Happy Easter -- for Great Impressions Stamps

It's Saturday -- my day to post at Great Impressions Stamps!   Easter is early this year, so I'm already getting a start on a few Easter cards.  Here's one I made with a super adorable Great Impressions rubber stamp.

I used Bunny Peeking (F602) in the center of this step card.  I colored Bunny Peeking with Copic markers.  The sentiment is  Cursive Happy Easter (C430).

The center step card is a cutting die from Sizzix.  Designer papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  There's some Timeless Twine and some Skittles to finish it off.

I'll be back next week with more inspiration with Great Impressions Stamps.  I can't wait!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Keep on Moving -- for Digi Choosday

Today is an exciting day for me, my first official day as a design team member on the Digi Choosday team.  I have been guest designing the last couple weeks.  I enjoyed the experience so much that the team asked me to stay!  I'm so excited!

Our theme this week is "All About the Men."  Male cards -- generally tough, but this one was so much fun!

My husband loves to ride bicycle.  It's nothing for him to ride 50-75 miles on the weekend.  This card is in his honor.  This digi image is found in the Polka Doodle's store.  He is Cycling Boy. You can also get him as part of the Work & Play 4 Digital Download collection

I colored Cycling Boy with Copic markers, then used a Spellbinders die to cut him out.  The papers are part of the Work & Play 4 Download Collection.

The burlap trim is from Close To My Heart.  I used a few Skittles to finish off the card.

Join us for the next 2 weeks for our "All About the Men" challenge.  Link up because I'd love to see what you make! I'll be back next week with more adorable Polka Doodles images.  I. am. so. excited!!!

Enjoy the Summer -- for Crafty Sentiments Challenge

It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog. Our theme this week is to use a sketch.  First the sketch:

Then, my take on it:

I used Lemonade Sunday rubber stamp on this card.  I cropped the stamped image just a bit to fit the sketch.  I colored Lemonade Sunday with Copic markers, then used 2 Spellbinders dies to cut her out and layer her.

Designer papers for this card are from Jillybean Soup, Blossom Soup 6x6 pad.  The sentiment is from Joy's Life Stamps, Pun in the Sun set.  I used a Lawn Fawn die to cut it out.  The card base is card stock from Close To My Heart. I finished off the card with 3 Skittles.

Join us at Crafty Sentiment Challenge blog for our Sketch challenge.  It's a fun sketch to work with!  You have two weeks to link up.

It's the first of August, a new month, so a new challenge at DigiStamps4Joy.  Our theme is Anything Goes, but there's a twist you can participate in if you'd like.  This month's twist -- 'Things With Wings'.  It was the perfect chance to color up this fun digi!

This image is called "Flamingo Pair."  I colored the flamingos using Copic markers, then used the banner die set from Craftin' Desert Divas to construct the card.

The flamingo designer paper is a digi paper from Pixel Scrapper.  The card base is from Close To My Heart. The sentiment is one of my favorites for this time of year.  It's from Great Impressions Stamps. I finished off the card with some Skittles

A Birthday Bear -- for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede.  Our theme this week is "Children's Birthday Cards." This was actually not an easy theme for me, having no children or grandchildren, but I managed, I think.
I used QKR Stampede digi, Birthday Bear (digi9603) on this card, and colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut the Birthday Bear. There's a Spellbinders label die behind it.  All the papers are from Close To My Heart.  The designer paper is called Confetti Wishes, and it works wonderfully for birthdays and celebrations.  I finished the card off with some Skittles.
I hope you join us this week for our Children's Birthday Cards challenge at QKR Stampede.  I'd love to see what you make!

Have a Fall-tastic Day! for Amy Doodle Stamp Co.

Happy Friday, crafty friends!  Have you heard of Amy Doodle Stamp Company?  Well, you soon will!  I discovered it several weeks ago, while spending time on the Kit and Clowder Facebook Page, and I was instantly enthralled.  Amy Purdie draws the most delightful digital images!  Let me show you!

This image was a freebie I got from the Kit N Clowder Facebook Group (did I mention Amy is generous, too?)
I colored this Autumn Fairy with Copic markers, using a Wink of Stella glitter pen on her wings and on the berries in her wreath.  I sponged several colors of Tim Holtz Distress Ink around the edges of the image while it was still in the Spellbinder label die.
Papers for this card are from Close To My Heart.  Ribbon and jute are from 3 Girl JAM.  Skittles are by my friend Carri at Double Click Connections. The stickpin was made by another friend, Jess, from Pinque Peacock
Make sure you check out the Amy Doodle Stamp Company. There are more wonderful stamps being added all the time. And, there's a fun Amy Doodle Stamp Co. Facebook Page, too! Now, get coloring!

Birthday Roses for DigiStamps4Joy

It's Wednesday, and time for some mid-challenge inspiration at DigiStamps4Joy.  The current challenge is "Circles", and it goes through Sept 2.
I love to color flowers, and choose them every chance I get.  For this card, I chose roses:

See why I like to color flowers?  Aren't those pretty?  This digi stamp, found in the DigiStamps4Joy store, is called Rose Trio.
I colored the image with Copic markers, then used 2 different sized Lifestyle Crafts circle dies to cut out the image and the layer behind it.  The designer papers are by My Mind's Eye. I used some 3 Girl JAM Aqua Splash crinkle ribbon from the Caribbean Bundle.  Cardstock and sentiment are from Close To My Heart. Some Aqua Skittles finish off the card.

There's a month-long party happening at DigiStamps4Joy, starting Sept 3.  Join us for our blog hop, and random prizes throughout the month.  It's the 100th blog challenge!

Kind of Wonderful

It's Sunday, and that means there are new releases at DigiStamps4Joy. There are some spectacular new releases today, so make sure and check out the store!
I love frames!  Add a quick dash of color, stamp a sentiment, add some paper and embellishments, and you have a card.  I chose to work with just such a frame today:

The new digi I used, released today, is called "Flower Circle."  With very little effort, I was able to size it so I could cut it with a Lifestyle Crafts die, and then cut another slightly larger circle with a die one size larger. And, that is the one of the joys of digis -- being able to alter the size to fit my dies, instead of needing to buy more dies to fit my stamps!

I also sized it large enough to use this quote from Close To My Heart, because I really like it. I colored the image with ShinHan Touch Twin markers.
I won the designer paper at a LSS crop night over a year ago and no longer remember who's it is.  Maybe Fancy Pants?  The corregated sheet is from Fancy Pants.
I got these Skittles a while ago from a friend, but had never used them.  I thought it was time!  Skittles finish off the card.
Don't forget to check out the DigiStamps4Joy blog for other great inspiration using today's new releases!

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
D.L. Art Thankful Thursday -- August Linky Party
Craft for the Craic -- a craft item you have never used before (Skittles)
Path of Positivity -- Possibilities (this quote, for me, is all about possibilities)
