Christmas Deer -- for all Dressed Up Stamps

Greetings, fellow crafters. Thanks for visiting today.  It's November 1, and it's time for a new challenge in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group.  The theme this month is "Christmas is Coming".  It is, isn't it?  It's coming all too fast.  I've been busy making Christmas cards, but it will soon be time to send Christmas cards.  Eek!  I'm not ready for the busy-ness of it all.

Christmas is coming.  With that theme in mind, I made a card to add to my Christmas stash using the beautiful Christmas Deer image, found in the ADU Etsy shop. Here's my inspiration card...

I colored Christmas Deer using Copic markers.  I used some stitched arch dies from Pink & Main th frame it.  The dotted paper is from a Christmas paper pack from Crafter's Companion.  The holly & berry dies were from a one-day card making retreat sponsored by Scrapbook & Cards today.  I don't know what company made the dies for the class. The 'Joy' sentiment is by Taylored Expressions.

I hope you can join us this month for the 'Christmas is Coming' challenge found in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group. It runs all month.

Bushy Tail -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Welcome to November, and welcome to my blog!  Since it's a new month, there is a new challenge beginning today in the All Dressed Up Stamps Facebook group. The theme this month is Gems, Sparkle, and Shine.

November is the month of thankfulness for me.  I don't like to skip right over the Thanksgiving holiday.  With that in mind, I created this card for the challenge using Bushy Tail:

I colored Bushy Tail with Copic markers and Olo markers. I fussy cut it and mounted it on a piece of woodgrain cardstock from Crafter's Companion.  The paper with tress and a forest scene on it is from Brutus Monroe.

It is hard to see in this photo, but there are orange gems all over the Bushy Tail.  They, and the clear gems, are from Taylored Epressions. The sentiment was embossed with white embossing powder.  The sentiment is from a Pink & Main stamp set.

I hope you can join us this month for the All Dressed Up Facebook group challenge.  The theme of Gems, Sparkle, and Shine is a fun one!

Flutter Away -- A NR at All Dressed Up Stamps

Hello, stamping friends!  Today I have a new release from All Dressed Up Stamps to share with you.  Twice a month, different members of the design team share their creations featuring the current months new releases.  Today it's my turn, and I'm sharing the delightful Flutter Away, available in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy shop.

Here's Flutter Away

I colored this sweet Flutter Away image with Copic markers.  The sentiment was found in a butterfly set of stamps by Crafter's Companion.  The butterfly border is also from Crafter's Companion.

I hope you enjoyed this card featuring Flutter Away.  There are 3 new releases this month, all found in the ADU Etsy shop. You can find more inspiration using the new releases in the ADU Facebook group and on the ADU blog

Christmas Nuthatch -- for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

It's the first Sunday in the month, and it's time for a new challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends! Challenges run for 2 weeks, and are always Anything Goes!  Anything!  Whatever you're creating, we'd like to see it.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Fred She Said Designs. Thanks, Fred!   I love the Nuthatch that I had the chance to design with for today's challenge.

The pre-colored image on this was so excellent that I knew I wouldn't exceed it. So, this is pre-colored and pre-shaded.  I used a set of dies for a mini slimline card by Spellbinders Papers Arts. The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion.

The winter branches background paper is by We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is from the Holly Berries Collection

The royal blue crinkle ribbon is from D.L. Art.  You'll find it in Diana's shop here

I hope you can join us at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. Remember, it's always Anything Goes.  I'd love to see you win at $10 gift certificate from the Fred She Said Store

Dance like its your Birthday -- for The Paper Shelter

It's Wednesday, and that means there's a new challenge starting over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog. Challenges run for a week.  This week, the theme is "Party Time!!"  That's a fun one!  If you use a Paper Shelter image and you're the random winner of the challenge, you get a $30 gift certificate to The Paper Shelter Store.  How great is that?  Use any image, and get 3 images of your choice.  Either way, it's pretty awesome!

Party time!  I went with a birthday theme for my design team card for this challenge.  I thought this Go Go Girl was so darn cute!

I think I hear the Bee Gees all the way from the 80's!

I colored Go Go Girl with a combination of Copic and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. The tags are from Close To My Heart.  The sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from Crafter's Companion.  The sequins are from Queen & Company.  I finished the card off with some Timeless Twine.

I hope you can join us this week at The Paper Shelter challenge blog, for our Party Time- themed challenge.  I'd love to see what you create!

Unicorn Swim -- for All Dressed Up Stamps

Today, I'm showcasing one of the New Releases at All Dressed Up Stamps. Twice each month, the design team showcases the month's new releases to draw attention to them.  Today is one of those days. You'l find the New Releases, and all the fantastic All Dressed Up digis in the All Dressed Up Stamps Etsy Shop

There are 3 new releases this month, including the adorable Unicorn Swim.  I feel cooler just looking at her splashing around!

Isn't she sweet?  I colored Unicorn Swim with Copic markers, then fussy cut the image.  I cut the rocking card base out on my Silhouette Cameo 3, with a file I found in the Silhouette Design store.  I used papers from Crafter's Companion.  The sentiment is a die from Tonic Studios.

You can see what the other design team members created with this month's new releases by visiting the All Dressed Up Facebook group, and the All Dressed Up Blog. You'll find challenges in both of those places with chances to win ADU images!  Join us!

Field of Flowers -- For Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday -- and that means it's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! You'll find the link to this week's freebie, plus awesome inspiration, over on the Catch the Bug Blog

Today's image is part of a set called Mini Set - Flowers, in case you miss the freebie, but still want the design. There are 7 flower designs in the set, including this one:

I colored Mini Set - Flowers with Copic markers. I cut it out with a square stitched die from The Scrapping Cottage, and cut out the same die in a pearlescent yardstick for some contrast.  I computer generated the sentiment right into the stamp design.  The background paper is from my stash.   The flowers are from Prima.

That's my inspiration with today's freebie, Mini Set - Flowers.  Visit the Catch the Bug Blog for awesome inspiration, and a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge beginning on Sunday.

Purple Dragonfly -- For Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today for the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration and Challenge blog. I love my days to post there, because I so enjoy coloring up the beautiful images!  Our challenge theme this month is Things that Fly.  With that theme in mind, I found a beautiful image in the GJZCCK Etsy shop called Purple Dragonfly.

I colored Purple Dragonfly with Copic markers.  Those wings were so much fun to color!

That filigreed bordered frame is a die by Crafter's Companion.  The dragonfly is a die by Cheery Lynn (one of my favorites).

Check out the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration Blog often to see what the other talented designers are up to. You'll find more inspiration and another challenge in the CCK Facebook group

Sweet Bunny -- for Ching-Chou Kuik

Greetings, everyone!  I am posting today on the Ching-Chou Kuik Challenge & Inspiration BlogWe have a new challenge getting underway on the CCK blog.  This month, our theme is 4-legged friends.  My 4-legged friends mean as much to me as some of me 2-legged friends, so I highly approved of this theme!

There are some wonderful images in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop that are perfect for this theme, including Sweet Bunny, which I used on this card:

I used the black & white version here of Sweet Bunny, then colored it with Copic markers.   I cut her out and backed her with nesting dies by Crafter's Companion.  The stitched background is a die from Diamond Press.  The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with banner die by Crafter's Companion. I used my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper on this, too.

You'll find wonderful inspiration on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog, so check there often.  You'll find another challenge and more inspiration in the CCK Facebook group

Be Happy With What You Have -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Friday, and that means Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! Every Friday, there is a new freebie, given to you, the Bugaboo Stamps faithful followers for a week.  Then, next Friday, there will be another Freebie!

Today's freebie is Violet Can.  It is perfect for all your springtime projects and even Easter!

I colored Violet Can with mostly Copic markers, but used a couple Spectrum Noir Triblend brush markers on the checks on the can.

I thought this Violet Can would lend itself well to an easel card, so made this into a circle easel card.  The tone-on-tone checked paper is from AMB Illustrations.  The sentiment is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It is one of the You Know Sentiments. There are 4 in the set.

Check out what the other talented Bugaboo Stamps designers have made with today's freebie over at Catch the Bug Blog. Then, come back tomorrow for the start of a new challenge.  You can always use your freebie to enter the challenge!

Since Easter is close, I used one of Jan's darling Easter sets for today's inspiration.  This is one of the Black & White images in the Happy Easter set:

I colored the Happy Easter image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is also part of the set.

The background paper is from We Are 3 Digital Shop. It's called Bokeh Blends. The Easter eggs are dies I purchased long ago.  I think they were from Peachy Cheap. The sentiment is mounted on a die from Crafter's Companion.

My Turner Foundation Prize Winners and Paper ala Mode Challenge!

Woot!  Woot!  I've got lots to tell you in this post today, so stick with me to the end, please! First, since it is Saturday, there is a new challenge beginning on the Outlawz Paper ala Mode. For the next 2 weeks, the theme is Forever Love.  Interpret that however you'd like!  Wedding, anniversary, engagement?  Your choice!

As always, the challenge is sponsored by the lovely Bonnie Kohane of We Are 3 Digital Shop.  One winner from the challenge will get a gift certificate to the We Are 3 Etsy Shop.  It's a fantastic prize!

For my DT inspiration, and using all We Are 3 Digital Shop products, I made an anniversary card to fit our Forever Love theme...

The image is called Cake.  It comes in a greyscale version and a black & white version.  I used the black & white version of Cake here and colored it with Copic markers, then fussy cut it. The papers are the Something Blue papers. Bonnie has a lovely set of Anniversary Sentiments, although I did not use them here, as they didn't work on the banner I wanted to use.

Now, on to the My Turner Syndrome Journey Blog Hop prize winners.  My original post is here.  I agreed to sponsor two prizes, and pictured them in that post.  I also talked of a 3rd prize if I reached 600 followers.  I have achieved that, so 3 winners are announced here!

Winners, you have 2 weeks (until March 27) to contact me by leaving a comment on this post with how I should contact you.  I will need your name (if I don't already have it), and your mailing address.

The 3 winners -- DRUM ROLL!!!!!!!  --   are!

Chosen by Random.org

#21 Denise Bryant

#8 - Verna Angerhofer

And the 600 follower prize winner is  # 41 -- Glittered Paws!

Congratulations!  There will be many more winners announced on the My Turner Syndrome Journey link

It's Tuesday, and I'm posting today on the Ching-Chou Kuik Inspiration & Challenge Blog.  The theme all month has been, "All You Need is Love".  There is a challenge with that same theme, and I'd love for you to join us!

Today, I used an absolutely beautiful digital image called Lily's Lullaby

I colored Lily's Lullaby with Copic markers, and Spectrum Noir Tricolor Brush pens. I used an embossing folder by Crafter's Companion and inked the edged.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM, a company that went out of business long ago, but I'm still well stocked.  The sentiment is from Spellbinders dies.

You can find many beautiful images in the GJZCCK Etsy Shop. For great inspiration, check out the CCK Inspiration & Challenge Blog each day. For even more inspiration, and another challenge, check out the CCK Facebook Group

Kids Love -- a New Release at Bugaboo Stamps

It's Tuesday, and that can only mean one thing at Bugaboo Stamps. It's New Release Day!  (or re-release day, as is the case today). Every Tuesday, there is a new or re-release that is 1/2 price for a week.  Grab this cutie while you can!

Just in time for your Valentine's creating, today, you can choose from either a boy or girl version of Kidz Heart. I created using Kidz Girl Heart:

I colored Kidz Girl Heart with Copic and Diamond Press alcohol markers.  The Diamond Press marker was overfilled and blopped. Can you see where?  I worked hard at fixing it.

I used last week's sketch from Sketch Saturday to jump start my creativity on this card.   Thanks, Sketch Saturday!

Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop. They are from the Romantic Hearts collection

Both the stitched circle and stitched heart dies are from Crafter's Companion.

One of our sponsors this month is Createful Heart Designs.  You'll find many great images in the shop!  I found at adorable hedgehog that I thought would make a cute birthday card -- perfect for our birthday celebration:

I used the adorable Aurora Woods to create this:

Christmas Stocking -- for SheepSki Designs

It's a new month, so there's a new challenge starting at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog. Challenges start on the first of the month, and run all month.  This month, the theme is "Feature a Creature."  You'll find many images in the SheepSki Designs Etsy shop that will work for this theme!  Or enter any image you have that fits the theme.

I think Christmas Stocking is so, so sweet!  I wanted a chance to color it up, and it features not one creature, but many!

I colored Christmas Stocking with Copic markers.  The Christmas Stocking digi comes with several versions -- just the bed, and then the whole scene that I colored. I cut out the Christmas Stocking image with a square stitched die from Spellbinders.

The papers on this care are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  The blue sparkly paper is from the Christmas Magic paper pack. The pink bunny paper is part of the Snow Globes Collection

The 'Noel' was computer generated, and cut out with a die from Crafter's Companion.

I hope you find time to join us this busy month of December at SheepSki Designs Challenge Blog  for our Feature a Creature challenge!
