Way Cool! for Sasayaki Glitter Stamps

It's Thursday, and there's a new challenge starting today on the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  The theme, for the next month, is Male cards (or projects of any kind).  With Father's Day just around the corner here in the US, now's the time to get those cards made!

I used the digital image, Party Shy, to make my male-themed card:

I colored Party Shy with Copic markers.  The card base was created using my Silhouette Cameo.  The file for the rocking card was found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The circles were cut out with 2 dies from Craftin' Desert Divas.   The sentiment is a clear stamp from Simon Says Stamp.

Party Shy is way cool, and ready for the summer fun.  I hope you, too, can join in the fun at the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog with our Male theme.  You have all month!

Vintage Christmas -- for the 12 Months of Christmas

I'm back!  After being gone from the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up DT for a few months and missing it, I have returned.  I missed the team, and the fun digital papers we get to work with. I missed the great sponsors.  AND, I missed getting a jump start on Christmas cards.  To make up for lost time, I created 2 for this month's challenge.  Woohoo!

Our sponsor this month is Lunagirl.com

Both cards use the Jolly Old St. Nick Digital Collage Sheet.  Papers on both cards are by Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  This is the Eclectic Christmas 1, Silver & Gold Collection.

Card 1:

Card 2:

Embellishments, glimmer trim and twine on the cards are from Close To My Heart. The second card uses a couple dies from Spellbinders.

Are you, too, making some Christmas cards to get a jump on the season?  Enter them at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  Use the alternated Silver & Gold theme to be eligible to win both the Lunagirl prize and the Silver & gold paper prize.  Yea!

I created a card for this challenge using Image #182, Veggie Veronica:

I colored Image 182 with Copic markers.  I used 2 dies from Craftin' Desert Divas to cut her out and back her.  The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, using a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The glitter paper and designer paper are from Close To My Heart.

Hand Colored Hugs -- for Star Stampz

Happy Thursday, everyone!  I'm so glad we're getting closer to the weekend!  Today's also the start of a new challenge at Star Stampz Challenge blog.  For the next two weeks, our theme is an easy one -- use a hand colored image.

I used "Spring Sunshine" to create this:

I colored the digi stamp, Spring Sunshine, with Copic markers.  I used some free designer paper I got with a magazine on this card.  The dies are all from Spellbinders.  The flowers were purchased at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you can join us for the challenge at Star Stampz challenge blog.    Check out the Star Stampz Facebook Group, too. You'll find great inspiration there, too!

On Your Special Day -- for Julia Spiri Challenge Blog

Happy Thursday, everyone!  It's time for a new challenge on the Julia Spiri Challenge blog.  For the next 2 weeks, our theme is 'wedding.'

I used the Peonies and Ranunculus, Watercolor Clip Art, to create this:

I layered several of the flowers and vines together to get this effect, and added the sentiment using a font on my computer.  After that, it was a matter of finding some elegant paper that looked like 'wedding', an elegant die cut, some glitter trim, and the card was complete!

This is definitely the season of weddings and wedding showers.  I have several coming up in the next few weeks and this card is going to come in handy!

I hope you can join us at the Julia Spiri Challenge blog for our 'wedding' challenge.  We've got great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!  Join the Stamps by Julia Spiri Facebook group, too, for more inspiration, fun, and occasional freebies!
