It's Tuesday, and that's New Release day at Bugaboo Stamps. Every Tuesday, there's a new release, and it's always 50% off for the week, so it's a good time to grab it!
Today's new release is Butterfly Bear Ice Cream. I recently got a bee stamp set with a bunch of bee sentiments on it (from Simon Says Stamp) so I decided to make my Butterfly Bear into a Bee Bear. Here's the bee themed Butterfly Bear Ice Cream card using today's New Release:
He looked a little sad, like perhaps his ice cream is melting too fast, so I thought the sentiment fit well.
I colored Butterfly Bear - Ice Cream with Copic markers, then fussy cut him. I used this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday to construct the card. Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. The aqua paper on the top of the card is from the Honeycomb paper collection. The other 2 papers are from the Bumble Bee Collection.
The sentiment and the octagon shaped die cut are from Simon Says Stamp. The bee die is from Anna Griffin. The glimmer trim and solid card stock are from Close To My Heart.
I hope you visit the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other talented Bugaboo designers did with today's new release. Check back each day for tons of great inspiration! There's also the Bugaboo Stamps Fan Club on Facebook to check out!

Celebrate! for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez
To start getting in the patriotic spirit of the 4th of July, I created this card using the Cupcake image from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez, and went with a patriotic twist, then made it into a shaker card for even more of a festive feel.
I colored the cupcake digi with Copic markers, then fussy cut it. The patriotic papers are also from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez. They are the Red & Blue basics collection. Don't they work well for this shaker card?
Well, that's it for me for today. I have to get out the bunting, the flags, find the sparklers, get Gracie the dog decorated -- there's TONS to do before the 4th of July!
I hope you find time to visit the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store, and the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group.
You'll be glad you did!

What a Wonderful World! -- for MHKDesigns Challenge
It's July 1st, so that means it's time for a new challenge on the MHKDesigns blog. The challenge runs for a month, and it's Anything Goes, if you use an MHKDesigns image. There's an inspiration picture if you don't use an MHKDesigns image. I'll post it at the bottom.
This card, made for the MHKDesigns challenge, uses Beginnings & Endings (the apple and twig), Beautiful Bottles (sentiment), and Country Farm papers, all found in the MHKDesigns Etsy Shop.
The apple and twig were colored with Copic markers. The border on the side was cut with a die from Anna Griffin. Circle dies are by Lifestyle Crafts.
Here's the inspiration photo for you, if you'd like it.
I hope you can join us this month at MHKDesigns. I'd love to see what you make!
