Gnome With a Daisy -- For The Paper Shelter

Hello, and thanks for stopping by my blog today!

There's a new challenge that starts today at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  The challenge runs for a week, and the theme is "Enjoy the Summer Sun" (colors or activity).  That's a great theme for hot, hot, hot August.

I think the digital stamp 'Gnome with a Daisy' from The Paper Shelter is just adorable.  I love gnomes, and this one was very fun to color up!

I colored Gnome with a Daisy with Copic markers.  The stitched frame die is by Taylored Expressions and the sun and cloud dies are from Spellbinders.  The sentiment and sentiment die are both from Taylored Expressions.

I hope you can join us for our Enjoy the Summer Sun challenge.  I'd love to see what your create.  The graphic above explains the prizes offered for the challenge.

New Hair Do -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello crafty friend!  Thanks for stopping by my blog.

It's a new month, and that means a new challenge at the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group.  The theme this month is 'Girls Rule'.   Yeah, I like that theme!

I used the darling ADU image, New Hair do for my card:

I colored New Hairdo with Copic markers, then I used a sketch I found on Pink & Main.  The papers and flowers are from Pink & Main. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions, and seemed to fit the monthly theme well.

I hope you can join us this month for the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group. I'd love to see what you make!

Hello Summer -- for The Paper Shelter

Hello, and happy Wednesday!  Thank you for stopping by my blog.

It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter. This challenge is a little different than the usual ones.  First, the theme is Anything Goes. Also, the challenge will last a month and both teams are participating.

I used the darling TPS image, Sunshine, and created this mini slim card:

I colored Sunshinewith Copic markers, then set about creating the card.

I used a die set from LDRS Creative to create the base of the mini slim card and the layers.  The patterned papers are from Crafter's Companion, while the solid card stock colors are Taylored Expressions. The sun and clouds are from Spellbinders, and the sentiment strip is from Taylored Expressions.

Here are the prizes you can win entering the Paper Shelter challenge

You have a whole month this time to join us, so I hope to see you in the challenge!

Wishing You Joy -- A New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps

The 22nd of the month is the day I post some new release inspiration for All Dressed Up Stamps.  That is today!

I had the privilege of being able to create with the NR image, Bubbles, available in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop:

I colored Bubbles with Copic markers.  I stenciled a bubble background (by Taylored Expressions) onto the background paper.  I used a stitched circle die (Crafter's Companion) to cut out the Bubble image and mount it to the bubble background.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.  The butterfly die cut is probably my most used and loved die (Cheery Lynn).  I've had it for many years.  It was one of the first I purchased.

If you are looking for more New Release inspiration, try the ADU Facebook group, and the ADU Challenge blog

Sweet Summertime -- for The Paper Shelter Challenge

Hello, crafty friends!  Thanks for stopping by today.  It's time for a new challenge at The Paper Shelter Challenge blog.  This week, the theme is Sweet Treats.  Sweet!

For the challenge I used an image from the kit, The Sweetest Watermelon. Isn't she sweet?

I colored The Sweetest Watermelon with Copic markers.  The watermelon background is a layering stencil from Taylored Expressions.  I also used Taylored Expressions products to cut out the image and to finish the card off with a few sparkles.   I computer generated the sentiment.

The Paper Shelter has great prizes for their challenges!  If you use a Paper Shelter image and win, you win 6 products of your choice!  Use another brand stamp and win 3 TPS products of your choice.  How generous is that?!?

I hope you join in on challenge #604, Sweet Treats

Hello Summer - for the Season Challenge at All Dressed Up Stamps

It's a new month, which means a new challenge starts today in the All Dressed Up Stamps facebook Group. The theme of the challenge is "Seasons", and it runs all month.  You do need to use an All Dressed Up Stamps image to participate.  Find them here.

I just love the digital stamp Daisy Fairy.  I've colored her up many times trough the years.  The pretty color combinations are endless with her.  Here's is how I choose to color her this time:

I colored Daisy Fairy with Copic markers, then made her into a mini slimline card using dies from Trinity Stamps.  The sentiment is from a set of mini strip sentiments by Taylored Expressions.  The flowers and stem die cuts are by Spellbinders.

I hope you can join us this month in theAll Dressed Up Stamps FB group.  I'd love to see what you create!

Pump it Up! For The Paper Shelter Challenge

Let's get physical at The Paper Shelter challenge! It's time for a new challenge, and 'let's get physical' is the theme.

My husband, at the age of 65, lifts weights every day.  He has stayed in excellent shape!  I made this card with him in mind:

The image I used is from the Workout Time set. I colored the image with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  The blue background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop (no longer in business). The card is 4x6.  It is an unusual size for me, but the brick wall (die from Crafter's Companion) fit on the card size well. The sentiment was created by me and computer generated.

I hope you join in our challenge this week!  The above graphic explains the prizes.  If you win and use a The Paper Shelter image, you get 6 products of your choice.  Use any other image and win 3 products of your choice.  Get coloring!
