This is my first post for the Star Stampz design team. There is a Star Stampz challenge blog, and challenges run every 2 weeks. This week, the theme is "Something New" -- always a good theme this time of year.
I've used the digi stamp, 'My Sweet Rose' on my first Star Stampz card....

Shaking Fall Greetings Your Way -- for The Cutting Cafe
I love shaker cards! I think they are fun to make and even more fun to receive, so when the assignment this week at The Cutting Cafe was to make a fall or Halloween shaker card, I just knew it would be F-U-N!
This is the Pumpkin Shaker card. It can be purchased separately, or as part of the Autumn and Halloween shaker card set. Get the set -- they are ALL fantastic!
I used papers from the Close To My Heart Sangria paper pack. I was looking for lush, Fall colors. The orange sequins are from Bella Creationz. The tie dye crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.
The adorable hedgehog, colored with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils, is a digi stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs.
Check out the Cutting Cafe's blog on October 21 to see what the rest of this Uber talented design team makes this time. Leave a comment on the blog, and you can win 3 sets of your choice. Pick this one!

Wish! -- for The Cutting Cafe
Cupcakes. Who doesn't love cupcakes?!? This week, at The Cutting Cafe, we were given the opportunity to work with any Cupcake-type file in The Cutting Cafe store. There are lots and lots to choose from!
I adore making shaker cards, and will jump at any opportunity to do so. So, it's no surprise that I have a Cupcake Shaker card to share with you today:
This cupcake shaker card is part of the "13 Shaker Cards Cutting File Set". You can also buy each of them individually, but why would you?
I
made the cupcake as large as I could to fit on a standard A2 card front
(4 1/4 x 5 1/2), then cut out all the pieces on my Silhouette Cameo.
Designer papers are from Lawn Fawn -- Bright Side 12x12 Collection. The
sequins and Timeless Twine Lemonade baker's twine can be found in the Bella Creationz Etsy Shop. The sentiment is a die from Echo Park.
If
this is your first time visiting my new blog, THANK YOU! I want you to
know I have blog candy to give away. For every 50 followers, I gain, I

Elephants Always Remember Gifts -- and Timeless Twine
I'm posting today for Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz. I love any excuse to play with the gorgeous goodies found in the Bella Creationz Etsy Shop!
I chose this cute image from Gerda Steiner,
and colored it with Copic markers, then ink the edges with Tim Holtz
Distress Inks. I used a Die-namics Stitched Circle Die to cut it out.
Once that was done, the Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz products took
over!
I used:
There are so many great products in the Bella Creationz shop that make great little goodies. Do some shopping and see for yourself!

Hellooooooo Summer? for Timeless Twine
It was 39 degrees where I live this morning. But, this month, at Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz, we're thinking Summer and the 4th of July. This whole month, Firecracker twine is being featured (aqua blue and red), and it's one of my favorites!
I found a treat box in the Silhouette Design Store that spoke to me of summer:
Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz supplies used:
Firecracker Baker's Twine (on SALE!!!)
Hello Summer Clear Stamp Set -- LOVE this set!
I used 2 shades of Marvy Uschida Stamp Markers on the "Hello Summer" sentiment, stamping directly on the tag, then attached it with baker's twine, making a handle for my ladybug treat box.
Summer is coming. When it does, I'm ready with my treat box and Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz goodies. There's a whole shop full of wonderfulness. Check it out!!!

Oh Snap! A tutorial for Timeless Twine
It's Technique Tuesday on the Timeless Twine blog. I'm showing off what I call "the lazy crafter's guide to pom-poms". All you need is a couple fingers. Let me explain!
First, the finished project:
Below, is a photo box. It holds 4-6 pictures.
Like that little pom? Here's how I did it...
Wrap the Timeless Twine around 2 fingers. I used Lemonade Yellow on this pom-pom. (sorry it's blurry. I had to take the pic with my SLR and 1 hand)
Next, take a piece of twine and fit it between your 2 fingers. This will be used to tie off your pom. I leave it a bit longer than I think I'll need, just in case.
Work your fingers loose, then tie your knot securely.
Cut the loops apart.
Then, all that's left is to trim everything to a similar length and give it a bit of a fluff.
Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz products used:
Next time you need that little extra embellishment for a project, give this a try. You'll love how fast it is!

Photo Love -- for Timeless Twine
It's Move it Monday today on the Timeless Twine blog, and I have a card with a couple different types of movement on it. This month, we're also featuring the "Oh, Snap" stamp set by Bella Creationz.
Here's one view of my creation:
I found this camera shaker card file in the Silhouette Design Store. I filled the shaker with Bella Creationz sequins to create movement. I used the 'Oh, Snap' same set to add the Photo Love sentiment to the front of the camera, then wrapped some Aqua Blue Timeless Twine around the camera lens and tied a bow.
Next, I made a pocket with my Silhouette, using this file. I sized it to fit a Bella Creationz tag. This tag will pull out of the pocket, creating more movement.
Here's a view of the tag, removed from the pocket.
I used more stamps from the 'Oh, Snap' stamp set on the tag. I also used more Timeless Twine on the ribbon.
You can find the tag, stamp set, sequins, and beautiful Aqua Blue twine in the Bella Creationz store. It is temporarily closed, but will be opening again very shortly.

Happy Day Shake, Shake, Shaker! for Timeless Twine
It's Shaker Saturday on the Timeless Twine blog today, and I love shaker cards! I had a blast with this one! The hardest part was deciding which one to make. Since I also love canning jars, I combined two loves in one:
This shaker card is a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe. It is part of the "13 Shaker Cards Cutting Files". I used papers from My Mind's Eye Love Me Do Collection.
Everything else is from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz:
The sequins
2 colors of Sorbet Timeless Twine (I used Watermelon Sorbet and Key Lime Sorbet)
White Heart Sticker
Happy Days Stamp Set
I seriously LoVe this stamp set. It can be used in so many different ways. Versatile to the MAX!
Thanks for shaking up your Saturday with me!

Hold on to Love for The East Wind
There's a new release every Tuesday and Friday at The East Wind. Wow! That's a lot of new releases! That's part of what drew me to this company in the first place -- I like all that freshness. Today's release is so different than any of the other East Wind releases. It touches something deep within me with it's innocence.
This The East Wind digi is "All You Need Is", and as previously hinted at, it is releasing today in The East Wind Etsy shop.
I colored "All You Need Is" with Copic markers, then used a Spellbinders label die to cut it out. I mounted that on a metallic silver doily from the Bella Creationz store. The sentiment is computer generated, then cut out on a Lawn Fawn stitched label die. The designer papers are My Mind's Eye, The Sweetest Thing - Lavender 6x6 pad. The baby pink crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.
Hold on to love. Really, when it's all said and done, what else is there? Have a great weekend, everyone! Check back on Tuesday for another great The East Wind release.

Love Lives Here -- Again! for Timeless Twine
It's Thursday, so that means it's time for Throwback Thursday on the Timeless Twine blog. I switched computers not too long ago, and not all my pictures from previous cards made it on to the new computer, so I looked through old cards until I found what I was looking for.
Here's the remake of the card:
Here's the original:
The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company. The new version of the card was colored with Prismacolor pencils. I made the background paper using a cloud embossing folder, a resist technique, and spray inks.
Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz products used:
Olive Green Timeless Twine
Lemonade Yellow Timeless Twine
Platinum Sequins -- coming soon
I want to invite you back March 20-22 for "Julie's Blogoversary Blog Hop." I've gathered my friends for the 3rd edition of this event. Shake an Easter Tail -- for The Cutting Cafe
Easter is just around the corner, and this time, for The Cutting Cafe, we can make "anything Easter." Ever since I made the blind lady at my nursing home her first shaker card at Halloween, I've been making her new ones for every holiday. She gets such enjoyment out of getting a card that she can actually do more than have someone read to her. And, at 99, one should get all the enjoyment out of life one can find! So, I made her this!!!
This bunny shaker card is part of the Easter Overlays and Shaker Card Files at The Cutting Cafe.
Papers on this card are from October Afternoon. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper. Sequins are from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz. The tie dye ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.
I want to invite you back for "Julie's 3rd Blogoversary Blog Hop", March 20-22. There will be lots of inspiration and prizes, including a chance to win 3 sets of your choice from The Cutting Cafe! Thanks, Regina! You are always so generous! There's also a couple of freebies for everyone who participates! Yea!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew -- Easter Critters
Die Cuttin' Divas -- Welcome Spring
Digi Choosday -- Anything but a square card

Easter Taggin' for Timeless Twine
It's Tag it Tuesday on the Timeless Twine blog and I decided to get a jump start on my Easter cards. I always make and give away a few for the holiday, so I might as well get started!
Bella Creationz/Timeless Twine products used:
Metallic Silver Lace Doilies
The image, by Gerda Steiner, was colored with Copic markers. I had the chipboard glasses from a Simon Says Stamp card kit. I thought they added the perfect "nerdy" look to the rabbit. This bunny is part of the GSD progressive challenge. This is the second month of the challenge, and the second month I have played along. I am also entering this in a chance to be a guest designer, as I LOVE Gerda Steiner images!
Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
GSD Challenge -- #2 (progressive)
The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge -- Use a Doily

Monochrome Monday -- for Timeless Twine
It's Monday, and I get to start the first Monochrome Monday on the Timeless Twine blog. Yea! I went with a Valentine's Day theme since it's February.
I found this Tiny Hearts Gift Bag in the Silhouette Design Store.
Then, it was time to embellish my bag, and that's where Timeless Time and Bella Creationz shines! The pink tag, from the Bella Creationz Etsy Store, is one of the Multi-Colored Gift Tags. I used the new "Happy Days" clear Stamp set and stamped the sentiment on the tag. Then, I wrapped the Gift Bag in lush Strawberry Cupcake Baker's Twine.
There's also a splash of aqua color on the handle -- its some crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.
Join us all month for great fun and inspiration!

Happy Treat Bag -- for Timeless Twine
Happy Monday, everyone! We're having a little light snow here today, so the project I'm sharing here and on the Timeless Twine blog is a perfect fit.
My husband takes his lunch to work everyday. I like to make little surprises for him and tuck them in his lunch bag. This is one of those surprises:
I found this Snowflake Short Envelope Bag at the Silhouette Design store. I used Aqua Blue Twine, Cherry Red Twine, Clearly Beloved Sequins, and Clearly Beautiful Loose Sequins on this bag.
Tucked inside the Snowflake envelope is a Bella Creationz Kraft Tag.
I covered a portion of it with designer paper, then used the "NEW" Bella Creationz Happy Days Clear Stamp Set (year round sentiments).
Supplies used on tag:
I had so much fun making my happy snowflake treat bag. I hope it makes my husband's day brighter!
