Thank You For Your Kindness -- for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's Monday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Our theme this month is Thankfulness.  Our sponsor is A Day For Daisies.

I thought these Sunflowers is a Mason Jar would make a lovely Thank You card:

I colored them with Copic Markers, then used some Spellbinders Edger dies to create the card.  The papers on the card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  These are 2 of the Sunflower papers.  The sentiment was hand stamped from my stash.

Join us for our Thankfulness challenge at the Path of Positivity

You Are Pawsitively Wonderful -- for Path of Positivity

It's the first Monday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  Each month there are optional themes, and this month's is Admiration.

When I think of what/who I admire most, my dog ranks right up there.  Well, dogs.  Period.  They are such a loving, forgiving, giving animal.  I think God knew what He was doing when he created dogs, and it is no accident that God spelled backwards is dog.

With that idea in mind, I created a card with this month's awesome sponsor, A Day for Daisies:

This is Buddy, colored with Copic markers.  The love between a boy and his dog, or a girl and her dog, can be life transforming for that child.  Our Golden Retriever, Winter, brings my husband and I joy every single day.  Our lives are much richer because of him.  There is much to admire in the personality of dogs!

The sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps (no longer in business).  The awesome paw print border, and the bone shaped dies were both purchases at the Dies R Us Store.  The dog themed paper is an Echo Park digital paper, purchased at Snap Click Supply.

Admiration -- a theme you can go many different directions with -- so I hope you join us this month at The Path of Positivity.  A Day for Daisies has the best digis you can win!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- May Linky Party
Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- ATG
Jo's Scrap Shack -- ATG

Fairy Joy -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's a new month, and that means it's a new opportunity to get a Christmas card or 2 made for the 2019 Christmas season.  There's a new challenge that starts today at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

This month, the optional theme is 'Fairies'.  Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.  To be eligible for the awesome prize, you must use a fairy somewhere on your card -- either in the image, in the papers, or as an embellishment.

I used the sweet Holly Berry Fairy:

I colored Holly Berry Fairy with Copic markers.

This month, of course, the papers have a fairy theme, but there are also 2 glitter papers, which I used on this card.

I cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file from the Silhouette Design Store.   The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Technique Tuesday.

Happy Spring -- for Aloha Friday Challenges

It's Friday, and it's time for some mid-challenge inspiration on the Aloha Friday Challenge Blog.  This time, the theme is "In the Garden".

You won't quite make it in a garden at my house as there is still a few inches of snow, but it is melting, and the spring birds are returning, so I am hopeful!

One of our sponsors this challenge is A Day For Daisies.  I had the fun of creating with Walking Bonnet:

I colored Walking Bonnet with Copic markers.  I used a sketch from Cheerful Sketches to design the card.  Here's the sketch:
Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The daisy and the paisley papers are from the On the Farm collection. The other piece is from Summer Butterflies

The "In the Garden" Challenge at Aloha Friday Challenges runs for one more week, or through April 4.  Winners will be announced the following Sunday.  I hope you can join in on the fun!

Pansy Sympathy -- for The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

It's the first Monday in October, so it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. We've been featuring an optional color each month this year.  This month's optional color is purple.  Or, you can enter any positive themed project you'd like!

We have 2 sponsors this month.  For the first part of the challenge, I am using an image for our wonderful sponsor, A Day for Daisies.  This is Pansy Flower Frame

I colored Pansy Flower Frame with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop, as is the lighter colored frame with the purple flowers in it.   The frame dies are from Lawn Fawn.

I like to keep sympathy cards flat as I often have to mail them.  I think the frames create interest, while still remaining flat.

The optional purple challenge goes all month, so I hope you find time to join in the fun.  I'd love to see your creations at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Grow Old with Me -- and Path of Positivity

It's Monday!  It's also time for some mid-month inspiration at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. This month's alternate color theme "neutrals".  We have 2 sponsors this month:  Mari Digis, and A Day for Daisies.  For today's inspiration, I had the great pleasure of working with a digi from A Day for Daisies called, Mr. Right.

With our neutral theme in mind, I colored Mr Right using shades of gray Copic markers, then added a few pops of blue green color.  I don't know why, but as soon as I saw this digi, the couple looked old to me.  Not just old fashioned, but old.  So that is how I colored them.

The papers on this card are from Close To My Heart, but are retired.  The dies are from Spellbinders.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The ribbon is from my stash.

The challenges at The Path of Positivity run for a month.  You have until July 2 to link up with your optional "neutral" projects, or  link up any positive themed project you'd like.  I'd love to see your creations!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode -- Use Ribbon

D.L. Art -- June Linky Party
IDCB -- ATG
Outlawz Monday Challenge -- Black & White

Joyous Wishes -- for 12 Months of Christmas

It's May, and I'm already thinking Christmas.  I like getting cards made throughout the year, so it's not such a rush the last couple of months.  Today is also the mid-month inspiration at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

This month's optional theme is "make it feminine".  Our sponsors are A Day for Daisies and Decosse's Dynamite Doodles

I used this super fun image from A Day for Daisies called Shopping with Scotty to create this:

I colored Shopping with Scotty with Copic markers, and used designer papers from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The two papers shown here are from the You Better Not Pout paper pack.

I used a sketch for this card that I found at The Outlawz.  It was the sketch from January 10, 2018.  I thought it would work well for what I had in mind.  The decorative brads are from Close To My Heart, but are retired.  The sentiment is also from Close To My Heart, and is also retired.

I hope you can join us this month at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  There's still plenty of time.  You can link up anything Christmas, but to be eligible for the prizes, please follow the optional theme.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
The Outlawz Festive Fridays -- Christmas
CHNC -- ATG
D.L. Art -- May Linky Party

Happy Holidays -- for the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

It's March 1, and time for a new challenge over on the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  This challenge is such a good way to get some Christmas cards made, working on them a bit at a time, instead of in a panic later in the year!

This month, the optional theme is Christmas Angels.  Use an angel on your card to be eligible to win the prize from our guest sponsor this month, A Day For Daisies.  The prize is a $12 gift certificate!

I used Fairy Dog 3 from A Day for Daisies to create this angel-themed card:

I colored Fairy Dog 3 with Copic markers, using dies from Die-namis to cut it out and back it.

Papers on this card are from another challenge sponsor, Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. Link up 2 Christmas cards this month to be eligible to win one of the papers from this month's Decosse's Dynamite Doodles Angelic Nature set.  The red textured paper, also from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles, is from the Holiday Hoopla Patterned Paper #2 set.

The sentiment on this card is from Lawn Fawn.  The gold shimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.

I hope you are inspired to make a Christmas card (or 2) this month and join us at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up.  We have great prizes, and I'd love to see what you make!

Thank You -- for Path of Positivity

It's Monday, and time to start a new challenge at the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog. The challenges are month long, and this month's theme is 'Appreciation'.  I think this is a great theme for the month of Thanksgiving (at least here in the U.S.)!

I appreciate our wonderful guest sponsors this month, and I'll tell you more about them after I show you the card I made using a digi from A Day for Daisies.  I used Sunflowers in Mason Jar to create this:

I used watercolor paints on this card, and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.  Papers are from Echo Park.  The sequins are from Close To My Heart.

A Day For Daisies is one of our wonderful sponsors this month.  One lucky challenge entry will get a $12 gift certificate to the Day For Daisies Store.

Kitten Scraps is our other guest sponsor.  One lucky challenge winner will get a $20 gift certificate to the Kitten Scraps store.

Thanks, also to our regular sponsors, Creative Bug Digital Stamps & Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.

I hope you can join in on our 'Appreciation' themed challenge this month at Path of Positivity.  It goes until Dec. 4, so there's plenty of time to link up!
