I Believe in Luck! for Path of Positivity

It's a new month, and time for a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.   This month's theme is luck.  There's lots of directions to go with this one!

Our sponsors this month are:

Each of our guest designers is offering a $10 gift certificate to their store!

I was lucky enough (pun intended) to be able to use a fantastic image from Imagine That! Digis by Kris in today's challenge.  This is Hitchin' a Ride...

I made it into an easel card, to display the sentiment on luck even better.  Here's a close up:

I think that's one lucky raccoon, too, riding around in that wheelbarrow, getting out of all the hard work.

I colored Hitchin' a Ride with Copic markers.  The easel card is a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The papers are from Photo Play.  The leaves, branches, and acorns are a die cut from Sizzix.

I hope you join us this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge blog for our lucky challenge.  There's great prizes to win and lots of fun!

Let's Shake it for Fall! and for The Cutting Cafe

Happy September, everyone! Where I live, here in NW Wisconsin, signs of Fall are already in the air.  I hear the geese honking everyday as the families go out for test flights, preparing for their fall migration.  Some of the songbirds have already left for warmer weather, and the Monarch butterflies are moving through on their amazing journey.  Yes, Fall is soon upon us!

We're celebrating Fall this week at The Cutting Cafe with Autumn Sentiment Card Frames Printable Set.  You'll see some fantastic projects with this set by visiting the Cutting Cafe blog September 7!

I used one of the Autumn Sentiment Card Frames and printed it on vinyl card stock for in the sister shop The Cutting Cafe Shop.

Then, I set out making a Fall themed shaker card.  The papers are by Echo Park.  They are the Reflections:Fall collection by Lori Whitlock.   The leaves and acorn are from a Sizzlets Decorative strip from Sizzix.

The stamped bird that is enjoying that last of the summer sun was custom made for me in The Cutting Cafe Shop.  You can learn all about custom stamps here.

So don't get too shaken up, just because Fall is almost upon us.  Just make a shaker card and have fun with us at The Cutting Cafe!  Don't forget to check out The Cutting Cafe blog on or just after September 7 to see the rest of the DT projects.  Comment for a chance to win 3 sets of your choice from The Cutting Cafe store! Check out the Cutting Cafe, Be Inspired Facebook Group for more inspiration, friendship, and fun!

I've Missed You! for Great Impressions Stamps

Here we are, the start of Labor Day weekend.  How did that happen, anyway?!?  I hope you find time for whatever it is you enjoy!  I'm hoping to do some crafting, get on the Harley, and take some walks with the dog and my husband.  That is my idea of the perfect end-of-summer weekend!

Speaking of summer and motorcycles, on a recent ride, we saw fields and fields of beautiful sunflowers, all tipping their lovely faces towards the sun.  That scene was the inspiration for today's card, which I'm posting on the Great Impressions Stamps Blog:

This uses 2 stamps from Great Impressions Stamps:  H232 - Sunflower Frame, and A121 - Missed You.

I colored H232 - Sunflower Frame with Copic markers, using my mind's eye to get the color I remembered from that motorcycle ride!  Once I had the sunflower colored, I stamped my A121- Missed You sentiment in the middle of the frame.  Then, it was time to fussy cut the frame, and assemble the card.

Papers for this card are digital.  They were purchased at Snap Click Supply.  The collection is by Meredith Cardall and is called, "Happy Fall Y'all".  The enamel flower is from my stash.

Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring the AUD Sentiments blog this week, where the theme is Anything Goes with a Sentiment.  I'll be entering this card on the challenge, and I hope you'll join in, too!

There's a new challenge starting on the Great Impressions Stamps blog on Sunday, Sept 4.  Come join in the fun!

Deck the Halls! for the 12 Months of Christmas

This is getting serious!  It's less than 4 months until Christmas! It's a good thing the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up helps me keep somewhat on track with making Christmas cards!

September's theme is the Nature of Christmas, and our sponsors are:

I colored the holly image from the Holiday Greeting set with Copic markers, using one of the sentiments that came with it for my greeting.

Papers for this card were created  by Lisa Decosse.  Three of them are specifically created for this month's Nature of Christmas challenge.  I also used the candy cane paper (another Decosse's Dynamite Doodles creation) to pull in a bit of red.

The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  The circle dies are from Lawn Fawn and Lifestyle Crafts.

I hope you can join us this month at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  Join in on the Nature of Christmas theme to be eligible to win the awesome sponsor prizes.  Link 2 cards and  you may win the fabulous papers!

Feel Better Real Soon! for Oddball Art Stamps

It's time for some mid-challenge inspiration over on the Oddball Art challenge blog.   The theme this month is 'For You, Blue' (use blue on your project).   The challenge runs until September 14, with a new challenge starting on September 15.

Here's what I created for my mid-challenge inspiration:

I used Image #218 - Bella, which includes the awesome word bubble and sentiment on this tag.

I colored Image #218 - Bella, with Copic markers, then used a variety of dies by Hot Off the Press to cut out the tags.  Papers are by My Mind's Eye. The chipboard butterflies are from UmWow Studio.  The fibers are by Close To My Heart.

Come join the 'For you, Blue' fun at Oddball Art Challenge blog!  You still have plenty of time, and I'd love to see what you make!

A Little Hello -- for Imagine That! Digis by Kris

I have a little extra something I'm posting this month for Imagine That! Digis by Kris.  I fell in love with this sweet image as soon as I saw it in the shop, I just had to color her up!

This is Emma, and I think she is just the sweetest thing!

I colored Emma with Copic markers, using bright, summery colors.  Then, I used some fun, bright papers from the Imagine That! Digi Stamp shop called Sunshine & Rain to create the card.  The sentiment is also from the Emma set.

The fancy card edges were created with dies from Hot off the Press.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

I think she's just summery enough to enter in the signs ofsummer challenge at the Creative Playground, don't you?
