Berry Best Wishes -- for Scrapy Land Challenge Blog

It's challenge time!  It's the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and that means it's time for a new challenge at the Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  Challenges are always Anything Goes, as long as you use a die that Scrapy Land sells.  There are over 55 companies carried in the Scrapy Land Store, so that should be easy!

It's almost strawberry season here in Wisconsin where I live.  In preparation for the joy of the season, I created this card, using an Impression Obsession Strawberry Basket die set.

Doesn't that just make your mouth water?  The circle die behind the  strawberry basket is similar to the Sue Wilson Designs - Noble Collection - Double Stitched Circles.  The sentiment is stamped on to a banner die, similar to the EK Success Cutter Bee Die Set - Banners.

Each time, there are 2 winners at the Scrapy Land Challenges.  Each one wins a $10 gift certificate to the ScrapyLand Store, so get creating!  I'd love to see what you make!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Twisted Thursday -- twist is berries
Cut it Up Challenge -- Welcome Summer
Craft Rocket Challenge -- summer is coming
D.L Art -- June Linky Party

Make a Splash! for Sasayaki Glitter Stamps

It's the 3rd of the month, and that's the day that a new challenge starts on the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  Challenges run for a whole month, and this month, the theme is "making waves" -- perfect for summer themed projects!

I used the darling digi from Sasayaki Glitter called Swimmer Elly to create this:

I colored Swimmer Elly with Copic markers, then computer generated the sentiment.  The dot on dot paper is digital, and is from AMB Illustrations.

Making Waves -- a very fun theme for this month's challenge at Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog.  I hope you can join us!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:

Hey Bird Friend! for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

I'm posting today for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  Patricia draws the cutest, most whimsical art, and I love to color it up and create cards with it.  She has animals, fairies, dragons, monsters, snowmen, all kinds of adorable characters.  It's definitely worth a trip to the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store to see it all.

Today, I'm showcasing a digi image called Magpie Thief.  Magpies are black and white -- a very striking bird -- but since I'm in spring mode, and I'm waiting anxiously to see the first bluebird where I live, I colored my Magpie Thief to look more like a bluebird:

He looks like a thief, with his mask on and his bag to hold all his treasures, doesn't he?

I colored Magpie Thief with Copic markers, then used a frame die from Craftin' Desert Divas to frame him with.  I found a challenge at The Outlawz for using damask, so I used this fleur de lis, or damask paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles as a background paper.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, and is an acrylic stamp.

You can find my Kinda Cute inspiration in the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group and on Instagram.

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Outlawz Thursday Twist -- Fleur de Lis (damask)

Turtle's Fall -- Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and that means you can pick up a freebie at Bugaboo Stamps.  Every Friday, a new freebie!  How's that for a good thing?!?

This week's is such a cute fall digi, I am totally in love with it!  It's called Turtle's Fall:

I colored Turtle's Fall with Copic markers.  Earlier in the week, I colored the crows blue.  This time, I got traditional, and went with a "crow" colored crow :)

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are from the Thankful Paper Collection.  The sentiment, also from We Are 3, is part of the Itty Bitty Fall collection.

Head on over to the Catch the Bug Blog to see what the other designers have done with this fantastic freebie.

Perk Up! a Bugaboo Stamps New Release

Perk Up!  It's Tuesday!  And that's new release day at Bugaboo Stamps!  If you're a coffee drinker, or know someone who is (hard not to!), you'll love today's new release, Coffee Time.

I colored Coffee Time with Copic markers.  The sentiment is part of the set.  I think this will make a darling get well card.

I find the papers at Pixel Scrapper.  I really like the coffee cup paper.  I used a past sketch from Sketch Saturday.  They are a great resource when looking for a little inspiration!

The checked ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I've had it for a long time, waiting for the perfect card to use it on.  I think I finally found it.

The circle dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas.   I also used my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper (3/8 inch) on this card.

New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps!  What a great day to Perk Up!

The papers, sentiment, and embellishments on this card are by Echo Park.  I used dies by Craftin' Desert Divas to design the card.

There will be more examples of the new releases this month on the All Dressed Up blog, and in the All Dressed Up Facebook Group.  I hope you visit both places to see the great work from this awesome design team!

Peekaboo Angel -- a DigiStamps4Joy New Release

It seems like it's been awhile, but it is New Release Sunday at DigiStamps4Joy.  There are 4 new releases today.  I decided to have a play with one of the New Releases, Peekaboo Angel, by Jen Leeflang.

I used pinks and blues for this beautiful Peekaboo Angel, colored with Copic markers.

The designer paper framing her is from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  It is from the Summer Butterflies paper collection.  The "Fabulous" sentiment is a word die from Crafter's Companion.  The stitched frame die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I hope you check out all the great inspiration from the DigiStamps4Joy design team for today's new releases, then do some shopping in the DigiStamps4Joy shop. Then, check out the DigiStamps4Joy Facebook group, too!

Sending You Hugs -- for Sasayaki Glitter

I'm so happy to be back on the Sasayaki Glitter design team!  I needed to quit when my health was failing, but I'm feeling well enough now to be able to join in again and it is such a pleasure!  Today is my first post (or is it re-post?)  for the team.

Today is the start of the August challenge over on the Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Blog. The theme this month is "male".  You may use any image you wish, but if you use a Sasayaki Glitter image, Naz loves to draw boys, and she has some wonderful ones!

Here's my card, with the "male" theme in mind, but also thinking of these summer days:

This card uses Yummy Melon (image #45), colored with Copic markers.  I cut it out with a decorative circle die from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The burlap ribbon is long-retired from Close To My Heart.  I'm going to be so disappointed when I use it all up.  I love it for masculine cards!

The turquoise burlap paper and the sentiment are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The papers are called Pastel Burlap, and have just the right amount of texture to them.  The sentiment is from the Sending You Sentiment Set.

The Sasayaki Glitter challenges start on the 3rd of the month, and run for a whole month, so you have plenty of time to get your 'male' make together.  I sure hope you can join in the fun!

Tropical Santa -- Photo Challenge at Catch the Bug

Oh no!  The week of Christmas in July Challenges is over at Catch the Bug Challenges.  I've had so much fun playing along all week!  Thanks to Jodie and the design team at Bugaboo Stamps for the great fun!  The final challenge today is a photo challenge.  I may have drifted a bit away from the photo, but I stuck with the tropical theme with this one.  Santa's in the sand, he's got a tropical drink, there's even an umbrella!

I used Tropical Santa - Drink on this card, and colored it with Copic markers.

Papers on this card are from the We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Holly Berries Collection

Here's the photo inspiration I used:
Tropical, Christmas, red.  Close enough?  I hope so!  I love my Tropical Santa card!

This card is a wrap, this post is a wrap, and so it the "Baby, it's Cold Outside" week at Catch the Bug.  Thanks so much for the fun!

I colored Butterfly Wings with Copic markers, then used some digital papers from Prima, purchased at Snap Click Supply to create the card  The frame die cut is from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The gold butterfly is a die cut from Sizzix.

Over the Moon -- for Kitty Bee Designs

Happy Saturday, everyone!  I've been retired for a week already.  It's hard to believe. I must admit, though, Saturdays don't have quite the impact they did when I was working full-time!

Today is my first post for the Kitty Bee design team.  I'm the DT spotlight on the Kitty Bee Designs blog You might say I'm "Over the Moon" with excitement!

This is Cow Barely Over the Moon, colored with Copic markers.

I live in Wisconsin, and June is Dairy month, so I thought it only right that I choose a cow for my first image to color from Kitty Bee Designs.  Plus, I had this oh-so-fun moon and stars die I wanted to try out!

There are many adorable acrylic and digi stamps in the Kitty Bee Design Store.  I hope you check it out.  You're bound to find some have-to-haves!

Birthday Wishes -- Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge

It's Saturday, and with a high temperature of only 55 degrees, I did some yard work today, some house work, but also found some time for crafting.  I finished this card I started last weekend, and plan to enter it in a few challenges:

The image is the May progressive Freebie image from Sasayaki Glitter. It's image #158, Mia Wants to Say Happy Birthday.  I colored it with Copic markers.

I used a sketch from this week's challenge at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge

The papers on the card are from Photo Play.  The circle dies are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  The tag die and sentiment are from Paper Wishes.  These a teeny bit of Timeless Twine, and some glimmer trim from Close To My Heart.

Hey There, Hop Stuff! for QKR Stampede

It's Friday!  Yea!  And, the last Friday of the month.  It's also the start of a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  The challenge goes from Friday - Thursday, and is always Anything Goes.

Today, I have a super cute bunny image to share with you.  He's just too cute!

This is Questioning Bunny (ES-digi24504), colored with Copic markers.  There's a cotton ball on his tail, although it's a bit hard to see it in this picture.

Bunnies make me think of spring, and pastel colors make me think of spring, so I'm in a very spring-time mood with this card.  He is really hop-stuff, isn't he?!?

The sentiment on this card is from a stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.  The papers on the card are from Close To My Heart.  The oval dies are from Die-namics.  The banner die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I hope to see you linked up at the QKR Stampede Challenge blog this week for our Anything Goes Challenges.  We've got great digis you can win (like this one!), and I'd love to see what you create!

Simple Joys -- for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

Hello, fellow crafters!  Thank you for visiting my blog today!  I am posting for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  Patricia has a great mix of clear acrylic stamps, digital stamps, digital papers, Zazzle files, some freebies, and some printable stamps and cards.  There's something for everyone in the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Store

I have an adorable butterfly with Flower to share with you today:

I colored the Butterfly with Flower with Copic markers.  I think that flower is working like an umbrella, keeping the sun an rain off of the butterfly.  Smart!

The card base, with it's spray of butterflies across it, was found in the Silhouette Design Store, and cut out on my Silhouette Cameo 3.  The Simple Joys sentiment is a sticker from Paper Wishes.   The circle dies behind the Butterfly with Flower are from Lifestyle Crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas.

Here's a close up of the Butterfly with Flower image:

I hope you check out the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez store, where you'll find all those goodies I talked about earlier.   It's worth a snoop around for sure!  Check out her Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez blog, where many of her images are featured by herself and the design team.  You won't be disappointed! You'll find the Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez Facebook Group here, and there's a monthly Anything Goes challenge we'd love to have you participate in!

Singing of Spring -- for QKR Stampede

It's Friday, and I am very loudly singing of Spring.  Our average temperature this April is 20 degrees below normal.  I, and everyone else I come in contact with, is very much ready for spring!

I'm also ready for a new challenge at QKR Stampede Challenge Blog.  Today, being Friday, starts a new challenge, and they are always Anything Goes.  Please join us this week!

This week, I used the adorable Singing Bird (Q-digi15005) to create this:

I colored Singing Bird with Copic markers, computer generated the sentiment, and used a Tattered Lace die to create the card base.  The design papers on this card are digital, and were purchased at Snap Click Supply.  The circle dies on this card are from Craftin' Desert Divas and Lifestyle Crafts.   The blue sequins are from Close To My Heart.

I hope you can join us this week at the QKR Stampede Challenge Blog for our Anything Goes Challenge.  We have great prizes for you to win (like this great Singing Bird digi), and I'd love to see what you make!

Happy Birthday -- and New Release time at DigiStamps4Joy

It's New Release Sunday at DigiStamps4Joy.  There are some great new releases today (like always!)  I saw these guinea fowl, and decided they'd be perfect for a more masculine birthday card, and decided to color them up:

This digi stamp is called, "Guinea Fowl Trio". I colored them with Copic markers.

I used dies from Craftin' Desert Divas to cut out the Guinea Fowl Trio and the Happy Birthday (computer generated).  The papers are old, old, old!  I believe they are from My Mind's Eye.  The small baker's twine bow is made with twine from Timeless Twine.

I hope you enjoyed this New Release from DigiStamps4Joy, and you have time to check out the other wonderful new releases found here on the blog.  You'll find all the new releases (and an extensive collection of outstanding digis) for sale in the DigiStamps4Joy store.

Live Out Loud! -- Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge

It's snowing, it's snowing!  We don't usually get much snow in April, but we are getting dumped on today!  The schools are getting let out early, the roads are terrible (many cars are in the ditch), and the snow just keeps piling up!  Spring has not yet sprung!

This cute image, "Peggy's in Love", is this time's progressive challenge image at Sasayaki Glitter.  She's currently being given away for free so everyone can play along, but I'm not sure how long that will happen for, so if you like her (who wouldn't?  She's adorable!!!), hurry over to the Sasayaki Glitter Stamps Facebook Group, grab her, and color her up!  You don't even have to make her into a card to play along.  Just color her!

I used this week's sketch at The Outlawz Wednesday's Sketch Challenge, so I have to make sure and get this entered today Tuesday, or I'll be too late.  I thought it was such a fun sketch, I just had to play along!

I colored Peggy's in Love with Copic markers, then used a couple circle dies to cut her out (Lifestyle Crafts and Craftin' Desert Divas).  The papers for this card are digital.  I found them at Snap Click Supply.  They have $1 Wednesday.  I got these papers last week, I think.  They are 'Live, Laugh, Play' by Down This Road Designs.   The sentiment is from a company that no longer exists, Whimsical Designs, but I still like using the stamp set.

Naz is looking for guest designers for Sasayaki Glitter in May.  I was on the team awhile ago until life got too busy and my health went south.  I'm through with Cancer treatments and getting my crafting mojo back again.  I miss playing with Sasayaki Glitter images, so I'm going to try for a GD spot.  I'd love the opportunity to color up an image of 2 by Sasayaki Glitter again!

Now, if only it would stop snowing so I could find some of those pretty flowers Peggy has in her hand!

Just Smile -- for DigiStamps4Joy April Challenge

April 1st!  Happy Easter!  I am spending most of Easter morning playing organ at several area churches.  There's no such thing as a holiday when you're a church organist!

April 1 -- that means it's time for a new challenge at the DigiStamps4Joy Challenge Blog.  I have the privilege of being the hostess this month.  I chose the optional theme of 'bright colors', having come through a dull, drab winter.  The challenge goes for a month.

Here's my card for the optional "Bright Colors" challenge, or you can enter an "Anything Goes" project, if you prefer.

This card uses Butterfly (jl743), colored with Copic markers.  The background was created with distress inks and stencils, plus enamel dots.  The sentiment is from Power Poppy.  The stitched circle die is from Craftin' Desert Divas.

I am so excited to be hosting this month's challenge at DigiStamps4Joy, that I hope you join in the fun!  I'd love to see what you create, and we've got great digis for you to win!  Remember, they go all month, are Anything Goes, with an optional "Bright Colors" theme.

It's March, and it's time for a new challenge at MHKDesigns Challenge blog.  The challenge is Anything Goes, if you use an MHKDesigns image.  Yeehaw!  Today is also New Release day for Blessed Lily, and I used it on this month's challenge card:

I used the Blessed Lily image and colored it with Faber-Castell pencils, using the colors in this month's inspiration photo (see below).  The sentiment is also from the Blessed Lily set.  The designer papers on this card, also from MHKDesigns, are the Get Well Flowers Digital Paper Pack.

MHKDesigns products used on this card:

Sending Love to Dawn Blog Hop -- with MHKDesigns

Sometimes life can be tough.  That's when you need your friends.  Recently one of the MHKDesigners, Dawn, lost her mother-in-law. To make things worse, she's been ill herself.  The MHKDesigners have banded together to show our support and send her some cyber love.  Dawn, may you feel surrounded by tenderness today and know that I care.  I've been there.  I've lost my mother, my father, and my father-in-law and been through serious illness.  It hurts.  Friends make the burden lighter.  So does our faith, and I know yours is strong.  Keep praying, friend, and God we see you through to the other side!

Today's blog hop begin's at the MHKDesigns blog, if you get lost along the way.

You should have come here from Jess'es blog.  Wasn't her card beautiful?

Dawn, this card is for you:

This card used the following MHKDesigns products:
