Oh, Happy Day! For SheepSki Designs

There's a huge party happening in the Kit & Clowder Facebook Group.  Alyce has made it to 20,000 members.  Wow!  I've been a member for 4 years now and love the group.  

Each day, a different company is helping with the celebration.  Today, it is SheepSki Designs chance to get in on the fun.   You have a chance to pick up the digi I used on this card -- for FREE!

I colored Lolly Liz with Copic markers, then looked for some papers to match.  I found these in my stash.  I believe they are old My Mind's Eye papers, but I'm not entirely sure.  I used a cutting die from Sizzix to make the center step card.  There's some Timeless Twine and a sentiment stamp from Paper Wishes.  

There's 20 days of freebies for the 20,000 member celebration at Kit & Clowder.  That's a lot of coloring fun!

I'm posting today for Simply Crafty SVGs.  It's my last post for the design team -- at least for now.  I've greatly enjoyed being on Sandy's team, but I'm trying some new things for the next few months and it's hard to find time for it all. 

Simply Crafty SVGs has some amazing files.  Today, I made a card using the A2 Frame Card Set 1:

There are SVG files for 4 cards that come in the A2 Frame Card Set 1.  This is just one of them.

I used plenty of red, white, and blue papers since this is on my blog on Independence Day.   The pinwheel and ribbon are not part of the A2 Frame Card Set 1.

I used my Silhouette Cameo 3 to cut out the card.  Papers have been in my stash forever.  I drag them out once a year and use a bit more of them.  One of these years, they'll be gone.  I think they are from My Mind's Eye, but I'm no longer sure. 

I'm off to the Liberty Fest parade.  It's the biggest event we have in this small town I live in, next to Christmas.   It's going to be great!

I can't believe that tomorrow is Independence Day here in the USA.  May your celebrations be grand ones!

I have a card I made using products from 2 of my favorite companies.  The digi is from Di's Digi Stamps, and the papers are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  I've made it red, white, and blue to celebrate the 4th!

The digi is Bluebell Bear, colored with Copic markers.  The digi papers, by We Are 3, are Roses Are Red. 

I used cutting dies by Yvonne to create the card, and some crinkle ribbon by a retired company, 3 Girl JAM.

It's time to finish getting ready for July 4.  I have to get the flags ready, hang the bunting, make more ice, and of course, find the sparklers!!

Warm Wishes -- We Are 3 New Release time!!

If you follow my blog at all, you know I primarily work with digi stamps and digi papers.  Well, I just started on the We Are 3 design team.  How fun is that!

There is a new release at We Are 3.  There are multiple parts to it -- paper, sentiments, pre-printed and black & white digis, lots of FUN!  It's called At the Beach.  I have a few projects using the new release that will be on my blog in the desk few days.  Today, I have a card for you:

This card uses the new At the Beach digital papers, found at the We Are 3 Etsy Shop, and the new digital sentiments, Sending You.

I used 4 of the papers from the At the Beach paper pack (there are 8 in the set), and 1 of the sentiments (there are a variety in JPG and PNG).

The biking die is from Simon Says Stamp.  The cloud die is from American Crafts.  The copper glimmer trim is from Close To My Heart.

Anything Goes at The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

July 1!  Wow!  These months just fly.  Since it is the first, that means there is a new link up that starts today at the 12 Months of Christmas.  This month, the theme is Anything Goes (that's Christmas). 

I used an image from one of our sponsors this year, Scribbles Designs, called Holiday Tree.  You just might want to click this Holiday Tree link, because this image is a freebie!

I colored Holiday Tree with Copic markers, then found a paper that I thought coordinated very well.  It's from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.  It's the Treemendous patterned paper mini kit. 

There's a bit of green glimmer trim on there to give the card some sparkle, and this Christmas card is ready for the 2018 Christmas season.  Yes!

For a Good Friend -- and for SheepSki Designs Challenges

I am happy to announce that I'm on the SheepSki Designs DT.  I've admired Andrea's images ever since she introduced them, but haven't had time to think about joining her team until my recent retirement.  I reached out to her recently, and when she had an opening, she offered me a spot.  I'm super excited to have the opportunity to work with her lovely images and her equally lovely SheepSki Designs DT! She has both a blog and a Facebook team.  You'll find me on the blog team.

There's a new challenge starting today on the SheepSki Challenge blog.  The theme is "For Someone Special".  It goes for the month of July.  

I am blessed with many friends, and like to send "just because" cards to them to make them feel special.  I created this card with a special friend in mind.  It uses Wild Roses (#68):

I colored Wild Roses with Copic markers.  I love to color flowers!  They are my favorite thing to color!  

I created the card used a frame die from Lawn Fawn and some beautiful pink ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The base of the card is card stock from Close To My Heart.  They have a color to match everything!   The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Close To My Heart (retired).

Knock it out of the Park! for All Dressed Up Stamps

The first of the month -- it means many things, including the start of a new challenge for All Dressed Up Stamps.  The Facebook Challenge starts today in the All Dressed Up Group, and the theme is "occasions".  

There are a plethora of birthdays in my family and friends in July, so I need a bunch of cards.  One of my friends is a big Brewers baseball fan, so this card is for him:

I colored Baseball Bear with Copic markers, then used a couple dies from Die-namics to cut him out and back him.  The sentiment was computer generated, cut apart, and arranged on the card.

The star studded background on the card base was created using a file I found in the Silhouette Design Store, and was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.
