New Year's Day - starting out Right!
Happy New Year, everyone! I had the day off, after working 14 hours yesterday. I spent some time this afternoon making some cards. Here's one I made, just for fun!
I used a sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp for the design. Here's what I started with:
I used 2 stamps from Great Impressions Stamps on this card. They're both Stickable stamps. They cling wonderfully to an acrylic block, and have thick foam for a crisp, clean stamped image.
Of course, I had to use Timeless Twine on this card. Today's my first official day on the 2014 Timeless Twine design team! There's Lemonade Yellow Timeless Twine wrapped around and tied in bows.
There's some heat embossed UmWow Studios cloud chipboard on this card. I used Deliquesce Metallic Copper embossing powder from Creative Inspirations Paint. The papers are My Mind's Eye Lime Twist 6x6.
Here's the Copic colors I used:
The Ciao marker color is BG13.
What a great way to start 2014 -- in my craft room, getting inky, with a get well card to add to my stash!
And, I wanted to let you know about a special celebration going on at The Cutting Café. Regina Easter has been in business for 5 years now! Today starts my second term working with her fabulous cutting files and digital stamps. She has a great giveaway going on that you won't want to miss!
You can find out all the details here:
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
