Caught a Bug? for Oddball Art

We're 1/2 way through this month's challenge, so it's time for a bit of mid-month inspiration on the Oddball Stamps Challenge Blog.   Our theme this month is "Little Child" (for a kid).

There are many wonderful images in the Oddball Art Etsy Store that will work for this challenge!  I decided on this one:

This card uses image #283, Pugsy Bugsy.

I colored Pugsy Bugsy (#283) with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on watercolor paper, then used a Spellbinders die in 2 sizes to frame Pugsy Bugsy.

Papers for this card are by Doodlebug Designs -- Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad.  The sentiment was computer generate and cut out with 2 dies by Paper Wishes.  Pink gems are by Close to My Heart.

Retired, and Loving It! -- for Path of Positivity

It's time for a little mid-month inspiration at the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  The theme all this month is 'Achievement'.

We have 2 great sponsors this month --

For today's project, I had the pleasure of working with a digi stamp kit from Kitten Scraps called Retired Life.

I colored this adorable digi with Copic markers, then used a Sizzix die set to create the card and cut out the image.

Papers for this card are from Doodlebug Designs.  There's some Timeless Twine wrapped around the base and tied in a bow.

Retirement -- now that's a big achievement, and one I'm working hard to obtain!  We spend our whole working career hoping to reach the elusive goal.  Several of my friends have retired recently with the purchase of the facility I work in.  A few of us are hoping to follow them in the not-too-distant future.  Yes, retirement is a huge achievement!

I hope you can join us this month at Path of Positivity Challenge Blog for our 'achievement' challenge.  I'd love to see your take on achievement, and I'd love to see what you create.

Cute Friend's Hugs -- for Sasayaki Glitter Stamps

It's time for some mid-month inspiration over on the Sasayaki Glitter blog.  There's also some new releases to tell you about that just got put in the Etsy Shop.  Check them out here!

I used Cute Friends for my mid-month inspiration.  I thought they were just what their name implies -- cute!

This bird has found a great mode of transportation!  Perhaps a bit slow, but colorful and fun!

I printed Cute Friends on watercolor paper, then used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a water brush to  color the digi.  I used circle dies from Spellbinders and Craftin' Desert Divas to cut the digi out and mount it.  Papers for this card are from Doodlebug Designs, the shimmer trim is from Close To My Heart, and the enamel dots are from my stash.  The sentiment is also from Craftin' Desert Divas.

Please check out the rest of the mid-month inspiration on the Sasayaki Glitter blog, then enter our challenge this month where the theme is "Male".  If you haven't joined the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook group yet, you'll want to do that for tons of fun, more inspiration, and news of new releases, freebies,  and challenges.

Shakin' Love Birds - an Oddball Art New Release

June 15 -- that means it's New Release day at Oddball Art Stamp Co.  You'll find a few wonderful new ones in the Etsy Store.   You can find inspiration for the New Releases on the Oddball Art Company blog.

Today, I had a great time making a shaker card with the new digi, #310 - Love Birds.  What do you think?

I printed the Love Birds (#310) digi on watercolor paper.  Then, I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and a water brush to paint the digi.

The shaker, made with Lawn Fawn dies, is filled with heart sequins from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The 6x6 papers on this card are by Doodlebug Designs, flowers are by Prima, and the shimmer trim is by Close To My Heart.

One of my staff, who's worked for me for 10 years, is getting married in Uganda in a month.  We're having a wedding shower for her on Saturday.  This is her shower card.  Love birds, indeed!

Super Sweet Sunshine -- for Oddball Art

June 15!  It's time for a new challenge at the Oddball Art Challenge blog!   For the next month, the theme is 'Here Comes the Sun' (incorporate a sun somewhere on your project).   I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some summertime sun!

Here's  image #144 - I Scream Love:

I printed image #144 - I Scream Love on watercolor paper, then colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a water brush.

I cut the funky sun out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The dies are from Top Dog Dies.  The sentiment is from Joy's Life Stamps.  Teal glimmer trim is from Close To My Heart. Papers for this card are from Doodlebug Designs.  I used my super hand We R Memory Keepers scalloped corner chomper on this, too.

Hello! Guest Designing for Twisted Thursday at the Outlawz

Happy Thursday!  I have the honor of guest designing again today at The Outlawz Challenge blog.  You can find a new challenge starting there everyday!  Today is Twisted Thursday.  It's Anything Goes - with a Twist -- today's twist is Transportation.

The sponsor this month is PPinky Dolls Art

I used the digi, Bear Friend, to create this:

What better mode of transportation than riding on a bear?  What an adventure that would be!

I colored Bear Friend with Copic markers, then used a crossed stitched die by Die-namics to cut it out.  The large banner die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

The bright, summery designer paper is by Doodlebug Designs -- the 6x6  Hello Sunshine pad.

I love guest designing for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenges.  I hope you can join this great bunch of creative ladies this week for the transportation challenge!

Happy Everything! for Great Impressions Stamps

Happy spring, everyone!  I am posting today for Great Impressions Stamps

Spring brings much rain where I live.  Why not have a cute umbrella?

This fun card uses F480 Tulip Umbrella and B246 Happy Everything.  I colored Tulip Umbrella with Copic markers to give it a bit of depth.

The card base and the various circles were created with dies from Lifestyle Crafts, Lawn Fawn, and Craftin' Desert Divas.  The ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  Papers for this card are from Doodlebug Design inc.  They are the Spring Garden 6x6 paper pad.  I purchased it at The Cutting Cafe Shop online store.

Have you entered the monthly challenge at Great Impressions blog? This month's theme is Ladies Night.  It goes all month, so there's still time.  If you use a Great Impressions Stamp, link it to the Great Impressions Customer Gallery.  I'd love to see what you create!

I Will Always Be Here for You! -- and The Cutting Cafe

I'm posting today for The Cutting Cafe.  This week, we're featuring clear card stock from The Cutting Cafe Shop.

I used the 12x12 clear card stock.  It can be printed on, so I sent a piece through my laser printer, printing words from the Animal & Bug Love Printable Set.  This is a bit frightening the first time you do it. I was sure I was going to ruin my printer, but it worked just fine.

Here's a second view of the card fold...

I colored the turtelly adorable turtle with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  The turtle is part of the Animal & Bug Love Printable Set.

One more view...

Check out The Cutting Cafe Blog on April 21 for more inspiration and ideas with clear card stock.   Leave a comment on the blog and you could win 3 sets of your choice!  Join the Cutting Cafe - Be Inspired Facebook Group for more inspiration!
