It's the first Monday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. Each month there are optional themes, and this month's is Admiration.
When I think of what/who I admire most, my dog ranks right up there. Well, dogs. Period. They are such a loving, forgiving, giving animal. I think God knew what He was doing when he created dogs, and it is no accident that God spelled backwards is dog.
With that idea in mind, I created a card with this month's awesome sponsor, A Day for Daisies:
This is Buddy, colored with Copic markers. The love between a boy and his dog, or a girl and her dog, can be life transforming for that child. Our Golden Retriever, Winter, brings my husband and I joy every single day. Our lives are much richer because of him. There is much to admire in the personality of dogs!
The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps (no longer in business). The awesome paw print border, and the bone shaped dies were both purchases at the Dies R Us Store. The dog themed paper is an Echo Park digital paper, purchased at Snap Click Supply.
Admiration -- a theme you can go many different directions with -- so I hope you join us this month at The Path of Positivity. A Day for Daisies has the best digis you can win!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Word Art Wednesday -- ATG
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

Since it's Friday, it's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog -- every Friday, always Anything Goes!

I colored Fall Leaf Oval with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. I cut it out and backed it with a couple of Spellbinders dies. The background paper is digital. I found it at Snap Click Supply. I don't remember where I got the squirrel die anymore, but I use it often on Fall cards. The card base is an SVG file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM (out of business).
I hope you have an opportunity to join in on our Anything Goes challenge this week at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. I'd love to see what you make, and we've got great digis you could win!

Today, I'm showcasing Fluffy Frannie (image #10):
I colored Fluffy Frannie with Copic markers, using bright Springtime colors. I wanted her hat to look like it was bursting with Springtime color! Then, I had her send some warm springtime wishes your way, along with that fancy coffee she was drinking.
Charming, isn't she? I love these Fluffy My Besties! You can find them all in the Sherri Baldy My Besties Shop.

Missing You -- for All Dressed Up
May First, and there's a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group. I'm still so excited about being a Dressy Girl! Today I'm posting my second card, and it's for this month's ADU Embellish It Facebook Challenge. You'll find an album for it in the All Dress Up Facebook Group.
I just love this Dreaming of Summer image. I colored it up, then created this with it:
I colored Dreaming of Summer with Copic markers. She seemed a bit wistful, or maybe I'm just missing my best friend, who recently moved across the country. Either way, I decided to make this into a "missing you" card. The sentiment is from a stamp I got in a Spellbinders card kit.
The square stitched die frames are from Lawn Fawn. The papers are digital and were purchased from Snap Click Supply. The butterfly stickers are from Paper Wishes.
I love this sweet girl, and so many more All Dressed Up digital stamps. You can find them in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.
I hope you can join our Embellish It Facebook Challenge, and there's a blog challenge going on, too, so check that out, also!

Greetings, fellow crafters! I'm on the Scrapbook Stamp Society Blog today with a timely image. Are you as addicted to your cell phone as I am to mine? When I saw this delightful Fancy Pants Cell Phone digi, I just had to color it up!
I colored Fancy Pants Cell Phone with Copic markers and used a die cut for the "hello". Isn't she adorable? I had so much fun with this!
The card base was made with Spellbinders dies. The papers are digital, purchased at Snap Click Supply. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Singing of Spring -- for QKR Stampede
It's Friday, and I am very loudly singing of Spring. Our average temperature this April is 20 degrees below normal. I, and everyone else I come in contact with, is very much ready for spring!
I'm also ready for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. Today, being Friday, starts a new challenge, and they are always Anything Goes. Please join us this week!
This week, I used the adorable Singing Bird (Q-digi15005) to create this:
I colored Singing Bird with Copic markers, computer generated the sentiment, and used a Tattered Lace die to create the card base. The design papers on this card are digital, and were purchased at Snap Click Supply. The circle dies on this card are from Craftin' Desert Divas and Lifestyle Crafts. The blue sequins are from Close To My Heart.
I hope you can join us this week at the QKR Stampede Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes Challenge. We have great prizes for you to win (like this great Singing Bird digi), and I'd love to see what you make!

Live Out Loud! -- Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge
It's snowing, it's snowing! We don't usually get much snow in April, but we are getting dumped on today! The schools are getting let out early, the roads are terrible (many cars are in the ditch), and the snow just keeps piling up! Spring has not yet sprung!
This cute image, "Peggy's in Love", is this time's progressive challenge image at Sasayaki Glitter. She's currently being given away for free so everyone can play along, but I'm not sure how long that will happen for, so if you like her (who wouldn't? She's adorable!!!), hurry over to the Sasayaki Glitter Stamps Facebook Group, grab her, and color her up! You don't even have to make her into a card to play along. Just color her!
I used this week's sketch at The Outlawz Wednesday's Sketch Challenge, so I have to make sure and get this entered today Tuesday, or I'll be too late. I thought it was such a fun sketch, I just had to play along!
I colored Peggy's in Love with Copic markers, then used a couple circle dies to cut her out (Lifestyle Crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas). The papers for this card are digital. I found them at Snap Click Supply. They have $1 Wednesday. I got these papers last week, I think. They are 'Live, Laugh, Play' by Down This Road Designs. The sentiment is from a company that no longer exists, Whimsical Designs, but I still like using the stamp set.
Naz is looking for guest designers for Sasayaki Glitter in May. I was on the team awhile ago until life got too busy and my health went south. I'm through with Cancer treatments and getting my crafting mojo back again. I miss playing with Sasayaki Glitter images, so I'm going to try for a GD spot. I'd love the opportunity to color up an image of 2 by Sasayaki Glitter again!
Now, if only it would stop snowing so I could find some of those pretty flowers Peggy has in her hand!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge --March 28
Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge -- Facebook group
Sasayaki Glitter Guest Designer Call -- 2nd entry
AUD Sentiment -- Easter or Spring

Happy Easter! -- for QKR Stampede
It's almost Easter! I hope you and yours have a blessed Easter holiday!
It's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. Challenges last a week, and are always Anything Goes!
Since it is just about Easter, I made an Easter card for this week's challenge, using a darling Bunny & Egg (Q-digi14910):
I colored the Bunny & Egg with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image. The Script Happy Easter (ES-digi3703) adds an elegant touch to the card.
The designer paper on the card is digital -- found at Snap Click Supply, and is an Echo Park paper. The egg shaped card is a file found at the Silhouette Design Store, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3. The bright pink bunny is a die cut from Peachy Cheap.
I hope you find time during this busy Easter week to join our challenge at QKR Stampede. I'd love to see what you make, and we've got great prizes you could win (like this darling digi!!)

Happy! for the Path of Positivity Challenge blog
It's time for a new challenge, this first Monday of the month, at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. If you've been following along with us this year, you've caught on to our color themes. This month, the optional color theme is 'yellow'. I love yellow! Yellow makes me happy! Yellow makes me think of sunshine, warmth, and growing things. Yellow, to me, is a fell-good color!
We have 2 guest sponsors this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog -- Limited Runs Digital Stamps and Imagine That Digistamp. For the beginning of our challenge, I had the fun of using Flower with Ladybug from Limited Runs.
I colored Flower with Ladybug with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The easel card is an SVG file from My Scrap Chick. The digital paper is from Snap Click Supply. The sentiment -- one of my favorites -- is a stamp from Hot Off The Press. I found the buttons in my stash while looking for a ladybug brad that I'm SURE I have, but never found!
I hope you join in the challenge this month at Path of Positivity. To be eligible for the awesome prizes from our sponsors, please follow the optional 'Yellow' theme. Or, enter anything inspirational that you'd like to. The challenge will run until April 1st.

F-r-i-d-a-y!!!! The last Friday of January already! Friday means it's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog, where our challenges are now Anything Goes!
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought I'd use this beautiful image from QKR Stampede, called Rose Label (Q-digi21005) to create this:
This uses Rose Label, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut and Happy Valentine's Day sentiment (ES-digi1106). The designer paper is digital, and was purchased from Snap Click Supply. The fancy die cuts were cut out with dies from Spellbinders Paper Arts. The large heart die is from Paper Wishes.
I hope you can join us this week at QKR Stampede for our Anything Goes challenge. We have great digis for you to win, and I'd love to see what you make!

Warm Winter Wishes -- for the Scrapbook Stamp Society
Greetings, crafty friends! I'm super excited to be sharing my first post on the Addicted To Stamps Blog.
This is image #952, found in the Sherri Baldy Etsy Shop. Isn't she sweet in her winter boots?
I used some of my favorite Copic colors on her, and cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo. The sentiment was computer generated. I used dies from Paper Wishes for the sentiment and the gold snowflakes. The designer winter paper is digital, and can be found at Snap Click Supply.
Thanks for the warm welcome! Julie

A Non-traditional Merry Christmas -- for QKR Stampede
It's Friiiidaaayyy! The 2nd Friday of December already! How can this be happening!
It's also the start of a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. This week's optional theme is 'Non-traditional Christmas Colors'. I like this theme as I get tired of the usual red, green, and blue. I had fun with this one!
I used the digi stamps Christmas Ball with Ribbon (ES-digi12702) and Merry Christmas (ES-digi3206) to create this card.
I colored Christmas Ball with Ribbon with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.
The designer papers are digital papers that I found at Snap Click Supply. The plain colored card stock is from Close To My Heart. The snowflake stickers are from Hot Off the Press. The card base is a cutting die from Tattered Lace. Other circle cutting dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas (scalloped die) and Lifestyle crafts.
I hope you find time to join us this week at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. I know things are getting busier and busier, but enter anything you make -- I'd love to see it, and we've got great digis that you can win!

Snowy Christmas Tag -- for QKR Stampede Challenge Blog
Ho! Ho! Ho! The month of December is upon us! Let the festivities begin! We've begun decorating the nursing home this week (inside, that is -- outside began a couple weeks ago whenever the weather was nice and we had a few spare minutes). This evening, the first of many groups will be at the nursing home for their annual Christmas festivities. This evening, it's the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and their families. It will be a great event!
Speaking of events, there's a new challenge starting today at QKR Stampede challenge blog. This week's optional theme is 'Christmas Tags', or you can enter an 'Anything Goes' project, too. I love making tags, so I had fun with this one!
This tag uses the digital stamp Snowy Christmas Tree (ES-digi39401), colored with Faber-Castell colored pencils.
The background paper, the musical notes, is a digital paper found at Snap Click Supply. It's by Cosmo Cricket. All the dies used on this tag are by Paper Wishes. The fibers are from Close To My Heart.
I hope you can join us this week at QKR Stampede for our Christmas Tags optional theme. I'd love to see your entry, and we have great prizes to win!

A Touch of Gold -- for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and time for another challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog. This week's optional theme is "A Touch of Gold", or you can enter anything you'd like.
I used QKR Stampede's Acorn Accent digi on this (Q-digi19403), and the sentiment is "Large Thanks" (ES-digi4402). The papers, also digital, are by BoBunny, and were purchased at Snap Click Supply. The touch of gold is added with a piece of gold foil paper cut out with a Paper Wishes die. The crinkle ribbon is from my stash.

Bloom Art Stamps Inspiration for September
I'm posting today for Bloom Art Stamps. I have two cards to share -- one made with a clear stamp set, one made with a digital stamp.
I'll start with the card I made with the clear stamp set, Seasons: Tree with Fruit...
I inked up parts of the Seasons: Tree with Fruit stamp with different colors of ink, trying for a fall-like look to the tree. Then, I inked up a squirrel and a bird from the set, fussy cut those, and added them to the tree. I used a snowdrift die to make the grassy "hill".
Card #2 uses the digital stamp, Coneflower Arrangement.
I printed Coneflower Arrangement on Kraft paper, then colored it with Faber-Castell colored pencils. I love using colored pencils on Kraft paper. It's one of my favorite ways to use colored pencils!
I used a couple dies from Lawn Fawn to cut out and back the Coneflower Arrangement digital stamp. The designer paper in the background is from Snap Click Supply and is also digital. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.
Bloom Art Stamps has some amazing stamps -- both clear and digital. Please check out the store, then the blog for inspiration. You'll also find us on Splitcoast Stampers.

A Butterfly Thank You -- for QKR Stampede Challenge Blog
Haaaappppppy Friday, everyone! I hope you have enjoyable things planned for the weekend. We're nearing the ending of Harley riding season here, and every weekend counts, but there's rain in the forecast, so it might be a crafting weekend instead and that's OK!
This week at QKR Stampede, it's an Anything Goes challenge. Yeah! I love those!
I've been wanting to color this image up for a long time, and I finally got the chance!
This is from the sister company of QKR Stampede, Eureka Stamps. It's Butterfly & Sunflower, colored with Copic markers. The sentiment, also from Eureka Stamps, is large Thank You. Both are available in digital or rubber, but digital were used here. Designer papers on this card are also digital and are from Snap Click Supply. The card base is card stock from Close To My Heart. The ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.
I hope you can join us this week for our easy peasy Anything Goes challenge at QKR Stampede. We've got great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!

Love is a Warm Puppy -- for QKR Stampede
This is a first for me! I'm posting a day late for QKR Stampede's challenge. This week's optional theme is, "Keep Your Eye on the Ball." You can always enter Anything Goes, if you prefer.
We have a new Golden Retriever puppy in the house, so this card seems perfect:
This card uses 2 QKR Stampede digi stamps -- Happy Puppy (Q-digi17400) and Warm Puppy (Q-digi11301).
I colored Happy Puppy with Copic markers. I used some new dies I bought from Stampendous to make the card base and layers. Papers are digital. They are the Echo Park Bark Collection, purchased from Snap Click Supply. I printed the Warm Puppy sentiment on one of the digital Bark Collection papers. The tennis ball was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.
I hope you can join us this week at QKR Stampede for our "Keep Your Eye on the Ball" challenge. It runs until Friday, Sept. 1.

Happy Birthday Pop Up Flowers -- for The Cutting Cafe
I have a birthday card to show you today, which works out perfectly, as today is my birthday! I also have several good friends with birthdays this month, so one of them will get this awesome card made from a cutting file found at The Cutting Cafe.
I was a bit nervous about trying it, but it's very easy to make, especially once I watched the video on how to assemble it found here.
First, the outside of the card:
There's no Cutting Cafe files here, just digital papers found at Snap Click Supplies. The rest is from Paper Wishes.
Now, for the inside. Ready?
Woohoo! Isn't that awesome?!? I love how that flower pops right out! It's the Flower Pop Up Card, for sure!
Here's another view of it:
Definitely a Flower Pop Up!
This week at The Cutting Cafe, we're all using the Flower Pop Up card. Visit the blog to see what everyone did with it. You'll be amazed! Leave a comment and you could win 3 sets of your choice!
