FAB ATC

Today is my last post for the Whoopsi Daisy design team.  Linnie has made the decision to close her digi shop and only sell CD's.  She lives in England.  I live in the U.S.  It didn't seem sensible, postage-wise, to stay on the team, but I enjoyed my months with her girls very much!
This week's challenge is to make an ATC.  I don't make these very often, but when I do, I thoroughly enjoy the experience.

The Whoopsi Daisy image is pre-printed.  She's so small, I decided I didn't want to try to color her -- I didn't think I'd stay in the lines.  The sentiment and feathers are stamps from Close To My Heart.  The papers used on this ATC are also from CTMH. I thought they were a good match for the Fab girl. I used a We R Memory Keepers Cloud Corner Chomper on the ATC portion of this.
come join the ATC challenge at Whoopsi Daisy challenges.  And, once again, I'd like to thank Linnie, Avril, and the rest of the lovely ladies on the team for a great experience.

Snow Is Glistening

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge on the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge blog. This week's theme is, "Layer It Up", so I did!

The Whoopsi Daisy image I used this week is a pre-colored image.
I used multiple layers of designer paper (from Close To My Heart -- Snowhaven collection), then I layered on some Snowflakes (Lawn Fawn dies), and some 3 Girl JAM ribbon from the Red, White, and Blue Bundle.  The sentiment is the paper edge from the Snowhaven paper packet.

Live Fast and Stay Pretty!

Happy Monday, and happy November!  It's time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy.  Our theme this week is:  "Add a sentiment".  I tried to find a saucy one for this spunky girl!

I used sheet 542, found in the Whoopsi Daisy store.  I colored her with Copic markers. I inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tattered Rose and Faded Paper.
I cut the image out with a Spellbinder die, then repeated the cut with designer papers (by My Mind's Eye -- A Happy Heart, 6x6). There's 3 Girl JAM Tuxedo ribbon on this card from the Celebrations Bundle. The enamel shapes are from My Mind's Eye - Jubilee. Stickpins are from CTMH.

It's Monday, and we're starting a Halloween challenge on the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge blog.  There are some delightful Halloween images in the Whoopsi Daisy Digi Shop.  Here's a card I made using one of them:

This adorable sorceress is from sheet 614.  I chose to color her with Copic markers.
The papers are from DCWV.  I covered UmWow Studio chipboard stars withDistress Stickles to tie the card together.  The sentiment is computer generated.

Thankful -- for Whoopsi Daisy

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy Challenge blog. This week, our theme is 'Lots of Embellishments'.  I don't usually over embellish things, so this was truly a 'challenge' for me.  Here's what I did:

I used Linnie Bloom's sheet 414 for on this card. I colored her with Copic markers, then sponged the edges while it was still in the Spellbinder die with a couple colors of Tim Holtz distress inks (Spun Sugar and Dusty Rose).
I used lots of layers on this card - layers of paper, then chipboard flowers with layers of color on them.
The chipboard flowers are from UmWow Studio and they are covered with Liquid Pearls.  The sentiment was cut off the edge of a 12x12 piece of paper -- it's from Bella Blvd (all the designer paper is for this card).

Does She Look Distressed? For Whoopsi Daisy

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog.  This week's theme is "distressed".
I chose to sand the edges of all my papers to get a distressed look.  Somehow, though, I don't think my darlin' girl looks distressed at ALL!

I used Linnie Blooms sheet 463 on this distressed card. I colored it with Copic markers.
The papers are some retired papers from Close To My Heart.  The ribbon and jute are from 3 Girl JAM.
I used Fall colors on this so she'd be fashionably chic and ready for the season.

Friends Forever -- for Whoopsi Daisy

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge at Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog.  This week's theme is 'Things with Wings'. I found a delightful image I wanted to color with just the smallest of winged creatures on it to work with this week:

Sweet, isn't it? That little bird must be migrating through now that winter is nipping at our heals.
This image is from Whoopsi Daisy sheet 491. I colored her with Copic markers, and sponged around the edges with distress ink.
All papers are from Close To My Heart.  The feather stamps and sentiment are also CTMH.  The ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM.

Boo? for 3 Girl JAM

Happy Friday, my crafty friends.  I have the pleasure of posting today on the 3 Girl JAM blog, and also showing some NEW products being offered.  It's October, and I'm starting to make Halloween cards for my nursing home residents.  I strive for cute, not spooky.  I think this fits that category nicely:

Now, before anyone gets all gaga about my coloring skills, I want you to know that this is a pre-colored image by Whoopsi Daisy.  I just printed her on my printer.  No coloring required. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company.
But, what I really want to show you is that beautiful new 3 Girl JAM lace and diagonal trim. Ooo-la-la!  Isn't it amazing? The Simply White lace comes in 2 varieties, and they are both so pretty and delicate.  The diagonal 1/8" ribbon comes in 4 colors. Fun!
You can get this new lace and trim at a discount!  Use code JO10 for 10% off anything you order. Yeah!
A new challenge starts tomorrow on the 3 Girl JAM Challenge blog.  Come find out who won this month's birthday challenge, and find out what we have in store for you next month.  It'll be spooky fun!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Boo? For Whoopsi Daisy

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge on the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge blog.  The theme this week is "Use 2 or more Designer Papers".  I love to mix and match my papers, so this was FUN!

They may be a bit hard to see tucked back there behind that frightening(?) witch, but I used 3 designer Halloween papers from Fancy Pants that I've had fOrEveR!  I also used some American Crafts glitter paper.
That adorably scary witch is Whoopsi Daisy sheet 607.  I colored her with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company. The diagonal striped ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM -- it's brand new in the store.
Do you love working with designer papers? Come join in the challenge at Whoopsi Daisy!

I colored her with Copic markers.

With Love -- for Whoopsi Daisy

It's Monday, and time for a new challenge on the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge blog.  Our theme this week is "Fall Colors". It is definitely looking and feeling like fall where I live, so this was an easy one for me!

I am having so much fun with these Whoopsi Daisy images! They are just delightful!  Isn't she sweet? This image is on Sheet 487.
I chose colors that matched my papers and colored her with Copic markers.  I used 2 Spellbinders label dies, some UmWow Studio Chipboard Confetti leaves, Close To My Heart Pathfinder 12x12 paper pack, and the card was done.
Please join us this week at Whoopsi Daisy Challenges for our Fall Colors Challenge.

Bring on the Flowers -- for Whoopsi Daisy

It's a busy Monday for me, and an exciting one! Today is my first post for the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge blog.  The images are adorable, and the team has proven very helpful and easy going, so I think this is going to be FUN!
This week's theme is all about flowers, so I chose an image that had flowers in it.  This is from Sheet 541, found in the Whoopsi Daisy Shop, and I colored it with Copic markers.

Signs of Fall are everywhere in NW WI, so I wanted a late summer, early fall feel to this card.  The leaves are starting to turn on this tree, and the flowers look similar to those I see on my daily walks.  That sweet girl and dog are basking in the last of the summer sun.  The sentiment is a stamp from Great Impressions stamps. Designer Papers are from My Mind's Eye.  I used 2 different Spellbinders dies on this card.  The chipboard flowers are from Piccolo, with Stickles on top.  The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM. It is the Seasons Bundle.
I have two other posts today, too, so don't miss those.  I'm having them go live at various times throughout the day.  Check back!
For more great Whoopsi Daisy inspiration, tune in next Monday.  And, don't forget to enter the Throw on those Flowers challenge. You have all week!
