Halloween 2021 -- for SheepSki Designs

It's October 1, and there is a new challenge underway on the SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  The theme this month is hot &/or cold colors.  You don't have to use a SheepSki Designs image, but we sure like to see them (plus you win an extra image if your name is drawn).

For my card for this challenge, I found another gnome to color up!  I love Andrea's gnomes!  This is Masked, and I thought it just might work for Halloween:

I colored Masked With Copic markers, concentrating on this hot reds and cold blue colors.  Then, I went in search of papers that would work for Halloween.  I found them at We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The spider web paper is from the Web Works collection. The other paper has been retired.

I computer generated the sentiment, and used a die from Crafter's Companion to cut it out and back it.  The bats are a die from from Spellbinders.

I hope you can join us this month at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  I'd love to see your hot &/or Cold creations!

Quoth the Raven -- for SheepSki Designs Monthly Challenge

October 1st -- here we go with another month!  This year will be over before I knew it started!
October 1st -- the start of a new challenge at Sheepski Designs Challenge Blog.  This month's theme is fantasy/wings.

I used the spectacular SheepSki Designs digital stamp, Mel's Crow, to create this:

I colored Mel's Crow with Faber Castell colored pencils.  The Edgar Allen Poe quote was computer generated.  The black gems are from Close To My Heart.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The orange spider web paper is a new release, just hitting the shop today.  It's called Web Works.  The other purple paper is from the Halloween Collection.

I hope you find time this month to join us at SheepSki Designs fantasy/wings challenge.  I'd love to see your creation, and you've got all month.  There's fantastic digis to win for prizes -- like this one!

Smile! for SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog

It's September 1st, and that means it's the start of a new challenge at Sheep Ski Designs Challenge Blog. This month, the theme is "For the Kidz"

Andrea has more and more images all the time, and some of them lend themselves beautifully to this kids theme, so do some shopping in her Etsy Store, then color up a digi, and join the challenge!

I used Fuzzy (image #9) to create this:

I colored Fuzzy with Copic markers, then used some tear edged dies to cut it out.

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Shabby Glam Collection. The pink ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The "smile" sentiment was stamped on the paper, and is from Paper Wishes.

The SheepSki Designs Challenge will run the whole month of September, so you have all month to design your "For the Kidz" entry.  Please join us!  Check out the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group, too.  There's another challenge there you won't want to miss!

We Are 3 is having a sale this Labor Day weekend.  Check it out!

You are My Favorite! -- for SheepSki Designs

August 1st.  This summer is going so fast!  August 1st also means it's the start of a new challenge at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog.  The theme of this month's challenge is:  "My Favorite Things".

When I think of my favorite things, many things come to mind, but I might just have been hungry when figuring out my make for the challenge, because here's what I came up with:

I love strawberries!  I especially love when it's strawberry season here in Wisconsin and I can get them fresh out of the patch.  They are one of my favorite things!

This image is Strawberry Season (image #33), and I absolutely love it!  It was also a great image to practice those berry skills on.  I haven't worked on my "shine" for awhile, and I wanted them to look good enough to eat -- mouth watering!

I colored Strawberry Season with Copic markers.  I used a die from Spellbinders Paper Arts to cut it out.  The strawberry designer paper is a long retired piece from Close To My Heart, as is the paper on the tag.  It is now almost gone.  I need a new source of strawberry paper!  The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The sentiment is computer generated.

I hope you can join us this month at SheepSki Designs for our "My Favorite Things" challenge.  Andrea has some gorgeous images to color up.  Check them out in the SheepSki Designs Etsy store.
