers
Challenge Up Your Life -- Digi image
D.L. Art -- June Linky Party

Thinking of You -- New Release for DS4J

It's Sunday, and there are new releases today in the DigiStamps4Joy Store.  To add to the excitement, there is a new artist!  I was lucky enough to be able to work with Lesie's first image in the DigiStamps4Joy store:

This DigiStamps4Joy image is called Patchwork Country 1. I printed it on colored card stock (Close To My Heart), then used distress inks and a wet paintbrush to color it with.  The sentiment is a stamp from My Pink Stamper.
I was trying for a sun ray of patterned paper behind the image.  It all got a big busy, but if you look, maybe the sun ray is apparent? The designer papers are from Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad. The white baker's twine is from Timeless Twine
Check out the DigiStamps4Joy blog today to see what other design team members have done with this new release, and other new releases.  You won't be disappointed!

I Think I Need a Diet! for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede. Our theme this week is "Bath time". I found a most delightful QKR Stampede digi stamp to work with for this challenge!

This poor little duck has such a fat tummy, he needs an inner tube to stay afloat! Doesn't he look forlorn? This is Floating (digi7006). I colored the delightful Floating duck with Copic markers. The sentiment is computer generated. Papers are from Echo Park.  I used a We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper on this, and a Spellbinders die behind the duck image.
I hope you can join us this week at QKR Stampede for our "bath time" challenge! I'd love to see what you create!

Think Spring! for Crafty Sentiments Designs

I'm posting today for the Crafty Sentiments Inspirations blog. These images are sooooo cute!  Today, I share with you Kaye(Springtime), a digi stamp from the Crafty Sentiments Design store

I colored Kaye with Copic markers.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the card for her. The designer papers are from Basic Grey. Embellishments are from Close To My Heart.
Spring is just underway where I live.  We are just starting to get rid of jackets and sweaters, and get out the short sleeves.  I've yet to wear shorts, but I hope the day is coming soon.  Like Kaye (Springtime), I'm thinking Spring!
Starting in June, I'm switching to the Crafty Sentiments Challenge blog team.  Come check out all the creations from the design team, and join our challenges.

Live Fast and Stay Pretty for IDCB, and a WINNER!

It's Wednesday, and I'm posting today for Inspiration Destination Challenge Blog, where the challenges are every week, and they are always Anything Goes.  We have one sponsor this week, and it's a good one! We're sponsored this week by The Paper Shelter
I made a tag with the fun image, "Rebel":
I used the pre-printed version of this, and used a tag die to cut it out.  I also printed the paper that comes with the image, and used another tag die to cut the paper out.  I stamped a Close To My Heart sentiment on a 3 tag and used another die to cut that out.  The ribbon holding all the tags together is from 3 Girl JAM.  The star confetti is from UmWow Studio
Thanks to The Paper Shelter for the very fun Rebel digital stamp to work with!
Join us this week at IDCB for your chance to win a prize from this fun sponsor!  Remember, it's anything goes.
Did I mention a winner?
The winner from the Colors of Summer Blog Hop this past weekend is Mary Holshouser.  Woohoo!  Congrats, Mary!  You get to pick your favorite 3 girl JAM ribbon bundle -- tough choice!  I'll be contacting you by email.
