Sleepy Bear -- an All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

It's December 22 (yikes!), and this is one of the days new releases are featured in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group and on the All Dressed Up Stamps blog.  You'll find 3 new releases this month.  They, and all of Wendy's awesome creations, are in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop.

I had the pleasure of coloring up and designing with the New Release image, Sleepy Bear. This is such an awesome image for Christmas or Winter cards.  Since Christmas is nearly upon us, I used a winter theme....

I colored Sleepy Bear with Copic markers, added some snowy mountains, then fussy cut it all out.  When I think of polar bears, I think of the Arctic, of course, and that makes me think of Northern Lights.  So, I created a sky full of Northern Lights for my Sleepy Bears to be gliding through.  I used various Distress inks to create the background and a white gel pen.  The sentiment is by Crafter's Companion.

I hope you visit both the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group  and the ADU blog for more  inspiration and to see all of this month's beautiful new releases. The team is taking a break in January, but we'll be back in February with new challenges and new releases.  Stay tuned!

Holly Fairy -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and it's my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration Blog.  Every Tuesday, I'm lucky enough tote able to color up one of these wonderful images!

Today, I worked with the delightful Holly Fairy.  She's part of a set of 4 Christmas Digital images

I colored Holly Fairy with Copic markers.  The gorgeous dies on this card are by Anna Griffin.  It's kind of hard to see the background paper, but it's by We Are 3 Digital Shop, and is from the Fairy Holiday Collection. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out with a die from Tonic Studios.

Christmas is almost upon us!  I hope you are ready, and I hope you enjoy your holidays!

Let's Have S'more Christmas --for The Paper Shelter

It's Wednesday, and the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog is starting a new challenge today.  Both teams are joining in on this one, as it's the last one of the year.  It's also an Anything Goes Challenge, as we know how busy everyone is. So, link up whatever you're creating.  If it uses a Paper Shelter image and you win the challenge, you win a $30 gift certificate to the Paper Shelter Store.  Wow! This challenge will run for 4 weeks.

I made one more Christmas card for today's challenge.  It's already been mailed out.  Here in NW Wisconsin where I live, bonfires are very popular, and in turn, so are roasting s'mores over those fires, so this Christmas card was perfect for some friends we've done some camping/kayaking with through the years...

This card uses A Marshmallow for the Christmas Elf. In comes in the black & white version, that I used here, a pre-colored version, and some papers also.

I colored A Marshmallow for the Christmas Elf with Copic markers and Spectrum Noir markers.

All the papers on this card are from Crafter's Companion.  The sentiment is a die cut from Spellbinders Paper Arts.   The snowflakes are dies by Lawn Fawn and Cheery Lynn.

Please join us at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes Challenge. You have until January 11.

Spinning Yappy Birthday -- For Dies R Us Challenges

It's December 15th, and it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. Challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store.  There are many different brands of die sold, so this is very easy to do!

My husband celebrated his birthday recently.  I always make a card for him from the dog.  This is that card...

I had the dog wrapped tightly so that when he pulled it out of the envelope, it 'spun'.  I swear he enjoys the cards from the dog more than the card from me.  Ah well, he probably enjoys the dog more than me, too! :)

I created this card with a die from Crafter's Companion called Twirling Dog.  It comes with stamps and dies of the dog, the bone, the ball, and it also cuts out the dog house shape.

I colored all the elements with Copic markers. The sentiment was computer generated, then cut out with a die from Tonic Studios

I inked the edges of the card with Wilted Violet Distress Ink. A tiny bit of Timeless Twine made the Twirling Dog complete.

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks for our Anything Goes Challenge at Dies R Us. A gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store will be awarded, and 3 Designer Choice awards, too.

Sweet December -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is the day I am fortunate enough to be able to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  We're about 1/2 way through this month's challenge.  The theme is Christmas or Winter.

For today's inspiration card, I used the beautiful Sweet December, colored with Copic markers.

That Christmas die is from Impression Obsession. I thought it would say 'Christmas' without having to use a sentiment.  The background paper and glitter paper are by Crafter's Companion.  The sweet deer die has been in my stash for so many years, I no longer know where he came from.

I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration.  I have 2 posts tomorrow, so please come back for another visit!

A Christmas Tree -- For Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is my day to post for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  We've recently started a new challenge with the theme of "Tis the Season, or Christmas, or Winter".  I hope you can join us!

For today's inspiration card, I'm using the delightful digital image, A Christmas Tree, colored with Copic markers.

After coloring the image, I fussy cut her, then use a set of dies from Queen & Company to construct the card.  The sentiment is a die from Crafter's Companion.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Fairy Holiday papers

Some sequins and twine from my stash finished off the card.

I hope you visit the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog often to see the talent there.  Then, also check out the CCK Facebook group for another challenge and even more inspiration.

It's the first Sunday in the month, and it's time for a new challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends! Challenges run for 2 weeks, and are always Anything Goes!  Anything!  Whatever you're creating, we'd like to see it.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Fred She Said Designs. Thanks, Fred!   I love the Nuthatch that I had the chance to design with for today's challenge.

The pre-colored image on this was so excellent that I knew I wouldn't exceed it. So, this is pre-colored and pre-shaded.  I used a set of dies for a mini slimline card by Spellbinders Papers Arts. The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion.

The winter branches background paper is by We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is from the Holly Berries Collection

The royal blue crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art.  You'll find it in Diana's shop here

I hope you can join us at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. Remember, it's always Anything Goes.  I'd love to see you win at $10 gift certificate from the Fred She Said Store

Winter Birthday Wishes -- for The Outlawz Paper ala Mode

It's Saturday, and today starts a new challenge at The Outlawz Paper ala Mode Challenge.  All year, our challenges have been sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop. One lucky winner will get a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Shop! The theme for the current challenge is Winter.  It will run for a month.

The design team was given some beautiful We Are 3 Digital Shop products to create with for this challenge!

I used papers from Winter Serenity (love the watercolor look of these!), one of the printables from Wonderland (there are 4 printables in this set), and a sentiment from the Warm Wishes Sentiment Set.  How fun to have a winter birthday sentiment!!  This is going to my brother.  He has a January birthday.

I used a set of dies from LDRS Creative to construct this card.

I hope you can join us for our Winter challenge at The Outlawz Paper ala Mode challenge! I'd love to see what you create!

From Our Gnomes to Yours -- and SheepSki Designs Challenges

It's the first of the month, and a new challenge starts today at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. Our theme this month is "Embellish It". The challenge runs for the month of December.

I have been wanting to color up the awesome Garden Party image, so took advantage of today's challenge to do just that!

I wanted to make the Garden Party image look like Christmas, so I used my Copic markers and colored it with Christmas colors.

That awesome red checked paper helped with the festive feel, too.   It's from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It's one of the papers in the Winter Plaid Collection

I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out and backed it with a die from Queen & Company.  The snowflake dies are by Frantic Stamper and Lawn Fawn.

I hope you can join us for our "Embellish It" Challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. I'd love to see what you create, and you could win some of Andrea's awesome images -- like this one!

A Sprinkling of Christmas Magic -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

It's December 1, and it's time for a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  If you're still working on Christmas cards, time is running out!  And, if you're still working on Christmas projects, this month's theme is for you ''Let's Celebrate". You can make that into any celebration that you would like!

I took advantage of the "Let's Celebrate" theme to squeak in another Christmas card.  I've never had a chance to color up the delightful Christmas Tree Fairy.  So, this was the perfect excuse...

I colored Christmas Tree Fairy with Copic markers, then inked the piece with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in 4 different colors.  I have some new mini stitched slimline dies that I used to cut out the Christmas Tree Fairy image and to create the card.

Those pretty vintage papers are digital.  They are by We Are 3 digital Shop. They are 2 of the papers in the Victorian Christmas Collection

I used a piece of crinkle ribbon to finish the card.  You can find it at D.L. Art Store

11th Birthday Blog Hop -- for The Paper Shelter

 Good Morning lovely crafters!

Welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop, in celebration of The Paper Shelter's 11th Birthday on the 8th of December!  This will be a two week challenge, with both teams taking part.

The theme for this special challenge is:

CELEBRATIONS

My birthday growing up used to be spent camping with my family.  That often included s'mores around the campfire, so I couldn't resist coloring up A Christmas Campfire for today's celebration.

I colored A Christmas Campfire with Copic markers and used papers that I found at Pixel Scrapper to construct the card. They were from the Kumbaya papers, and were digital. The die cut elements are all from Crafter's Companion.

If you've arrived here from Cristena, then you're heading in the right direction!  If not, then you'll want to pop back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, because you don't want to miss out on this one.  Both Design Teams are participating, showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter, and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice, as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.

From here, you will need to hop on over to Mesi.  Don't forget to leave your comment for an opportunity to win your choice of one of the fabulous digis available in store!

Good Luck!  Hope you've enjoyed the Hop so far!

Poinsettia Gift Tag -- for Dies R Us Challenges

It's December 1! My Christmas cards are made, and now I'm making some gifts, ornaments, and gift tags.  December 1 -- time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges. Our challenges are Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store.  There's a lot of goodness sold in that store!  If you haven't taken time to explore, check out the Dies R Us treasures.  You'll be glad you did!

For my project for today's Dies R Us Challenge, I made a tag.  I'll be adding it to a Christmas gift before I know it!

The tag itself uses a die from Marianne Designs. I purchased it during a European dies event at Dies R Us. I cut it out 3 times with some papers from Crafter's Companion called Winter Poinsettia.

The sentiment is a die cut from Crafter's Companion. It is one of 5 phrases in a Christmas set.

The poinsettias are a die from Poppy Stamps

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks for our Anything Goes challenge!  There will be a gift certificate awarded to the Dies R Us Store and 3 designer choice awards are given out each challenge.

Home for the Holidays -- an All Dressed Up Stamps New Release

Hello, fellow creative friends!  Today is one of the days each month where All Dressed Up Stamps designers showcase the New Releases.  There are 3, and they are all wonderful!

This month, I had the fun of showcasing Christmas Caravan. It makes me want to be a vagabond!

Christmas Caravan is available in the All Dressed Up Etsy Shop.  You'll find all the new releases there, along with all of the All Dressed Up Stamps wonderful digital art.

I colored Christmas Caravan with Copic markers and also added a bit of Nuvo Glitter drop on the trees and the Christmas lights.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Merry Little Christmas papers.  I used 4 of them from the set of 8 here.

There will be inspiration from other designers featured today on the All Dressed Up Stamps Blog and in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group. I hope you check it out!

Elegant Christmas --for The Paper ala Mode Challenge

It's Saturday, and it's time for another challenge for The Outlawz Paper ala Mode Challenges. All this year, our challenges have been sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  One lucky participant will win a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Shop! For the next 2 weeks, our theme is Christmas.  Now's the time to finish up those cards and other projects!

The design team was given some beautiful products to work with for today's inspiration.  They are very elegant. I made 2 very similar cards with the papers and printables...

I started by printing some papers from 2 collections -- Dreamy Creamy papers and Elegant Textures papers.  The pretty floral printable is Christmas Banners. There are 4 in the set, and the sentiment is part of the printable.

I used dies and a sketch from Queen & Company.  Once I got all the layers die cut, it was simply a matter of assembling it.

Here's the 2nd card:

The printable is in a little different location, but other than that, they are the same.

I hope you can join us this challenge at The Outlawz Paper ala Mode for our Christmas Challenge. I'd love to see what you create!

Rooftop Party -- for The Paper Shelter

It's Wednesday, and every Wednesday a new challenge start on the Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  Challenges run for a week, and this week the theme is "Say Something" (use a sentiment).  If you are the random winner of the challenge and you use a Paper Shelter image, you'll get a $30 gift certificate to the Paper Shelter Store.  Otherwise, it's 3 images of your choice. Either way, it's an awesome prize!

For today's card, I used the adorable Rooftop Party...

I just love his big red nose!  I colored Rooftop Party with Copic markers.  I used some gel pens to add sparkle to the lights and Santa hats, although it doesn't show up in this picture. Then, I went hunting for a sketch.   I found this one at Sketch Saturday.  It's from earlier in the year.

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The holly paper is one of the papers in the Christmas Fun Collection. The red dots paper is from the Peppermint Collection

I hope you can join us this week at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  I'd love to see your pretty creations, and your take on this theme!

Paw-sitively Grateful -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge Blog. There's also a challenge going on with the theme of Remembrance/Thanksgiving/Thinking of You/ or Thank You.  I hope you join us!  You'll find lots of great images in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop!

For today's card, I used an image that was given to everyone that participated in the October Facebook Challenge. It was in honor of our 7th Anniversary.   I hadn't had a chance to color it up yet, and I so loved it!  Here is the greyscale image, The Cutie...

The Cutie is colored with Copic markers, a couple of Spectrum Noir markers, and a white gel pen.  I used an edger die from Spellbinders, the sentiment is on dies from Tonic Studios, and that paw print is a die from Kat Scrappiness.

The design team was given the additional challenge of making a shabby chic or distressed card, so I distressed the edges of the designer paper. It's from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's one of the Inky Textures papers

I hope you visit the CCK Inspiration Blog often to see what the other talented designers have created. For another challenge, and more inspiration, there's the CCK Facebook group.

Joyous Manger Scene --for Dies R Us Challenges

It's November 15th, and although it's not even Thanksgiving, we card makers have been making Christmas cards for months now.  I'm taking advantage of the anything goes challenge at Dies R Us Challenges to get another Christmas card made.  The challenge is Anything Goes, as long as you use a brand of die sold in the Dies R Us Store

I have a collection of mangers, or creches, that I use to decorate my house at Christmas, so it's no wonder I am drawn to them in my crafting also.  I really like this Manger set by Spellbinders

The sentiment is from a set of Christmas sayings by Sizzix.  I inked the edges of the card with 2 Distress Inks -- Old Paper and Tea Dye.

The vintage looking paper with musical notes on it is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is from the Holiday Wishes Collection.

I hope you are able to join us these next 2 weeks for the Anything Goes with a dies sold in the Dies R Us Store challenge.  There will be a gift certificate awarded and 3 designer choice awards.  I'd love to see your creations!

Autumn Lace Thank You -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

It's Tuesday, and this is my day to post on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog. Last week, I used an image from the set, Hello Autumn.  Today, I'm using the same set, but a different image.

Here's one of the 3 images in Hello Autumn...

I colored Hello Autumn with Copic markers.  The leaf background is a die from Impression Obsession.  It makes a beautiful card front!  The sentiment is from Spellbinders.  The lace is from Webster's Pages, and the wooden die cut leaf is from my stash.

I hope you check the CCK Inspiration blog often to see all the great inspiration, and I'd love to see you linked up on the November challenge!  The theme is Thanksgiving/Remembrance/Thinking of you/or Thank you.

Get Well Sunflowers -- for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

It's the first Sunday of the month, and that means a new challenge is starting today at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.  The challenge will run for 2 weeks, and they are always Anything Goes.

We always have wonderful sponsors, and today is no exception. This challenge, we are sponsored by Twinkle Lane Designs. This is my first time working with their products, and I was impressed when I poked around their Etsy Shop -- digi stamps and papers, clear stamps, & clipart.

It seems like I always have a shortage of Get Well cards.  When I need one, I need it "now", and don't want to take time to make it.  So, I took advantage of this beautiful Sunflower Bouquet and created a Get Well card:

I colored Sunflower Bouquet with Copic markers.  I cut it out with a die from Crafter's Companion.

The papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop. The flowers are one of the papers in the Sunflower paper pack.  The green and brown textured looking papers are from the Distressed Burlap papers

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks for our Anything Goes Challenge, sponsored by Twinkle Lane Designs!

Thanksgiving Treat Box -- For Paper ala Mode Challenges

It's Saturday, and there is a new challenge underway at The Outlawz Paper ala Mode.  The challenges all year have been sponsored by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  One lucky participant will win a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Shop! Great prize! This time, the theme is Give Thanks. Thanksgiving truly is the overlooked holiday, so I'm glad we are focusing on it.  I have much to be thankful for!

The design team was given some gorgeous products to use for today's inspiration!  Very fall-like in feel, and perfect for Thanksgiving!

I started with 2 of the Howdy Autumn papers and printed them back to back.  I used a Bigz die from Sizzix to cut out the box die.  Once I got that constructed, I started on the tag.  Again, I used 2 matching papers from Howdy Autumn, the basket from the Harvest Printables (there are 4 in the set) and a 'Thanks' sentiment from the Itty Bitty Sentiment Set. The tags are a set by Tonic Studios.  The twine is by May Arts.

I hope you can join us this next 2 weeks for our 'Give Thanks' challenge!  I'd love to see your creations, and I'd also love to see you win a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Digital Shop

Santa's Little Helpers -- for The Paper Shelter

Hello, my crafty friends!  It's time for a new challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog.  Every week, there is a new challenge with a theme.  This week, the theme is "Christmas is on it's Way"-- so, we want to see your Christmas projects!  If you use a Paper Shelter image and you are chosen as the winner this week, you get a $30 gift certificate to the Paper Shelter Store. Any other image, and you win 3 images of your choice -- awesome prizes any way you look at it!

The Paper Shelter has many great Christmas-themed images!  I found this one, and just had to color it up!

This is We Are Santa & Rudolph, colored with Copic markers.  I inked around the edges with a couple colors of Distress Inks.  I used 2 different sizes of Spellbinder dies to cut out We Are Santa & Rudolph and back it.

I computer generated the sentiment and cut it out with a die from Crafter's Companion. The designer papers and ornament die are also from Crafter's Companion.

I hope you can join us this week at The Paper Shelter Challenges for our 'Christmas is on it's Way' challenge!
