Welcome to Winter -- a New Release at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Tuesday.  For some, that may mean tacos, for others, that means New Release day at Bugaboo Stamps!  I find new releases more exciting than tacos, myself!  Today's New Release is a great one!  I had such pleasure coloring it up!

This is Snowman Winter, and I colored him with Copic markers.  He'll be 1/2 price for the week in the Bugaboo Stamps Store.  He's a quick and easy color, so you're on to designing your card in no time -- great for mass producing, if you'd need to.

I used a wonky stitched oval die from The Scrapping Cottage (Cottage Cutz) to cut him out.  The snowflakes were cut out with dies from Lawn Fawn. Papers on this card are new from We Are 3 Digital Shop. These are 3 of the Shabby Christmas papers.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers made with this darling Snowman Winter digi over on the Catch the Bug blog

One Card Panel, 3 Cards -- for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

I'm pleased to be posting today for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.    I had a great time with today's post!

I've been playing with a card panel die, and I want to show you what I've come up with!  One panel, 3 looks!

The die is a Diagonal Striped Card Panel Die from Frantic Stamper.  There's lots you can do with this!

The first card I created was a Christmas card:

I'll tell you more about it in a bit, but first, a photo of all the supplies used in today's projects:

All the die cut pieces for the first card look like this:
Once it was die cut, it was easy to put together.  I used Stick It Adhesive for small die cuts and the Best Glue Ever for everything else.

Card 2 is a thank you card.  In this one, the card is a landscape card, and I cut out a square to go behind the diagonal panel.  Here are all the parts of the card after they are die cut, but before they are put together:

Here's the assembled Thank You card:

The final card is a sympathy card.  I went back to the original orientation with this one.  Here are all the pieces die cut:
Here's the last card, assembled:

I'll give you links for all the wonderful dies and products I used on these cards, found in the Dies R Us Store

I also used dies from Crafter's CompanionSizzix, and Memory Box.

I hope you enjoyed your visit and that I was able to inspire you to use your dies, create a project, and come play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for your chance to win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of every month.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Winter Cuddle-- for Colour Crazy Challenge Blog

It's Friday, and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog.  There is a new challenge every Friday, with rotating teams.  It is my week to post, and I had the great fun of working with an image from Ching-Chou Kuik Digital Stamps

This is Winter Cuddle:

I colored Winter Cuddle with Copic markers.  It's not my best job of coloring, but I'm trying not to shy away from my darkest marker shades.

Once I got Winter Cuddle colored up, I used 2 sizes of a Spellbinders die set to cut her out and back her.  The snowflake paper is from Close To My Heart.  I no longer know who makes the beautiful snowflake border die.  It's been in my collection for quite some time.

The Colour Crazy Challenge Blog -- challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you hand color your image.  You can use any coloring medium you want.  We have great sponsors, so you can win great prizes!  Come link up with us this week.

'Tis the Season for Reindeer -- for Lavinia World Challenges

'Tis the season to start thinking seriously about making Christmas cards.  'Tis also time for a new challenge at Lavinia World Challenge Blog.  Challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a rubber or acrylic stamp (no digis).  There is a $15 gift certificate winner each challenge, and the design team chooses a few honorable mentions.  It's all great fun!

For this challenge, I made a Christmas card using a beautiful reindeer stamp.  It is one of the most realistic reindeer stamps I've ever seen!

I started by inking my background with distress inks and spritzed them with a light spray of water to make the "snow".  I let that dry very well.  In the meantime, I die cut the snow drifts and the Tis the Season sentiment.  Once I knew the background was good and dry, I stamped the Reindeer stamp (small)  onto the inked background.  I stamped the Reindeer with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne.  All I had to do was glue the pieces of the card together and I was done!

I hope you join us at Lavinia World Challenges.  I'd love to see what you make, and you just might win that $15 gift certificate from the Lavinia World Store

Boo! for Scribbles Designs

It's the 23rd of the month, and it's the day I leave a bit of inspiration on the Scribbles Designs Blog.

I've been working hard to get enough Halloween cards made for the residents I visit in the nursing home where I volunteer.  I took advantage of this adorable #f97 pumpkin (free) that I found in the Scribbles Designs Store to create another Halloween Card:

I colored #F97 Pumpkin with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.  The die cuts are all from Spellbinders. The papers are from Close To My Heart.

Check out what the other Scribbles Designs team members created today! You won't be disappointed!

I'm Nuts About Books! for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Wednesday, and every Wednesday is "Humor Me Wednesday" on the Catch the Bug Blog.  Did you know that October 22 was both Nut Day AND Smart is Cool Day? I did not want two such important milestones to go unnoticed, so I created this bookmark for the occasion!

I used Nuts About - Books, colored him up with Copic markers, then fussy cut him out.

I found the fun books paper at Pixel Scrapper.  The sentiment is my own, and was computer generated.  The fibers are retired, from Close To My Heart.  All the die cuts on this project are dies from Paper Wishes.

There will be other significantly {humorous} days that the Bugaboo Stamps design team honors on the Catch the Bug Blog.  Please take a look to pay homage!

Autumn Leaves -- an All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

Oct.22--that means it's time to showcase this month's new releases at All Dressed Up Stamps. There are 4 new releases.  You'll find them showcased on the the All Dressed Up blog, and in the All Dressed Up Facebook group.  They, and all the All Dressed Up Stamps, are available in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.

It was pure joy to color up one of this month's New Releases, Autumn Leaves:

I colored Autumn Leaves with Copic markers.  Isn't she adorable? She is kicking up those leaves and enjoying the wonders of the season!

I cut the card front out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you find time to check out the other new releases this month.  You may find them the perfect digi to grab, then color up for this month's challenges at the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog, and in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  Join us both places!

We Have a KOALA-ty Friendship -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

I'm posting today for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  Patricia has some of the cutest stamps -- both acrylic and digital!  They are more than just Kinda Cute!

Today, I have a bit of inspiration for you using one of her Koala digital stamps.  It is one set that comes with 3 different bear in it.  I happened to love the little koala butt in this digi!

See?  Doesn't he have a cute butt?  Well, he's cute all over, don't you think?

I colored the Koala with Copic markers, then fussy cut him.  I heated up my foiling machine, and foiled a background for him.  It's hard to see too much shine, but it's very shiny on that Moroccan pattern in real life.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Trees Paper Collection, except for the paper that the sentiment is printed on.  That's from the Dreamy Creamy paper pack

There's a wonderful Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group with inspiration, a monthly contest, and great camaraderie.  Also, make sure you visit the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Shop to see all she has to offer!

You are Strong! for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the 3rd Monday of the month, so it's time for some mid-month inspiration over at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  The optional twist this month is "courage", or you can link up anything you create with a positive theme.

Every month, our ongoing sponsor is Scribbles Designs.  I found an awesome, free sentiment in the Scribbles Designs Store that I used as the focal point of my card:

I printed the sentiment large and bold onto white card stock, then began inking.  I used a few pink shades of ink from my Spectrum Noir Harmony ink pads. I love the way they blend!   I found the wonderful pink ribbon designer paper in the Imagine That Digistamp Store. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the very old brad is from Close To My Heart.

We are also sponsored this month from Beccy's Place.  Link up your projects to be eligible to win a gift certificate from her store!  You have until Nov. 3.

Spooooky! for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Saturday, and there is a bingo challenge happening at the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog that starts today and runs for a week.  I've been working hard on getting Halloween cards made for the nursing home residents where I volunteer. I took advantage of today's challenge and post to make another one.  I'll show you the card first, then the bingo card and what I used, and of course, link up the awesome image from the Bugaboo Stamps Store.

This card uses Halloween Peeker Ghost, colored with Copic markers.

Here's the bingo challenge going on this week at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog

I used the bottom row:  3 layers, orange, and ribbon.

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  The Spooky sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios. I just got it, and I think it is so cute!  The spider web ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a past sketch from Sketch Saturday to jump start my creativity on this one.

I hope you join us this week at Catch the Bug Challenges.  There are lots of possibilities with the October Bugaboo Bingo challenge!  Come link up!!

You are Boo-tiful -- for Di's Digi Designs Challenge

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at Di's Digi Designs Challenge Blog. Challenges go for 2 weeks, and the theme for this challenge is Halloween or Harvest.

I found this darling Halloween image in the Di's Digi Stamps Store, so decided to go with the Halloween portion of the challenge theme:

This card uses the image Bat Bear.  It is available in both black & white and colored versions.  This is the black and white version of Bat Bear, colored with Copic markers.

The papers are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are 4 papers from the Cute Halloween paper collection.  The sentiment is an acrylic stamp, and the bats are vinyl stickers.

Halloween or harvest -- both good themes for this time of year!  I hope you are able to join us this next 2 weeks at Di's Digi Designs Challenges.  I'd love to see what you create, and you could win the cutest digi stamps -- like this one!

It's a Jeep Kind of Day! for We Are 3 Digital Shop

Hello, crafty friends!  Today is my husband's birthday, and I'm sharing the card I made for his big day.  He bought a new Jeep a couple months ago, and he is enthralled with it.  He doesn't love it more than he loves our dog, Winter, but he may love it more than he does his wife!

Bonnie, the owner of We Are 3 Digital Shop, recently designed this Jeep, with many different views and options for coloring or partially colored, and I decided it would be perfect for my husband's birthday card.

Here's what I created with one of the Jeep images:

I used the partially colored Jeep image, added orange (the color of my husband's Jeep), and also colored the windshield and lights. Once I got done coloring the Jeep,  I fussy cut it.  Then, I used papers from the Cute Halloween papers in the We Are 3 Digital Shop. These papers are definitely not just for Halloween!   I stamped the sentiment, cut out both the stitched ovals with dies from Cottage Cutz, added the bronze studs (retired from Close To My Heart), and my husband's birthday card is ready for his special day!

Check out the We Are 3 Digital Shop for papers, sentiments, and darling images, too.  You'll find something for whatever you're looking for (and maybe a few things you didn't even realize you needed!!)

Best Witches -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and that's Oldie but Goodie day on the Catch the Bug Blog, featuring Bugaboo Stamps.  Every Thursday, some older, but well loved digis are featured.

I've been looking for "cute, not spooky" Halloween themed digis to make into cards for the nursing home residents where I volunteer.  I found just what I was looking for in the Bugaboo Stamps Store!

This card uses one of the tags in the Halloween Tag Set 01.  There are 3 tags altogether in this set.

I colored up the cute cat tag with a bit of Copic marker coloring.  It didn't take much!  Then, I used 2 different sized Lifestyle Crafts circle dies to cut out the circle and back it with the orange patterned paper.   The black glitter paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Halloween paper set

The fun Halloween garland is a die from Cottage Cutz.  I cut it out with some purple foil paper I found in my stash.

I hope you check out to see what other Bugaboo Stamps designers made for Oldie but Goodie Thursday over at Catch the Bug

Frenchie Joy -- for Scrapy Land Challenges

It's the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  The theme is Anything Goes as long as you use a die or brand that Scrapy Land sells. Easy!

I recently saw this Spellbinders die, and just had to have it.  I'm so dog obsessed, that I knew I needed it for some of my dog loving friends for their Christmas cards. I know I'll be replicating this card a few times:

I cut out the 2 sizes of banners with a die set from Lawn Fawn, called Stitched Party Banner Dies.   The Ornate Joy is from Frantic Stamper.  The blue eyes were achieved with dots of a Viva Decor Turquoise Pearl Pen.

The designer papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The handsome dog's bow tie came from the Peppermint Collection. Houndstooth Holiday is the other paper.

I hope you can join us in the next 2 weeks at Scrapy Land Challenges.  You could win a $15 gift certificate!  Remember, it's anything goes, as long as you use a die or brand of die sold in the Scrapy Land Store

Best Witches -- the Outlawz Monthly Progressive Freebie Challenge

Hello, and happy Tuesday. I've been entering the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenges each month.  This month I got it done with 1/2 the month to spare.  Hurray for me! This month's progressive freebie image was provided to the participants by Polkadoodles.  She's a real sweetie! She is part of a collection from Winnie Wednesday.

I colored the Winnie Wednesday image with Copic markers.  I cut out the spider web background with a cutting die from Queen & Company.  The Best Wishes sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios. The wonky stitched oval die is by The Scrapping Cottage.

Winnie Wednesday is looking fairly intense.  I'm not sure if she's going to wish you a Happy Halloween or cast a spell.  Better beware!

Spooky Halloween Tree -- Stella Says Sketch at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Sunday, and it's a Stella Says Sketch day on the Catch the Bug Blog.  Stella's got a great sketch for us to work with today!

First, I'll show you my card, then I'll show you the sketch.

I used a digital stamp from the Bugaboo Stamps Store called Halloween Pumpkin Tree to create this:

And here's the sketch:

The Halloween Pumpkin Tree was printed on a white piece of paper, and was then inked with Spectrum Noir Harmony ink pads.  They blend beautifully!

The fun paper on the left side of the card is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's one of the Halloween papers (currently 50% off!).

The spider web die cuts and the "boo!" sentiment are dies from Spellbinders.  The silver foil trim is from Close To My Heart.

Stella Says Sketch is very other Sunday at the Catch the Bug Blog, so you have 2 weeks to use this fun sketch and link up with us.

It's Saturday, and every Saturday, there's a new sketch at Sketch Saturday Challenges.   The sponsor this week is the wonderful Polkadoodles

For today's card (and sketch) and had the joy of coloring up Ruby Prom.

Ruby Prom comes in a black & white version and a pre-colored version.  This is the black & white version, colored with Copic markers.

Here's this week's sketch that I used to create the card:
As you can tell, I followed the sketch closely.  The card is large.  It is a 5x7 card. The papers on the card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Pinkalicious papers.  The Fabulous sentiment is also from We Are 3 Digital Shop

Believe in the Magic of Autumn -- for Lavinia World Challenges

It's Thursday, and we're starting a new challenge at Lavinia World Challenges.  Challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a rubber or acrylic stamp.  Of course, we love to see Lavinia Stamps, but it is not necessary.  Any rubber or acrylic stamp is good to link up.  There will be one winner or a $15 gift certificate for the Lavinia World Store.  The design team also chooses several honorable mention projects.

I love fall!  I love the colors of fall, the cooler temperatures, and hiking with my dog and husband or friends.  Recently, I've been taking pictures around the neighborhood of colors and plants.  I have been quite sure there are fairies living very close by.  What do you think?

I will link all the Lavinia Stamps used on this layout at the bottom of this post.  First, I'd like to share some close ups so you can hopefully see the sparkle in the fairies wings.

Here's a close up of Daydreaming Silhouette, and the sentiment stamp, Believe in Magic.

A close up of Chasing Dreams:

A close up of the top of the layout with the Fairy Chain (large) and the Vine

A close up, although it is blurry because of the angle, of the sparkle on the fairies wings.  I added the sparkle with Wink of Stella pens:

Now, to tell you about all the supplies I used on this layout that can be found in the Lavinia World Store:

in Pinecone, Morning Mist, Fallen Leaves, and Nocturne

I hope you join in these next 2 weeks at the Lavinia World Challenges.  I'd love to see what you create, especially if you use these wonderful Lavinia Stamps
