Candy Corn Boo! For Bugaboo Stamps

It's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch the Bug for Bugaboo Stamps. Every Wednesday, the obscure, usually humorous, always worth celebrating holidays are observed.  For instance, did you know that tomorrow is Candy Corn Day?  I know that's a day worth celebrating!

I used Chubby Ghost - Candy Corn on this card.  I colored Chubby Ghost - Candy Corn with Copic markers, then fussy cut him out.

I created the rocking card by cutting out the largest circle die I own (6 inches), and folding it in 1/2.  Then, using a piece of Halloween candy paper from Close To My Heart, and a circle die a slight bit smaller, I created the next layer.  The 'Boo!' sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios.  It's been my go-to Halloween die this season.

Candy Corn day!  I hope you celebrate it!  Check out what else we're celebrating over at Catch the Bug Blog. And, by all means, treat yourself to some shopping at Bugaboo Stamps

Too Cute to Spook -- For The Outlawz PAM Challenge

It's Saturday, and it's time for a new challenge at the Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode Challenges.  Every other Saturday, we start a new one! The theme for the next 2 weeks (just in time for Halloween!) is 'Spider Webs'.  Oooh!  That's a spooky one!

Our wonderful sponsor for every challenge all year long is Bonnie, of We Are 3 Digital Shop. You'll find papers for any occasion you can imagine (including spider webs!), printables, sentiments, and even slim line papers.  Make sure and check out the wonderful We Are 3 Digital Shop

Using the Spider Webs theme, here's my card for the PAM challenge that starts today:

This "very" spooky spider card was created with the We Are 3 Itsy Bitsy Spider.  It comes with both a pre-colored and a black & white version.  I used the pre-colored here.  There's also a balloon that comes with it.  The fun spider web paper is the Web Works collection. The gingham accent paper in part of the Rainbow Gingham Collection. The sentiment is from the Halloween Sentiment Set

I hope you join us at The Outlawz PAM Challenge for our Spider Web challenge.  It should be great fun!  Use those webs in the paper, on the image, or with a die.  I'd love to see what you create!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Falling for Fall -- a New Release at All Dressed Up Stamps

Every month at All Dressed Up Stamps, Wendy draws up 4 fantastic new release images.  I swear they just keep getting better and better.  I don't know how she does it month after month, year after year!  Today, I had the great privilege of coloring up Look At Me, found in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

Look At Me!

I colored Look At Me with Copic markers.  Doesn't she take you right back to childhood?  I had a tree just like this in my backyard, and I spent hours dangling upside down, watching the world, the clouds, the neighborhood.  I thought it was a great perspective.  Now, I couldn't do it for 30 seconds!

That awesome leaf edger die is from Crafter's Companion.  I did a bunch of paper piecing on it.  The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the Autumn Woodlands papers.  The sentiment is also from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is part of the Itty Bitty - Fall Sentiment set.

All 4 new releases will be featured today.  You can find what members of the design team created with them on the All Dressed Up Stamps blog  and in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook Group.  You'll also find challenges both places.  Check out all the great inspiration!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Stella Says Boo! (or is it Sketch?) at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Sunday, and it's time for a Stella Says Sketch Challenge at Catch the Bug for Bugaboo Stamps!  I love a sketch challenge, and Stella has some of the best!

I'll show you my card first, then the sketch I used, then double back to the details.

Using Pumpkin Ghost

I colored Pumpkin Ghost up with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers.

Here's the sketch for the next 2 weeks at Stella Says Sketch

As you can see, I followed the sketch exactly.  I liked it, and thought it worked well for the Pumpkin Ghost image, so I didn't want to mess with it.

Papers on this card are by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are part of the Thankful paper pack

The Boo! diecut is a die from Tonic Studies.  The image was cut out with a die from Crafter's Companion.  The black sparkle trim is by Close To My Heart.

Stella Says Sketch Challenges run for 2 weeks, so you have time to join us!  Id love to see you linked up! We've got great prizes for you to win!

Spooky Boo! for Dies R Us Challenges

It's the 15th of the month, so it's time for a new challenge at Dies R Us Challenges.  On the 1st and the 15th, they start -- just like clockwork!  The challenges have a theme, and you need to use a die sold in the Dies R Us Store. The theme for the next 2 weeks is "Boo" (Halloween).  We'd love to see those Halloween creations, and remember, use a die sold in the Dies R Us Store.

I like cute Halloween, not spooky Halloween, so what better die to feature than than Tutti designs, Cute Witch:

I cut Cute Witch out 3 different times, using black, grape, and orange card stock colors.  I did a little cutting, then paper pieced them together.  The bats I used on this card are from Spellbinders, but I think this set from Impression Obsession would work just as well. The sentiment is from Tonic Studios, but this Boo! from Serendipity Dies is really cute!

The papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The witches hat paper is from the Cute Halloween papers. The stripe across the middle is a piece of paper from Halloween Night.  The spiderweb ribbon is from Really Reasonable ribbon.

I hope you can join us for our Halloween challenge at Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  You can find lots of great dies at Dies R Us, and their sister store (especially for Canadian customers) Didi Crafts.

I Love Fall -- for The Outlawz Saturday Paper ala Mode

I do love Fall!  So, today's challenge over at the Outlawz Saturday Paper ala mode Challenge is perfect.  The theme is Woodland, and this time of year, that can mean only one thing to me -- Fall! However, it can be interpreted however you'd like it to.  It might be a great time to make some Christmas cards with trees on them.  That would fit the theme!

Challenges over at Paper ala Mode run for two weeks.  Bonnie, at We Are 3 Digital Shop, is our sponsor all year.  She gives a nice gift certificate to a winner at the end of every challenge.

With the Woodland theme in mind, here's my card for the challenge:

The mushroom images are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The mushrooms come in both black & white and pre-colored.  I used the black & white versions, coloring them with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers.

The papers on this card, also from We Are 3 Digital Shop, are part of the Autumn Woodlands Collection.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty - Fall collection

The woodland mouse is a die from Scrapman.  He's looking for somewhere warm to live this winter.  I hope it's not my house!  The stitched oval dies are from Queen & Company.

I hope you can join us these next 2 weeks at Saturday Paper ala Mode for our Woodland challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Old Crow Greetings -- for Bugaboo Stamps

Hey, there!  Thanks for visiting today!  It's Oldie but Goodie day over on the Catch the Bug blog, featuring Bugaboo Stamps. Every Thursday, some of our favorites from the past are featured.

I remembered this crow and pumpkin digi, and since I'm feeling rather like an old crow these days, I thought it would be appropriate to feature it today!

This digi is called Pumpkin Crow, and it's only a $1!

I colored Pumpkin Crow with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers.  The fun dotty paper on the background is from We Are 3 digital Shop.  It is part of the Autumn Delight Collection. The sentiment, Also from We Are 3, is one of the Itty Bitty Autumn Sentiment Collection

The wonky stitched oval die is from The Scrapping Cottage. The sentiment is cut out and backed with die from Queen & Company.

Check out the other inspiration at Catch the Bug.  Then, come back tomorrow for Freebie Friday!

Pumpkin Patch Greetings -- for Bugaboo Stamps

After well over a month away from blogging, I'm pleased to have a card to share today!  I've been recovering from a heart procedure.  I had an internal defibrillator placed the end of August.  I had a few complications, but I believe I am back on track now.

It is Friday, and it is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps!  For the next week, today's cute Pumpkin Patch digi is absolutely free!  Visit the Bugaboo Stamps Store, grab it, and enter our challenge over at Catch the Bug (there's a new one starting tomorrow).

Here's my creation, using Pumpkin Patch:

I used Spectrum Noir Triblend markers to color the image.  I recently got a few of them at a steal, and I'm trying to like them.  It's hard to adjust after using Copics for so long.

The plaid paper and the Autumn Greetings sentiment are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The paper is part of the Autumn Flannel Collection.  The sentiment is part of the Itty Bitty Autumn Sentiment Set.

All the dies on this card are from Queen & Company.

Take advantage of today's freebie at Bugaboo Stamps!  You can see more great inspiration at the Catch the Bug Blog
