Hello Spring! For Paper ala Mode Challenge

Hellooooooo spring!  My favorite season of the year!  We're starting a new challenge today over at The Outlawz.  It's the Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge.  For the next 2 weeks, the theme is Spring &/or Easter.  Challenges are always sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop, and I used her products in the card below:

I used 2 of the beautiful papers in Margaret's Irises on this card.  There's one on the furthest layer back of the card, and one that the sentiment is one. There is a Margaret's Wreaths layer printed on to one of those Margaret's Irises papers.

The lacy doily dies are by Sharon Callis.  The 'Hello Spring' die is from Crafter's Companion.  The pretty crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art's Etsy Shop.

I hope you can join us over at the Outlawz this next 2 weeks for our Paper ala Mode Spring &/or Easter challenge.  I'd love to see what you make, and we've got great sponsors!

Orchid Silhouette -- For SheepSki Designs Challenges

It's February first, and a new challenge is starting today over on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge will run for the month of February and has the theme of Romance &/or use Red.

There's nothing more romantic than flowers, right?  OK, maybe chocolate is more romantic, or a nice dinner out, or coming home to a clean house, but you get my drift.  Flowers are a symbol of romance.  So, I decided to create with the beautiful digital image, Mini Orchid Silhouette:

I printed the Mini Orchid Silhouette image onto a new paper in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Painted Strokes papers. Then, I used a die set by Sharon Callis to create the card. The silver butterfly is a die from Cheery Lynn. The 'Love You' sentiment is from Spellbinders.

You'll find this pretty Mini Orchid Silhouette and many others that fit this month's theme of "Romance &/or Red" in the SheepSki Designs Etsy Shop.  Pick up a new favorite, and join us this month!  I'd love to see what you create!

Holiday Roses -- for The Outlawz Paper ala Mode Challenge

It's Saturday, and that means there's a new challenge starting over at the Outlawz!  It's time for a new Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge.  For the next 2 weeks, the theme is Christmas.  Here's the last little bit of incentive to finish those Christmas cards and projects! (or start on next years, perhaps?)

All year long We Are 3 Digital Shop has been the sponsor of our challenges, and she is again this challenge.  You'll find fantastic digital papers, sentiments, and printables in the We Are 3 Digital Shop

Here's what I created for the challenge, using several products from the We Are 3 Digital Shop

The papers on this card are from the Fairy Holiday papers.  The rose is one of 4 in the Roses Printable set.  The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas Sparkle sentiment set

The dies I used on this card are by Sharon Callis.  The crinkle ribbon is by Diana Larson, and is found in her D.L. Larson Etsy Shop.

Please join us for our Christmas challenge at The Outlawz Paper ala Mode!

Using some of the fantastic vintage products in the We Are 3 Digital Shop, I created this for the challenge:

Blue Dragonfly for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Monday, so it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration Blog. This week, the inspiration team is using the theme pink &/or blue.  I decided to use both!

I found an awesome image in the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy Shop I wanted to color up.

Using Hello Dragonfly:

I colored Hello Dragonfly with Copic markers.  I concentrated on using pink and blue colors, with just a hint of blue violet.

The papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The pink flowered paper is one of the Darcy's Garden papers. The blueish background paper is from the Pastel Fantasy papers. Those pretty dies used to cut the papers are from Sharon Callis.  The dragonfly was cut out of foil paper and a Cheery Lynn die.

Check out all the awesome inspiration at Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration Blog
