Enjoy the Ride -- For The Paper Shelter

 It's Wednesday, and a new challenge starts today over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  Challenges run for a week and have a theme.  This weeks theme is 'Going Dotty'.  You don't have to use a Paper Shelter image, but if you do, and your card is chosen as the winner, you'll be awarded a $30 gift certificate! 

'Going Dotty' -- what a fun theme!  I had a great time with this one!  I found a wonderful image that I thought would lend itself to papers with dots -- here's YMMV:

I colored YMMV with a combination of Spectrum Noir Triblend Brush markers and Copic markers.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The banner dies are from Crafter's Companion, while the stitched heart die is from Lawn Fawn.

All The dotted papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Dotted Swiss Collection.

 It's Sunday, and Stella is telling us it's time for another sketch Challenge over on the Catch the Bug Blog.  Yes, it's Stella Says Sketch time!  This challenge will run for the next 2 weeks. 

I'll show you my card first, then the sketch.

This card uses the Bugaboo Stamps digital image, Ladybug Daisy.  I colored Ladybug Daisy with Copic markers. 

Here's the sketch for the current Stella Says Sketch challenge over on Catch the Bug:

As you can see, I followed that sketch almost exactly.  I even put the image in the same place, because I thought I would like all that white space.  Then, of course, I had to try to fill it, so I added some sequins.

The papers are from Crafter's Companion, and the sentiment is from a stamp set I've had for a long, long time. It's from Simon Says Stamp.

 It's the 22nd of the month -- one of the days that the All Dressed Up Stamps design team showcases this month's new releases.  I love any opportunity to color up these darling images! This month, I had the fun of designing with Summer Fairy.  She is an absolute delight!

I colored Summer Fairy with Copic markers.  The stamp is by Crafter's Companion, and I was VERY disappointed with how it stamped! The papers on the card are digital, and are from AMB Illustrations.

 It's Saturday, and there is a new Anything Goes Challenge starting over on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.  It will run for the next 2 weeks. 

I have a thing about coloring with pencils on Kraft paper.  I love the look of it, and whenever I color with pencils, I almost always print the image on Kraft.  That's exactly what I did today.

This Floral Butterfly Thank You comes with 2 versions -- this one, and a plain one without a sentiment. 

I used Spectrum Noir Colorblend pencils on this, and Crafter's Companion papers. The butterfly die is also from Crafter's Companion.

I'm a bird lover, so when I saw the fantastic owl in the Woodland Animals Printables, I knew exactly what I wanted to create for this challenge:

There are 4 printables in the Woodland Animals set, all of them work equally well for masculine projects.  The papers on this card are from the Trees Paper Collection.  The fun sentiment is from the Masculine Sentiment Set, printed on a tag from Impression Obsession.  I added the glasses to the owl with a set of dies from Impression Obsession, purchased at the Dies R Us Store.
