Missing You -- for Oddball Art

It's the end of the month, and at Oddball Art, we're in the middle of our Anything Goes challenge.  It's time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration.

I have a friend I've been missing lately, so I took advantage of the Anything Goes theme this month to use the Image #30, Evie & Bunni, to create this:

I colored Image #30 with Copic markers and stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp near her.  Then, it was a matter of creating the card.

Label dies from Spellbinders, papers from Close To My Heart, and crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl JAM completed this Missing You card for the Oddball Stamps Anything Goes Challenge.

Hello, and happy Friday, everyone!  I'm posting today for Great Impressions Stamps, and I'm re-posting one of my favorite cards from a few months ago.

Since Christmas is looming ever closer, and we cardmakers are feeling the need to "get those cards made", I thought I'd showcase this card...

This card features E815 Singing Birds and D472 Fa la la la la.

I colored E815 Singing Birds with Copic markers.  I added a bit of Icicle Stickles glitter glue to their hats for some added sparkle.

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart.  Dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas and Lawn Fawn.

Check out all the wonderful Christmas stamps in the Great Impressions Store.  You won't be disappointed!

Just Keep Juggling

I had a little extra time to play today, so I colored up this adorable image from Gerda Steiner.  This is the November freebie at The Outlawz progressive challenge.

Love this tiger with his positive attitude!  He's concentrating so hard to keep it all together.  That's exactly how I feel these days.  I just might have to send this card to myself!

I colored Juggling Tiger with copic markers, then fussy cut it.  The papers on this card are from Echo Park.  I wanted them to be as bright and cheerful as the coloring.  I used a variety of circle dies from Craftin' Desert Divas and Lifestyle Crafts to make the card.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Save the Hooters!

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month, and at both The Cutting Cafe and Imagine That! Digistamp, we're honoring the month with some inspiration.  At The Cutting Cafe, the whole team is featuring files with a great cancer awareness theme this week.

I used the Ribbon Shaped Card Cutting File from The Cutting Cafe to create this:

The gingham paper, adorable owl, and fun sentiment are all from Imagine That! Digistamp.  It uses the Give a Hoot digital stamp set,  and the BCA Ribbons Digital Papers.  All Breast Cancer Awareness sets and papers are 50% in October using code BCA50 in the Imagine That! Digistamp shop.

Check out what the other designers from The Cutting Cafe have made for Great Cancer Awareness this week.  They'll be posting in the Cutting Cafe Facebook group.  Tomorrow, Oct. 21, check out The Cutting Cafe blog to see the entire team all in one post.  Leave a comment and you could win 3 sets of your choice!

Let's Celebrate! an MHK Designs New Release (day 5)

Today is the final day of new releases at MHK Designs.  It's been a great few days, and I've so enjoyed it! Today's new release is perfect for New Year's Eve, and it makes for a party on a card. You'll see what I mean....

This is New Year Greetings...

I printed the fun, vintage party couple on some bright red card stock.  I chose one of the sentiments from the New Year Greetings set on bright green card stock. Then, it was time to really liven things up.  The designer papers are from MHK Designs, cut out with various circle dies from Lifestyle Crafts. They're the Simply Seasonal collection. Champagne glasses cut out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store, and a bit of gold glimmer trim from Close To My Heart finished out the card.

Sets used:

That's it for this week's releases.  I've had such a good time, and I hope you have, too!  I'll be back again tomorrow for the start of the MHKDesigns October/November challenge.  Please join us!

Dies used to make this card are from Lawn Fawn. The sequins in the shaker are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Merry & Bright -- for Imagine That! Digistamp

It's New Release day at Imagine That! Digistamp, and I'm back with another adorable one!

This card uses Tania's Tree Costume, colored with Copic markers. Isn't she sweet?  I think she's perfect for a Christmas card.  She's bound to bring some Christmas joy to whoever gets this card!

This card also uses digital papers from Imagine That! Digistamp.  They are Merry & Bright digital papers.

The card base was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo with a cutting file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons.  A Spellbinders die was used to cut out the colored Tania's Tree Costume.  The sentiment, also part of Tania's Tree Costume, was cut out with a Hot Off the Press die.  The rhinestones are from my stash.

There are more new releases today at Imagine That! Digistamp.  Visit the blog throughout the day to see them all.  You won't be disappointed!  Then, check out the Imagine That! Digistamp Facebook group for even more inspiration.

Pa-Rum-Pum-Pa-Pum -- for Imagine That! Digistamp

It's New Release Day at Imagine That! Digistamp and I'm super excited! There are some wonderful Christmas releases today, and the design team has outdone themselves with fantastic inspiration to share with you!

I have 2 posts for Imagine That! Digistamp today.  This first one is to share with you the wonderful new release, Little Drummer Boy:

I colored the Little Drummer Boy with Copic markers.  The designer papers on this card and the sentiment are also from Imagine That! Digistamp.  They are Christmas Flakes Digital papers.

Spellbinders dies were used to cut  out the papers and Drummer boy shape.  There's a bit of red ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to "tie" it all together (pun intended).

More new releases coming!  Check the Imagine That! Digistamp blog throughout the day for all the new releases, and the Imagine That! Digistamp Facebook group for even more inspiration!

Wishing you a Happy Holiday -- MHK Designs New Release, Day 3

It's day 3 of New Releases at MHK Designs.  Make sure you visit the MHK Designs blog to find out how to win today's set - and the whole new release - for yourself! Today's release is very vintage and very Christmas.  It's about beauty and memories, and I love it!

Here's what I created with Wonderful Wreath

I love colored pencils on Kraft.  This wreath was a joy to color up because it was already quite shaded, so it was as if it had "guidelines" for me to color.  Great fun!  I placed one of the sentiments from the Wonderful Wreath set smack dab in the middle of the wreath.  There was empty space there, and it seemed the place for it.  I added some red rhinestones, too, to add a bit more sparkle.

The shaped card base is a file from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The designer paper is from MHK Designs - Simply Seasonal.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Come back again tomorrow for day 4 of the New Releases.  You won't be disappointed!

Little Moments Matter a Whole Bunch -- for Path of Positivity

Hello, my crafty friends!  Happy Monday!  It's time for a bit of crafty inspiration on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog where we are 1/2 way through this month's challenge.  The theme this month is "Friendship".

I made this card using a pre-colored image from one of this month's guest sponsors, Sparkle N Sprinkle.

This is the Country Flowers digital stamp set.  Both the image and the sentiment are part of the kit.  I don't often use pre-colored images, but this one is so well done! Plus, the sentiment is perfect for our Friendship-themed challenge, don't you think?

Papers for this card are from My Mind's Eye 6x6 Everyday Flair paper pad.  The cross stitched oval dies are from Die-namics.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Sending Birthday Wishes -- MHK Designs New Release, Day 2

I'm so excited to share MHK Designs day 2 New Release with you!  Those oh-so-tough masculine cards and projects just got easier!  Make sure to visit the MHK Designs blog to see how to win the release (and others) for yourself.

Today's release is called, Various Vehicles.  It has so many great vintage images, it's amazing!  Here's what I created with just one of them:

I love old red trucks, so I printed the vintage truck on red card stock.  Then, I took a piece of gray card stock that was more than twice as long, folded it, glued the truck to it, and fussy cut around it all, leaving a fold by the front bumper of the truck to make it a card.  I used one of the sentiments from the Various Vehicles set and placed it in the bed of the truck.  I used a couple of rhinestones from my stash for the hubcaps.  Done!  Fun!

Isn't she sweet?  I think she'll cheer up anyone!  I colored image #111 with Copic markers, then used Spellbinders dies to build the card.  Tim Holtz distress inks were used around the outside of the image.

Papers are from My Mind's Eye 6x6 Everyday Flair paper pad.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Happy Fall, Y'all! -- for Imagine That! Digistamp

It's the 15th of the month, and it's time for a bit of mid-month inspiration in the Imagine That! Digistamp Creative Playground.  This month's theme is Fall Embossing.  Not only do we want to see your fall-themed projects, but we want to see some embossing (wet or dry) on them also.

I looked out my window a few minutes ago and counted 7 squirrels in my yard.  They are almost always there, under the bird feeders, busy, busy, busy!  As long as they are not IN my bird feeders, I am happy with them, and find them quite entertaining.  They were the inspiration behind today's card.

Meet Humphrey!!

This is Humphrey's Acorn, colored with Copic markers, then fussy cut.  I love how happy he is with that acorn!  He's on a rocking card that I cut out on my Silhouette Cameo with a file found in the Silhouette Design store.  The sentiment is part of the Humphrey's Acorn digital stamp set.

Papers for this card are from the Imagine That! Digistamp Store.  They are Bella's Beauties Fabulous Fall Digital Papers

I printed a green paper, then ran it through a wood grained embossing folder.

I hope you are able to join our Fall Embossing challenge this month at the Creative Playground.  There's still plenty of time (until Nov. 4), there's great prizes to win, and I'd love to see what you make!

Boo! for Great Impressions Stamps

Happy Friday!  Are you ready for Halloween?  I'm posting today for Great Impressions Stamps and I have a super cute Halloween card to share with you.

I like Halloween to be cute, not spooky, so these 2 rubber stamps from Great Impressions Stamps were perfect for this card.

I used F617 Caped Buddies and A135 Boo! on this card.

After stamping F617 Caped Buddies onto white card stock, I colored the image with Copic markers, then stamped A135 Boo! onto some white space near the colored image.

The card was constructed using papers and glitter domes from Close To My Heart and dies from Top Dog dies.

I'm trying to get enough Halloween cards made for all the residents in my nursing home.  Add another to the pile!

Great Impressions Stamps has a monthly challenge going on that goes all month. It's Anything Goes.  Come join us!

Rory in Santa's Workshop -- for Lacy Sunshine

Happy Sunday, fellow crafters!  I have a piece I'm posting today for Lacy Sunshine.  It's from one of Heather Valentin's newest coloring books.  If you like to color, this was awesome fun!

Rory in Santa's Workshop is an image from the book Rory's Sweet Urchin Christmas, written and illustrated by Heather Valentin.  You'll find it on the top 100 seller list at Amazon!

I usually write down my Copic colors, and often have a tutorial when I'm posting for Lacy Sunshine, but I used so many Copic markers on this piece, I lost track.  While I didn't use my entire collection, it was very close!

Simply Delightful Christmas -- for Great Impressions Stamps

It's Friday! Yea!  That means I'm posting today for Great Impressions Stamps.  This week, Great Impressions Stamps is sponsoring the MOD Squad challenge blog, where the theme is "For the Birds".

I love flamingos.  How can a bird be so pink and still survive in the wild?  I think they are just awesome!  But, flamingos in Santa hats?  Well, that is simply delightful!

This card uses 2 rubber stamps from Great Impressions Stamps -- G446 Holiday Flamingos and C426 Simply Delightful.

I colored G446 Holiday Flamingos with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils, then stamped the C426 Simply Delightful sentiment directly onto the colored image.

The papers and vellum embellishments are from Close To My Heart.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.  I used an edge die on 2 of the papers -- by Hot Off the Press.
