A Garden Scene for Fitztown

If you're looking for the Blossom Blog Hop, please click here, or scroll down.
Hello, and Happy Sunday!  I'm so pleased to be guest designing today for Fitztown.  They have some fabulous digital images, and I'm thrilled at the opportunity to have a chance to work play with them!
The image that I used on this card (Garden 19), was so much fun to color with my Copic markers.
The current challenge at Fitztown is "Lots of Layers", so that's what I did.  I used layers of paper, layered on the ribbon, added a 2-layered butterfly, then added a layer of pearls to that, just for more layers!
This card was made with a Close To My Heart Kraft cardstock base, My Mind's Eye Collectable "Remarkable" 6x6 designer papers, & London Blue 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon from the Wine & Jewels Bundle. The "Hello" sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company. The butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die.  There were several Spellbinders dies used on this card. I used some glossy cardstock on the butterfly that I recently bought at a scrapbook store where the owner was retiring and closing the store :(   The pearls are also from Close To My Heart.
I'll be guest designing for Fitztown for the next two months, so you'll be seeing more of their incredible images.  I'm sooo excited!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create -- ATG with optional bling
Addicted to Stamps -- Things with Wings

  1. Julie, what a very beautiful and serene card you have created .....The image itself is gorgeous but your colouring has made it look so tactile ..... I can just imagine running my hand down the tree bark and feeling all those knots ....or the warm, weathered smoothness of an old wheel.

Layers, an abundance of them all so beautifully arranged. I can't get over the way you have retained the natural delicacy of the butterfly whilst using three layers. Gorgeous ....and welcome in my garden any time. The way you have ruffled and layered you ribbon adds further texture to this card so effectively and beautifully. Julie, I'm really enjoying this very beautiful card. Ingrid xx ♥
