Hey There, Hop Stuff! for QKR Stampede

It's Friday!  Yea!  And, the last Friday of the month.  It's also the start of a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  The challenge goes from Friday - Thursday, and is always Anything Goes.

Today, I have a super cute bunny image to share with you.  He's just too cute!

This is Questioning Bunny (ES-digi24504), colored with Copic markers.  There's a cotton ball on his tail, although it's a bit hard to see it in this picture.

Bunnies make me think of spring, and pastel colors make me think of spring, so I'm in a very spring-time mood with this card.  He is really hop-stuff, isn't he?!?

The sentiment on this card is from a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  The papers on the card are from Close To My Heart.  The oval dies are from Die-namics.  The banner die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I hope to see you linked up at the QKR Stampede Challenge blog this week for our Anything Goes Challenges.  We've got great digis you can win (like this one!), and I'd love to see what you create!

Just Smile -- Guest Designing at The Outlawz

Woohoo!  It's Thursday!  The week is moving right along.  I'm super excited today to be guest designing at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday.  I play along whenever I can with the Outlawz challenges, and the Twisted Thursday challenges are super fun, with their 'twists', or, if you prefer, it can be anything goes.  The last Thursday of the month (that would be today), the challenges are always Anything Goes.  Yes!

The sponsor this month at Twisted Thursday is Dragon's Lair Designs.  I had great fun coloring up one of the fun dragon images to make this card:

This card uses the digital stamp, Flutter Byes, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from a Power Poppy acrylic stamp set.  The papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  The gold butterfly was cut out from a die from Sizzix.

Have you checked out The Outlawz?  They have challenges every single day of the week?  Try keeping up with that!  They have a monthly link up, with monthly prizes to win, plus each daily challenges has prizes awarded at the end of the month.  Lots of sponsors and lots of prizes!  I'm often lucky enough to win something, so it keeps me coming back and joining in the fun.  I hope you can join in to, especially join in the Twisted Thursday Anything Goes challenge this week!

Sassy Cell Phone -- for the Scrapbook Stamp Society

Greetings, fellow crafters! I'm on the Scrapbook Stamp Society Blog today with a timely image.  Are you as addicted to your cell phone as I am to mine?  When I saw this delightful Fancy Pants Cell Phone digi, I just had to color it up!

I colored Fancy Pants Cell Phone with Copic markers and used a die cut for the "hello".  Isn't she adorable?  I had so much fun with this!

The card base was made with Spellbinders dies.  The papers are digital, purchased at Snap Click Supply.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Simple Joys -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

Hello, fellow crafters!  Thank you for visiting my blog today!  I am posting for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  Patricia has a great mix of clear acrylic stamps, digital stamps, digital papers, Zazzle files, some freebies, and some printable stamps and cards.  There's something for everyone in the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store

I have an adorable butterfly with Flower to share with you today:

I colored the Butterfly with Flower with Copic markers.  I think that flower is working like an umbrella, keeping the sun an rain off of the butterfly.  Smart!

The card base, with it's spray of butterflies across it, was found in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The Simple Joys sentiment is a sticker from Paper Wishes.   The circle dies behind the Butterfly with Flower are from Lifestyle Crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas.

Here's a close up of the Butterfly with Flower image:

I hope you check out the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez store, where you'll find all those goodies I talked about earlier.   It's worth a snoop around for sure!  Check out her Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez blog, where many of her images are featured by herself and the design team.  You won't be disappointed! Life is Sweet -- for Scribbles Designs

Hey, hey crafty friends.  Happy Monday to you all!  This month is cruising right along, although spring is taking it's time at arriving here in the Northwoods.  We still have lots of snow to melt, but we made a bit of progress this weekend, with temperatures a little bit warmer than they've been.  Yes!

I'm posting today for Scribbles Designs, where I have the honor of being a part-time team member, posting every 23rd of the month. That's today!  I have 2 projects for my inspiration post on the Scribbles Designs blog today.  Here they are:

This first card uses flower pot 2 and the 'Life is Sweet' sentiment from Words 3...

I sized the flower pot 2 image large enough to fit the sentiment, then colored it with Copic markers.   I found the blue dotted background paper in my stash.  I thought the twine went well with the twine around the pot in the image.

The second project, the tag, uses Farrah Flamingo:

Farrah Flamingo is a hottie, isn't she?  You know where she stand in the flock!  She is also colored with Copic markers.  Papers on this tag are from Imagine That Digistamp.  The sentiment is computer generated, and just seems to fit.  The fibers are long retired from Close To My Heart.  I've had them for years, but keep reaching for them.

I'm enjoying my chance to play with Scribbles Designs images.  I'm finding so many fun ones in the Scribbles Designs store.  You really  owe it to yourself to explore the store

This card uses Jen's Secret and Jen's Secret 4, colored with Copic markers.

I hope you check out the beautiful artwork from the rest of the DigiStamps4Joy team and the wonderful new releases this week!  They are worth a peek!  Then, join us for our optional bright colors challenge (or anything goes).  I'd love to see your entry!

You are My Home -- for QKR Stampede Challenge Blog

It's Friday!  Yea!  This month is going fast!  It's also the start of a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  The challenge goes from Friday - Thursday, and is always Anything Goes.

It's the time of year where the birds are looking for houses and building nests.  The bluebirds in a field near us were the inspiration for today's card:

This card uses QKR Stampede image Birdhouse and Vines (Q-digi24003), colored with Copic markers.

I cut out the card base on my Silhouette Cameo 3, with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store.  The designer paper was from my scrap pile, and I don't remember who's it is?  Does anyone recognize it?  The butterfly sticker and and sentiment sticker were part of a card kit I got from Spellbinders Paper Arts.

I hope you find time to join us this week at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes challenge.  We've got great digis you can win (like this one!), and I'd love to see what you create.

Bee Loved -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

Happy Thursday, crafty friends.  Thursday -- almost as great a day as Friday, isn't it?!?  I guess that's because Friday is just just around the corner!

I'm posting today for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  I've been having so much fun with her digital stamps!  The one I colored up today was such a joy!

This card uses digital stamp, Honey Bee.  The stamp comes with the bee, the hearts, and the Bee Loved sentiment.  (I added the bee flying pattern to the sentiment). You can use the bee separately, the hearts separately, or combine them, like I did here with this Honey Bee card.  I colored the Honey Bee with Copic markers and printed the sentiment on my computer.

The card base is an SVG file from My Scrap Chick.  I thought the honeycomb pattern worked so well with this card, and the colors went together perfectly!  I used a couple of circle cutting dies from Lifestyle crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas to cut out the Honey Bee.

I hope you check out the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez store.  She has darling stamps -- both clear acrylic and digital.  She also has some digital papers, printable cards, Zazzle files, and freebies.  It's worth a snoop around for sure!  Check out her Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez blog, where many of her images are featured by herself and the design team.  You won't be disappointed! Just a Note -- for MHKDesigns

Happy Hump Day, crafty friends!  I'm on the MHKDesigns blog today, featuring one of my favorite springtime flowers.

I'm totally in love with this month's release, Caring Crocus.

My favorite color of Crocus are violet, so that's what I used to create today's card:

The sentiment is part of the Caring Crocus digital stamp set. Papers used on this card are from the Rosy Posy Digital Paper Pack.

MHKDesigns products used on this card:

Have you joined the MHKDesigns challenge yet this month?  It goes until April 30, so there's still time!  I'd love to see what you create, and they are always Anything Goes if you use an MHKDesigns image.

I Thank God for You -- and the Path of Positivity Challenge blog

It's time for some mid-month inspiration over on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog, where the optional theme this month is 'Pastel colors'.  This month, we are sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle

I used the awesome Nasturtium #1 digi stamp to create this for the mid-challenge inspiration:

I'm not all that great with flowers, so I honestly don't know what Nasturtiums usually look like, so that gave me the liberty of coloring Nasturtium #1 any color I wanted.  Since our optional theme is 'pastel', I chose some pastel violets for my nasturtiums, and colored them with Copic markers.   The sentiment is part of the Nasturtium #1 digital stamp set.  I love pastel colors, especially in the spring, and I tend to gravitate towards shades of pink and lavender.

I hardly ever have a chance to use this long, skinny oval die by Spellbinders, but I used it on both the challenges this month for Path of Positivity.  Awesome!  The sentiment die and backing die are from Spellbinders Paper Arts.  The pretty background die is from Lawn Fawn.   The butterfly die is from Tattered Lace.

I hope you have a chance to link up something at The Path of Positivity yet this month.  Our challenge runs until May 6, so there's still plenty of time!

Fly High -- All Dressed Up introduction!

Greetings, fellow craft lovers.  Today is a big day for me.  I've known for quite some time now that I made the All Dressed Up Facebook design team, but today, we are officially introduced!  Yea!  I'm very excited about this as I've been an All Dressed Up fan since about 2014!  I've tried out for the team several times before, but this time, luck was with me.

I pondered my intro card for awhile, then chose an image that had some of my favorite elements, flowers, fairies, faces, and hair.  It also lent itself well to a shaped card -- one of my favorites to make, so here's my first "official" card as a Dressy Girl:

This card uses Little Flower Fairy, colored with Copic markers.   The Little Flower Fairy is delightful, isn't she?  She makes me think of spring, which is taking it's sweet time about arriving here in Northern Wisconsin.

The 'Fly High' sentiment is from a Rubbernecker Stamps.  The card was created using a die from Yvonne dies.  The background paper is from Close To My Heart.  The butterfly die is from Sizzix, and the crinkle ribbon is from a company no longer in business, but I was on her design team and still have a ton of her ribbon -- 3 Girl JAM.

You'll be seeing more All Dressed Up projects from me -- at least 2 each month.  Look for new releases, and Facebook Challenge inspiration.  I'd love to see your projects in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group!  Check out the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog, also, for the latest in challenges, inspiration, and new releases.

You & Me -- for DigiStamps4Joy's Challenge

You and Me and a Cup of Tea!  That's the sentiment on the card I'm posting today, and it's certainly been tea drinking weather where I live.  It's been cold and either rainy, or rain mixed with snow, or just plain snow. Blah!  But great tea drinking weather, like I already stated.

It's also good crafting weather, and I hope you can join us this month at the DigiStamps4Joy Challenge Blog.   It's time for some mid-month inspiration today.  I'm the hostess of this month's challenge, and I chose the optional theme of 'bright colors', hoping to hurry this spring along a bit.  It's not working, LOL!

Here's my 'bright colors' card, featuring tea cups (rg011), from the DigiStamps4Joy shop:

I colored Tea Cups with lots of brightly colored Copic markers, then used some bright colored papers to create this card.  I used a Spellbinders die set to create the shape of this card.  The sentiment was computer generated.  The bright yellow ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I sure wish I had some more of it!

I hope you find time to visit the DigiStamps4Joy blog to see the other 'bright colors' inspiration from the talented design team.  It's worth a trip!  While you're there, link up a project.  It can be anything goes, or a bright colored entry -- your choice.  I'd love to see what you make, and I get to choose the winner this month ;)

You Give Me Wings -- Ike's Art Progressive Challenge

Happy Saturday!  We're in the midst of a winter storm warning, and it is really snowing!  I'm so ready for spring!

I was thinking spring when I colored this image from Ike's Art and created this card the last several days.  I was thinking butterflies and warmth!

This is Cute Fairy, and she's this month's progressive freebie at Ike's Art Facebook Challenge. If you haven't joined in yet, you can buy Cute Fairy for just $1, make something, then next month's image will be free.

I colored Cute Fairy with Copic markers.   The sentiment is from a stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  I used a sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge on this card.

The metallic butterflies and ladybug are from Art -C.

You're Clawsome! -- Dragon's Lair Designs

Woohoo!  It's Friday!  But it certainly isn't spring.  We are having yet another winter storm.  This must be Mother Nature's Friday the 13th joke on us, but it's supposed to last all weekend, with a possibility of 14-18 inches of snow.  NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!  We just start to see some bare ground and we get walloped again.  We live across from a small lake, and the geese and ducks have been sitting on it for weeks now, waiting for the ice to melt so the nesting process can begin.  Hurry up, Spring!!!!!

Since the weather is so depressing, I stayed inside and crafted this afternoon.  At least that was fun!  I worked on a few cards, including this one, with several challenges in mind.  It uses a Dragon's Lair Designs image from this month's progressive freebie.  It also uses papers and embellishments from Dragon's Lair Designs Girls World Mini Kit, and free add-on and it uses this week's card sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  So, I'm entering those challenges with it for sure!!  (plus a few others, of course!)

This card uses the digital stamp, Penny Dragons Discovery:

I often work with digital papers, but the digital elements were new for me, so this was a challenge.  I also have never colored a yellow and orange dragon, but hey, I had to match the papers, right?  I think she turned out pretty cute, actually.

I enjoyed this week's sketch from the Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  We could choose any sketch we wanted to work with, but this one worked well with my image, so I went with it.  I'm also entering it in this week's Festive Friday Challenge at The Outlawz, with the theme of Best Friends, as these 2 look very cozy to me!

The sentiment is from an acrylic stamp set from Pretty Cute Stamps called Fur Baby (a set of dog stamps), but a thought it worked well for this dragon.

I colored the Penny Dragons Discovery image with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.

In order to enter this in the Girls World at Dragon's Lair Designs, I had to use both the Girls World Digital Mini Kit, and the free add-on.  I used them both on this card.

Singing of Spring -- for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and I am very loudly singing of Spring.  Our average temperature this April is 20 degrees below normal.  I, and everyone else I come in contact with, is very much ready for spring!

I'm also ready for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  Today, being Friday, starts a new challenge, and they are always Anything Goes.  Please join us this week!

This week, I used the adorable Singing Bird (Q-digi15005) to create this:

I colored Singing Bird with Copic markers, computer generated the sentiment, and used a Tattered Lace die to create the card base.  The design papers on this card are digital, and were purchased at Snap Click Supply.  The circle dies on this card are from Craftin' Desert Divas and Lifestyle Crafts.   The blue sequins are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you can join us this week at the QKR Stampede Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes Challenge.  We have great prizes for you to win (like this great Singing Bird digi), and I'd love to see what you make!

Inspired by Winnie the Pooh -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

Are you a Winnie the Pooh fan?  I think he is one of the wisest bears I've ever met, and we can all learn a lot from his wisdom.  He inspired me on the card I created today for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  As soon as I saw this Bear & Beehive digital stamp, I knew a Winnie the Pooh quote would work perfectly with it.  And, I had my quote in mind!

I colored the Bear & Beehive digital stamp with Copic markers.  The quote is from Winnie the Pooh.  It is one of many great quotes from the the books.  Wise old bear!

The beehive-looking embossed background is an embossing folder from Close To My Heart.  The dots paper was laying on my desk.  I know it's digital, but don't remember now where I printed it from.  Short memory!!   I cut Bear & Beehive out with a Spellbinders die. I used one of my We R Memory Keepers corner choppers on this card.

Happy Birthday - Outlawz Monthly Progressive Challenge

Happy Monday, crafty friends!  I've been participating in the Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge all year, and I've got the April image colored up and made into a card.  This month's freebie is by Sheepski Designs.  It's the wonderful Virgo, or Virgo Cat.  Thank you, Andrea!

My sister-in-law has 2 cats, so I thought I'd make this card into a birthday card for her.  Always good to be ready when her birthday rolls around!

I colored up Virgo with Copic markers.  The front step card was created using a die by Sizzix.  The cat papers are from Imagine That Digistamp and are called Cat Pack. There's some Timeless Twine to finish off this card.

Happy Birthday -- and New Release time at DigiStamps4Joy

It's New Release Sunday at DigiStamps4Joy.  There are some great new releases today (like always!)  I saw these guinea fowl, and decided they'd be perfect for a more masculine birthday card, and decided to color them up:

This digi stamp is called, "Guinea Fowl Trio". I colored them with Copic markers.

I used dies from Craftin' Desert Divas to cut out the Guinea Fowl Trio and the Happy Birthday (computer generated).  The papers are old, old, old!  I believe they are from My Mind's Eye.  The small baker's twine bow is made with twine from Timeless Twine.

I hope you enjoyed this New Release from DigiStamps4Joy, and you have time to check out the other wonderful new releases found here on the blog.  You'll find all the new releases (and an extensive collection of outstanding digis) for sale in the DigiStamps4Joy store.

Friend to Friend, for QKR Stampede

Woohoo, hoo!  It's Friday again!  I hope you have had a good week.  It's been a cold, snowy one here where I live, with no sign of spring.  But it's coming, right?  To make me feel a bit more in a spring-like mood, I've been coloring flowers every chance I get! I colored up these beauties from QKR Stampede for this week's QKR Stampede Anything Goes challenge:

I used QKR Stampede digital stamp Q-digi16220 on this card, colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from their sister company, Eureka Stamps.  It's also a digi, and is ES-digi20101

I created the card using Spellbinders dies, and papers from Close To My Heart.  The crinkle ribbon is from a company that closed their doors, but I still have tons of their ribbon -- 3 Girl JAM.  I also used my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper (scalloped) on this card.

I hope you find time this week to join us at QKR Stampede for our Anything Goes Challenge.  I'd love to see your creations, and we've got great digis you can win (like this one!).

Hello, fellow stamp lovers.  I'm on the Scrapbook Stamp Society blog today. I have an awesome digi to share with you today!
I have an adorable image called Feeling Pretty.  She's so much fun to color!

I colored Feeling Pretty with Copic markers.  Don't you love that big hat and those flowers?  Awesome!  She fills me with happy thoughts!

The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3 with a file from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  The designer paper is from Close To My Heart.  The flowers are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The oval stitched die is from Die-namics.  The banner die is from Close To My Heart.  I computer generated the sentiment.

Come Sit in my Garden -- for Simply Crafty SVG's

Hello, my crafty friends.  I'm taking a break from cards today to invite you to come sit in my garden.  Well, figuratively, anyway.   There's still snow in my yard, so you might want to wait awhile!  But eventually, I have the perfect garden bench for you, and it's from Simply Crafty SVG's:

This Garden Bench will hold a small gift or gift card inside the bench.  It's perfect for Mother's Day or a spring or summer birthday.

I used some textured Kraft paper to make this Garden Bench so it would look like real wood.  My Silhouette wasn't real happy cutting through it, so I double cut everything.

The floral designer paper visible on the sides and in the front is from Close To My Heart.  Two of the butterflies are dies.  The big, bold one has been in my stash forever, and I think was originally a part of a card kit, as was the sentiment sticker.

This bench comes with a tutorial, which makes construction a breeze.  If you haven't tried any of the SVG files from Simply Crafty SVG's, you owe it to yourself to check out the store!  There are many freebies, and some wonderful products, including this awesome garden bench

Live Out Loud! -- Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge

It's snowing, it's snowing!  We don't usually get much snow in April, but we are getting dumped on today!  The schools are getting let out early, the roads are terrible (many cars are in the ditch), and the snow just keeps piling up!  Spring has not yet sprung!

This cute image, "Peggy's in Love", is this time's progressive challenge image at Sasayaki Glitter.  She's currently being given away for free so everyone can play along, but I'm not sure how long that will happen for, so if you like her (who wouldn't?  She's adorable!!!), hurry over to the Sasayaki Glitter Stamps Facebook Group, grab her, and color her up!  You don't even have to make her into a card to play along.  Just color her!

I used this week's sketch at The Outlawz Wednesday's Sketch Challenge, so I have to make sure and get this entered today Tuesday, or I'll be too late.  I thought it was such a fun sketch, I just had to play along!

I colored Peggy's in Love with Copic markers, then used a couple circle dies to cut her out (Lifestyle Crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas).  The papers for this card are digital.  I found them at Snap Click Supply.  They have $1 Wednesday.  I got these papers last week, I think.  They are 'Live, Laugh, Play' by Down This Road Designs.   The sentiment is from a company that no longer exists, Whimsical Designs, but I still like using the stamp set.

Naz is looking for guest designers for Sasayaki Glitter in May.  I was on the team awhile ago until life got too busy and my health went south.  I'm through with Cancer treatments and getting my crafting mojo back again.  I miss playing with Sasayaki Glitter images, so I'm going to try for a GD spot.  I'd love the opportunity to color up an image of 2 by Sasayaki Glitter again!

Now, if only it would stop snowing so I could find some of those pretty flowers Peggy has in her hand!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge --March 28
Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge -- Facebook group
Sasayaki Glitter Guest Designer Call  -- 2nd entry

Be a Flamingo -- for the Path of Positivity

It's the first Monday of the month.  That means it's time for a new challenge at The Path of Positivity Challenge Blog.  This month's optional theme is "Pastels".  Or, you can link up any positive themed project you'd like.

Our sponsor this month is Sparkle N Sprinkle.  If you haven't shopped their store, they have the most AWESOME products, and you really must take a look!  Not just digis, but inks, and mists, and stencils and glimmer paste, and the list goes ON!

For today's card, I had the delight of working with Jefferson Birds!

There are 2 amazing birds, and several fun sentiments that came with this file.  I chose this awesome flamingo.  It also comes in black & white and pre-colored.  I used the black & white, because I love to color flamingos!  They're just so fun!!

I colored Jefferson Birds (flamingo) with Copic markers.  The tall oval dies are from Spellbinders.  I hardly ever find occasion to use them, but they worked well for this image.  The ribbon slider die is also from Spellbinders.  I used it to frame the sentiment, which comes with the Jefferson Birds digi set

I found the flamingo paper in the Silhouette Design store and printed it on my laser printer.  The pink ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

That's a wrap for this card.  Now, I hope you are inspired to enter our pastel colors challenge this month at the Path of Positivity Challenge blog.  Or, any positive theme will suffice.  The challenge runs until May 6, so you have lots of time, and I sure would love to see what you create!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

D.L. Art -- April Linky Party
IDCB -- ATG
Outlawz Monday Greetings -- Just Because
