It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog. This week, the theme is 'Glitter'. Everyone likes a little glitter, right? This is an easy one!
I used the adorable Crafty Sentiments rubber stamp, Isobel - Take Me to the Ball to create this card:
I colored Isobel - Take Me to the Ball with Copic markers, then added some gold Stickles glitter glue to her crown. The sentiment was computer generated.
The card was constructed using Lawn Fawn dies, papers from Close To My Heart, and ribbon from 3 Girl JAM.
I hope you join in on the Glitter challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments Designs. We've got great prizes each week, and I'd love to see what you make!
I have this blog as a place to share my creative self -- be it card making, music playing, scrapbooking, altered art, home decor, or whatever direction my art takes me. My dogs are always a part of my home life, so they have to be a part of my blog, too.

Look! Ruby Slippers! for Lacy Sunshine
Hello, fellow crafters. I'm posting today for Lacy Sunshine and Coloring Without Boundaries.
Today's coloring is from Heather's Valentin's Lacy Sunshine's Wizard of Oz coloring book, available at Amazon.com.
Let me introduce you to "Look! Ruby Slippers!"
Here's a step-by-step of how I did this:
I wanted everything but the ruby slippers and the yellow brick road to be muted, so I started coloring the slippers and the road:
Slipper Copic colors -- R21, R22, R24, R27, R29, R39
Yellow brick road -- I started with a base coat of Y32, then layered on YR23 and YR24. It wasn't as bright as I wanted it, so I went over it all with Y02.
Next, the house:
Siding -- C5, C3, C1, C00
Shutters -- BV000, BV01, BV04, BV02
Roof -- BV11, BV13, BV17
Bushes -- G40, G43, G82, G94, G99

Tall Flowers:

Sky -- B0000, B000, B00, B01
Wood base -- E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E39
Then, I used cranberry Stickles on the ruby slippers to make them sparkle. Because, really, what are ruby slippers without some bling?
There's an Anything Goes challenge going on at the Lacy Sunshine blog. It goes all month, so I hope you join in on the fun! I have 2 Facebook groups to check out, too. There's the Coloring Without Boundaries Facebook group and the Lacy Sunshine Color N Craft Community. Heather has many wonderful coloring books for sale at Amazon.com, so go shopping!

Christmas Joy -- for DigiStamps4Joy
It's Wednesday, Christmas Eve, and time for a new challenge at DigiStamps4Joy. Today, we start an "Add Glitter" challenge. This will be a 3-week challenge, going until January 13, giving the team a bit of a holiday.
Here's my "add glitter" creation:
I used the DigiStamps4Joy digi stamp, Mr. Snowman on this card. I colored the image with Copic markers, then used some Frantage by Stampendous around the edges of the snowman and on the diecut deer. The deer is cut out of chipboard with a Sweet Cuts die. The "joy" sentiment is a Lawn Fawn die. There's also a Spellbinders die used to cut out the shape behind the snowman.
I added touches of glitter using some Stickles glitter glue on the snowman's scarf and hat, and the bird's wings. The gold glitter trim is from Close To My Heart. Designer papers are by My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland 6x6.
I hope you join us for our Glitter Challenge.
Merry Christmas! I hope it's full of magical moments!
I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
PDE Linky Party -- ATG
TTCRD -- ATG (1 of 2)
Word Art Wednesday -- ATG
Sister Act Card Challenge -- ATG
D.L. Art -- December Linky Challenge
The Outlawz Challenge, Twisted Thursday -- ATG, First Day of Winter (snowman)
