Puppy Tail Treat Bag -- for PAM Challenge Blog

It's Saturday, so that means a new challenge is starting at Paper ala Mode Challenges, over at The Outlawz! Today's challenge is Anything Goes, and it will run for the next 2 weeks. We Are 3 Digital Shop is our sponsor for all of 2021.  Thanks, dear friend Bonnie!

I love making treat boxes, great bags, treat purses, any kind of treat container.  When I see friends and family, I like to have a little something to give them.  It's just my "thing".  I also love dogs, and collect all things dog -- dog paper, dog stamps, dog embossing folders -- you get the idea!  Last year for my birthday, Bonnie, from We Are 3 Digital Shop designed dog themed papers and printables in my honor called Muddy Paws.  I used those today, along with some dog sentiments she designed.  I combined my love of dogs with my love of treat bags and made this:

Using the Muddy Paws papers, I cut the treat bag out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The sentiment is one of the Dog Sentiments. The cute stamp was a Christmas gift from Bonnie. It's by Nellie Snellen (Nellie's Choice) and is a clear acrylic stamp.

I have a couple more views of the treat bag I thought I'd share:

I hope you join us this next to weeks for our Anything Goes themed challenge at the Outlawz Paper ala Mode.  It's a great group, and I'd love to see what your create!

Snow Much Love -- For Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and that's Oldie but Goodie day over on the Catch the Bug Blog for Bugaboo Stamps.  There are literally hundreds -- maybe thousands of digis that would be considered Oldies, but certainly goodies in the Bugaboo Stamps Store

Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I thought I'd feature something with a sweetheart theme for today.  How about a couple of cute snow people?  How about this Snowman 2 Couple?

I colored Snowman 2 Couple with Copic markers, then used dies by Spellbinders to cut them out and back them.

The papers on this card are from Crafter's Companion.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a die from Queen & Company.  The snowflakes are dies from Lawn Fawn.

That's it for my Oldie but Goodie.  Visit the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented Bugaboo designer have created over at Catch the Bug!

Keep Smiling -- An All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

It's the 22nd of the month, and that's the day I'm lucky enough to post a New Release image for All Dressed Up Stamps.  There are usually 3 new releases each month, and today, I got to play with a little sweetie from the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop called Keep Smiling

I colored Keep Smiling with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers, and Copic markers.  The background paper is from a stash I've been accumulating from Crafter's Companion.  The dies used on this card are from Lawn Fawn.  The sentiment on the tag was computer generated. The crinkle ribbon is by D.L. Art and can be found in her Etsy Shop

There are 3 New Releases in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy shop, and you can see what the ADU design team created with them in the ADU Facebook group, and on the All Dressed Up Stamps blog.  You'll find challenges both those places, too.  Join us!

Be Mine Wreath -- for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

It's time for a little mid-challenge inspiration at JDS challenges (Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges).  The challenge will run until January 30, and they are always Anything Goes!

It's not all that long until Valentine's Day (less than a month!), so I have begun to makes some cards.  Jan Mayhew has some beautiful sets that can be used for the occasion in her store, including the one I used on this card, Valentine Wishes.  It's even on sale!

As always with Jan's sets,  there are black & white and pre-colored images, and several in the set.  There are also several sentiments.  I used one of the black & white images here and colored it with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers, then fussy cut it out.

I used a heart die set that I've had for a long time to create the card.  It's from a company that is no longer in business.  I like it because it cuts out a nice big heart and scalloped layer.  The scalloped heart is cut out on a paper by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the Dotted Swiss papers

Have you linked up at JDS Challenges yet? If you heaven't, there's still plenty of time.  If you use a Jan Mayhew image, you increase your chances of winning an awesome gift certificate!  Woohoo!

Fly With the Wind -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting again today for the Ching-Chou Kuik inspiration & Challenge Blog.  Our challenge this week is to use at least 2 ribbons.  I've used a bit of lace and 2 ribbons on a very feminine image:

This is Fly With the Wind, colored with Copic markers.

I cut the card out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The dotted paper is from Crafter's Companion.

We have a "Happy" challenge going on over on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge Blog.  I'd love for you to join us there. Visit the Ching-Chou Kuik Etsy shop for beautiful images that are bound to make you happy and make you feel inspired!

Oh Deer! Winter is Here! For Bugaboo Stamps

Here we are in the coldest days of winter where I will.  Often it is well below zero, with temperatures too cold to snow.  The good news is, the weather is perfect for staying in and crafting!

I'm posting today for Bugaboo Stamps.  On the Catch the Bug Blog, it's Anything But a Card day. When I was trying to decide my project for today, I decide on a tag that I could easily tuck inside a card.  I have a young friend I often send cards to. I thought she might enjoy this tag:

I've colored this deer up every season.  I think he is so darn cute! He's only $1.00 in the Bugaboo Store

I colored the Deer with Copic markers, then computer generated the sentiment.  The plaid paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Winter Plaid papers.  The tag is cut out with a die set from Sue Wilson Designs.

Check out what the other designers have made for Anything But a Card today, over on the Catch the Bug Blog

Purse Gift Bags -- for Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, so that means it's challenge time!  Where?!? At The Outlawz!  At the Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge, that it!

The theme for the next 2 weeks is Anything Goes!  Yea!  I love Anything Goes challenge themes!

Again this year, We Are 3 Digital Shop is the sponsor of Paper ala Mode Challenges. Thank you, Bonnie Kohane for your generosity!

Bonnie has some fairly new Purse Texture papers in the We Are 3 Digital Shop, and I have a new purse gift bag die I was dying to try out, so it seemed like a good opportunity to combine the 2.  Here's what I came up with:

I used 2 of the papers in the Purse Textures collection. There are 8 papers altogether in the collection.  The die is from Crafter's Companion.

Here's close ups of the 2 purses:

I left this one plain to show off the Purse Textures paper.

I hope you join us the next 2 weeks at The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenge. I'd love to see what you create!

Brrrrr! For Dies R Us Challenges

It's the 15th of the month, and it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  Challenges are now always Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store.  There are hundreds of dies in the store, so this is easy to do!

It's the heart of Winter, and these are traditionally the coldest weeks of the year here in NW Wisconsin.  It's a good thing I like winter!  I wanted to embrace winter, and this little polar bear seems to be celebrating the season!

This adorable sledding bear is part of a set by Sue Wilson, of Creative Expressions.  It's called the Festive Collection - Polar Bear Playtime.  There's also an ice skating polar bear.  Cute, cute!

The drifted snow was created with dies from Lawn Fawn.  These are the Stitched Hillside Borders dies.

The 'Brrrrr' sentiment is one of many in the Elizabeth Craft Winter Wish Sentiment Set

There are great shopping opportunities at both the Dies R Us Store and the Didi Crafts Store (for Canadian shoppers).

I hope you can join our Anything Goes Challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  This challenge will go until the end of the month!

Bugaboo Stamp's 11th Birthday Bash! Here We Go!!!

Bugaboo Stamps is 11 years old!  Wow!! What an accomplishment!   Few companies have made it that long in this industry.  I'm proud to be even a small part of the success of this very awesome company!  Huge congratulations to Jodie for all she's accomplished!

Bugaboo Stamps is having a week-long party to celebrate, and you are invited! You can find all the details for the event pinned to the top over on the Catch the Bug Blog

The theme for the week-long Birthday Bash is Woodland Friends.  You'll find tons of digis in the Bugaboo Stamps Store that will work for this theme (including yesterday's freebie).

Today's challenge, to get us started for the week, is simply to create a birthday project using a woodland creature.  Here's what I created!

This uses the Bugaboo Stamps image, Turtles - Birthday.  I colored Turtles - Birthday with Triblend markers by Spectrum Noir.  I'm trying to get used to them, but after using Copic for years, the colors and nibs take some adjusting too.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are a retired set called Birthday Bouquet. The sentiment is a die cut set by Spellbinders. I also cut out the Turtles - Birthday and backed it with a Spellbinders circle die set.

I hope you join us this week for our Birthday Bash - Woodland Friends Celebration!  There are incredible prizes for you to win and great challenges to participate in all week long! Visit Catch the Bug Blog each day for all the details.

Oh Deer! Another Birthday! For Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and that means it's time for a Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps!  Every Friday!  It's Freebie Time! Every freebie stays in the store for a week.

Tomorrow, Bugaboo Stamps celebrates a birthday.  Eleven (11!!!) years of being in business!  That is incredible in this business where companies are going out of business left and right.  Congrats to Jodie on her success!  The party is a week-long event, and you are the invited guest!  Catch all the fun on the Catch the Bug Blog

Today's freebie called simply, Deer:

I flipped one of the images, sized them about the same, colored them with Copic markers, then fussy cut them.

The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a Spellbinders speech bubble die.

The papers on this card are from Crafter's Companion.

Check out what the other talented designers have mad with this cute freebie over on the Catch the Bug Blog. Then, join us tomorrow for all the fun!

Roaring 2021! for Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges

It's a new year, and a new month, and it's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps Challenges!  Challenges will go through Jan. 31, and they are always Anything Goes.  There will be gift certificates for an overall winner, and Jan's Digi winner, plus 3 designer choice awards.

Since it's so early in the month, I used one of Jan's New Year's sets to create a celebratory card for today's inspiration:

This set is called Happy New Year.  It comes with a champagne bucket, a clock, and some streamers, plus more sentiments.  As always, Jan's images are in both black & white and pre-colored.

I colored these Happy New Year champagne flutes with Copic markers, then fussy cut them. The Roaring 2021 is also from the Happy New Year set.

The bubble border is a die from Crafter's Companion.  I cut it out of white card stock and inked it with distress inks until it got a champagne color to it, then mounted it in gold.

I truly hope you find time to craft now that the busy holidays are behind us, and join us at the JDS Challenges. Remember, they are always Anything Goes!

This image is Hettie's Daisy, colored with Copic markers.  I cut out Hettie's Daisy with a wonky stitched oval die by The Scrapping Cottage.  The papers on this card are from Crafter's Companion, as is the Happy Birthday stamp and banner.  I plan to mail this card out so I kept it flat and free of embellishments.

The background paper on this card is from the Celebrate papers.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthday Sentiments set.  The paper that the sentiment is printed on and the banner behind it are from the Something Blue papers

Those pretty champagne flutes are by Tutti Designs.  I purchased them in the Dies R Us Store. A  the other dies are from Crafter's Companion.

Snow Adorable -- for SheepSki Designs

It's a new month (and a new year!), and that means there's a new challenge starting over on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. The challenge will run all month, and the theme for January is - Anything Goes!

I have a friends who loves gnomes, so any chance I get, I color up a cute gnome for her.  This particular one from SheepSki Designs is cuter than cute!

This is Sno' Worries:

I colored Sno' Worries with Copic markers, then use nesting dies by Crafter's Companion to cut it out and create the card.  The sentiment is computer generated.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are 2 of the papers in the Winter Plaid paper pack.

A few snowflakes from my stash finish off the card.

I hope you join us this month at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes Challenge.  You could win great digis like this one, and I'd love to see your creations!

A new year, a new month, a new challenge!  January 1 means there is a new challenge starting today at All Dressed Up Stamps, in the ADU Facebook Group. Challenges need to use an All Dressed Up Stamps image, and there is always a theme.  This month's theme is "CAS - Keep it Simple").

It's January, and it's the heart of winter where I live.  With that in mind, I used one of the adorable Winter images that Wendy Burns is so talented at drawing for us to color up.  Here's Little Skater:

I colored Little Skater with Copic markers.  The sentiment was computer generated.  I used dies from Crafter's Companion to cut out Little Skater, the sentiment, and to create the card.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The sparkly blue paper is one of the
Christmas Magic papers. The pretty pink papers is part of the Kerst Christmas Collection

Since this is a CAS card, I didn't add embellishments to it.

Hello Winter -- for Dies R Us Challenges

2021!  I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a new year.  2020 is a good year to leave behind us, as far as I'm concerned.  Here's to hoping 2021 is a bright year for all of us!

Jan. 1!  That means it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  Starting today, and from here forward, all the Dies R Us challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store

I love Birch Press Design Dies.  I love to work with them any chance I get.  When Birch Press Design recently had a new release, I picked up this lovely Mini Snowflake Frame Layer Set.

Doesn't it make a beautiful card?

The Mini Snowflake Frame has 3 layers.  You don't need to use all the layers, but it sure is prettier when you do.

I used my Crafter's Companion Hot Foil Machine to foil the background.  The banners are dies from Crafter's Companion.  I stamped the sentiment.

I hope you can join us at Dies R Us Challenges for our Anything Goes Challenge! Start the year out right, and link up! There will be one winner of a Dies R Us Gift Certificate, and 3 Designer Choice Awards.
