Halloween Treat Box -- for Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, so there's a new challenge starting today at the Outlawz.  That's the Paper ala Mode Challenge.  For the next 2 weeks, we want to see your Halloween projects.  Cards, layouts, boxes, or bags.  Add them to our challenge!

As per this whole year, we are sponsored this challenge by We Are 3 Digital Shop. Bonnie will award a gift certificate to her shop at the end of the challenge.

I thought it would be fun to create something other than a card for today's challenge, so I made  a Halloween Treat Box, using papers, a "spooky" printable and a sentiment from We Are 3 Digital Shop.

The papers on this treat box & tag are from the Cute Halloween papers.  The spider on the tag is part of the Itsy Bitsy Spider & Balloon Printable set.  The sentiment is part of the Halloween  Sentiment Set.

The gift bag and tag were created with a die set from Diamond Press. I used a bit of twine from Timeless Twine to finish the box.

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks for our Halloween Challenge. I'd love to see your Halloween creations!

Wild about Fall --for All Dressed Up Stamps

October 1 (wow!), and that means it's time for a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Challenge.  The challenge will run all month, and the theme is Autumn &/or Halloween.  You must use an All Dressed Up Stamps image to enter the challenge.  You'll find many wonderful images that fit the theme in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

I used one of the Three Little Autumn Girls for the card I created for the challenge:

I colored the Three Little Autumn Girls with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. The background slimline die is by Diamond press.  The word dies are from Spellbinders (wild about) and The Scrapping Cottage (Fall).  I finished the card off with a spot of twine from Timeless Twine.

I hope you can join us in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group for our Autumn &/or Halloween challenge. I'd love to see what you create, and you could win some wonderful digital images -- like this one!

Spring Bookworm -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

Today is my day to post for Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog!  I love Tuesdays!  The challenge that runs all month has the theme of Think Pink for Breast Cancer.  We want to see your pink Creations.

This week, the design team was given the added challenge of using handmade flowers on our project.  I used Spring Bookworm, and created some flowers to add:

I colored Spring Bookworm with a combination of Copic and Spectrum Noir markers.  I then fussy cut the image, die cut out a stitched circle (Crafter's Companion) and placed Spring Bookworm on it. The slimline die and the 'Friend' sentiment are from Diamond Press. The flowers are dies from Spellbinders that I colored with watercolor markers and layered.

It's Tuesday, and it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  Our current challenge is just over 1/2 way complete.  The theme is Thanksgiving or Autumn or Fall or Autumn colors (red or green or orange or brown).

For my inspiration card today, I used the beautiful image, Dream of Dahlia, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut.

I created the card base with a Sunflower paper from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The stitched flower layer is a die from Diamond Press.  The Big Thanks sentiment is a die from Spellbinders.  The dragonfly is a die from Cheery Lynn.

I hope you check the Ching-Chou Kuik blog often. For another challenge, check out the CCK Facebook group. You'll find great inspiration there, too.

Sweet Bunny -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings, everyone!  I am posting today on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration BlogWe have a new challenge getting underway on the CCK blog.  This month, our theme is 4-legged friends.  My 4-legged friends mean as much to me as some of me 2-legged friends, so I highly approved of this theme!

There are some wonderful images in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop that are perfect for this theme, including Sweet Bunny, which I used on this card:

I used the black & white version here of Sweet Bunny, then colored it with Copic markers.   I cut her out and backed her with nesting dies by Crafter's Companion.  The stitched background is a die from Diamond Press.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with banner die by Crafter's Companion. I used my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper on this, too.

You'll find wonderful inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog, so check there often.  You'll find another challenge and more inspiration in the CCK Facebook group

Lessons from the Easter Bunny

It's another Thursday, and that can only mean one thing!  It's time for another challenge at Cute Card Thursday. Every Thursday, you'll find a new challenge starting on the Cute Card Thursday Blog. This week, our sponsor is Whimsy Stamps, and the theme is Anything Goes.

I used the Whimsy Stamps digital image Esther Bunny for today's card. She's a release by Some Odd Girl.

I colored Esther Bunny with Copic markers, then fussy cut her out.  Here's a close up of the coloring:

She's got sort of a sassy look on her face, doesn't she?  Maybe she's already eaten all the jelly beans?

Here's a close up of the sentiment:

I found the sentiment while cruising Pinterest. Where else, right?

The floral stitched background is a slimline die from Diamond Press.  The floral background paper is part of the Caring Thoughts paper pad by Crafter's Companion.  The paper flowers are from my stash.

I hope you join us this week at Cute Card Thursday for our Anything Goes Challenge.  Whimsy Stamps is such a great sponsor.  You could win some great digis -- like this one!

Big Eye Girl -- for Colour Crazy Challenges

As I recover more & more from the stroke I had in October, I am able to return to some of the design teams I've put on hold (yea!!).  Today, I'm back with the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog, and it's great to be here!

Today's challenge will run for 2 weeks, and our sponsor is Oddball Art Stamp Co.  I had the fun of coloring up the digi called Big Eye Girl with Heart:

I colored Big Eye Girl with copic markers, then cut her out with a stitched die from my collection.  That fun double sided heart die in the background is from Crafter's Companion.  The trio of silver hearts is from Diamond Press.  I Didn't think she needed a sentiment at all.  The card spoke for itself.

A new challenge starts each week at Colour Crazy Challenges, and each challenge runs for 2 weeks (images must be hand colored).  We have lots of wonderful sponsors with incredible prizes that you can win.  I hope you can join in the fun!

With love -- for Jan's Digi Stamps

It's the first Monday of the month (and the new year!), so it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges, where they are always Anything Goes, all the time!  Link up whatever you are creating, even if it isn't a paper craft.  We'd love to see it!

Jan has a number of adorable penguin sets.  She does them VERY well.  She recently released this Puttin' on the Ritz set, and I just had to play with it!

All of Jan's sets come with several images that are both pre-colored and in black & white, then a few different sentiments that fit the theme of the set.  I used a black & white image here and colored it with Copic markers.

I plan to use this for hubby's valentine's card.  He spent 6 months in Antarctica so he has a thing for penguins!  He will adore this one!

I cut out the rose card base on my Silhouette Cameo, using a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The 'With Love' Sentiment is a die from Crafter's Companion.  The die cut rose and the small stitched heart are dies from Diamond Press.

I hope now that the busy Christmas season is over, you have more time to craft (which will translate into more time to join challenges).  I'd love to see you linked up at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges this next 2 weeks!

3 Kings Noel -- for Lavinia World Challenges

It's Thursday, and it's been 2 weeks, so it's time for another challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  It seems like this all just got started, and here we are at challenge #13 already.  The challenges are always anything goes, as long as you use an acrylic or rubber stamp -- no digital images allowed. Of course, we'd love to see your Lavinia Stamps being used!  One $15 gift certificate will be awarded each challenge.

I'm thinking Christmas cards this time of years I used the beautiful Three Kings stamp to create this:

I used 2 different shades of VersaFine Clair inks to obtain the color of green that I wanted.  I have this "thing" about green.  There seem to be many shades of it, but rarely is it the shade I want!  So, I first stamped with Green Oasis, then Rain Forest, repeating back and forth until I got the shade I wanted.  You'll find many shades of VersaFine Clair ink in the Lavinia World Store

Designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The dies are all from Queen & Company, except for the sentiment die.  That is from Diamond Press.

Three Kings-- perfect for Christmas cards!  Come shop the Lavinia World Store, then join us at Lavinia World Challenges.  I'd love to see what you create, and you could be the lucky winner of the $15 gift certificate, or one of the designer choice awards!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Well, Doggone! for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

I'm posting today for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  She has more than just kinda cute digis. They are darling.  You'll see what I mean in a second!

For today's card, I used both a digital image and digital papers created by Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

This is Girl Running with Dog:

I colored Girl Running with Dog with Copic markers.  The designer papers are called "Red & Blue Basic" digital paper.  There are 12 different papers in the set, and they are all fantastic! I've used 3 of them here.

I used the current sketch at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  Here's the sketch:

I added a couple of die cuts that I cut out from a Cheery Lynn set.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The border is a die from Diamond Press. The image is cut out with a Spellbinders die.

Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez has a great Facebook Group.  You'll find it here.  You'll also find great inspiration on her blog here.

You are Fabulous, Girl! Catch the Bug and Sketch Saturday Challenges

I'm doubling up on my posting today. Normally, this would be my Sketch Saturday post, but Bugaboo Stamps is the sponsor, and the challenge starting today at Catch the Bug is Anything Goes, so I thought I might as well support the Bugaboo team at the same time.  So, one card, 2 challenges.  Win, win!

I'll start by showing you my card, then show you the fun and easy sketch this week at Sketch Saturday.  I really, really liked working with this one, and know I will use it often!

Isn't she fabulous?  I'll show you the sketch, then tell you all about the digi at Bugaboo Stamps and where to find her.

Here's this week's sketch at Sketch Saturday:
Claire has the best sketches! This one is a keeper, for sure!

Now, for the Bugaboo Stamps deets.  This digi is Fashion Girlz 001.  I think she is so darn adorable!!!

I colored Fashion Girlz 001 with Copic markers, then obviously used the sketch to build the card.  Next, I had to find papers.  My source for that is almost always We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I can find papers for whatever I need, all in Bonnie's Etsy Shop.  The fun designer papers on this card are from the Howdy Paper Collection

The 'Fabulous' sentiment is a word cutting die from Crafter's Companion.  The banner is a die from Diamond Press.  The heart is a die from Spellbinders.  The last thing I added were the enamel dots, from Close To My Heart.

And, that, blog readers, is a wrap!  Thanks for visiting today!
Check out what the other design team members created using this sketch at Sketch Saturday, and visit the Catch the Bug Blog for inspiration, then to enter this week's Anything Goes Challenge!  Don't forget to pick up yesterday's Friday Freebie.  It's available just for this week in the Bugaboo Store!

It's my team's turn to post on the Color Crazy Challenge Blog.  There is a new challenge every Friday, but we take turns posting.  Challenges are Anything Goes, as long as your image is hand colored in whatever medium you choose.

Our sponsor this week is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  If you like humorous, then you have to check out Dr. Digis!

This is Derek Clapton Dundertons.  Look out, he is rockin' it!

I colored Derek Clapton with Copic markers, making him into one rockin' dude with his old fashioned radio and tennis racket!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 2 of the papers in the Back To Basics Collection

The sentiment was computer generated, then cut out with a die from Diamond Press.  A few embellishments that were sitting on my craft desk, and the card is done.

It's Tuesday, it's July, and it very well may be HOT where you live. That's why today's New Release at Bugaboo Stamps is perfect!  You'll want to grab it at 1/2 price and get it colored up ASAP, then enter it in a Catch the Bug challenge.  Then, you can win more Bugaboo Stamps digis.  How fun would that be?  But, I digress.... Today's New Release is AKV Beach Girl:

I colored AKV Beach Girl with Copic markers.  She colored up very quickly.  It wasn't long, and I was making the card.

Speaking of card construction, I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday to make this card.  It's an Anything Goes week, so I used the sketch from week #568.

I found the goggles and snorkel paper, plus the mini hearts paper at Pixel Scrapper.  They were part of the Summer Lovin' mini kit.  The sequins are from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The border was cut with a die from Diamond Press.  The sentiment was cut out with a die from my stash.

You're the Best! for All Dressed Up Stamps

July 1.  July 1?  Where did June go?  July 1 -- that means it's the start of a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  The theme for July is Gems &/or Pearls.  Easy, right?  So many of Wendy Burns beautiful girlie images will work wonderfully with gems and pearls.  Start coloring them up!  You'll find them in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

For my design team inspiration, I colored up the darling Pretty Lashes, adding pearls to the card:

My original plan had been to add a pearl necklace, but I didn't have any seed beads that looked pearl-like to make it work.  This was plan B.  I colored Pretty Lashes with Copic markers.  I just love this image!  Isn't she beautiful?  I don't know if it's the upswept hair, or the flowers in her hair, or maybe it's those Pretty Lashes, but I think she's just awesome!   Do you like the papers on this card?  They are also from All Dressed Up Stamps.  The pretty pink background paper is from the All Dressed Up Pink papers.  The pretty blue border is from the Wedding papers

I used a sketch from a couple weeks ago at Sketch Saturday to help me construct this card.  They have a plethora of great sketches if you're stuck!  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart.  The pearls, also from Close To My Heart, were all white, but I used a Copic marker and colored them to match my Pretty Lashes girl.  I love this technique!  I works great with gems and ribbon, too.  The border was made with a Diamond Press die.

Gems &/or pearls -- it's the theme all this month for the All Dressed Up Facebook Group Challenge.  I do hope you join us and try to win some of these darling digis for yourself!

What a Catch! for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

June -- the month of Father's Day, graduations, and here in WI, free fishing day!  I have a card today that celebrates the love of fishing.  I live in a very small city that is surrounded by 6 lakes.  We fish.  We fish year round, and we celebrate all things fishing.  That's why I fell in love with this wonderful Seagull Fishing digital image from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.

I colored up Seagull Fishing with Copic markers.   I cut out the fish border at the bottom of the card with my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  I added eyes to the fish with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Anthracite.

The fish paper on the left of the card was found at Pixel Scrapper.  It is digital.  I computer generated the sentiment, and cut it out with a Diamond Press die.

You can find many wonderful digital and acrylic stamps in the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store. She also has a Zazzle store, some personal items for sale, and her beautiful cards.  If you haven't already, join the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group for a monthly challenge, friendship, and inspiration.

Wine O'Clock Birthday Wishes -- for Sasayaki Glitter

It's the 15th of the month, and that means it's time to feature Oldies but Goodies at Sasayaki Glitter Stamps. We're re-visiting The Boys this month, and I chose to color up and create with Wine O'Clock

Wine O'Clock reminds me of that saying, "it's 5 O'Clock somewhere!".  I colored Wine O'Clock with Copic markers, and fussy cut it,  then set out to find some wine related papers to create with.  I found this wine glass paper at Pixel Scrapper.  The wine glass die cuts are a die from Technique Tuesday.  The tag behind Wine O'Clock is from Close To My Heart.  The banner that I stamped the sentiment on is from Diamond Press.

There will be other Oldie but Goodie boy images featured today at the Sasayaki Glitter Blog, so I hope you check it out here.  You'll find even more great inspiration in the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook Group

Birthday Derek -- Outlawz Progressive Freebie

Happy Tuesday!  This is the most beautiful day of spring so far!  Winter (my Golden Retriever) and I are just home from the dog park.  He had so much fun with a couple of his buddies.  I'll include a couple of recent pictures of my boy at the end of this post.   He's 11 months old now, so probably full grown, but still all puppy.

Derek -- he's the progressive freebie image this month at The Outlawz Monthly Progressive Freebie Challenge.  He's provided by Dr. Digi.  He's called Valentine Derek, but I need a birthday card, so mine's birthday Derek:

I colored Valentine Derek with Copic markers.  Handsome, isn't he?  I thought of using the sentiment, "I used to be a stud muffin, now I'm just a muffin", but I didn't know how to fit all that on the card.

I used the sketch from the Wednesday Sketch Challenge that ends today, so I'm squeaking in under the wire on this one.  Here's the sketch:

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  I like the bright colors of the papers.  I thought they looked celebratory, and worked well with my image and for a birthday card.  The birthday banner die cut on the left side is from Diamond Press.

OK, I'm going to wrap this post up and get back outside to enjoy this glorious day!

Here's Winter at 11 months:

Birthday Boy -- for Sasayaki Glitter

It's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration at Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog. The theme this month is "male".  Naz has some adorable male images in the Sasayaki Glitter Etsy store.  Check them out here!

For today's inspiration, I used the Sasayaki Glitter image, Benny (image #148) to create this:

I colored Benny with Copic markers.  Doesn't he have the most mischievous expression on his face?

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I used the Roses Are Red paper collection.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is a die that I cut.  It is from Diamond Press.  The stitched oval dies are from Spellbinders dies.

I hope you find time to still join in on the Sasayaki Glitter "Male" challenge.  It will run until September 2, so there's still plenty of time to link up!  Have fun coloring!
