Pretty Lashes -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello. crafty friends, and happy February!  It's the month of love, and after a short break, All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group is starting their first challenge of the year with the month-long theme of Hearts &/or Flowers.  I think that's a great one for Valentine's or Galentine's Day. The challenge starts today and runs all month.  You'll find a folder in the Facebook group for your entries.

I used an image a beautiful image with flowers on it, then added a heart to fit this month's Hearts &/or Flowers theme.  This is Pretty Lashes

I colored Pretty Lashes with a combination of Copic and Olo markers, then fussy cut her out.  The background paper is digital.  I found it from scouring through long ago design team companies that have long since gone out of business. I thought the colors went well with my image and large die cut heart.  The hearts were cut out withdies from Taylored Expresseions.  The sentiment is also from them.

I hope you like Pretty Lashes and feel inspired to enter the challenge yourself! I'd love to see your creations!

Love You Giraffe -- for Colour Crazy Challenges

It's Friday, and it's time for a new challenge at Colour Crazy Challenges.  This week, our sponsor is Oddball Art Stamp Company

Here's my design team inspiration:

I colored up Kawaii Valentine Giraffe with Copic markers, using various shades of yellows and browns.

I found the fun giraffe print paper at Imagine That Digistamp.  She has some really great papers, including animal prints.   The heart bow is a die, but I have had it for a long time, and don't know who's it is.  Spellbinders, maybe.  I used an unbranded die for the border on the right of each paper.

That's it for this card.  Please link up whatever you color over at the Color Crazy Challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art - August Linky Party
Brown Sugar Challenge --ATG
August Oddball Challenge--Sweet or Sour (this guy is definitely sweet!)
Outlawz Monday Greeting Challenge -- ATG

You Flamin-go Girl! for Dies R Us Inspiration Blog

I'm super excited to be posting today on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.  It's always a joy to be playing with stamps and dies! Today, I'm sharing a non-traditional graduation card.  One of the young ladies from my church is graduating this weekend, and when looking for something to make for her, I came across this stamp set with coordinating dies, and thought it would be perfect for her.  It was Lawn Fawn to the rescue!

This card uses a few Lawn Fawn products, including Flamingo Together Stamps and Flamingo Together coordinating dies

Here's a photo of all the supplies I used.  I will link everything at the bottom of this post.

I stamped all my pieces first, colored the flamingo with Copic markers, then used the matching dies to cut them out:
You can see that I use washi tape to hold all the thin dies in place.  That way they don't accidentally shift and ruin what I've been working on.  Washi tape is easily removed after I've run it through my die cutting machine, and the cut is complete.

Here's all the pieces cut out, including the yellow circle I'm using for a sun, and the sandy bottom where I stamped the sentiment.

I created some interest in the sand using one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders.  The sun was cut out with a Lawn Fawn Large Dotted Circle Stackables.

After everything was cut out, all I had to do was assemble it with the Best Glue Ever.

My graduation card is ready!

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Howdy, Cowboy! for Catch the Bug Challenges

Howdy, crafty pardner!  There's a new challenge starting today at Bugaboo Stamp's Catch the Bug Challenge Blog, and the theme is All About Cowboys, so put on your chaps, polish up your spurs, saddle up, and join the fun!

I used Cowboy Fence 2, and the sentiment from Cowboy Howdy on this card:

I colored up Cowboy Fence 2 with Copic markers.  He's so swank leaning against that fence, isn't he?  All he needs is a blade of grass hanging out of his mouth!

The papers on this card, that add so much to how fun it is are from 2 different companies.  The cowhide patterned paper is from Imagine That! Digistamp.  The red gingham paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The cork heart embellishments are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you can join us this week for our Cowboy-themed challenge at Catch the Bug challenges.  We've got great prizes you can win, and I'd love to see what you create!

Flamingo Couple -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

It's nowhere near Valentine's Day, but anytime is the right time to say, "I love you."  I like to give my sweetie sentimental cards "just because."  I'm a card maker.  My husband should get a few of my creations, right?

Well, this one is for the hubs, for no special occasion at all, besides he's a special guy.

This card uses Flamingo Couple from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez, colored with Shinhan markers.   I was trying out some new (for me) alcohol markers, and I don't have too many color choices of Shinhan Touch Twin markers, so my shading on the Flamingo Couple is pretty limited.

I found a lot of digital flamingo paper, but finding some with brown in it to match those cattails proved a challenge.  I found this at Imagine That! Digistamp.  It's from the Tropical Breeze digital paper collection.  The pink ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

There are many cute and fabulous stamps in the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store.  Check it out and do some shopping for yourself!  Check out the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group, too, for a monthly challenge, more inspiration, and FUN!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
D.L. Art -- September Linky Party
Send a Smile 4 Kids -- ATG Cards 4 Kids
Addicted to CAS -- Tweet
Outlawz Monday Challenge -- Love & Animals

I'm the featured designer today at Kitty Bee Designs. I'm still trying to hang on to summer, even though it's feeling very much like Fall where I live.  In attempt to "think summer thoughts", I created with this super cute Watermelon Panda, and made this:

Copic markers, bright fruity papers from Imagine That! Digistamp, and I have a card.

I hope you enjoyed today's Designer Spotlight, and take time to shop the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy Store for many wonderful digi and acrylic stamps.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Happy Fall! for the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

After taking a break for a couple months this summer, the Path of Positivity Challenge Blog is up and running again.  We are continuing with our optional color themes.  In keeping with autumn, the September optional color is "orange".  To qualify for the prizes from this month's sponsors, please have your project be at least 51% orange.

Our sponsors this month are Imagine That! Digistamp and Lunagirl.

For this first post of the Path of Positivity Challenge, I had the pleasure of playing with this Humphrey's Sunflower digi from Imagine That! Digistamp

I used the pre-colored image that came with the Humphrey's Sunflower set, so it made creating the card very easy!  The sentiment came with the set, too. Papers on this card, also from Imagine That! Digistamp, are the Fabulous Fall digi papers.  I made the card into a twisted easel, just for fun!

Speaking of fun, you can link up any positive themed project you want at the Path of Positivity, but to win the great prizes from our 2 wonderful sponsors this month, please make your project primarily orange! I'd love to see your creations, and you have all month!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
ITD Creative Playground -- year round linky party
D.L. Art -- September Linky Party

Happy Anniversary -- for QKR Stampede

It's Friday!  That always has such a happy sound to it, doesn't it?  That means it's time for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  All our challenges are Anything Goes now. Oh, that is SO much fun!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary a few week's back.  This is the card I gave him:

It uses Fine Art Rose (ES-digi6102), colored with Copic markers, and Happy Anniversary (Q-digi12007) for the sentiment. The Fine Art Rose was a breeze to color, if you like to color flowers.  It was already so shaded, the task was mostly done for me.

I used a hemstitch cutting die by Spellbinders to cut out the rose and the sentiment.  The card base is an SVG file by Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  The designer papers are by Imagine That! Digistamp. The black ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I hope you can join us this week at QKR Stampede.  Remember, it's Anything Goes!

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas -- for Imagine That! Digistamp

It's time for some mid-challenge inspiration over on the Imagine That! Digistamp blog.  This month in the Creative Playground, you can link up ANY set for the challenge, then you'll be able to choose any set of your choosing from the Imagine That! Digistamp Store.  WOW!!

I fell in love with this Snowman with Tree Hat set, and created this:

I colored the Snowman with Tree Hat with Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  The sentiment is part of the Snowman with Tree Hat set.  There's a colored version, and a black & white version of the sentiment (and of the snowman -- the pre-colored version is adorable, too!).

The papers I used on this card are also by Imagine That! Digistamp.   They're called Merry & Bright digi papers

I used a cutting die by Sizzix to make the card base.  The snowman is on papers cut out by Spellbinders dies.  The snowflakes are stickers by Paper Wishes.  I think that's it for product credit!

Imagine That! Digistamp products used on this card:

I'll leave you with one more view of my card:

This is my last post with Imagine That! Digistamp.  I love this team, but my work schedule has gotten too intense, so I'm having to give it up.  I will miss it very much!

You Rock! for Path of Positivity Challenge Blog

Hello, all you rockin' craft friends.  Happy Monday!  Today, there's some mid-challenge inspiration going on over on the Path of Positivity Challenge blog. Our theme this month is: Surround Yourself with Music.

One of our sponsors this month, and the one I had the privilege of using for this challenge, is Imagine That! digistamp.  I had the fun of using Elvis Bear on this Rockin' card!

I used a pre-printed image of Elvis Bear because he was just too cute with his glittery sunglasses and blue guitar!  The sentiment was computer generated.  The rocker card was found on the Silhouette Design Store and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  The awesome star paper is from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles

I grew up in the 60's and 70's, so I'm a child of rock 'n roll.  I'm actually not a fan of Elvis, but play me a good Beatles tune, and I can't sit still!

I hope you can join our optional themed 'Surround Yourself with Music' this month at Path of Positivity, or enter any positive themed project that you'd like.

This uses Poinsettia, colored with Copic markers, and Deck the Halls digi papers.  The sentiment is part of the Poinsettia set.

Imagine That! Digistamp's products used on this card:

I used dies from Stampendous and ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon on this card.

Fancy Folds Blog Hop with Imagine That! Digistamp

Hello, and welcome to my portion of the Fancy Folds blog hop!  I hope you are enjoying yourself and I know you are seeing lots of great inspiration along the way!  You should have arrived here from Jennifer's Blog.  If you stumbled across my blog, start at the beginning, at the Imagine That! Digistamp blog.

I found this fun file in the Silhouette Design Store, and I thought it worked so well with the new Imagine That! Digistamp Scallop Circle Sentiment set.  What do you think?
Here's the front of the card, with the belly band in place:

I used one of the MANY sentiment circles (there are also many scalloped circles in the set).  They all come both pre-printed and in black & white.  This is a pre-printed version.  I sized it to 2.23 inches, then used a circle die (2.25 inch die) to cut it out.   Papers on this card are also from Imagine That! Digistamp.  I think they match the sentiment so well.  They are the Rose Duo 2 digital papers

Here's the inside of the card, with more of the pretty Rose Duo 2 papers showing:

Off you go to the next stop on the hop, Ink Something.  You'll love what Kristy's got for you!  Have fun, and fancy fold on!

I made this shaker card using Thanks a Bunch and colored it with Copic markers.  The papers, also from Imagine That! Digistamp, are the Tea N Roses digi papers. I used dies from Lawn Fawn and sequins from Craftin' Desert Divas to create the shaker. The ribbon is from my stash.

I Love Books -- an Imagine That! Digi Stamp New Release

Have you seen all the great manatee New Releases at Imagine That! Digi Stamp?!?  They are so cute!  You HAVE to check them all out!  Wonderful!  Varied!  So fun!

I made a bookmark because I always have my nose buried in a book and you can never have too many bookmarks.  This uses the New Release Manatee Reader With Bow.

I colored the book loving manatee with Copic markers, then used a variety of dies from Paper Wishes to create the bookmark.  The sentiment is part of the Manatee Reader with Bow set.  The papers used on this bookmark are also from Imagine That! Digistamp.  They are the Beach Combing papers.  Fibers added to the tag are from Close To My Heart.

Have you joined the monthly challenge in the Creative Playground yet?  There's still time!
