Basket of Leaves -- for The Cutting Cafe

Fall is definitely in the area.  We have frost most every night now, the geese are flying over constantly, and the robins are gathering into flocks.  The signs of the changing seasons are everywhere.  How timely that we're featuring Autumn themed projects this week at The Cutting Cafe. Here's my card, using the Welcome Fall Printable Set

I used the basket and leaves from the set (2 separate elements) coloring both with Copic markers, then fussy cutting them.  Both are then foam taped for a 3D effect onto backing paper.  The "leaves" circle sentiment is also from the Welcome Fall Printable Set.

Dies are from Die-namics and Spellbinders.  Papers can be found at Pixel Scrapper.  Bling is from my stash.

Visit The Cutting Cafe blog on October 7 for more awesome Autumn-inspired inspiration (try saying that 3 times fast!) from this super talented design team.  Leave a comment, and you could win 3 sets for yourself.  Have fun choosing!

Witching You a Great Day - for Polkadoodles

I'm excited to announce that I'm on the Polkadoodles Challenge blog team!  I've been having such fun on the Digi Choosday team, so now I get to make even more fun projects with these wonderful images, papers, and digital downloads brimming with goodies!  I love Polkadoodles!  I'm still doing the happy dance!

The theme for the next 2 weeks at Polkadoodles Challenge blog is your favorite card shape.  I love shaped cards in any variety, but one of my favorites these days can be found in the Polkadoodles store here.

The card shape is the Elegant Card Shape 2 cutting file.  The "scary" witch is Amelia Witch Toad.  I colored her with Copic markers, then inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Hickory Smoke.  The papers are from the Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1- Digital Download Bundle.  The sentiment tag is from the Witchie Witchie 2013 Craft Download Bundle.

Join us at Polkadoodles for our favorite card shape challenge -- everyone has one!  Color up one of these delightful images and enter the challenge.  You have 2 weeks!

It's the first of the month, so that means it's time for a new Freebie from The East Wind.  I LOVE this month's image!  I think it works so well for Halloween....

I colored Dragon's Blood with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils.

It's Not Easy Being a Princess -- for Julia Spiri

Have you discovered Stamps by Julia Spiri yet? They are the cutest ever!  You really owe it to yourself to check them out.  We're on to our third challenge already. Time flies when you're having coloring fun!

Our theme for the Julia Spiri Challenge starting today is -- add some bling.

This image is 'French Lady' and she is tres chic!  She looked like a princess to me with that big feather in her hat and fan in her hand.  I blinged the card up not with sparkly things, but with peacock feathers, fit for a princess.

French Lady was colored with Copic markers.  All the dies used on this card are from Spellbinders.  Papers and sentiment journal card are by Graphic 45.

I hope you join us this week at Julia Spiri Challenge blog for our 'Bling it Up' challenge.  You'll have an opportunity to win some cute images for yourself!

Join us, too, in our Julia Spiri Facebook group -- fun, inspiration, and lots of camaraderie. Have you been watching for new releases?  I bought every single digi in the last new release, and there'll be another one shortly!  I can't wait!

B is for Boy -- for DS4J

It's Oct 1, and the start of a new challenge at DigiStamps4Joy.  Our theme is Anything Goes with an optional twist of "B is for...".  In my case, B is for Boy:

This is Country Boy, found in the DigiStamps4Joy Store.  I colored Country Boy with Copic markers.  I used a variety of Die-namics dies on this.  The papers are from a new (to me, anyway) company, Photo Play -- Autumn Day 6x6 pad.  The chipboard leaves are from UmWow Studio.

Join our challenge this month at DigiStamps4Joy -- Anything Goes -- but don't forget our B is for... twist!

Happy Fall, Friend -- for Oddball Art

It's time for a little challenge reminder over on the Oddball Art blog.  Our Fall is in the Air challenge goes on for another 2 weeks, so there's plenty of time to enter.

I have a friend who loves owls, so I made this card with her in mind:

This adorable owl is Image 58 in the Oddball Art Etsy Store.  I colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut it.

The fall colored paper used on this card is a digi paper found at Pixel Scrapper.   The card was cut out on my Silhouette with a design found in the Silhouette Design Store. The sentiment is a stamp from Unity Stamp Company.

I hope you join our "Fall is in the Air" challenge at Oddball Art.  Check out the rest of the design team's inspiration, then join us for the fun and prizes!

The theme for this next 2 weeks is "New". Isn't new grand?!?  I'm using papers and an image from the newly released Autumn/Halloween collections at Polkadoodles.  The image is from the Autumn/Fall 2015 digi download bundle (mono).  The colored version is available here.  The papers are all from the Halloween/Autumn Paper Heaven 1 & 2 Digital Downloads.  The sentiment is from the Twiggy and Toots Digital Download or CD Rom Paper Crafting Collection.  I'm also using newly purchased dies, and NEW Lyra Rembrandt  Polycolor Pencils.

The dies are from Sue Wilson.  The 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon is part of the Harvest Bundle.
